The window went up so fast Jim almost fell
through the screen. It hadn’t been stuck at all. It slid up so easily Jim could
have opened it with his pinky finger. He lost his balance and Len had to wrap
his arms around Jim’s waist to keep him from falling.

Len held him tighter and said, “Wow, I guess
that wasn’t stuck after all. Silly me.”

When Jim felt Len’s erection poking his ass,
he turned sideways and climbed out from under Len’s arms. He moved without
stopping, terrified to glance back at the half naked man, toward the bedroom
door. “I’ll be going now, Mr. Mayfield. I think it’s time for me to leave. This
is highly inappropriate behavior. Why your pants are ready to fall down, Mr.
Mayfield. I knew you were trying to do this. I was right all along.”

“Don’t you want to help me get into bed, Jim,”
Len said. “I was going to ask you to help me take off my shoes. My back has
been bothering me lately and it’s painful when I bend down. Then you can tuck
me in.”

Jim stopped at the door. He turned and
smiled. “I’d rather not. I don’t think it’s a good idea.”

Len’s eyebrows furrowed; he set his hands on
his slim hips. “Jim you’re acting like a child now. You’re a grown man. It’s
not like I’m trying to force you into anything. You could have left a long time
ago. I’ve noticed how you can’t stop looking at me. You’ve been undressing me
with your eyes since you saw me at your party.”

Jim frowned. He had been undressing him with
his eyes. He didn’t think Len had noticed. He walked back to the bed and looked
into Len’s eyes. “I’ll help you with your shoes, but then I’m leaving, Mr.
Mayfield.”

Len sat down and spread his legs. When he
did this, Jim went down on his knees and untied Len’s black leather shoes. He
removed them slowly and set them next to the nightstand. When he was finished,
Len ran his palm across the top of Jim’s head and asked, “Would you please
remove my socks, too?”

This was the first time Jim had ever
undressed a man. Even though he felt awkward about doing this with his best
friend’s dad, he had to admit that his penis was growing and he felt a strange
sensation pass through his body. He wanted to help Len get undressed; he wanted
to hold Len’s feet in his hands for a moment. Every part of a man’s body had a
sensual appeal to Jim. So he slowly removed Len’s beige socks and placed them
inside his shoes.

Len went back against the mattress and
lifted his legs. “Would you help me take off my pants now? Just tug a few times
and they’ll come off.”

This was a line Jim wasn’t ready to cross…no
matter how much he wanted to do it. He stood up and headed toward the bedroom
door again. As he prepared to leave the room, Len stood up and said, “You can’t
live the rest of your life in fear, Jim. Trust me, I know you better than you know
yourself. I see a lot of myself in you when I was your age. If I could go back,
I’d do things very differently.”

Jim stopped at the foot of the bed. “I’m not
afraid of anything, Mr. Mayfield. It’s late. I’m going home.”

Len’s tone softened. He smiled and cast Jim
a warm glance. “If you’re not afraid then I don’t understand why you’re so
eager to go home. I’m only getting undressed for bed. We’re both guys. Guys get
undressed in front of each other all the time in locker rooms.”

Jim swallowed. “It doesn’t look right.” He
knew Len was twisting things around again; he was good at doing this.

“I don’t think you’ve ever been this close
to a naked man before.”

“Of course I have,” Jim said. He was so
confused now he wasn’t sure what he was saying. His dick was almost fully erect.
If he hadn’t been wearing tight briefs it would have been tenting through his
slacks. He stepped closer to Len and said, “How would it look if Cain or Mrs.
Mayfield came home? Just picture that, Mr. Mayfield. I can just see the looks on
their faces if they found us together like this. We’re doing a very dirty thing
here, Mr. Mayfield.”

Len smiled. He unzipped his chinos, pulled
them down, and stepped out of them. He was completely nude now. He hadn’t been
wearing underwear. He was fully erect and poking forward without a hint of
shame.

When Jim saw his dick, he covered his eyes
and turned around fast. “Oh my God, Mr. Mayfield. Put your pants on right now! I
can see your penis! You’re not wearing underwear and you have an erection. This
just isn’t right.”

“I
never wear underwear,” Len said. “Haven’t you ever seen another man’s erection
before? Come here and take a closer look.”

