“They have to do that!”
“Gran yes.  For the taste of the lamb.”
“Please do not go in to such gory detail.”  Victoria chuckled.
“Hey Dad did a job today.  He rewired a whole building.”
“Heavens!”
“Gran.  Would you like a word with Dad?”
“Yes please.  And put me off the walkie talkie thing.”
“Speaker phone Gran.  Hold on a sec.”  Victoria handed the phone to David.

“Hi Mom.”
“Still there?”
“And we will be here for the week.  I don’t have anything lined up for the week.  I had scheduled to do a job but I will be doing that on Friday evening.  Mom we are coming through on Friday.  Can you ask Dad if he can lend me a hand?”
“Friday evening?”
“Yes.”
“Dad is nodding so yes.  He can help.”
“Thanks.  Not so sure what we are going to be doing.  But we are all coming through.  We need a baby sitter for Nicola and Victoria.”  They both groaned as he spoke.

David grinned.
“And then we will probably stay on Saturday.”
“Shopping.”
“Amanda says she is going to do a spot of shopping.  So we will see you on Friday.”
“Sounds good.  Are you keeping your wits about you?  Not forgetting things?”
“No.  I am aware.”
“You sound happy.”
“I am.  We are.”
“You will have to explain the sudden income to afford the Varsity fees.”
“Yes we will explain.”
“Good!  Now have a super week.  Love to all.”
“Thanks Mom.  To you too.”  David cut the call and handed the phone back to Victoria.

“Love to all.”  Amanda chuckled.
“Plenty of questions there.”  David nodded and smiled.
“I will explain everything over the weekend.  But not over the phone.”  Amanda smiled and nodded.
“So we will be sleeping at your house on Friday then?”
“I think that would be nice.”  Nicola nodded.
“Remember I am part of the gang.  Don’t go shipping me out to strangers.”  David chuckled.
“We won’t ship you out.  But I think Amanda would like to do some shopping on Saturday.”  Amanda nodded.
“Well while you are busy we can take Mom and your Mom with us and go and get all the goodies that we need.”
“Hoorah!”
“And then they will be wrapped and be put under the tree.”
“No need.  We won’t even touch the things.”
“We shall see.”

CHAPTER 1
4

It was Friday.  David flew in to the house.
“Sorry!”  Amanda chuckled as he walked in.
“Job done?”
“Yes all done.  I have a cottage to build next week.  Wiring, the works.”
“Excellent.”  He chuckled as he kissed Amanda.
“Let me run up there and have a shower and grab my things.”
“Don’t rush.  There is plenty of time.  I got a call from your mother.”
“What did she say?”
“Nicola and Victoria are going to the movies with Sydney.”
“And they are going where?”
“That is the bit she didn’t mention.”  David roared with laughter.
“Oh I can only imagine!”  David chuckled as he flew up the stairs to have a quick shower and change.  He flew down the stairs.

David walked in to the kitchen.  He walked in to the lounge and roared with laughter.  They all sat with their feet up cracking nuts and
eating them.  Amanda smiled.
“Are you ready Mister MacGuire?”
“I am.”  They all got up and took their overnight bag and walked out.
“Dad do you have your overnight bag?”
“Got it.”
“Car keys?”
“Yes.”
“House keys.”
“Got them.”
“Tool box.”
“In the van.”  Amanda pulled the door closed.  She walked back inside and fetched her handbag.  They all chuckled.

David drove over to his house and they offloaded all their bags.  Claire, Mary and Sydney drove up in Sydney’s
van.  Tom and Don pulled up in Tom’s van.  They all stared.
“How come they are all together?”  Amanda grinned.
“That was the weird bit.  Your Mom phoned to tell me my brother is taking Nicola and Victoria to the movies.”
“The movies!”  Victoria and Nicola were like a chorus.
“Oh didn’t I say?”  David grinned.

David kissed Amanda and she hopped in the van.  Claire and Mary joined her.  David took his toolbox.
“Not going to work.”  They hopped out of the van and climbed in to Tom’s van and Amanda drove off.  They all went in their different directions.

Amanda smiled as she drove.
“Now don’t go into a complete spasm or get a hernia.  The both of you.”  Mary grinned.
“I have asked David and Victoria to move in with me.  We are dating and we are serious.  No we are not sleeping together.  They each have their own bedroom.  As for the University.  I am paying for both Nicola and Victoria.  Because I can afford it.  That is my choice.  If something turns sour.  And it will not.  David can always go back to his house.  He is going to rent it out.  He is going to sell off the furniture that he does not want and need.  Any questions?”  Claire and Mary stared at Amanda.
“Ask now or forever hold your peace.”  They both roared with laughter.

“David is being kept extremely busy.  He has had a job to do every single day.  The more he does the more the folk get to know him.  He is doing very well.  Nicola and Victoria have been kept very busy this week.  And Victoria has mastered the art of riding a horse.  So the family is settling in nicely.  Nicola and Victoria get on like a house on fire.  There are no little spats or arguments.  They are kept too busy to think about an argument.  And they are worked to a frazzle and normally pass out nice and early.  Questions?”

