Bound breasts may swell and turn pinkish-red after a few minutes. This is not particularly dangerous if it doesn’t last more than about an hour or so, but the breasts will have less “give” in them than usuaL The breast veins and capillaries are fuller, and thus more likely to bruise if slapped, whipped, or clamped. Such activities may also be considerably more painful than they are on unbound breasts.

Many breast bondage fans experiment with using a long rope to create an elaborate bondage bra. Such a bra is made by wrapping the rope around the breasts, around the torso, over the shoulders, behind the neck, and so forth. Sideways figure-eight patterns are often employed. It can be fun to experiment with this, using your imagination.

Some breast bondage fans place heavy rubber bands around the base of the breasts as a basic form of breast bondage. I have heard of no problems resulting from this if done in moderation and, on the right woman, it looks hot.

You mean that you really can’t get out of that?

Genital Bondage

Bondage is about physical control. The idea of controlling someone else’s genitals, or of having your genitals under someone else’s control, is powerfully attractive to many people. When you add that the genitals can be bound in ways to enhance sexual pleasure, you have definite interest.

Many dominants believe that once they have bound their submissive male’s arms and legs, they should immediately turn their attention to his genitals. Some dominants begin their bondage there.

Binding the genitals can have a powerful effect on both dominant and the submissive. Besides the sense of control thus established, the submissive has the benefit of the sensations created by having their genitals bound. The physical sensations associated with this may be intensely pleasurable. (In some men these sensations may be enough to either cause or bring them very close to orgasm.)

The psychological effects of having your genitals controlled by another person can be profound. Our genitals are perhaps the most intimate, private parts of our bodies. Having them under another’s control puts us in an extremely submissive, vulnerable position.

Binding the female genitals.
Binding the female genitals usually covers them or exposes them. One simple method involves taking a 24-foot rope and placing its midpoint on her belly just above her hipbones. Wind the ends around her waist (a total of two coils) and tie in a surgeon’s knot. Make sure the coils can’t slip down over her hipbones by pulling on the rope until you’ve made them narrower. This leaves two free ends, each about six feet long. Order her to spread her legs (not too far, you don’t want her to lose her balance), then run the ends up between her legs and cheeks.

Run the ropes between her labia so they pass over her clitoris. Pass the free ends together under her waist coils in back, then again run them between her legs and up the front of her body. If you wish, you can run these ropes outside her labia, thus pinching them slightly between the ropes. (Be careful the ropes don’t pull on her pubic hair.)

Remember, you’re going to have to untie them sooner or later.

Bring the two free ends up to the front of her waist, pass them up under the waist coil - one end on either side of the surgeon’s knot. Then run the ends under the first two coils, bring them out the opposite side, and knot them together. She can look down and see the knots.

Obviously, this seals her vagina and rectum. Intercourse would be essentially impossible, so this is a “bondage chastity belt.” On the other hand, anything
already
inside her vagina and/or rectum - vibrators, dildoes, butt plugs, ben-wa balls, and so forth - will be held fairly securely. One experienced lady noted that a vibrator could be externally applied to these ropes to good effect.

A second method of binding the female genitals, sometimes found arousing by the wearer, is to loop one end of a 24-foot rope around her waist and then position the end of the loop (where the knot is) above one hip. Run the rope down between her legs and out the other side, bringing it back up and across the crest of her hip bone and back down again. You can run the rope back up to the hip on the same side, or run it across to the opposite-side hip. Continue in a figure-eight pattern until you run out of rope, then knot it. This tie has the same advantages and disadvantages as the first.

A third, extremely interesting, method of tying the female genitals is to fold a 12-foot rope in half. Place the midpoint on her lower belly, just above her pubic hair. (She may have to help hold this loop in place.) Run the free ends back between her cheeks, then run one end over the top of each hipbone and back to the loop. Thread the two free ends through the loop, preferably in the inside-to-outside direction.

Here’s the interesting part: Pull the free ends back up to her hipbones. This pull (be careful not to catch her pubic hair) spreads her outer labia up and away from each other, thus exposing her clitoris. As the woman who taught me this technique said, “That gets her attention.” Finish the tie by bringing the free ends back up to her waist, around to her front, and tying them together there. With this tie, intercourse is difficult (but not impossible), and inserted objects are not secure, but the exposed clitoris raises exciting possibilities.

I want to see you naked and tied up.

Binding the male genitals.
Asubmissive male’s genitals cry out for bondage. I mean, come on, they’re just hanging out there, undisciplined, out of control, a menace to navigation. Clearly something must be done at once.

Many dominants, especially dominant women, find the sight of unbound male genitals offensive. On the other hand, they delight in the sight of a securely bound cock and tightly wrapped balls.

As with most bondage, before you tie a submissive male’s genitals you should have some idea of what you want to do after they’re bound.

Basic questions: Do you still want him capable of erection? Intercourse? Ejaculation? If you want him “functional,” here are some approaches.

