• Darning needle for weaving in ends of yarn when your project is completed

• Can be completed in any gauge, just be sure to match your crochet hook with the recommended size on your yarn

Instructions:

Use your darning needle to weave the beginning tail and the ending tail into the project.  Make as many snowflakes as you like.

Blocking and stiffening:

Your snowflake is likely looking less like a snowflake and more like an octopus or a spider.  To get it flat and stiff, follow these instructions:

• Mix white glue and water 50/50 in a shallow dish
  
• Dip your snowflake into the glue mixture and soak for a minute
  
• Squeeze out any excess glue and flatten out on a piece of cardboard or a blocking board
  
• Sprinkle with glitter, if you like
  
• Use pins to secure the centre of the snowflake and all 6 sections of the snowflake so that it lies flat on the cardboard
  
• Let dry and remove
