“Like I’d die without you.
You’re my oxygen—the soul I never had.” He said before pressing his lips to hers as he pulled her delicate body into his.
Attie let her moans escape her lips because he’d done it. He’d proclaimed his feelings for her out loud. It made her feel better to know that she wasn’t the only one a victim of their feelings. After all who was she to deny him? She was forbidden to do exactly what she was doing and with a demon none the less.
“Promise me you won’t hurt me again like before.” She replied pushing him back a bit.
“I promise I won’t lie to you anymore.” He said slamming his lips against hers and getting lost in her.
This whole thing was new to him. He’d never had feelings of love and want as much as he did now. Wrapping his arms around her tiny waist, he pulled her in and felt whole. This was all that mattered at the moment. Her and only her. Lifting her into both arms, he carried her to the king sized bed and laid her down.
“Lucien—”
“Sssh Princess.” He said crawling on top of her and kissing her lips.
There was no way he was letting doubt ruin this moment. He was sure she had a ton
, the way that he did, but he had to have her. Even if it was only once. Breaking his celibacy for her seemed right. Unraveling her shirt, he sat mesmerized as her supple breast laid bare. Taking the left one in his hand, he kissed her nipple and she moaned loudly as she fell back onto the bed. That was it. That was what he wanted. Flicking his tongue over her now erect nipple had caused her to grip the bed sheets. Kissing her chest, he trailed down to her belly button and unbuttoned her sexy skin tight leather pants. Drinking her in, he caressed her smooth ebony skin while he started to remove them.
Easing them off, she
stared down at him as he tossed them aside only to kiss her thighs. Looking up at her beauty, he knew she deserved better than him. But he sure was gonna make love to her like no one else ever could. Removing his shirt, he sighed deeply because he hated bearing his scars. He chuckled a bit because he was much more human than he should’ve been. Being self-conscious definitely wasn’t a demon trait.
“What?” she asked as he removed his pants.
“Nothing” was gonna be his first response, but he realized he promised he’d never lie to her again. That was all he could offer and he planned on living up to that until tomorrow.
“I’m worried about how you see me.” He said truthfully and that rocked her to the core.
“You? Mr. Badass Demon?” she smiled pulling him on top of her and stroked his scars.
“You think I’m badass even though you
’re “tired of saving my sorry ass?” he teased throwing her words back at her.
“Sorry I said that, I was just angry. But to be fair you seem to only get hurt when you’re
tryna save me. Which I think is very honorable.” She said kissing him passionately.
“I’d battle Death himself for you.”
He said sucking in a breath; feeling years of restriction dissolve. “I want you to be mines forever.” He said seriously.
This was the most vulnerable he’d ever been and he was willing to do it a million times more, all for her.
Only for her. Fear ate him because he knew once they’d intertwined sexually there would be no going back. He was afraid that he’d fall so deep in love that it would be agony to try and leave her. Hell, who was he kidding? He already felt that way. He dreaded the next day, but right now that didn’t matter. She laid her hand over his heart and for the first time it seemed to really beat. She made him want to be a better demon—if that were even possible.
“About that—” she started, but he shook his head.
“No more talking. I want you so badly.” He said removing her panties and caressing her thighs again.
She withered beneath him
and arched into him indicating that she wanted more. Slowly gliding his hand up, he gently placed a finger inside of her already wet center. She gasped in both pleasure and pain as he looked her in the eyes. He could see the fear still laced there, but there was also something else.
Desire.
She wanted him just as badly as he wanted her. Moving slowly, he felt how tight she was. She kissed his chest and laid back as he stroked his finger in and out. Looking down, she saw his bulge and reached for it. It was long and hard and she had absolutely no idea what to do with it. He let out a groan the minute she grabbed hold of it.
“You don’t have to do that.” He said huskily placing his hand on hers.
“I want to.” She insisted. “I just—don’t know what I’m supposed to do with it.” She whispered with a laugh and he smiled.
She really was that innocent. Gently wrapping his hand around hers, he slowly
moved her hand up and downward. Shivers ran down his spine as he grew weak. He’d never had that reaction. Not even for his first time. She caught on quickly as he removed his hand and gently placed his finger back inside of her. She was still so soft, tight, wet and warm. The perfect combination.
“I’m gonna slide another finger in.” he warned and she shook her head.
“I want you inside of me now.” She begged still stroking him gently.
“It’ll make it easier for you to take me if I—”
“I want
you
. Now.” She demanded.
A smile teased his lips because he loved how demanding she was. He loved the fact that she could be the best of both worlds. Delicate yet take charge.
And she did have a point. There was no time to take it slow because there was no telling when Hazel and the pretty boy would be back.
“Yes Princess.” He replied removing his finger and grabbing himself.
Knowing that this was her first time, he was gonna make it as gentle as he could. Pushing lightly, he entered her slowly as she let out a gasp. She scratched his back as he pushed deeper and felt her wet walls clinging to him. He groaned in pleasure as she adjusted to him.
“Is this ok?” he whispered breathy as pleasure rocked him. The moment she nodded, he didn’t waste time.
