What
does
a
girl
who
has
everything
want
for
graduation?
Absolutely
nothing,
except
to
be
left
the
hell
alone
as
far
as
Mye
Queen
was
concerned.
Things
had
been
super
silly
crazy
over
the
past
months
to
say
the
least.
Just
when
Queen
finally
got
a
handle
on
her
GPA
her
ex-boyfriend,
Paul
was
killed,
defending
her
honor.
To
say
that
the
last
thing
on
her
mind
was
graduation
and
her
GPA
would
be
a
gross
understatement.
Her
dreams
of
graduation
and
Medical
School
were
quickly
fading
into
obscurity
and
frankly,
she
didn

t
really
give
a
damn.

Mye
Queen,
what
do
you
plan
to
do
about
your
grades?

Logic
asked
Queen
as
he
noticed
her
books
piled
in
the
same
place
they

d
been
over
the
past
six
or
so
weeks.

I
don

t
know.
Let

s
see,
I
have
the
option
of
going
back
to
class
and
failing,
or
staying
home
and
failing.
So,
what
is
the
point?
Anyway,
I
don

t
think
I
can
go
back
on
that
campus,
ever,
ever,
ever
again.

Have
you
even
talked
to
any
of
your
professors
about
making
up
the
time
you

ve
missed?

Queen
shot
Logic
a

Nigga
please,

look.

My
bad...
I
forgot
that
by
some
miracle

you
just
recently
returned
to
the
land
of
the
clinically
sane.
Well
at
any
rate,
I
think
you
should
call
Dr.
Baxter
and
get
a
medical
release.
Then
contact
your
professors
so
you
can
make
up
your
coursework.
If
not,
I

m
afraid
that
you

re
going
to
flunk
out
this
semester
and
you
won

t
be
able
to
graduate.
Worst
case
scenario
you

ll
get
an
Incomplete
instead
of
just
taking
an
F
for
the
semester.

I

m
not
really
into
it
right
now,
Logic.
I

ll
deal
with
it
later.

Queen
nonchalantly
replied
as
she
channel
surfed,
aimlessly
changing
channels
on
the
big
screen
plasma
TV
every
ten
seconds.

Too
bad!
It
has
to
be
done
before
it

s
too
late.

Logic
declared
as
he
picks
up
his
cell
from
the
coffee
table
and
quickly
scrolls
through
his
long
list
of
contacts
before
placing
a
call.

Good
afternoon,
Dr.
Baxter

s
office.
This
is
Jeannette
speaking.

Hi
Jeanette,
this
is
Logic
Hart.
I
need
to
make
an
appointment
for
my
fiancé

Mye
Queen
to
see
Dr.
Baxter
as
soon
as
possible.

Is
everything
all
right
Mr.
Hart?
Has
Miss
Queen
gotten
worse?

No

actually
she

s
a
whole
lot
better.
We
just
need
a
doctor

s
release
for
her
to
return
to
her
studies.
It

s
her
senior
year
and
…”

I
understand
perfectly.
Jeanette
interrupted.
Look
the
earliest
I
can
get
her
in
to
see
Dr.
Baxter
is
Monday
two
weeks
from
today.
But
I
can
get
Dr.
Baxter
to
write
her
a
letter
for
school.
You
can
pick
it
up
tomorrow
and
she
can
return
to
class
on
Monday.

That

s
great.
I

ll
see
you
tomorrow
afternoon.

Queen
looked
at
Logic
and
rolled
her
eyes.

I

m
not
going
back
to
that
shrink.
There

s
nothing
wrong
with
me.

Apparently
nothing
that
Teddy

s
dick
can

t
cure.

Logic
sarcastically
mumbled
beneath
his
breath.

What
did
you
say?

I
said
you
don

t
have
to.
I

m
picking
up
a
note
for
your
professors
tomorrow.

He
back
peddled.

Logic
was
well
aware
what
probably
went
down
between
Queen
and
Teddy
at
his
ranch
that
weekend
although
he
didn

t
have
any
real
proof.
Well,
except
that
Queen
was
one
step
from
being
certifiable
before
he
left
for
Miami
and
now
she
was
almost
completely
normal.
Almost
that
is,
she
still
was
a
little
over
sexed
and
very
indifferent.
But
that
wasn

t
anything
that
he
couldn

t
handle.
