sharply at Fee's jaw. "Fee? Now, okay? Right
now. We'll do slow later. I'm gonna … I'm gonna
lose it if you don't just—"
Fee kissed him hard, cutting off the words. "I
know. Yeah. Grab the stuff from the drawer."
Ash sat up, straddling Fee's hips, and reached
over to the nightstand beside the bed. He avoided
the handful of flavored condoms scattered
throughout the drawer and went straight for the
unopened box of lubed ones he'd brought over the
week before. No need to worry about taste at the
moment. There was only one place he wanted
Fee's cock, and it wasn't his mouth.
He tossed the box to Fee and felt around in the
drawer until his hand closed around the bottle of
lube. That
had
been opened, and the memory of
Fee's skillful fingers made Ash shudder a little in
anticipation.
Fee handed him one of the foil condom packets
and took the bottle, clicking open the top and
pouring a generous puddle into his palm. He shut it
and placed it on the nightstand, then reached
around Ash's hip, briefly caressing his ass before
slipping his fingers between Ash's cheeks to seek
out his entrance.
Ash's breath came out in a shaky moan when one
of Fee's long, slick fingers circled his rim and
pressed slowly inside. His head fell back, the
condom in his hand forgotten as he ground down
into Fee's touch.
"Oh, yeah," he whispered. "More." He moaned
again when Fee added a second finger, stretching
him, delving in deep.
When Fee found his prostate and rubbed it
gently, Ash knew he couldn't wait another second.
He forced himself to concentrate long enough to
rip open the condom packet and slide the latex
onto Fee's cock. He grabbed the lube and squeezed
a bit onto Fee's tip, then used his fist to slick it
down.
"Inside me."
Fee's eyes met his, dark and hazy with desire.
"Like this?"
Ash nodded, going up onto his knees as Fee's
fingers slid from his ass. Fee gripped Ash's hip
with a slippery hand. The other he used to reach
between Ash's splayed thighs, holding his cock in
place as Ash positioned himself and began to sink
down.
Fee let go once the head had slipped inside. Ash
kept their gazes locked as he seated himself
completely, his body opening up to accept Fee's
shaft, his muscles relaxing by instinct. Ash loved
to bottom, and he was good at it, too. One of the
many reasons he'd been so popular with the guys at
the clubs. But he wasn't about to think about them.
All those times were inconsequential when
compared to this—Fee's fingers digging wells into
his hips, Fee's body arching up into his, those
warm, brown eyes watching him as if Ash made
the moon set and the sun rise.
Once upon a teenage mistake, Ash thought he
was in forever love, the kind of love that started
wars and built the Taj Mahal. He knew at that
moment how wrong he'd been. Without his even
realizing it, Ash had fallen for Fee, harder and
faster than he'd ever fallen for anyone.
This
was
the love he'd thought he'd had before, but there was
no real comparison between the two. It was like
putting a matchstick beside a raging inferno—one
of them would be completely consumed.
Fee thrust hard into him and reached up to curl a
hand around Ash's nape. Ash allowed himself to
be pulled down into a bruising kiss, their tongues
intertwining, mimicking the action of their hips.
They kissed and pressed even closer together,
Ash's cock trapped between their sweat-slick
abdomens as they moved. His own belly was flat
but soft. Fee's was rock hard from daily trips to the
gym. Ash reveled in the feel of that powerful body
moving under his own, those muscles bunching and
flexing as they writhed together on the bed.
Nothing Ash had imagined during the past few
weeks could have prepared him for what it was
really like to be with Fee. The pleasure coursed
through his body in a rush, setting every nerve
ending ablaze, burning in his veins like molten
ecstasy. Fee jabbed up into him in tight, little
circles, stretching his muscles in a way that nearly
made Ash lose his mind. It was too much—the lust,
the desire, the bone-deep need to get closer, move
faster, pull Fee in even farther. Ash wanted to
bring their bodies together in every possible way,
wanted to be immersed in Fee and Fee in him. The
yearning for that connection was almost painful in
its poignancy.
Ash slammed down onto Fee, searching for
more, harder, squeezing his inner muscles and
rotating his hips, wanting to give Fee as much
pleasure as possible, make it so that Fee could
never even
think
of fucking anyone but Ash ever
again. It was mindless, consuming, blind, searing
passion, lips and tongues colliding, bodies
straining and frantic with the need for release.
More.
It was the only word in Ash's head. He
wanted more, everything, wanted to drown in Fee.
Enough could never be enough, not of Fee, not of
this. The feel of Fee inside him was perfection.
Ash couldn't stand for it to end.
But of course, it couldn't be stopped. They were
racing toward the pinnacle, Ash grinding down
desperately, Fee grunting and pounding up into
him, his fingers gripping bruises into the skin of
Ash's hips.
Something inside of Ash was building, shaking,
growing, and expanding. He had to bite back a sob
when it finally shattered, splintering apart like
blown glass. He came with Fee's name on his lips,
spurting warm, slippery spend into the space
between their chests.
