We
were on our bus and moving onto the next city and I was kicked back on the
couch playing Call Of Duty on the Xbox. Jessie had heard that we’d be driving
through some storms so she went to sleep early and I was glad for that. She’d
been helping Steve out and was exhausted at the end of every day so I know she
was doing herself a world of good to rest her worn out body. Ryder and Jude
were already passed out on the other bus and Beau had been playing the game
with me but was now on the phone talking to his sister Sadie, who I could hear
bitching at Beau through the phone.
Their
mother Sharon had passed away in a drunk driving accident (that she caused)
about six months before and Beau had paid to have her admitted into a
prestigious private school so she could finish out her education and not have
to be on the road. Knowing Sadie she was probably complaining about the rules
and begging to come out and just finish high school via the internet. Even
though she was only seventeen, that girl was a real ball buster and was going
to take the world by storm.
I
heard a clap of thunder as I was getting my ass kicked in the game and took
that at my cue to call it a night. Beau had lost interest in the game as well
and had given up a while ago so I was sure he wouldn’t mind. When I grabbed my
cell phone to look at the time I noticed that it was half past three in the
morning.
I
tapped Beau on the arm and said, “Hey man, I think I’m going to call it a
night.”
He
nodded at me and said, “Yeah I will too once I get this bitchy little teenager
off the phone.” I smiled as I heard loud shouting coming from his phone. “Well
fuck, Sadie, you should already be in bed anyway! I know it’s got to be too
early for this shit where you are too.”
“Um,
Beau, it’s six thirty in the morning in Ohio. We’re in Cali so the time zone is
three hours ahead there,” I laughed.
“Shut
up, Kris. Whose side are you on anyway?” he barked at me with a smile on his
face.
“Whichever
one keeps me on your sister’s good side,” I laughed. “Tell her I said hi and to
keep raising hell.”
“Oh
she’ll do that, trust me. Night man,” he replied and waved as I went to the
back of the bus.
I
slipped inside the room quietly so I wouldn’t wake Jess up. She always did have
a hard time sleeping through the noise of a storm so I wanted to make sure she
got as much sleep as she could get. I’d gotten a shower earlier so I slipped
out of my clothes and climbed into bed next to my sleeping angel.
When
really looked at her lying on the bed sleeping peacefully, I sighed contently.
It never failed to steal my breath to watch her sleeping but something about
how she looked tonight just made my body come alive. She was sleeping in her
pajamas (which was usually nothing but one of my tee shirts and a pair of sexy
panties) and her hair was splayed all around her head on the pillow. Her
perfect breasts were rising and falling with the rhythm of her breathing and I
had to stifle a groan as my dick was suddenly painfully hard.
I
would have just let her sleep but there was no way I was going to be able to lie
next to her all night and keep my hands to myself. I’d never woke her up to
make love to her before but right now there was nothing else that I could think
of doing.
I
gently pulled the blankets off of her and when I did I saw that the bottom of
her shirt was resting above her hips and her panties were on full display...thank
God for small breaks. I wanted her to wake up already feeling amazing and this
just made it so much easier.
I
quickly slipped out of my boxers and moaned as my engorged cock was freed from
the confinement of the material. I moved closer to her so I was half on top of
her and slowly slid my fingers into her panties. I quietly groaned in my throat
as my fingertips found her warm folds…the heat coming from her was scorching
and I couldn’t wait to be buried inside her. I parted her lips with my fingers
and slowly slid one inside her. It didn’t take long to rouse her from sleep
because I’d only been touching her for just a few moments before she moaned and
started rocking into my hand.
Her
eyes opened and landed on me and once she realized what I was doing, they went
wide and she smiled that fucking breathtaking smile at me.
“Sorry
to wake you, baby, but I just couldn’t control myself. You looked so fucking
sexy lying here and I just couldn’t wait until morning.”
“Oh
my God,” she breathed and gripped my shoulders as I continued to move my finger
inside her. “F-f-feel free to wake me up like this anytime. Feels
so
good.”
I
slid a second finder inside her and she whimpered in pleasure. She was already
so turned on that I could feel her body clinging to my fingers and I could tell
she was close.
“Come
for me Jess, I know you’re almost there. Let me feel you baby,” I commanded.
She dug her fingernails into my skin and with those words she came hard against
my hand. It never failed to get me hot as hell to feel her coming for me.
Before I knew it she was pulling her shirt off and slipping out of her panties.
“Kris,
please. I want you now,” Jessie begged and reached her hand down for my cock. I
inhaled sharply as she began to stroke me up and down rapidly and I knew if she
kept it up I wouldn’t be able to hold on long enough.
I
brushed a lock of hair from her cheek and heart skipped a beat. I was a lucky
fucking bastard to have someone this incredibly beautiful in my life that loved
me as much as I loved her.
“You’re
so beautiful, Jess,” I whispered before letting her lead my dick to her
entrance. She was writing beneath me and I immediately thrust myself inside her
hot, wet pussy.
She
moaned loudly and I kissed her lips to silence her. I know that the back of the
bus was ours and no one ever bothered us in here, but Beau was on the bus and
for all I knew he was still awake. Making love with Jess was sacred to me and I
didn’t want anyone hearing the noises she made when I was pleasuring her…those
cries of passion were only for my ears to hear.
“Go
faster,” she pleaded, clawing at my back and urging me to move.
I
kept up my slow rhythm and softly replied, “No. I don’t want to just have sex,
Jess. I want to make love to you and that’s what I’m going to do.”
“I
love you,” she whispered, rocking her hips into me and urging me on. I leaned
down and covered her mouth with my own. Our tongues danced together in a
beautiful rhythm as I slowly filled her over and over, thrusting my hips until
she was shaking with ecstasy.