Gliding slowly, he kissed her tenderly, yet passionately. To be chest to chest—skin to skin with her had been a reward in its own right. Oh how he had dreamed of this moment.
Literally.
Grabbing her hips, she ground against him as she moaned his name. In turn, he pushed deeper, faster. He just had to have all of her. Sliding into her, he whimpered from pleasure before moaning her name. In that instant he knew he was hers. Not knowing where he began and she ended. She grabbed his hand and tangled their fingers together. Looking into her eyes, he brought her fingers up to his mouth and kissed them gently. Pushing deep, he growled and that sent a tremor through her body. Panting heavily, he thrusted faster as he wrapped her left leg around his waist. Closing his eyes, he got lost in her. He could feel her tightening on him and knew she was about to explode.
“Cum for me Princess.”
He growled in her ear.
“Drink me.” She ordered.
For a second it threw him off, but he obliged. Biting into her, her sweet blood flowed into his mouth, filling him and he felt—high. And that was enough to set her off. She screamed loudly as he continued to stroke inside of her hard and deep. Grasping him in her arms, she tore into his back again as she quivered beneath him. Feeling like he was about to erupt, he clenched her tight as her legs trembled. Sucking harder and drawing more blood, he felt like he was drifting into another space.
Opening his eyes, Lucien felt dazed.
Scanning his environment, he saw that he was in the… clouds? Walking, he realized that he was in spirit form. Searching his surroundings, he spotted what could only be described as an angel. It gasped when it saw him and scurried away.
What the hell was going on?!
Sucking in a breath, he grew light headed and drifted back down as everything grew dark again. Opening his eyes once more, he saw that he was in a room with Dante. Dante was standing at his balcony window staring out at the rest of Hell.
“No. I still had time.”
Lucien muttered.
Dante spun around dazed. He had obviously been startled by Lucien’s presence.
“How did you get in here?” Dante sneered scanning the room.
Everything in
his solitary space had still been just as it was supposed to be. Lucien had gotten into his sacred space with no effort. It was if he’d just appeared.
“You tell me.” Lucien sneered.
Dante walked up to Lucien and circled him.
“I didn’t summon you yet.” He said clearly and truthfully.
Lucien could tell by his reply that he was being straightforward. He was just as baffled as he was. Thinking, Lucien couldn’t seem to understand it. If Dante hadn’t pulled him to Hell than what had?
Attie.
Was his glimpse of Heaven real?
Had to be. That had been an angel he’d saw. But how? So many questions swirled in his head as
“
Your Angel.” Dante said sighing deeply and Lucien’s eyes flickered to him in rage.
“If you touch her—”
“You’ll what?” Dante said amused.
Swallowing hard Lucien stared him dead in the eyes.
“I’ll stop at nothing to kill you.” He snapped knowing that Dante had been in fact stronger than him and he wouldn’t be easy to kill.
“Your mother had that type of spunk.” He chuckled.
“My mother? You knew my mother?” Lucien asked baffled. Dante never brought her up unless he wanted to piss him off. Especially throwing the fact that she left him behind. In training it proved to be a useful tool and an unhealable sore spot.
“Yeah, I knew her.” He replied looking away as if he got caught up in deep thought.
“Your angel will die if you stay with her.” Dante warned, but Lucien already knew that.
Hazel had let him in on the little conversation they’d had. She told him that very same information but the weird thing was he’d told her to remind him of it. That was the reason he’d tried to push her away, but there was no doing that anymore. Not until he had to go back to Hell.
“How do you know that?
” Lucien grumbled.
“The Fates.”
Dante simply replied. “Your time is up.”
“I had until tomorrow. You can’t just go back on your word!” Lucien shouted irate.
There was no way he was letting Dante execute his brother.
“Things have changed. I’ve learned new information.” Dante replied.
“My brother is possessed.” Lucien tried to bargain, hoping what Athena had said was true and not just blurted out because of spite.
“I know.” Dante
grumbled irritably.
Relieved that it had been the truth, Lucien sighed inwardly. Whatever was in his brother was gonna pay dearly for putting him through hell.
“So then that means you’re—not gonna kill him right?” Lucien said hesitantly, hoping Dante would be lenient.
“I can’t let him live.” Dante said it as if the news hurt him to say, which didn’t make sense because he was heartless.
“You can! It’s up to you; you’re the one hunting him!”
Lucien barked.
“This is bigger than me!” Dante shouted as his eyes ignited on fire.
“Fine, send me back. I’ll bring him in myself.” Lucien replied frustrated.
Dante shook his head refusing.
“Why?! What’s changed so much?!” Lucien shouted confused.
“You don’t know who you’re up against.” Dante warned.
“Doesn’t matter. You trained me to kill
anything
. I’ll just have to tap into that side of me.” Lucien said.
He was willing to anything to save his brother. He’d get the thing out of Dezmon
“I won’t risk you.” Dante said through clenched teeth.
“Risk me?! How am I all a sudden so damn important?!”
“I won’t risk my son!!” Dante shouted turning and looking at him.
Lucien’s heart dropped as he stumbled back. There must’ve been some kind of mistake. Surely he’d heard wrong.
“Son?” he said breathlessly.
“I won’t lose you.” Dante reassured turning away.
