“Let’s get out of here now before any of more of them show up, Mindfreak. I cannot wait to hurry up and get these dumb less lethal weapons off of me and start causing real damage. This one should have been dead if my systems were upgraded. This is something I will not have to worry about in the future. Leave him, let us depart, we got what we came for.”

I then heard and felt footsteps walking over me. I felt so helpless on the ground but I couldn’t let them get away with what they had done. I wiped my eyes on my shirt and went back outside my apartment to see if I could find where they went. I ran down the street and saw Nick and Dylan facing my attackers. I could make out Summer’s head in the Armored ladies hand. Nick sent one of his blasts at the guy I hit. He went down. Dylan charged the lady in the armor and hit her a couple of times in the ribs. The lady didn’t seem all that phased by the blow and kicked Dylan hard in his mid-section. Dylan flew at least 15 feet and landed hard on the pavement. Nick shot her with a couple of his blast and she went down. Right after that is when it really started to get hectic.

I ran up to where the fight was taking place as Nick stood over the armored lady. Suddenly the back of her Armor opened up and she hopped out of it. The lady wasn’t a lady at all. She was just a head that looked human on a skeleton that was made of metal, right out of the movies. She caught Nick with a spinning
backfist and continued her barrage with knees and uppercuts, all the while holding Summers head. Nick was getting pretty beat up and was unable to get off any of his blasts. I ran towards the fight and drove my shoulder hard into what passed as the robot lady’s back. We all went down and ended up on top of Nick. I started hammering blow after blow on the back of the lady’s head when she finally had the strength to throw me off of her. I couldn’t really see her that well but I knew she was on her feet. I could see Nick get up and he tried to get her with his blasts again, but she was like a ballerina dancing a well-studied routine, she dodged everything he threw, like she knew his movements. I charged her and attempted to grab her but she danced out of the way. By now I could see Dylan get up and he was with the rest of Nick’s crew. Right now we had five on one.

Vanessa teleported
just behind the lady and grabbed her. I could see Dylan get up and started charging at her. The lady broke free from Vanessa and leaped into the air. When the lady leaped Aira took off and tried to hit the lady who adjusted in mid-flight, taking her eyes off of Dylan. When she landed, Dylan landed a pretty vicious elbow to her chest. It sounded like someone rang a bell so I figured Dylan really was made of armor. The lady stumbled backwards. Vanessa appeared behind her and grabbed her again. Dylan dropped to the ground as Nick blasted her full in the chest. Unfortunately since she was just a skeleton Vanessa caught the blast too. Both of them dropped to the floor as the lady finally dropped Summer’s head. I went to over to check on Vanessa when I looked up and saw ten more of the robot lady we just fought land behind Nick.

“Nick, behind you!”
I screamed as everyone looked to see what had gotten my attention.

The ladies started leaping all over the place and some just stayed
airborne, each of them shooting some type of green laser that was barely missing its target. I ran trying to find some type of cover and ended up behind a golf cart. I could see Nick trying to get a decent shot on one of them but he was just too slow. The rest of his crew was trying to avoid getting shot with whatever that was. I was trying to stay low and ducking my head when I noticed the man in black that I originally followed who Nick had blasted. He was trying to stay low to the ground and began crawling towards the first Robot lady and Vanessa. He picked up Summer’s head and started poking the robot lady in the back of her head. I ran from my cover and jumped on his back, driving my knees deep into his spine. He flattened out and I bit him hard on his shoulder and had my arms wrapped around his windpipe. I could feel his blood start to pool in my mouth and the sensation was unlike anything I had felt before.

