“Is it over?” Retta asked. Retta knew the whole scheme. Truth is, I knew Dollah has been fucking Paris’ trifling ass since day one. I’ve never seen what she looked like.
But I’m going to meet her one of these days. I had already seen the text messages from way back when they started their fling. Dollah is very superstitious and always has his security with him. I needed a way to get him by himself. And he’ll never turn down pussy especially mine.

“Yeah, that bitch called twice too,” I said as she helped me we wrapped the covers around his body. We dragged Dollah’s body under the bed. No one would notice the body until a few days later.

“You should have capped her ass, too,” She suggested.

“How, if I don’t know what she looks like?” I asked ignorantly.
The fucking dumbness I’m dealing with today.

“Oh yeah!” she laughed. I forgot,” she joked

“Where is Kassidy?” I asked.

“She’s down the hall,” Retta said.

“Let me go get her while you clean this up,” I ordered and she accepted it. I left out the room and went down the hall. I went outside to the balcony and there were Kassidy and C-Roc smoking weed.

“Where is Vicious?” I asked her.

“I don’t know,” She said shrugging her shoulders. Kassidy was so high I don’t think she understood what I had asked her. Let me try Roc.
He looks like he got some sense still.

“Roc, where is Vicious?” I asked him

“The last time I saw her, she was going to the bathroom,” He answered.

“Alright, thanks,” I turned around and went towards the bathroom. As I walked back past the room, Retta came out.

“Where are you about to go?” she said closing the door behind her.

“I’m trying to find Vicious. Roc told me she was headed towards the bathroom,” I told her.

“I’m going to roll with you,” She said walking with me. I nodded.

When we got to the bathroom, we saw Vicious fighting a girl. I thought she could not fight and had just mouth.
I thought wrong. She has boxing game. Okay,
Vicious was beating this girl's ass.
Damn.
All we saw was blood running down from her face.

“Damn, Chanelle, Vicious is fucking her up,” Retta said. We stood there for about five minutes and watched Vicious fuck her up.
It was like watching a boxing match.
Rumors must have gone around about the fight, because more girls began coming into the bathroom. Out of nowhere, some girls busted in from the middle of the crowd and pulled Vicious off the girl, but Vicious was still pulling the girl hair and punching her. Finally, Vicious let go, after a couple of more hits.

“Kiyah, how did you let this dumb bitch beat you up?” the girl asked her. Her voice sounded familiar.
But it wasn’t registering yet.

“I didn’t know she can fight,” The girl Kiyah had blood pouring from out her mouth. It looked like a water fountain just with blood. “Didn’t you say you want me to whip Kassidy’s ass?” Kiyah asked.
Wait, pause. Did she just say my sister’s name?

“Yeah, but you were fighting the wrong girl. That wasn’t Kassidy,” The girl with the familiar voice said trying to help her.
I feel like it was time for me to step in and figure out who has a problem with my sister.

“Whoever has a problem with Kassidy can step up,” Retta spoke quickly. Both of the girls turned around.
I know this girl. It was Tonya’s smut ass.
I should have known she had something to do with this. This is like her MO. I saw Kiyah’s face. I should let Vicious finish her off, just off the strength. I don’t like that smut ass bitch.

“Whhhaaat?” Kiyah said.
I know she heard what Retta said. The bitch wants to play dumb.

“Whoever has a problem with Kassidy can step right here,” I repeated for Retta.

“I do,” Tonya said.

“You roach looking bitch. So you send one of your little friends who doesn’t have hands, no box game to do your work? Now I see why you don’t come outside, you’re so fucking ugly. If you have a problem with my sister bitch, come to me?  Come to me and watch me drag your ass all over this fucking place. Why don’t you fucking die,” I said.  Everyone started to make noise.
See what separates me from some of these girls out here. I say what I mean and I do what I say. If I say I’m going to fuck you up, a bitch better watch out because I am really going to fuck her up. And I’m not playing.
Let me get the fuck out of here, she don’t want my work. I took Vicious by her hand and Retta followed as we left the bathroom.

“Are you alright?” I asked Vicious.

“Yeah, I’m good. She was looking at me sideways ever since we came in here,” Vicious said.

“Chanelle, Tonya was sending Kiyah to fight Kassidy? What would she want with Kassidy?” Retta asked. That is a good question.

“That’s what I am about to find out,” I said. After we found Kassidy, we had to find Essence next.

“Where is Essence?” I questioned.

“I saw her leaving a while ago,” Kassidy answered.

“Fuck her, we’re out,” I said as we walked toward my car.