Claire grinned.
“Do I sense wedding bells?”
“David and I are still getting to know each other.  If he asked me to marry him tomorrow I would say yes.”  Mary smiled and nodded.
“Is he pulling his weight in the house?”
“No weight to pull.  I have a housekeeper which makes it much easier for all of us.  But yes he does pull his weight.  Last weekend he made our supper which was divine.  He works extremely hard and makes sure he is there for supper.  He keeps the girls in check.  So yes.  He does his bit.”

Claire smiled and nodded.  Amanda chuckled.
“And we are here.  See you much later.  I sing for a while.  Then have my break.  Then go on for the second set.  When I break I vanish.  Don’t be alarmed Mary.  I do this for fun.  And it brings in a little more cash.  Enjoy the evening and no picking up men.”  They roared with laughter as they hopped out of the van.  Amanda walked through and dressed for her session.

Mary stared as Amanda came on the stage.
“Claire are you sure that is your daughter?”
“She was really good in the choir.”  Mary giggled.
“I wish I had shorts like those.”
“And those heels.  I love that wig.”  They both chuckled as they sipped at their drinks and watched Amanda.

David grinned
as he chatted away to Tom while he worked.  Don was chatting away to Mister Wood.  They finished the job just before midnight.  David packed everything away.  He smiled as he was handed an envelope of cash.
“I meant to do the transfer.  I hope you don’t mind cash.”  David smiled.
“I prefer cash.”  He smiled as he walked out.  He phoned Amanda.
“We are at your folks.”
“On our way.  We actually finished the job.”
“Excellent!  See you in a few minutes.”

David chuckled
as he drove.
“Okay.  I know you have questions.  I am moving in with Amanda.  Victoria and I.  We have our own rooms.  If it doesn’t work out then we move back home.  I will be renting my place out.  Don I am going to marry your daughter.  May I have your blessing?”
“Ab so bloody lutely!”  Tom roared with laughter.
“We get on very well.  So far.  The girls get on well.  They behave and don’t step out of line.  When Amanda says no they know it means no.  And I much prefer the ranch.”

Don smiled and looked at David.
“You haven’t slept together yet?”
“Uhm.  No.”
“What the hell are you waiting for?”  David grinned.
“Yes son.  Now that you should be working on.”
“We have the girls.”
“Who go to bed nice and early.”  David chuckled as he drove.
“Is there something wrong with your tool David?”  David grinned.
“No.  The tool is fine.”  Tom and Don both nodded.  David had to change the subject very fast.
“Thank you for helping me out tonight.”  Don smiled.
“Well I was the moral support.  We had such a good old chat.”  David smiled and nodded.
“He shipped the family out for the night.”
“Because his wife interferes.  A proper busy body.  And she likes things done in her time.  But I am glad I was able to do the whole thing.  We are free tomorrow.  I think Amanda wants to do a little shopping.”
“Well it is nice to have everyone here for a change.  Also nice that we know Don and Claire.  We never really got to chat though.  Parents meetings and functions are like that though.  Kind of a meet and greet.”  David nodded and smiled.  His parents were always at every function.  He had their support.

They pulled up to the house.  Victoria and Nicola bounced out of the house.
“You will never guess what we saw!”  David grinned.
“Do you realize you should be tucked up in bed!”  Victoria grinned.
“Dad we saw the new sci-fi.  The one that has just been released.”
“Oh you lucky fish!”  Nicola chuckled.  They all walked inside.  David walked up to Amanda and kissed her.
“And how was your session?”
“Very good.  I had a ball.”  David smiled and looked at Mary.
“And we had a fantastic evening out.  We even tried a little shooter.”
“Mom!”
“Only one.  But we sipped it.  It was a lovely end to the evening.”  David smiled and nodded.
“And how did you three manage?”
“We finished the job.  I need to pay my boys.”  Don roared with laughter.
“We are not taking any money.  It was a wonderful night out.”  Tom nodded.
“I was the spanner boy.”  Amanda chuckled.
“Sydney left ten minutes ago.  Olive was out on a sewing course.  She ran very late.  But the way she spoke on the phone she had a marvelous time.”  Mary chuckled.
“Penny does love her sewing as well.”

David smiled.
“Right folks.  We are heading home.  What are the plans for tomorrow?”
“Amanda has the schedule.”  David chuckled and nodded.  Everyone piled in to the van.  They waved as they drove off.  Victoria and Nicola chatted about the movie.  Amanda smiled and looked at David.  He took her hand in his.  She smiled as they pulled up to the house.
“Right ladies.  Straight to bed.  Otherwise we will not be able to get up in the morning.”  They both chuckled as they walked through to Victoria’s bedroom.  They changed in to their pajamas.
“Nicola I am putting you in the spare room.  Single beds I am afraid.”  Amanda smiled as the girls got settled.  She nipped in to the shower and washed all the make-up from her face.  She put her pajamas on and came out of the bathroom.

