"O?"

"Yeah its his nickname," she says as she laughs.

Wyatt

I could tell the ladies need some alone time, I turn the TV
on, not really watching. I sit here replaying last night, "WOW" is
all I seem to be able to say. It took my breath away to see Anne in the kitchen
with my shirt on. Being with her  was more than I could have ever hoped for. I
smile to myself, I can hear them whispering and giggling from the kitchen.

I hear a phone ring, then Anne talking. I am still lost in
my thoughts, I look up to see her walking towards me.

"I have to go see my dad today."

"I'll take you, I would like to see him if you don't
mind."

She smiles at me, "That would be great."

Jaylah walks into the room, looks from Anne to me. She gets
a shit eating grin on her face, shakes her head, then chuckles.

"I am going to the shop. I want to make sure everything
is alright. Give your dad a hug and kiss from me. See you bitches later."
Jaylah says.

"Bye, JayJay. We will talk later." Anne yells back
at her, as she leaves the house.

Oh how I would love to stay here and repeat what we did last
night. But reality has a way of always finding us. I need to go home, shower
and change.

"I'm going to go home and change. I will be back to
pick you up in an hour."

She smiles at me, then nods her head. I walk over to her,
take her in my arms. I give her a proper goodbye kiss. When my lips leave hers,
she bites her lower lip. Damn, does she know how sexy that is. I grab my keys,
and head for the door.

"Don't you want your shirt?"

"I like how it looks on you, keep it."

She is smiling at me, she starts biting her lip again. I
better get out of here, before I do what I really want to do to her. If that
happens, we aren't going anywhere. I walk out to my truck, not even realizing
I'm whistling.

Anne

I watch Wyatt walking to his truck, whistling as he goes.
Damn that man looks so sexy, walking out of here shirtless. I reach up and
touch my lips, that was some goodbye kiss. He knew what he was doing.

Chapter
20

The last couple of weeks have been crazy. Jack ended up
staying for two weeks, he stayed with dad. It was such a huge help, I don't
know what I would have done if he wasn't here to help. I wish that he would
come back home, I really miss him.

Dad is very stubborn, though. He has been trying to sneak
into work, the guys let me know right away. I stop over there everyday to make
sure he is doing well. I have been taking him food, he is on a new diet, of
course. He doesn't like it, yet he ate the food with little complaint. Wyatt has
been helping me out, he stops a couple times a week to check on him as well.
Everyone really has been helping a lot, it's nice to have so many wonderful
people in our lives.

I haven't seen much of Wyatt since that wonderful weekend.
We talk on the phone several times a week, plus seeing each other at dad's
house. It was so great that he helped move me into my new place. I never
thought anything would happen between us, especially after Christmas Eve. I am
thankful that it did, I have never felt such a pull to someone before.

 I have to shake myself from my thoughts, I have Shannon's
party at Kyle's today.  Jaylah and Lynette are going with me, thank god. I
can't imagine dealing with his whole family on my own. I am hoping to meet up
with Wyatt after the party, since the girls are staying there. Now that I have
had him, I want more. I think about it way to much, its very frustrating when
you can't satisfy that want.

Jaylah left for the day, I am finishing up some cleaning
before Kayla comes in for the rest of the afternoon. I hear the bell above the
door ring, I look up to greet the customer. I see Wyatt, strolling up to the
counter with a big grin.

"Hello, beautiful," he says.

"Hello yourself." I feel like a teenager, with
butterflies in my stomach, as I lean across the counter.

"So, we still on for later tonight?"

"Yes. I can't wait." I feel my face flush.

He chuckles, "Me either."

He leans across the counter, our lips meet. It's a soft,
tender kiss, I groan my approval. When he pulls away, I bite my bottom lip to
keep it from trembling. I feel a flash of guilt that I can't wait for the day
to be over and we can start our evening. He smiles at me, his hand brushes
across my cheek. He tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"You are so damn sexy when you bite your lip, Anne. I
better leave, before I take you in the back room, right now. See you
tonight."