“This is wrong,” Jim said. “And you’re old
enough to be my dad, for God’s sake. What would people think? Mr. Mayfield, you
need to put your penis away this minute.”

“I’m starting to think you don’t find me
attractive, Jim. You’re making me feel bad now.”

Jim had removed his hand from his eyes, but
he still refused to turn around. “Of course you’re attractive, Mr. Mayfield.
You’re one of the best looking men I’ve ever seen. But we could get into
trouble for this. Your wife would get the wrong idea. Think about the
consequences.”

“My wife is out blowing her tennis
instructor,” Len said. “And I’m tired of worrying about consequences. I’ve
worried about consequences all my life. My wife and I have talked about this
and we have an arrangement. I told her the truth about me years ago and she’s
very content. That’s why I’m not concerned about her spending the night with
her tennis instructor.”

It dawned on Jim that Len Mayfield was gay
and he’d always been gay. He’d heard about open marriages like this before. He
knew there were plenty of married men who lived double lives. “You know what I
think, Mr. Mayfield. I think you should get into bed and cover yourself up
right now. Your penis is very distracting.”

“Don’t you like it, Jim?”

“Of course I like it.”

“You know what I think?” Len asked.

“What?”

“I think you should change your name to
V
.”

“V?”

“V for walking Viagra,” Len said. “Because
that’s what you are. You’re so adorable and so handsome you’re like a walking,
talking Viagra pill. I haven’t been this hard in years. It’s really all your
fault.”

“Oh, Mr. Mayfield,” Jim said. “You’re really
crossing the line now. You knew all along what you were doing. You’ve been
trying to seduce me since I walked into the house.” He started for the door
again and this time he wasn’t going to stop. “I’m going home now, Mr. Mayfield.
This just isn’t something I can do.”

When he reached the bottom of the stairs,
Len called out his named and said, “Would you please bring up my cell phone. I
left it on the table next to where you’re standing. I don’t want to go
downstairs without clothes and I like to have my cell phone with me at night.”

Jim looked up. When he saw the way Len
Mayfield was standing at the top of the stairs with his erection in his right
hand he gulped. Though he was so terrified he found it hard to speak, Len had
the perfect body. He even had perfect legs. Jim found himself torn between
running up the steps and burying his face between Len’s legs and running down
the front walk with his hands in the air screaming for help.

Len jacked his dick a few times and turned
to the left. When he was out of sight, he said, “I’m in the bathroom. Could you
please bring the phone upstairs for me? I hate to be so much trouble. But I
feel funny walking around naked down there.”

Interesting. Len Mayfield didn’t feel funny
walking around naked in front of his son’s childhood friend, jacking his dick,
squeezing his nuts. “Ah well, Mr. Mayfield. I’ll just leave it on the stairs
and go home now. Even though nothing had happened, this entire situation could
be misconstrued. People would get the wrong idea if they found us alone in an
empty house and you walking around that way.” He started to ramble and repeat
himself. His voice began to crack.

“Oh knock it off, Jim,” Len said. His voice
came from the bathroom. He sounded as if he were scolding Jim. “Just bring the
damn phone up and stop being so dramatic. I’m tired of playing games. You’re a man
now. Start acting like one.”

When he put it that way, Jim went up to the
top step and set the phone on the hall floor. “I’m leaving it on the floor. I’m
going home now. I’ll see you later.” His voice cracked again. He wasn’t sure if
he was terrified of the seduction or more terrified about his feelings for his
best friend’s dad. His mother’s loving face flashed before his eyes. If Helen
Darling knew her son was even thinking about sucking Len Mayfield’s dick it
would kill her. And when he thought about how his father would react if he knew
Jim wanted to tea-bag Len Mayfield’s balls and never release them, he would
keel over and drop dead on the spot. And what would his best friend think? If
Cain knew that Jim wanted to suck his father’s cock, he would probably kick the
shit out of him and toss him out a window.

“I’m getting tired of this, Jim,” Len said.
He was still in the bathroom. “Bring me the goddamn phone and stop acting like
a fool.”

Jim closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
He went up to the top step and said, “I’m in the hallway now. Where should I
leave the phone?”

Len shouted from the bathroom. “Just leave
it in Cain’s bedroom where we were a few minutes ago.”

“Okay.” He took a deep breath and wiped a
bead of sweat from his brow. He’d been worried Len would ask him to bring it
into the bathroom.