I suddenly felt a strange calmness come over me, it was euphoric and nerve wracking at the same time. His blood t
asted awful but it seemed like I was consuming something besides his blood, like his very life force. I could feel myself getting stronger, not like super hero strong but strong as in being in my top condition. I was no longer nervous about the battle, the only thing a cared about was chomping down harder. The man struggled a bit and tried to scream but I was choking him and he eventually passed out. My eyes no longer hurt from the pepper spray and I could see clearly. The original robot lady and gotten up now. I spotted her a second too late as she kicked me hard across the top of my head, breaking my hold on the man. My vision went blurred a bit but when I recovered I could see that she went to fight Nick and his crew.

The original robot lady was the only one I saw in the fight and the rest of Nick’s crew started to emerge from their hiding spots looking confused. I screamed for them to turn around but the lady was already upon them. She grabbed Dylan and slung him hard into Aira who couldn’t get out of the way in time. She then started hitting all kinds of flips and twirls heading towards Nick making it impossible for him to get a clear shot. Vanessa appeared behind her and grabbed her but the lady was ready this time. She jumped and spun her back towards Nick who already had a blast on the way. He hit Vanessa full and she was upon him. She grabbed both of Nick’s hands and faced them towards himself, all the while throwing kicks and knees. I ran up and elbow her hard on the head and she released Nick and jumped out of the way. Nick slumped badly after those couple of hits and I helped him find cover. I then turned my attention back on the lady and I could see she had picked up
Summer’s head again, but this time I really looked at it.

I could see no blood coming from it and it looked more like a mannequin’s head than a girl’s head. I could see wires sticking out of the back of it as the woman jumped into her original sui
t. She then ran towards my hiding spot while holding the unconscious man and Summer’s head. She went right by me, either because she didn’t see me, or she didn’t see me as a threat. I stood up to follow her when a figure in some type of armored suit landed in front of her path. I could not see the figure’s face but when he spoke I could tell it was the Principal, although his voice seemed mechanical, like it was being broadcast by some sort of speakers outside his suit.

“Drop my daughter
Winter. You are surrounded and are no match for me. Surrender or I will destroy you, hard drive and all. You have 5 seconds.”

“Is that the way it is now Henry?” The lady spoke, almost in a mocking manner. “Here I am thinking you would be happy to see your wife after all this time. I just want some alone time with my daughter for some girl talk. Mother
daughter stuff, you know.”

The Principal lunged at the robot lady he called
Winter. She was still holding Summer’s head and gave the principal the exact same kick she gave Dylan earlier. The Principal flew through the air but instead of a hard landing, he righted himself while in the air and flew right back at Winter. She tried to jump out the way but he connected to her torso, this time with a kick of his own. Winter went flying past me and landed in a heap on the sidewalk. She then took something off her suit and attached it to Summer’s head.

“Stay back Henry.” She spoke, sounding kind of nervous if robot ladies could sound nervous. “I am programmed not to take human lives or lie. Believe me when I say there is a small bomb attached to her head and I will blow her sky high. The bomb is on a timer. It will go off
in two minutes if this bomb is within 2 miles of me. I am going to try to leave this place as quickly as possible. If you detain me here she will die. The bomb will self-deactivate if I am out of range and fall off. Do not try and stop me and you better hope no one else can.”

She then threw the head at the Principal and took off towards the Park and then towards the vampires area. The Principal caught
Summer and started flying as fast as possible towards the park then towards the werewolves area. I decided to follow my gut and follow the robot lady.

The park was a warzone, or more like a videogame warzone. I could see the vampires were in
a frenzy. The attackers had excellent cover and I could see they were mowing the Vampires down but they kept coming with a ferocity I had never seen. They Vampire I got into it with earlier grabbed one of the men and ripped his arm off. She then started beating the other men with it. Some of the attackers tried to surrender but the Vampires were having none of it. They were screaming ear piercing shrieks and tearing the men from limb to limb. A vampire with green hair jumped in the way of Winter as I was chasing her. The vampire looked no taller than 5’5 but with Vampires, size definitely does not matter. Winter tried to go around her, but the vampire had some sort of pole and caught winter flush with it. Winter went flying. I had to stop this Vampire somehow or Summer would be toast. Robot chick or not, she was a hot robot chick that had been nothing but friendly with me. I charged the vampire while she was focused on winter. I knocked her down as the lady got up and ran passed us.