Standard-sized rope usually works adequately. It’s cumbersome for some aspects, but can do the job. As an alternative, many people use thinner material.

Black leather bootlaces have a big following. The sight of a cock and balls securely bound in a black leather bootlace arouses many people. Such laces are cheap, readily available, and can be “innocently” bought at local stores.

Plastic wrap can also be used very effectively for genital bondage.

If you simply want decoration, wind and knot off a few coils between his cock and his balls, thus slightly constricting his upper scrotum.

If you want him to feel more sensation, wind additional coils until the rope lightly squeezes his testicles within his scrotum.

Another way to add sensation is to wrap a few coils around the top of his scrotum, then join the free ends and run them from back to front, thus separating his testicles. One way to join the free ends is to twist them together at the back of his scrotum, and continue winding as you bring them to the front. At the front, separate the ends and wind them in opposite directions around the top of the scrotum, then knot them together (usually at the top-front of the scrotum, just under his penis).

The above ties are decorative and add sensation, but don’t involve his cock. It’s still capable of erection and ejaculation.

Binding his cock.
Most cock bondage is a variant on the cock ring, so let me explain that device. A cock ring is a metal ring about 1½” in diameter. To apply it, first slip one testicle, then the other, then the (limp) penis through the ring so it encircles all of his genitals.

When his penis becomes erect, blood flows into it. A cock ring somewhat constricts the veins that allow blood to drain from the penis, thus keeping it erect more firmly and longer that it otherwise would. Also, and perhaps even more important from the dominant’s view, applying a cock ring, or similar material, usually locks the skin along the shaft of the penis in place. This prevents it from moving as it usually does during intercourse, masturbation, or fellatio. Therefore, simulating such movements - such as by using a well-lubricated hand - produces a unique, very pleasurable, and almost unbearably intense sensation.

One drawback is that this ring will constrict, to a degree, the tube his sperm must pass through (his urethra) as he ejaculates. This may make his orgasm somewhat painful.

If you bind his cock so tightly that his urethra completely shuts, and he is brought to orgasm, he probably will have a “retrograde ejaculation.” Such an orgasm diverts his semen back into his bladder. This is usually not damaging if only done occasionally, but I wouldn’t make a steady practice of it.

A quick, easy way to apply male genital bondage is to use a leather “cock strap.” This is a strip of leather about ¼” wide by 6” long. It usually has two or three snaps on its inside and sometimes has studs on its outside. Such a strap is often worn as a bracelet, especially by gay men and both male and female “punk rockers.”

The cock strap can be quickly snapped into place above a man’s cock and balls. The different snaps allow tightness adjustment. (Some strap fans carry a second one to apply between the penis and testicles.)

Coils of rope, leather, or chain can be attached to a leash, thus providing a convenient, persuasive method of leading a male slave. This leash is even more persuasive if applied only around the top of the scrotum.

Safety note: Be careful about tying the genitals to any heavy or immovable object. For example, I once read an article that recommended keeping a male submissive stationary by tying rope around his scrotum, then attaching it to a doorknob, leaving only about a foot of slack. Obviously, if this submissive stumbles or falls he almost certainly will suffer severe, permanent injury to his testicles. This technique, therefore, is unacceptably dangerous.

An excellent method of basic male genital bondage is as follows: You will need two ropes, each six feet long. Place the midpoint of the first rope on his belly just above his hips, then wind both ends around his waist. Pull until the coils are narrower than his hipbones, then tie off.

I know they may not look like it, but this collar and these ropes arc implements of love.

Place the second rope’s midpoint on top of his penis at its base. Wind two loops around his cock and balls, being careful to keep the coils side-by-side, not overlapping. That finished, run the free ends down between his legs, through his cheeks, and up to the rear of the waist rope. Separate the two ends and run them in opposite directions under the rope running from his genitals. This will give you two free, opposing ends. Knot them together, and you’re done.

This genital bondage produces an intense cock-ring effect. Combining it with scrotal bondage can be powerful. The rope will hold the skin covering his cock firmly in place, making it exquisitely sensitive to touch.

Breast and genital bondage are some of the most intense aspects of SM. Responsible players recognize both the dangers and the opportunities.

The Hogtie Position

Ye Gods, is “hogtie” ever an inelegant word! I prefer, as do many others, the more genteel french term of “craupadine.” (I’ve seen buttons that read “I’d rather be in craupadine.” These can be fun to wear in public.) Variations on this position are seen fairly frequently during SM play, so I’m going to discuss some of them.

The basic hogtie.
The basic position is simple: The submissive is made to lie face down, then their wrists are tied behind their back and their ankles are tied together. The ankles are then pulled up toward their wrists and a rope is run from the wrists to the ankles, lashing them together. This is a highly restraining position (probably too much so for first bondage) and provides good access to the front of the submissive’s body.
