“Oh yes please that sounds, like fun.” At that moment our lips
still locked, Karen and her lot walked in. Oh a result as the
voices in my head were now throwing a ticker tape
parade.

“We have an audience Sam.” My eyes pointed at the door, as
they kept to the other side of the room, I was so happy here with
him and her looking in.

“Do you want to go Michelle, because we can scoot of somewhere
else?” He held my knee tightly.

“No I’m going to be fine, just kiss me please.”

“My pleasure as if I need any asking.” He began rubbing my
knee and thigh, wow I’m in heaven, as usual at the hands of Sam.
Our tongues danced again. Burgers finished, well between kisses
they were.

“Are we going to the pictures then or what?” I nodded. We
still had an audience, getting up to leave he hugged me so tightly.
I think mainly for the benefit of the group which included Karen.
That felt so good and still holding my hand we passed them. I
couldn’t just ignore her however Sam beat me to it and bid her
farewell. I just smiled and waved my hand at her.

“See you Kazza.” I had him and he was mine, we walked out hand
in hand, into the afternoon sunshine…

“Thanks for that, I’m, sure she is throwing daggers. Quick
check, see if there, are any hanging in my back.” He laughed and
put his arm around my waist brought me round to his lips, the kiss
sent those feelings raging through my entire body again from toe to
head. That moment was the best ever, he had shown the whole world,
well her at least, that he wanted to be with me and that we were an
item. We walked arms around waist to the pictures, tonight was a
special showing of Greece and Saturday Night Fever, and I
absolutely loved those films. It was mushyness at its best. This
however would be the first time with a boyfriend, and what a date
to bring, if he could and would sit through a girl film.

“It’s up to you, if you don’t fancy it, I know they’re a girl
films, but I’m okay with doing whatever and it doesn’t start for an
hour or so what do we do until then?” He looked at me with eyes
that you could easily fall in love with, and I had,
deeply…

This is what you do on dates right? You take your girl to the
pictures, you get them dinner, though I would have preferred a
classier place for our first date than a burger bar, sheisk she is
so not what I expected, but then again I didn’t know what to
expect? I do know going to the cinema is to show me off! I’m not
stupid I know having never having had a boyfriend she wants to show
me off to her friends, she smiled as I asked her again, and it was
then I realised that’s what it meant to her, she wanted validation
that I wanted to be with her and boy did I want to be there for
her, so what if I have to share her for a few hours, it’s what she
wants…

“It’s up to you, Mi cielo, whatever you want to do we can do?”
Looking at his face, I wanted him to say yes of course I want to go
with you, but why would he want to sit with a very large group of
friends who in the main were fine, they all at some time or another
had taken a date to watch either or both films I was the only one
who never had, I was forever the wallflower looking at them and
their dates through envious eyes.

“Why don’t we go in there for quiet drink, on our own, talk,
and umm some more kisses and wait and see who turns up?” He didn’t
argue just held open the door. Ben was still at the bar, but
someone else had joined him, Sam waved at the new bloke and I sat
in the same spot as before, the new bloke came across.

“Michelle, this is our Andy. Andy, Michelle.” He looked a
little like Sam, but slightly taller, and obviously older, he
looked more like Sam than Jimmy did.

“Pleased to meet you, what do you see in this ugly git then?”
He gave Sam a playful punch to the shoulder and sat at my
side.

“Oh, I see a lot, thanks for asking.” Sam went for
drinks.

“So are you ok being in here? It’s just you look a little
uncomfortable, it’s not a bad watering hole?” I was uncomfortable
how had he guessed? Perhaps the sitting on my hands like the kids
outside the headmaster’s office, gave him a small clue?

“No, well yes actually, it’s only my second time in a pub, the
first time earlier and wondering if this was a pub Dad drinks in.”
He grabbed my knee.

“Don’t worry, you look fine and besides I’m a regular and well
you’ll be all right.” He too was well mannered and nice, what
happened to Jimmy then?

