In a tone that carried with it curiosity and concern, the secretary replied, “Thank you, Ms. Amberson.”

The call was transferred, and Lydia was endlessly grateful to be thinking about business matters.

Lydia had told Caleb and Nick that she’d meet them at The Cattleman’s Paradise. Using her cell phone, she’d explained that it would look better if they drove separately and didn’t all arrive at the same time.

“This hiding my love for you two,” she said over the phone, openly declaring an honest emotion she still had difficulty admitting aloud, “is slowly but steadily driving me out of my mind. I just thought the two of you should know that.”

She arrived at The Cattleman’s Paradise fifteen minutes later than scheduled, of course, because she wanted to make an entrance, and she didn’t give a damn if that signified that she had an ego. It simply wouldn’t do to be early and have her men know just exactly how desperately she wanted to be with them, how desperate she was for their touch and hungry for their taste, how willing she was to give them everything, do anything, to satisfy them sexually and in any other way they wanted.

“Gentlemen, your guest has arrived,” Candice said, holding a stack of menus. With a motion of her hand, she indicated that Lydia was to sit in the southwest booth, opposite Nick and Caleb. When Lydia slid into the bench seat, Candice put a menu in front of her. “The gentlemen have ordered a beer and a whiskey on the rocks. Is there anything the lady would like?”

Lydia looked up at Candice, smiled, and replied, “An orgasm. Perhaps several.”

Candice reacted as though she’d just been asked for an iced tea. She replied, “You’ll have to discuss that matter with your gentlemen.” She started to step away, then came back to the table. Looking only at Lydia, she said, “If you require a lookout, someone to assist you in your wishes, please don’t hesitate to ask.” She smiled coyly, and a blush stole up her throat. “My man loves me very much. It’s the least I can do for”—she hesitated, obviously struggling for precisely the right word—“a confidante.”

“I can see why”—Lydia almost said “my brother” but changed her mind—“he loves you so much.”

Candice smiled brightly and walked away.

Nick said, “Do you want to tell me just what the hell that conversation was all about?”

Lydia looked at him, feigned innocence shining in her eyes. “As a matter of fact, no, I do not wish to inform you on what it was all about.” She lifted her foot, sliding it along the inside of his left calf. “But don’t worry, this is going to be a memorable afternoon for you.”

When her foot got to the top of his thigh, Nick caught it and pushed it back to the floor.

“What the hell are you doing?” His tone was stern, rebuking, but the undercurrent said clearly that he was open to suggestion.

“Having lunch,” Lydia replied, eyes wide with an ostentatious innocence that neither of the men in the booth with her believed. She looked straight into his eyes and smiled benignly. “What does it look like I’m doing?”

If those two think they’re the only people in this ménage who can play fuck-with-your-mind games, they’re so flippin’ wrong they won’t know it until their heads spin right off their shoulders!

Steaks were ordered, and though the conversation outwardly seemed mundane, the sexual tension was heavy in the air and permeated the senses.

“Tomorrow I’ve got to fly to Winnipeg. I’ll be taking the corporate jet.” Lydia kept her voice low enough so that only her men could hear. With a slender, raised eyebrow, she asked with an undisguised double entendre, “Would you like to come?”

Both men smiled and nodded.

“F. Scott Fitzgerald was right when he wrote about having privacy at big parties, and having none at small ones. In New Oslo, with so few people, everyone knows what everyone else is doing. There’s a lovely hotel in Winnipeg called The Grand. I’ve got a lunch meeting with railroad executives that’ll last about two hours. After that, my time is my own. I’ve booked the executive suite for Thursday.”

Candice stepped up to the booth with a faintly conspiratorial glint in her eye. “Can I use you as guinea pigs? I’ve got a new dessert special think you might like.”

“Yes, please,” Lydia replied quickly. She knew that Nick and Caleb were meat-and-potatoes men who preferred heartier fare than chocolaty desserts. “That would be lovely.”

After Candice had walked away, Nick leaned over the table, looking directly into Lydia’s eyes. “What is going through that beautiful head of yours? And please don’t lie to me by saying ‘nothing.’”

Feigning affront, Lydia replied, “You are a suspicious man, and I must say, I don’t find it flattering in the least.”

