He nods. “Really.”
I shriek and jump at him, his strong arms immediately wrapping around me, holding me tight. Safe. “Thank you!”
“No, thank you!” he says, spinning me around right there on the sidewalk.
“I love you, Decker Abrams.”
“I love you, Casey Abrams.”
I grin. “I like the sound of that.”
We smile against each other’s lips, and he sets me back down on the sidewalk. Snatching my hand, he tells me “I told you we were gonna be best friends.”
I giggle. “And I’ll always share my cookies with you, Deck.”

Jennifer lives in South Carolina with her husband and their four fur-kids. She is in grad school, pursuing a Masters in Psychology for Clinical Counseling. When she is not at work or taking classes, she is either reading or writing. Books have always been a passion. She also enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to new places, and music.