David walked down the passage with a pillow and a duvet.
“David what are you doing?”  He turned and smiled.
“I will sleep on the couch.”
“You will do no such thing.  We will share.”
“Are you absolutely sure?”
“Of course.”  He nodded and walked back to the bedroom and put his pillow on the bed.  He put the duvet back in the cupboard.
“Now go and have your shower.  Would you like a cup of coffee?”  David walked over to Amanda and pulled her in to his arms.
“Yes please.”  He looked down and kissed Amanda.
“I told my Dad.  And your Dad.  And they are quite happy with our move.”
“And I told Mom and your Mom and they are rather excited.  And about the studies.  So there will be no questions asked.”  David smiled as he looked at Amanda.
“I had a lot of questions.”
“About accommodation?”  David grinned and nodded.
“Men!”  David roared with laughter and nodded.

“Quick shower.  We are all meeting up for breakfast.  Then the ladies will go one way and buy all the linen and things for the girls.  If you don’t mind.  How much do you know about laptops?”
“I am educated.  Admire them.  So I am in the know.”
“Good.  Because you are going to be doing the selecting tomorrow.  They have to be the top of the range.  They each need two memory sticks and whatever else.  Can you do that?”
“I can make the selection.”
“Good.”  David smiled as Amanda walked down the passage.  He quickly hopped in to the shower and then put his shorts on.

He hopped straight in to bed.  Amanda came through with the coffee.
“The photograph in the lounge.  Is that Victoria’s mother?”
“No I don’t have any photographs of her.”
“So who is that then?”  David hopped out of bed.
“Show me.”  Amanda walked through to the lounge.
“That one.”
“Oh heavens no.  That is my cousin.  She moved to Australia with her husband and two sons.  That was the day they were leaving.”
“Phew.”  David pulled Amanda in to his arms.
“Amanda I don’t have a photograph of her.  Not even one.  I didn’t particularly like her to be honest with you.  When you are young you do stupid things.  And that was the stupidest thing I have ever done in my life.  I have never thought about her.  I never missed her.  She has never taken an interest in Victoria.  In my books you need to earn my respect.  How can I respect someone like that?”  Amanda smiled as David hugged her.
“You are the one I love.  You came in to my life in a way that no one would ever believe.  The moment I saw you.  I knew.  My heart is yours.”

“Oh David.  When I saw you sitting down.
My heart went out to you.  I was drawn.  Oh I had to concentrate on breathing.  Something made me get up and walk on to that stage.  For the kids.  And for you.”
“I am glad you did.”
“And what an evening of fun it was.”
“I almost messed it up.  But I had to tell you.  I wanted you to know so that you understood.  Who I was.”
“And I love who you are.”
“I love you Amanda.”  He took her in to his arms.  Amanda hopped in to bed.  Amanda lay in his arm.
“I often wondered what it would be like.”
“What?”
“To lie in your arms.  In a bed.”  David chuckled.
“We do like to fall asleep on that couch.”  Amanda chuckled and nodded.

They both closed their eyes and went to sleep.  David woke up at three in the morning.  He felt Amanda’s body right up and close.  He almost groaned to himself as his erection g
rew harder and harder.  He tried to move away from Amanda.  She stirred and opened her eyes and turned around.
“David?”
“I have a slight problem.”  She ran her hand down his stomach.  He held her hand flat on his stomach.  Amanda smiled and loosened her hand and trailed it all the way down.  David almost let out a little groan as she took his rock hard shaft in to her hand.  She looked up at David and he started to kiss her.
“David.”
“You are in danger Amanda.”
“I want to be in danger.”
“I want to make love to you.”
“I want you to.”  David looked at Amanda and she smiled.
“Final answer?”
“Yes.”

He rolled over Amanda and slowly eased himself inside her body.  Amanda clung on to David.  He
held her in his arms.  He didn’t say anything.  He just held her.  He lifted up and Amanda moved her arms and pulled David down for a kiss.  He took possession of her mouth.  He slowly started to move.  Amanda moved with him.  It was a slow joining of two bodies.  Amanda rolled him over and started to make love to David.  He held her hips as she moved faster and faster.  He felt her whole body shudder as she had an orgasm.  He rolled her over and thrust in to her over and over again.  He called her name over and over again.  Amanda turned David over and made love to him.  The more he called her name the faster she moved.  He held her hips and thrust in to her.  His head went back and he felt the surge as he climaxed and ejaculated deep inside her body.  Amanda felt the way that his body was reacting.  She slowed down a little but kept moving until she slumped over his body.  David held her in his arms.
“Amanda that was beautiful.”
“David that was amazing.  You are amazing.  I wanted that this whole week.”  David smiled and held her.
“You should have said.”
“It was worth waiting for.  When we get home I don’t want you to move in to the spare room.  I want more of this.”
“Amanda will you marry me?”
“Yes.”  David smiled and looked at Amanda.  She gurgled with laughter.
“Yes!”  He hugged and kissed her.