Candice returned to the booth quickly, balancing three plates, each with a stainless steel cover over it.

“Here you go,” she said, putting the dishes on the table. “I hope it meets your, um, satisfaction.”

Lydia removed the cover to reveal a slice of chocolate mousse. When the men did the same, they found each had been given a small, plastic bottle of Astroglide personal lubricant.

“I thought those might be useful for all of us,” Lydia said innocently as she brought a forkful of chocolate mousse to her mouth.

“Then Candice knows about us?” Caleb asked.

“A necessity, I’m afraid. But don’t worry. She won’t tell a soul.”

Nick asked, “How can you be so sure?”

“During the Cold War with the old Soviet Union, there was something known as ‘Mutually Assured Destruction.’ Even if you put aside the growing personal friendship I have with Candice, what we know about each other is enough to get each of us run out of town on a rail. She won’t talk. Trust me.”

Lydia got out of the taxicab in front of The Grand. She hardly looked at the stately, old building, despite her having an innate appreciation of aesthetically pleasing architecture. The doorman, seeing her hurrying up the marble steps, opened the door for her.

“Thank you,” she said, hurrying past him.

She went straight to the elevators and nearly broke a well-manicured nail when she thumbed, much more energetically than necessary, the button for the car. By the time it descended to the lobby, there were two middle-aged businessmen in subdued suits with loud neckties waiting with Lydia. She touched the button for the top floor, and as the car ascended, did everything she could to ignore the fact that the men were rather openly ogling her. When the men got off the elevator, Lydia sighed and was happy to have the car to herself for the final leg of her journey to ecstasy.

Lydia resisted the urge to take the compact out of her purse to check her makeup. She had touched up her mascara and lipstick in the taxi only a few minutes earlier.

Nerves. That’s all it is. My flippin’ makeup’s fine.

She got out of the elevator and was digging in her purse for her key card when the door to the finest suite of rooms at The Grand opened, and Nick and Caleb stepped out into the hallway. Nick wore a black suit tailored to perfection. Caleb was in jeans and cowboy boots with a corduroy jacket, and a wide black belt with an ornately engraved silver belt buckle nearly the size of saucer for a coffee cup.

“Sorry I’m late,” she said, hurrying to her men. As she walked, she felt the movement of her breasts inside her bra, and she was glad that she’d chosen for the day her prettiest and least-restrictive lingerie. She knew her men appreciated it when she wore pretty underwear. “Those railroad executives could talk a lady’s ear off.”

Lydia’s stride hesitated a moment. She intended on giving them both kisses hot enough to start a fire, but she wasn’t at all certain how the person who got kissed second would take it.

These are not insecure men. Stop worrying about everything.

Since Caleb was a fraction closer than Nick, she chose him, pressing her breasts against his thickly-muscled chest as she wound her arms around his neck. When his mouth sealed over hers, Lydia felt herself, quite literally, begin to swoon. She kissed him for a full thirty seconds, and by the time she turned toward Nick, she could feel that her nipples had pebbled and her sex had started to get dewy with honey.

“I am so ready for this evening,” Lydia said as she melted into Nick’s arms.

She parted her lips invitingly, and immediately received his tongue. She felt his hands slide inside her summer-weight jacket, moving around to her back. Through the barrier of her blouse the palms were broad and warm, the fingers long and splayed. Even though she was in the doorway and could still be seen from the hall, Lydia knew that if Nick gave her the slightest indication he wanted her on her knees, she’d be on them instantly. After all, it wouldn’t be the first time she lewdly pleasured her men while a stranger watched.

To make up for kissing him second, Lydia kissed Nick longer but with equal ardency. When his hands slipped from the middle of her back downward until he cupped the cheeks of her ass, he pulled her in tightly, forcing her to feel the rising column of hard flesh that she knew would soon be buried inside her, providing for her the ecstasy she craved. She felt her pussy clench in anticipation, a palpable response to the pleasure she knew was soon to follow.

“Inside,” Nick said, and Lydia was pleased that his face was slightly flushed with passion, his breathing quicker now. “We’ve got something special planned for you.”

“As long as it involves the king-sized bed and the three of us, I’m all for it.”