As he entered Cain’s bedroom, he walked
toward the bed and set the phone down on the nightstand. When he turned, he saw
the door had been closed and naked Len Mayfield was standing in front of it. Jim
clutched his chest with both hands and moaned out loud. “I want to go home now.
Get away from the door.”

Len spoke over him. “Let’s not play games. I’m
not moving. Jim, I can see you are not like most guys. I know what you want and
I know what you need. I’m just letting you know that you can have it whenever
you need it. I’d love to give it to you. You can phone me at any time and I’ll
be there. I think you’re the most adorable man I’ve ever met and I’m actually
shocked at myself right now. I can’t believe I’m doing this. But I’ve missed
out on a lot in life and I don’t want to miss out anymore. I don’t want you to
miss out either.”

“Ah well,” Jim said. He couldn’t take his
eyes off Len’s erection. He wanted it. He wanted to fall on his knees, wrap his
lips around the head, and suck until he tasted Len’s pre-come. But it was
wrong. This was his best friend’s father and one of his father’s best friends.
“Please let me go home now. I just want to leave. You’re making me very
nervous.”

“Don’t fight it, Jim,” Len said. “Don’t do
what I did when I was your age. I know what you want and I know how to take
care of you. I know you like to be dominated. I feel it in my bones.”

Jim almost choked. “Oh my God, this is
getting insane. I want to leave.” While Jim said this, he wondered how Len
could have read him so well. Whenever Jim imagined himself with another man, Jim
was the submissive bottom and the man he was with was always the aggressive
top. Jim had never once masturbated to the fantasy of fucking a guy. It was
always a guy fucking him.

Len continued to talk over him. “I know how
to spread your pretty legs and open you up. I’ll help you and guide you each
step of the way. I’m here for anything you need and you don’t have to worry.
I’ll never pressure you or force you to do anything you don’t want. In case
you’re worried, I have condoms. But I don’t sleep around. I haven’t been with a
man in so long I can’t even remember the last time. I’m absolutely disease
free.”

A car screeched to a halt outside and
someone climbed out. When Jim heard the car door slam, he said, “She’s home,
Mr. Mayfield. She’s not going to stay out all night with the tennis instructor.
What are we going to do now?”

Len stepped away from the door and Jim
dashed out of the room. He ran down the steps, into the family room, and
grabbed the half-finished martini he’d left on the bar. He took a few deep breaths
and concentrated on lowering his heart rate. It was beating so hard by then he
had a feeling his chest was moving. When he sat down on a stool next to the
bar, he noticed his hands shaking. He shoved them under his legs and let his
jaw relax. He’d once read that it was impossible to be nervous with a relaxed
jaw.

A minute later, the front door opened and a
voice rang out. “Did I see little Jim Darling’s car outside? Where is that boy?”

Jim took a quick breath and said, “Yes, Mrs.
Mayfield. It’s me, Jim. I’m back here. Mr. Mayfield asked for a ride home and I
gave it to him. I only drove him home and nothing else happened. We just got
here.” He jumped off the barstool and faced the front hall.

Mrs. Mayfield hung her bag in the hall
closet and set her car keys on the table.

“Mr. Mayfield is upstairs,” Jim said,
forcing his voice to remain calm. Of all the things he’d imagined would happen
after graduation, he never thought he’d wind up in a situation like this, and
not with a married man he’d known all his life. “I’ve been sitting down here
all alone waiting for him.”

When Mrs. Mayfield walked back she hugged
him and said, “You seem a little nervous, Jim. Are you okay?”

Jim forced a smile. “I’m fine, Mrs.
Mayfield. I’ve never been better. You have a nice home. Have I ever told you
that? I really like your home so much.” He figured if he changed the subject
she wouldn’t notice anything peculiar and he could get out of there unscathed.

She smiled and walked to the bar. “Thank
you, Jim. You’re a sweet boy. You always have been. Why don’t you sit down and
have a drink with me. You look like you could use someone to talk to.”

“I should be going,” Jim said. “I’m okay.
I’m just worried about what I’m going to do with the rest of my life. I’m
honestly not sure.” If he started speaking about his life and how confused he
was he figured she would let him go without pushing him into anything too deep.
She might even feel sorry for him and leave him alone.