I thought it would be a good idea to question Kassidy later on. I am going to give her some time to get her thoughts together, because I know she heard about what happened.  We went to Tha Philly Ridahs Headquarters.
By the end of the night, I’m going to question her ass.
I didn’t fret about ignorance from Kassidy. She shows me respect. Our mother was never really around and I’m all Kassidy has. And if Kassidy wants to continue to live the good life she is living currently, she better tell me what is going on.  I never laid a finger on her, I never had to. She would always listen.
Now, she’s a little grown and getting a couple of dollars.
I hope her respect for me is still in place.
Hmm

Chapter 5

Kareema

Once we arrived where Tori was, there were cops,

ambulances, and firefighters.

“What happened now?” I questioned myself. I pulled up in front of the house as close as I could. With the cops and the ambulances, the closest I got was across the street. I got out and went in. I spotted Tori sitting on the steps crying.

“Tori, what happened?” I asked her. When Tori looked up at me, her face was draining with tears. “They killed her,” she stuttered and cried at the same time.
Who killed who?

“Who, Tori? Who got killed?” I asked sitting on the step next to where she was.

“Constance,” She said crying harder.

“Oh my God, Constance?” my eyes started getting watery.  I couldn’t cry right now. I had to be strong for Tori. I held Tori in my arms. Right now is not the best time to ask questions about Constance. Tori couldn’t even explain the details if she wanted to. She would let out each word little by little. I didn’t want to seem like I was pressuring her. I kept my arms around her as she cried out her pain.
I can wait until she is ready to tell me.

“Excuse me, ma’am,” The officer said to me. I looked up at the male officer.

“Yes,” I answered.

“Did you know the victim, Constance Jefferson?” he asked.

“Yes,” I kept it brief with the officer.

“Can you tell me who would want to hurt her?” he asked pulling out his notepad. He was ready to write down anything I would be willing to say. I had a gut feeling Dollah had something to do with Constance being murdered. I did not want the cops to go after Dollah. I want to go after him myself.
Bitch ass niggah, I swear.

“No, I don’t. She is such a sweet girl. I don’t think she had any problems, well not any that I know of,” I told the officer. When I see Dollah, I was going to hand it to him.

“Alright, well if you think of anything, please give us a call,” He said handing me his card.

“Okay,” I took it and put it in my wallet.

Tori was able to get back to normal. She was the type that did not play when it came to messing with her family.
Then again, who would not act out if someone messed with their family?
Tori and Constance are cousins.

“Are you alright?” I asked her. She began to wipe her face with her hoodie.

“Yeah. Dollah knew what was going to happen and still didn’t do anything. What type of crazy shit is this? I thought we are supposed to look out for each other. Hold each other down,” She laughed.

“You know, when I see Dollah I’m going to fuck him up. I’m tired of him and his fucked up ways. I can’t sit back any more and keep letting these things happen. Constance is my family, what the fuck,” Tori said angrily. Constance should have been with us. Constance should not have been left alone with Dollah. What happened tonight made me think about Vicious.
She could be next.

“I know and we are going to do something after we get a plan together. How about we go head and meet up with everyone else?” I suggested and she agreed. Tori went to get her things and we left in my car.

“We got another girl,” I informed.

“Yeah? Who?” She inquired.

“Her name is Vicious,” I answered.

“Vicious? Who the hell named her that?” she asked changing the radio station.

“I guess her mother, Tori, I don’t know,” I started to laugh with her.

“You ain’t shit,” I joked.

“What, I was just asking. When did she come?” she asked pulling out a blunt out of my glove compartment.

“Oh, you getting real comfortable, save me a half. She came today,” I told her.

“So where is she?” she asked as she lit and began to inhale.

“With Chanelle,” I answered.

“CHANELLE,” She screamed loudly.
I know, I know, wrong idea.

“You left her with Chanelle, Kareema?”

“Yes. Only for a little while. Why you…”

“Only for a little while? She could have turned her ass out for that little while. What were you thinking?” Tori cut me off, but she was right. What was I thinking?
I wasn’t.

“You’re making it seem like it’s a bad move,” I played dumb.
In the back of my mind I would like to slap the shit out of myself, because in fact, it is a bad move.
I didn’t have a choice.
I asked myself what I was thinking.

“Because Kareema, out of all people, you felt Chanelle was your best choice. What the hell were you thinking? Chanelle probably tricked her out by now. She probably already let a few niggahs run a train on her. You know how she…” I cut her off.