“What are you doing moron
?” The vampire screamed at me. “Touch me again and you will regret it.” The vampire pushed me off of her and started to run after Winter. I got up when suddenly a big explosion happened in front of us, throwing me back to the ground.

When the smoke cleared the vampire I tackled was in front of me, her head caked with blood. I picked her up and stumbled back towards the infirmary.
I wasn’t sure how big the cut was on her head, I just knew that it was pumping a lot of blood out. Her blood seemed to be an unnaturally dark red I noticed since it was now all over my clothes. I stumbled into the building and made my way back towards the infirmary. Right before I was going to open the door, Chloe the healing chick met me outside.

“Are you
insane?” Chloe screamed at me while waving her arms. “Take her down the hall to their clinic. You could have contaminated everyone in here. I’m amazed you are still walking and haven’t gone into shock!”

I decided to skip the rest of her lecture and headed down the hall. I could hear footsteps behind me, so I figured that it had to be Chloe. As I was walking I could see the Werew
olves also had their own clinic situated between the wizards and the Vampires. As I got close to the clinic door it opened and there stood a vampire I had never seen before. She first gave me a look and disgust and rudely told me where to lay down the vampire I was holding. I turned to walk out of the clinic and saw Chloe. She motioned for me to follow her into what looked like a patient care hospital room.

“Go in there and wash all that blood off of you. If any of it gets into your system you are in for a horrible night. I don’t know what you were thinking. Any contact with their body fluids is harmful”

Maybe she was just trying to help. But I didn’t forget she was Nick’s flunky. I had a score to settle with him, and her too since she knew what happened to me and kept quiet. Considering what had just transpired and is probably still transpiring, getting revenge now would be foolish. Besides, she looked no older than Nick was and was slight of frame.

“Stay out of my business. You didn’t seem
too wrapped up in my well-being earlier.  I don’t need your advice.” I said in the nastiest tone I could muster and then turned out the door. I could hear her talking to me, but I wasn’t going to stop walking even though I knew she was behind me.

“
Fine then, be an idiot. If it doesn’t kill you, you will wish you listened to me.” I heard her say as I walked out the door.

I did not see or hear anymore sound of fighting. I walked through the park towards where the fight with
Winter first started to see if anyone needed help. I saw Ronnie trying to help Dylan up while Aira was on her knees checking on Vanessa who was coughing. Nick was all bruised and bloody, as I could see blood dripping out of his mouth and he had a particularly nasty gash on his left forearm which he was cradling. I figured it was going to be hard to lug them all to the infirmary but I could see the golf cart I hid behind earlier looked to be still operational. I walked over to Nick when my emotions got the better of me.

Before I knew it, I kicked Nick hard in his side and he crumpled to the ground in the fetal position. I kept stomping away on his head and ribs just like he did to me last night. I could see Aira look
over at me, but I was in much better shape than she was. I closed the distance before she could take off and caught her with an elbow to the throat. Vanessa was still out of it, but I gave her a good kick to the stomach just because. By now Ronnie was looking at me in Shock and Dylan was on his feet.

“Cory what are you doing?” Ronnie asked me with a look a shock written all over his face.

“I’m getting payback. Nobody does what they did to me without getting a reaction.” I told Ronnie with a rage building inside me.

“Well I’m not going to be that easy.” Dylan looked at me with rage all over his features. “You want some more of what happened yesterday, you are going to get it. You can do nothing to me to stop me.” Dylan then ran to meet my charge.

I threw one right hand and I felt like I caught his teeth. He didn’t seem all that hurt by it, but suddenly he dropped to the floor and started twitching, Like he was having a seizure.

“What did you do to him Cory?” Ronnie asked me while trying to contain Dylan.