“So you’re the Michelle that has my brothers at war then?” He
smiled as he said it but I just blushed.

“Apparently so, but I have never encouraged Jimmy at all, he’s
just someone in went to school with and is in some of my classes at
college and an idiot who for some reason, threw his self out of a
window to impress someone. Sam, well he never knew we were one in
the same girl, has to be said, I’m shocked he even likes me, he
could be going out with anyone and he picked me, have to wonder
why?” I looked over at Sam and he is watching and
smiling.

“You have him totally hooked, I thought Jimmy had it bad for
you, Sam can’t believe you want to be with him, and for him to
bring you to meet Mum is so not like him at all. She thinks you’re
wonderful by the way and would love to see you again.”

“Thanks for that. Oh your friend was in earlier and a little
worse for wear. Zoë I think Sam said she was called?” His face
looked so sad.

“Was she with anyone?”

“No, she came across to talk to Sam, who told her to go home
and sleep it off because she was drunk and had been crying from the
look of her eyes.” He looked so ashen and so very
unhappy.

“Are you all right? I’m sorry I didn’t mean to upset you.” He
put his head on my shoulder and began to cry, I’m confused as to
what’s going on? “You okay Andy? I’m sure things aren’t that bad,
is it the Zoë thing what’s making you so unhappy? I’m no expert but
your upset and she’s drinking to forget. Are you sure you can’t
work stuff out between you, because it seems your both unhappy
without each other?” What did I know about such things I’d only had
Sam in my life for days, so hardly the person to give advice?
People asked me about all sorts of crap, all the time.

Sam returned to see me cradling his big brothers head and him
crying on my shoulder, I shrugged my shoulders upwards, Sam help
please.

“Are you okay, Andy, what’s this in aid of then?” He was very
apologetic, looked at me, got up and put his hand on Sam’s
back.

“Thanks Michelle I’m going to sort this out, your right. You
chose well our kid, she’s great.” He walked out the pub.

“What did you say to him?”

“Nothing, I just told him Zoë was in here and that she was
drunk, and did he not think him being so unhappy and her drinking
herself stupid was something that they both needed to discuss at
some point. Obviously he did, and he’s going to sort it.” He sat at
the side of me.

“I’ve been telling him that for weeks, funny he doesn’t listen
to me, but you say something and he goes running. I’m sure he’ll be
fine, drink up. What do you want to do stay in here or pictures?
I’m easy it’s up to you.” He had his hand around my waist as his
fingers were stroking the skin above my waistband. We sat and
talked for a while, his fingers locked with mine, he has a thing
for curling a strand of my hair round his finger too, Grandad does
that when I sit at his feet on Sundays, it’s so nice.

We had another drink and he asked again. Not sure if this is
his sort of film, but I just really wanted to show him off, I had a
hunk of a fella in love with me, and I wanted them all to know he
was mine, all mine.

“I’d like to go if that’s okay? Though I don’t know which of
my lot are coming. Tasha, she well mentioned it on Friday, as we
walked home from college it’s a double bill of both of my favourite
films, but I’d said I didn’t want to go not just to be a spare
wheel, so will you take me?” His hand grabbed my side, pulling me
into him.

At last she actually tells me what she wants, I knew but I
wanted her to make the decision, she needs to know she can and I
won’t railroad her into things, I smiled and pulled her towards me,
now I have to face the friends, only fair she had to face some of
mine…

“Not a problem drink, your drink and we’ll go.” He stared down
at me and kissed my lips gently. “I was after all, promised a
snogging session on the back row, was I not?” I blushed.

“I think I may have said something along those lines.” We
walked out of the pub and right into my best friends. All of whom
turned towards me and had watched me coming out of a pub with a
fella. “Well we’ve made our entrance Sam.” He actually laughed he
spun me around under his arm, twice. Good dance move.

“Now take a bow.” So being a complete idiot, I did. We joined
my friends in the queue.