Fee followed behind him seconds later after a
final few shoves, his body going taut. Ash watched
him, his gaze lingering on the way Fee's eyelids
and jaw clenched shut, the way the cords of his
neck stood out in relief as he tensed. The only
noise to escape Fee was a groan, long and low, the
sound vibrating through his chest and into Ash.
After a moment, Fee's eyes fluttered open. They
stared at each other, bodies still locked together,
the room silent save for their panting breaths.
"Fee, I … I really …" Ash couldn't bring
himself to say it. He felt it, God knew, but he was
terrified. Scared it was too soon, afraid he'd
frighten Fee off by admitting it aloud. He'd never
said those words to anyone, not in a romantic way.
Not even to the person he used to think he might be
with forever.
Fee leaned up and kissed him softly, his arms
sliding around Ash's waist and holding him tight.
"Ditto."
Ash laughed. That was at least one movie
reference he recognized. "You're a dork," he
whispered, smiling down at Fee.
Fee grinned back. "I am."
Ash shook his head. He knew Fee needed to get
up and deal with the condom, knew that soon their
skin would start to stick together, but he didn't feel
inclined to move. "
My
dork," he clarified.
Fee smiled even wider. "All yours."
Ash covered that smile with his own, returning
Fee's earlier kiss. "Ditto."
Chapter Thirteen
DENIAL (OF SERVICE)
ATTACKS
Denial of Service (DOS) attacks are instigated with the
express purpose of crashing a system. The most common
method to bring about this crash is flooding the system
with information to the point where the receiving system
cannot process it. Everything crashes at some point. Your
geek may suffer from a similar crash from time to time if
you overload his comfort levels. He may pull away and
shut down, not allowing you access to him. The best
approach when this happens is to pull away and allow
your geek to reboot his system, so to speak. The level of
recoverability from these attacks depends on the severity
of the issue at hand. Make sure your geek knows you are
available to him when he’s made it through the bootstrap
process.

Thanksgiving approached in a rush of activity.
Ash split most of his time between The Ink Tank,
Fee's apartment, and the school where he was
taking his accounting class. He found that it was
easier to avoid distractions if he did his homework
and studying there, and he figured he would
probably continue the tradition when he started his
management course in December.
As the weeks passed and the first class ended,
Ash got more and more excited. With Fee's help,
he and Ty had purchased a domain and set up a
simple website. For now, it was just a splash page
with the logo for Ashes and Ink, which they chose
as a nod to both Ash's first name and Ty's last.
Eventually, it would be expanded to include
virtual portfolios, information about their shop,
and a section for frequently asked questions. Ash
had already started compiling a list, beginning
with the most common request: aftercare advice.
Fee had also directed them to a site where they
could find listings of business spaces available for
rent. Ash and Ty found a few potential locations
and started making arrangements to visit them all.
Ty seemed mostly excited, but there were moments
he wavered toward sad and withdrawn. Ash
couldn't figure out why, but anytime he asked, Ty
refused to discuss it. Ash wasn't sure what else to
do but let the matter drop, at least until Ty was
ready to confide in him. In the meantime, he'd wait
and do his best not to drive himself crazy with
worry.
A couple of weeks after Halloween, Fee made
up with Donovan, who even extended the olive
branch by emailing Ash to apologize for the way
he'd behaved. Ash had replied, and though they'd
probably never be particularly close, Ash thought
they might one day be friends.
Most nights Ash slept at Fee's. It was just
easier. Fee didn't have any roommates, so there
was no one to overhear them if they got loud. Well,
if
Ash
got loud. Fee was fairly quiet during sex, but
Ash was—and always had been—very vocal. The
one time they'd had sex at Ash's place, Fee had
alternated muffling Ash's cries with either his
mouth or his hand, but Carley and Jae still gave
them crap the next morning. Ash was used to it, but
Fee had blushed and stammered, which Ash
secretly found adorable, though he would never
tell Fee as much.
Things were going well. Perhaps too well in
hindsight. Ash should have known it wouldn't be
long before the smooth waters they'd been sailing
finally got choppy. He was just so happy, so glad
that for once in his life everything was lining up
exactly as he hoped, that it totally blindsided him
when things suddenly went to hell.
It started with a phone call about Thanksgiving.
Ash had always assumed he and Fee would spend
it together. But when he called Fee the week
before to make plans, Fee's response surprised
him.
"So, I was thinking," Ash said, tilting his head to
the side to cradle his cell between his ear and his
shoulder as he wiped down one of the work
stations after closing down The Ink Tank. "How
about we split the day up? We can go to your
parents' for a while, and then over to Jackson and
Mari's. You know he wants to propose in front of
everyone after dinner."
Fee was quiet so long Ash thought the call had
been disconnected, but when he checked the
screen, the call timer was still going. "Fee?"
"Maybe I'll just meet you at Mari's," Fee said.
His voice sounded a little odd. Tense, maybe.
Ash moved the phone to his other ear and started
on the next station. "What do you mean?"
"I … I'm only going to be at my folks' for an
hour or two. Besides, your parents will be in town.