I
made love to her slowly and passionately until we were both barely holding on. When
we found out release together it was powerful. Jessie and I had obviously slept
together a lot in the last four years but something about making love to her
that night was magical. I fell asleep with her in my arms as the storm raged on
outside our windows and I was completely relaxed and happy.
“Jess,
you okay?” I called out, knocking on the bathroom door. I heard retching and
gagging coming from behind the door and was two seconds from beating the door
down. The last three weeks she’d been feeling sick and couldn’t seem to shake
this illness she’d picked up while we were on the road. I thought maybe the
stress of traveling around so much was finally taking a toll on her and planned
on forcing her to go to the doctor as soon as we stopped in the next town.
“I’m
fine. Just give me a second,” she weakly called from the other side of the
door. I waited impatiently for several more minutes before the door unlocked
and she came stumbling out of the bathroom and collapsed onto our bed. The
constant movement of the bus was obviously making her feel even worse and she
curled up into a ball and moaned.
“Jesus
Christ, are we in Indianapolis yet? If we don’t get to the hotel soon and off
this bus I’m going to throw up again.”
“The
driver said we should be pulling up in about five minutes,” I replied. I sat
down next to her on the bed and started to rub her back. “Jess, baby, maybe you
should try to see a doctor while we’re here.”
“No,
I’ll be okay. I’m pretty sure I just have a bad flu bug. It’ll pass.”
“Jess,
if you had the flu then we’d all have gotten it by now. It’s been three weeks
and you’ve thrown up at least twice every single day. I am worried that you are
getting dehydrated.”
“I’m
downing ten bottles of Gatorade a day, Kris. There’s no way I’m dehydrated,”
she replied, smiling weakly at me.
I
groaned. “You know I’m not the kind of guy that forces shit, but I am this
time. You’re seeing a doctor Jessie, and that’s final. As soon as we stop I am
going to find where the local urgent care clinic is and we’re going. End of
story,” I said firmly.
She
lifted her head and looked at me pointedly. “You’re really worried, aren’t
you?”
I
nodded and answered, “I really am.”
“Okay,
I’ll go. For you,” she replied and I nodded again.
“Thank
you,” I said and pulled out my phone to search for the nearest doctor’s office.
As soon as we were stopped and checked into the hotel, I filled the guys in on
what was going on with Jess and immediately got her to an urgent care clinic,
which fortunately was close to the venue.
When
we checked in, the nurse at the front desk recognized me and immediately took
us back. I should have felt bad for the people that had gotten there before us
but I didn’t. Jessie was my whole world and I had to know what was wrong with
her.
The
nurse asked a zillion questions that thankfully Jessie was able to answer. I
was so God damned nervous that I was barely able to talk. By the time the
doctor finally came into the room, the nurse had already taken a urine sample
and said that there might be blood work done. I was worried about what the
results would say…I just wanted her to be okay.
There
was a faint knock on the door and Jessie called out, “Come in.”
“Hello,
I’m Dr. Stevens. You must be Jessica Monroe,” said a portly man with dark gray
hair and a thick beard.
“Jessie,”
she corrected as she shook his hand. “It’s nice to meet you. This is my
boyfriend Kris Engle.”
“Yes,
your presence has created quite a stir among my nursing staff,” Dr. Stevens
answered cheerfully. He gave my hand a firm shake and he smiled warmly at me
before taking a seat on his rolling stool.
“It’s
nice to meet you both. Okay, so tell me, Jessie, what’s brought you in today?”
“Well,”
Jessie began, “I have been feeling a little under the weather for the past few
weeks and my boyfriend insisted I get checked out.”
“A
little under the weather?” I replied a little louder than I’d intended to.
“She’s been throwing up at least twice a day for the last three weeks and can
barely keep any food down. She’s been living off Gatorade and saltine
crackers.”
Dr.
Stevens was taking notes on his tablet as I filled him in on everything Jess
had been going through.
“Okay,
Jessie, can you tell me when your last menstrual period was?”
After
thinking for a moment, she replied, “Um, five weeks ago I think? My periods
haven’t been regular for a while now.”
“How
long is a while?”
“Um,
th-three years.” She trailed off sadly and placed her hand on her stomach. In
that moment my heart dropped as I saw the hurt in her eyes that would never
truly go away.
“Is
there any chance at all that you could be pregnant?” he asked.
Jessie’s
lip began to tremble and answered, “No.”
“No?
Why do you seem so sure? You’re obviously young and seemingly healthy. Why
would you think you couldn’t be?”
“We
lost a baby three years ago and ever since then her cycles have been way off.
It was caused by an assault and there was some damage,” I explained with my
free hand balled into a fist.
“I’ve
been told I can’t have children,” Jessie spoke softly. “My doctor back home said
it was almost impossible due to the damage.”
“I’m
so sorry to hear that,” Dr. Stevens replied, placing a friendly hand on Jessie’s.
“I’m going to order some blood work and just as soon as we get the results that
should tell me a bit more of what’s going on.”
“Okay,
thank you doctor,” Jessie replied. Dr. Stevens left the exam room and while we
waited for the nurse to come in and draw blood she was silent. She had her head
down and her hair had fallen around her shoulders. I swept it back and leaned
down to her face.
“Hey,”
I said, lifting her chin with my finger, “everything’s going to be okay. You
know that right?”
“I
know,” she said, forcing a smile. “It’s just that…”
“Just
what, baby?”
“I
know that I’m probably just exhausted or picked up a nasty bug or something,
but I can’t help but feel let down that I know I’m not sick because I’m
pregnant.”
“Jess,”
I whispered, kissing her hair.
“It’s
stupid because I know that it was never a possibility, but I can’t help it.
It’s just so damn unfair,” she said, letting the tears fall.