“What you doing in there, Michelle?” Tasha asked.

“I sorry we, we’re just killing time until this place opened.
It’s just a pub, it is allowed and I am eighteen.”

“You ever going to introduce us then?” Kelly P shouted
out.

“Everyone this is Sam, Sam these are my friends, that’s Kelly,
this is my best friend Tasha, with her Danny, that is another
Kelly.” I named most, if not all the bunch. Too many for him to
take in really, but the girls all pushed forward to see him, yes
happy dance. I kiss him just to let them know I can, so immature I
know, but they did it to me enough! I say thank you as he looks at
me.

“Pleased to meet, you all.” Tasha was mouthing wow behind
Sam’s back and he got a thumbs up. Kelly the wasp was ogling and
the lads looked like idiots in their T-Bird jackets and hairstyles
to match, will they ever grow up? It has to be said though our
entire group of girls had the Sandy outfit’s tight black pants,
pink jacket, black top and killer shoes mine were brand new and
red, but Daddy wouldn’t allow me to wear them, they are too slutty,
so as yet still in the box unworn. We were at the front of the
queue. Funny that none of the lads wanted to argue, he had his arms
wrapped around my waist and was kissing my neck.

I knew these friends were the main reason that I’m here, she
looks so happy for me granting such a small request, I get to see
my reward, it’s something simple and pure. What is my reward? Just
that look of happiness stretching across her face, her eyes sparkle
and that smile wow. The kiss I got after I was introduced was a
nice bonus too. The lads are idiots and the girls are giggling at
her show of affection, umm she certainly needs more kisses and as I
look into her eyes she mouths thank you…

“Sorry about all this, it wasn’t exactly what you wanted for a
night out, me and my group of friends was it?” He was too busy
kissing, and nipping at my neck.

“Erg what friends, I thought it was just you and me?” I lifted
my head and kissed him right back again in front of everyone. There
were, sniggers from the group. I turned around and they got my best
sod-off-or-I kill-you look. We were inside on the back row, tucked
up nice and cosy in the corner.

“So when do we get to the snogging part? I think that’s what I
was promised was it not, Michelle?”

“I think I can oblige you a little with that one.” He smiled
and with that smile he could melt ice, I leant towards his mouth
and kissed him, his tongue slipped between my lips and then bam
those strange feelings were a rising, his kiss is so soft, I wanted
more, much more. He this time had to say it…

Yes baby, oh God yes her kisses have us both aroused and as I
feel the tent being pitched and she is helping bloody action man
erect it. Fuck anywhere else and without that frizzy haired gawking
I may have let her continue…

“There’s a time and a place for that and it’s not here. Your
hands got a mind all of its own.” I looked down and hadn’t
realised. I had my hand on his bits.

“Shit… Sorry, I didn’t realise that’s what I was doing.” He
kissed me again.

“I’m not complaining at all, it’s just your mate is enjoying
the show.” I looked down and Kelly P was looking back and catching
them there flies. I kicked the back of her chair. Sam
laughed.

“Turn around Kelly, the films that way.” Had to be said didn’t
see much of the film, I was sang to though, have to say hopelessly
devoted to you, is a nice song to have sung to you. “You fella it
has to be said, are quite hard to keep entertained, with an
audience watching.”

“Well, no audience next time.” He whispered into my ear,
whilst nibbling my lobe and kissing my neck.

“Oh, that’s a must.” Pictures finished and goodbyes to the
rest said. We only part watched the films and I didn’t mind one
bit, I was hopelessly devoted to my man and those kisses. I had to
get home, the last week of college before holidays. Sam had me in a
tight grip.

Hell we can’t spend the day together tomorrow, this weekend
has gone so quickly and so well, when did I get so lucky? I don’t
want to leave her yet, I don’t like leaving her. Oh hell I have it
bad, why has she got me hooked, well stupid question having been
kissed and fooled around with her, but before it was a mystery, umm
thank you Guardian Angel, whoever you are…
