Dear City Of Glendale Business License dept:

I am seeking some help, please. Can you tell me what happened to my application for my business license? I sent in paperwork and filing fees for my comedy club: THE JOKESTRAP.

And it has been some time since I heard from you. Perhaps i was sent to the wrong office. But i mailed many papers to your city offices.

The JOKESTRAP is a comedy club, 17 tables, in a mini mall that I am renting space from. All guffaw signs have been made, all t-shirts paid for, (including 4XL which is costly), all comedy club food incl. nachos and fried cheese yums on order. (we may have burnt almond cheese straws)

So can you PLEASE tell me how I get my license and what happened to my application? I have copies of everything if you need. Let me know.

I admire your city. I am ready to open. I hire locally and use local cheese.

This is in response to your letter requesting status of your application for a business license in the City of Glendale. Depending on the location and nature of your business, you are required to apply for a Zoning Use Certificate.

The Building Department has not received such an application or any paperwork regarding your business. Enclosed you will find a packet indicating what the application process is as well as an application for you to complete and return to our office.

Can you please help me. It is been some time since I sent in my application & fee for my comedy club: JOKE ITCH. Can you tell me what happened to my application for my business license? Is it still being processed?

JOKE ITCH is a comedy club, 22 tables, in an industrial area. All giggle signs have been made, all Snuggies paid for, (including 6XL), all comedy club food including fried pretzels, cheese yanks, and slaw daddies are on order. (we may have cheese cups; definitely cheese bags)

So can you PLEASE tell me how I get my license and what happened to my application? I have copies of everything if you need. (May be under earlier name of JOKE CHAFE)