But Lydia was shocked when she saw that the lounging area of the two-room suite had a round dining table and three chairs arranged, with the cloth, dishes, and silverware already in place. She had thought her men, lusty barbarians that they could be, would by this time be tearing at her clothes and ravaging her. Instead, Caleb guided her to the table and pulled out a chair for her, and Nick went to the hotel phone on the desk and picked it up. This setup suggested a night of heartfelt, gentle lovemaking…which wasn’t what Lydia had hoped for.

“Food?” Lydia asked, unable to understand why that big, beautiful bed in the adjoining room wasn’t an immediate part of her future. “But I thought…”

The words died on her lips as she took her chair. She had figured the Astroglide hint would suffice for what she wanted, but apparently not.

Nick returned to the table and took his chair. “I thought we’d start with drinks.”

“Drinks? Food? Seriously?” The only things Lydia was looking forward to tasting were Nick and Caleb.

The libation cart arrived, but it was delivered through the side door that connected the suite to the room next to it, not the front door that led out to the hallway. When Lydia saw her “waiters,” her jaw literally dropped open.

The liquor was brought in on a wheeled cart, and the young men delivering the libations were the young Englishmen working as interns for Caleb. They were all slender, attractive…and, except for wearing black bowties, completely naked.

“Oh, my,” Lydia breathed softly. The young men were lovely to look at, their bodies slim and almost hairless, especially compared to Nick, who had plenty of chest hair. It took a bit of attention, but Lydia could see that they’d shaved off their pubic hair. “I’m guessing that I owe these three some attention, and that you two expect me to provide it.”

“I believe you’ve been introduced to Heath, Ian, and Sebastian at the office,” Nick said. As he gave their names, the young gentlemen nodded in turn. “You see, Caleb and I are concerned that at thirty-five, you’re quite concerned with getting old. Since Caleb and I love you very much, and since we want you to be happy, we thought you’d enjoy some adventures, little entertainments that we can provide.”

“Temporary entertainments, of course,” Caleb added. “For permanent pleasure, you’ve got Nick and myself. These boys—I shouldn’t call them that. Heath is twenty-two, and the other two are twenty-one—so they’re men by any reasonable standard. They’ve all achieved their bachelor’s degree in the spring. In the fall, they’ll be returning to London to work on their master’s.”

“So until then,” Nick said, the timbre of his voice colored now with amusement and desire, “Caleb and I thought you might find them entertaining. With our approval, of course.”

Lydia shook her head, and with a hand that trembled slightly, smoothed an errant curl behind her ear. “I…I don’t think I can do that.” It was difficult to look away from the young men. “I want you. The two of you are all I need.”

“We’re not talking about needs here,” Nick explained, “we’re talking about wants. And you
do
want them. I can see it in your eyes.”

He reached over the table and placed his hand over hers, giving it a squeeze. “Keep an open mind. Life’s supposed to be fun, and adding some young blood—”

“Very young blood,” Lydia injected.

“—might be just what a woman who thinks thirty-five is old needs to adjust her thinking.”

Heath cleared his throat, drawing Lydia’s attention. She found it highly disconcerting that he was so young and so attractive. His cock wasn’t up to the new standards Lydia had, but she wasn’t disappointed, especially since he was slowly but steadily growing erect.

“On the schedule for this evening,” Heath said in a formal tone, as though he wasn’t naked except for a bowtie, “is drinks of your choice, to begin with. After that, steak and lobster has been requested, along with mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli with butter and garlic.” He looked down at Lydia and she found it almost impossible to only look at his face, and not at his slim body. “Will that be acceptable, Ms. Amberson?”

“Lovely,” Lydia said after a couple seconds of awkward silence. Her gaze drifted down to an erection that was now angled sharply upward. Ambiguously, she added, “Yes. Quite lovely.”

The next twenty minutes were some of the strangest of Lydia’s life. The men, Nick and Caleb, were cordial and charming, discussing the day’s activities and inquiring why a lunch with a client should take nearly five hours. Caleb had two bottles of beer, and Nick had two scotches. Lydia chose to have red wine. The boys—and that’s how she now saw the young gentlemen—were straight-faced and attentive as waiters. They were a pleasure to look at, especially when all three of them sprouted fierce erections.