I nod my head, I can't seem to find any words. I wave to him
as he leaves the shop, man I have it bad. I watch as he gets in his truck and
drives away. I am still planted in the same spot, looking out the window, when
Kayla walks in.

~~~
With Shannon's present in hand, I walk across the street to
Jaylah's house. We are meeting over there, then driving out to Kyle's house. I
see Lynette is already here, I knock on the door, then let myself in.
"HELLO!"
"In the kitchen." Lynette yells back to me.
"Hey." I reply as I walk into the kitchen, then
take a sit a the table.
"Wow, not that excited about your daughter's birthday
party?" Lynette asks.
"Not excited to see the ex's family, that's all."
I reply.
"Hey you got us to watch your back, they can suck
it." Jaylah says.
We all laugh, then start getting ready to go. I don't know
why it bothers me, I have known his family so long. Yet I know everything is
different now, hopefully with time I won't feel like this anymore.
As we pull up to what was once, what I called home. I take a
deep breath, then think it's now or never. We all get out, then start heading
to the backyard, where the party is at. Jaylah comes next to me, she
intertwines her arm with mine. Both her and Lynette give me encouraging smiles.
As soon as we walk in the back, the girls come running up to
us. They go around giving us all hugs, Katie takes the gifts and puts them on
the gift table. I look around to see everyone there, Kyle looks up from the BBQ
and smiles at us. I decide to go talk to him now, to get that conversation over
with. Its been better between us, yet its still not great.
"Hi Kyle, smells wonderful."
"Hi, thanks. So glad you all could make it," Kyle
says to the three of us.
"Yeah. Hey Anne I will be right back. I want to say hi
to the family." Jaylah says.
I know Jaylah is still really upset with Kyle on how
everything turned out. Especially after New Year's Eve, with Tessa. As if
speaking of the devil, conjures them up. She comes up next to Kyle, and wraps
her arm around his waist.
"Hello Anne." she says.
"Yeah, hi. Thanks again for doing this Kyle, I am going
to say hello to your parents."  I reply.
"Yeah thanks for the invite, Kyle. Let's go Anne."
Lynette says, as she grabs my arm.
Kyle frowns at our leaving and I see him whispering in
Tessa's ear. She gives me a dirty look as I turn to talk to Kyle's mom. The
rest of the afternoon went better than I expected, Jaylah or Lynette were
always at my side. I felt like I had body guards, but the way she was eyeing me
I was thankful they were there.
Once Shannon was done opening all her gifts, I snuck away to
use the bathroom. I walk in the house, looking around remembering times of long
ago. It feels wierd to be a stranger in this house, I make my way down the
hall.
As I am leaving the bathroom, I see Tessa at the end of the
hall. She walks up to me with a sneer on her face. I roll my eyes, take a deep
breath to ready myself for what is to come.
"Look Tessa, it's my daughter's birthday party. I don't
have anything to say to you,"  I quickly say, in hopes to defuse what is
coming.
"Well I don't care, you
bitch
! I want you to
know that Kyle is MINE. You had your chance, you lost him."
"You can have him. We are divorced, I moved on with my
life."
"I saw the way you were looking at him. HE. IS.
MINE."
Tessa is only inches from my face, I can tell it's about to
get really ugly. I feel someone come up behind me, then place a hand on my
shoulder.
"ENOUGH TESSA! You have no right to talk to Anne like
that."  Kyle yells.
"Are you kidding me right now, Kyle! We will talk about
this later," Tessa spits, then stomps upstairs to the bedroom and slams
the door.
Kyle turns me to him, "Hey, sorry about her. Are you
okay?" he says, as he pulls me to him.
"Yeah I'm fine." I reply, then gently push away
from him.
I walk around him, then back outside. I decide this a good
time to say goodbye.
Wyatt
I am looking forward to seeing Anne tonight. I have never
felt such a pull to someone before, it scares me. When I stopped by Sweet
Pleasures to see her, I felt like a teenager again. She looked beautiful, she
actually took my breath away. She keeps biting the bottom of her lip, it drives
me crazy. I wanted to take her in the back of the shop and have my way with
her.
I start getting ready to go to her house, I feel like a kid
on Christmas morning. I throw myself on the couch and turn on the tv. I hate
waiting and wondering what she is doing. I don't like that she is at her ex's
house, even though I know its her daughter's birthday. I would have liked to
gone with her, but I understand why she didn't ask.
I sit surfing through channels, not really paying attention