“Okay Tori, I got your memo. You’re just listing shit aren’t you? I know Chanelle was not a good move, but there was no one else,” I claimed. I had a feeling about something. Something told me something happened to Vicious or is about to happen. I hope I am just being paranoid.
Please let me be paranoid and not be a reality.

“Why didn’t you just bring her?” she asked.
Tori would just not stop with these fucking questions already. She needs to shut up because now she is irritating me.

“Look Tori, Vicious had been thru a lot before she got to the house. I didn’t want to add more to it, okay. So can we drop this?” I asked. I took the blunt out of her hand.

“Well, damn. I’ll page the other girls,” She said.
Yea you do that.
Each of the girls had a pager for emergency purposes. I doubt they only use it for that.
I don’t only use it for that.
We established a Headquarters for our squad.
We sound official right, headquarters? It’s a fucking warehouse and we had an interior designer come in and make it look like something.
To Chanelle, it’s called the chambers.
It’s not that deep though.

“I’ve been having these funny feelings all day,” I told her.

“I understand, but I just have one more question,” she said.

“No Tori, enough with the questions. Look, I know I made a mistake okay,” I admitted my guilt and my shame.
God, please forgive me.

“I hope you learn from it and realize something,” she commented.

“Learn from what and realize what?” I was curious what she had to say as if she never made a mistake.
How many times did you let Constance get into some not okay situations, come on now!
I stopped in the middle of the expressway.

“Drive properly! Are you trying to kill us,” She joked.

“Answer me,” I demanded.

“Didn’t you say stop with the questions,” she joked.
She took my expression as a joke. I wonder if I slap her would she take that as a joke, too?

“Tori,” I called her name as I took the exit to get off the expressway.

“All I am saying is you know how Chanelle is Kareema. You see what she has done to Kassidy. Just watch out for Chanelle and look out for Vicious. Don’t let them get close. And Chanelle has been acting a little bit funny lately. I don’t know what’s up with her. You know she is secretive and shit,” She warned.
I already knew that I would have to watch over her. Tell me something I don’t know. Why did I leave Vicious with Chanelle? Someone slap the hell out of me for that.

When we pulled up in front of the building, I didn’t see everyone’s car. I pulled out another blunt. We smoked for a few more minutes and then went in.

“Where is everybody?” Tori asked. It was only Essence, Wanda, and Ceyanna with the exception Constance. Where are Vicious, Chanelle, Kassidy, and Retta?
These bitches do what they want to do.

“Essence where are Chanelle and the girls?” I asked. Since she was with them earlier, I figured she would still be with them.

“I don’t know,” She answered.

“You don’t know?” Tori asked.

“I don’t know,” She answered ignorantly.

“How the fuck don’t you know? It’s either you know and you don’t want to say shit or something happened and you don’t want to say shit,” Tori assumed. Essence gave Tori this look as if she had caught her in a lie.

“What happened, Essence?” I questioned her. She remained quiet. Ceyanna walked over to her and pushed her.

“Hey,” She whined.

“Stop playing and tell her what happened,” Ceyanna said to Essence.

“I told Chanelle to leave her alone. When you left they were clashing heads real hard. When we got in the car, Chanelle made a bet with Vicious. Since Vicious was acting like she tough, she wanted her to prove it. She made a bet to Vicious if she fucked C-Roc, she would let her ride,” Essence explained.

“C-Roc? Isn’t that the dude Kassidy is running with?” Tori asked.

“Why would she want her to do some shit like that? And knowing Roc is Kassidy’s dude…” We were all confused.
This is the bullshit Chanelle does, though. I know, I know, I should have taken Vicious with me.

“So what are you going to do about her now?” Ceyanna asked.

“This is starting to be too much. We have to watch Chanelle and Dollah,” I let out a big sigh.

“I see the reason for Chanelle, but why Dollah?” Wanda asked. I forgot to mention what happened with Constance.

“That’s why we came here in the first place. Dollah got Constance killed,” Tori answered.

“Oh, shit, where was Constance?” Ceyanna asked.

“We have to find that part out. I was hoping all the girls would be here,” I said sadly. Tori understood my sadness as she was sad too.
But we are going to resolve this for Constance’s justice.

“Chanelle acts like she doesn’t give a fuck sometimes. It’s like she runs things only by herself,” Ceyanna added. It was true. We are supposed to ride with each other and for each other. But in reality half the time, it’s not the way. Sometimes the people in your circle are the ones you need to watch out for.

“So what are you going to do now?” Wanda asked.

“I’m thinking,” I said quickly.

“All I know is, nobody say anything. Play it cool,” Everyone agreed. The girls that were in our presence were our real ridahs.
We sat and plotted for revenge on these bitches.