to any of it. I hear my phone beep that I have a message.
Anne    6:32pm
I am home :)
Wyatt    6:33pm
I am on my way....do u want dinner?
Anne  6:33pm
Yeah......U   ;)
Wyatt   6:34pm
I am out the door.....u don't have to tell me twice
Anne   6:35pm
LOL......see u soon
Holy shit, this woman knows how to get me. I grab my over
night bag and get my ass out the door.
Anne
Jaylah would be so proud of my new found slutty ways. I am
still blushing from the text I sent to Wyatt. I have butterflies in my stomach
with the excitement of seeing him tonight. I need this after what Tess did at
Shannon's birthday party. The woman is crazy, Lynette and I had to talk Jaylah
into not going back and kicking her ass. I was thankful that Lynette was taking
her out tonight with a bunch of our other friends.
I pour a glass of wine and stand in front of my big picture
window in the living room. I watch what little traffic that goes down my
street, waiting for him to pull up to the house. I see him pull up and I have
an over powering feeling to run out to meet him.
I think to myself, what the hell you only live once. I open
the front door, he is getting out of his truck. I run down the porch steps,
down the path and jump into his arms. I kiss him hard, pull back to look into
those beautiful eyes.
"WOW!  That is a great hello," he says, as he sets
me back down.
"I couldn't help myself, it was a rough afternoon. You
are such a breath of fresh air."
He puts his arm around my shoulder and tucks me into him. I
could have stood like this forever, but I have better plans for us in the
house. As we walk up the path, I notice a car slowly driving by. The person
looks vaguely familiar, I don't get a good look. Not sure who it is, I pull my
attention back on Wyatt.
As soon as we walk through the door, he shuts the door
behind us. He throws his bag in the living room, then takes me in his arms. Our
lips smash together in a hard passionate kiss. I jump into his arms, wrap my
legs around his waist. We keep kissing, as Wyatt walks us upstairs and into my
bedroom.
Wyatt throws me on the bed, with a smile he starts to undress.
I smile back, taking my clothes off as well. He opens my nightstand to grab a
condom, thank you again Jaylah. He leans over me, then looks me up and down.
"I've been waiting for this all day. God your
beautiful," he whispers to me.
He starts kissing my chest, then sucks on each of my
nipples. I groan and arch my back with pleasure. He rubs his hands up and down
the sides of my body, as he kisses my stomach.  I ring my fingers through his
hair and pull him up to my lips.
I push him on his back and get on top of him. We intertwine
our hands, as I kiss down his neck. I kiss him passionately, as our excitement
builds, my tongue invades his mouth. I position myself, then sit down on him. I
lean my head back with the wonderful feeling of him filling me. He is such a
perfect fit, like we are made for each other. We both groan with pleasure, as I
begin to move up and down. As our excitment builds, he flips me over and
continues pumping into me. I grab his ass, to push him in deeper. His lips find
mine and I run my fingers through his hair.
I groan with my growing excitment, I scream when it comes.
Wyatt pumps into me faster and groans with his own release. He collapses onto
the bed, we are both panting to catch our breath. I close my eyes, to enjoy my
pleasure. I feel Wyatt get up to go clean himself up in the bathroom. He joins
me shortly after, then wraps me in his arms.
"Sooo, are you going to tell me what happened
today?"
I get comfortable in his arms, then tell him about what
happened. He is such a good listener, playing with my hair as I talk. My
worries from the afternoon, melt away. We end up talking for several hours like
this. He tells me about his childhood, especially all the trouble him and his
brother would get into. He opens up to me about his ex-wife, as well. My
stomach growls and we both laugh.
"Let's go make something to eat," he says.
We get out of bed, I throw on his shirt. He puts on his
boxers, man does he look sexy.  We head into the kitchen to make some food.
"I got it, you sit back and tell me where things
are." He gives me his devilish smile, it makes me melt.
I sit on the counter, enjoying my view. He is making us
scrambled egg sandwiches, which smell heavenly. I look out the window, to catch
a view of Jaylah and Lynette returning from their night out. They obviously had
a good time, they are laughing with each other as they go in her house. I smile
to myself, this is so great living across the street. I don't have to worry
about her in the middle of the night, I can look out my window to know she is
alright.
