“Jax, it’s time to wake up.” A soft voice whispers in my ear. A warm pair of lips ghost down my neck and the grazing of hard nipples down my chest stirs me awake. My eyes crack open, the sun isn't even up yet, but that doesn't matter to Lexi. She’s up and ready to play before she leaves for the restaurant.
Sleep has eluded us both since I proposed to Lexi two days ago. Seems the idea of us getting married has made her even hornier than before. She hasn’t been able to keep her hands, lips, or her pussy off of me, not that I’m complaining. I love the idea of her not getting enough of me, because I sure as hell can't get enough of her.
Lexi slowly sinks down on my cock until I’m completely rooted in her warm wet pussy. My hands gravitate to her body, exploring every curve until I reach her big full breasts, they feel heavy in my hands. Every part of her is perfect and mine.
She rests a hand on my stomach steading herself while her hips work up and down my thick length, coating me in her sweet honey. My eyes trail down to where our bodies are connected, watching my dick slide in and out of her.
Her other hand reaches down and wraps around my neck, forcing my eyes back up to hers. Her long blonde locks have fallen over her left eye, making her look sexy as fuck as she rides my cock. She locks me in her dark seductive gaze, making my dick twitch inside her.
“Keep watching me baby. I love it when you watch me fuck you,” she purrs, working her hips harder and faster. My hands drop to the bed, white knuckle gripping the sheets. Toes curling as the fire courses through my body.
Lexi keeps her hand tightly gripped around my throat, possessing me, owning me. I fucking love it when she gets like this. Her pussy grips me tightly, milking me for all that I have. I can’t hold back any longer. One final thrust of her hips and she has me coming with a fierce roar. The pulse of my cock sends Lexi over the edge. Her body arches back, my name spilling from her lips.
I sit up, pulling her into my arms. Her body shakes as the waves of her orgasm crash over her. I nuzzle my face in the crook of her neck, kissing and licking her delicate skin as she comes down from her high. Her hips slowly rock letting me know she's not done with me just yet. Which is good, because I’m still rock hard inside her.
“You’re so fucking beautiful, Kitten.”
A satisfied hum vibrates through her whole body. She wraps me in her arms and legs. Softly kissing the side of my face while her fingers stroke hair.
“I love you, Jax,” she softly whispers.
“I love you too, Lexi.”
“Jax, what time are we meeting at the bank to sign the papers?” Lexi asks, walking out of the bedroom. She's dressed in her black work pants and white tank top, with her chef’s coat draped over right arm. Her hair is neatly pulled back in a bun. Even in her work clothes, she looks cute as hell.
“We are meeting at the bank at three, so don’t be late.” Today is the day the first part of Lexi’s dream will be coming true. Parker worked his magic and negotiated the bank down thirty grand from their original offering price. All the pieces are starting to come together. Now it’s in my hands to turn that dilapidated building into a working restaurant.
Just as I finish pouring my coffee into my travel mug, I feel her arms slide around my waist and a pair of lips kiss the back of my neck.
“I’ll be there at three sharp.”
I turn in her arms, while wrapping her up in mine. “Have I told you how proud of you I am?”
Standing there watching Lexi tell Brad to take his money and shove it up his ass was the proudest moment of my life. It took a lot of guts. Not many people would have done what she did. It makes me love her even more and I can’t wait to make this incredibly strong woman my wife.
“This is the first time today,” she smirks.
“I’m probably going to say it a few more times.”
“You’re too sweet to me.” She tilts the brim of my Red Sox cap up and stands up on her tip toes to kiss me.
“Thank you for supporting me, for buying the factory, for giving us the money to start up our restaurant. And most of all thank you for loving me.” She sweetly smiles before kissing me again.
“You make it easy to love you, because you love me.”
“If you don’t stop with that sweet talk we are never leaving this apartment,” she playfully scolds.
“Okay smartass, get out of here and go take over the world.”
She gives me one last peck on the cheek then wiggles free from my arms. Before she gets too far from my reach, I give her a hard smack across the ass. She lets out a squeak then a giggle.
“Save that shit for tonight.”
“The meat distributor comes every Monday at nine, so make sure the order is in to him by Friday. Our produce guy delivers to us every day,” I explain to Jackie, my new office manager while she feverishly takes notes in her notebook.
With the plans for the new restaurant in motion, it’s time I hand over the reins of the office to my assistant manager Jackie. She's been with me since the beginning. She’s sweet and tough when needed, and all of the staff gets along with her, so there is no one better than her to handle the everyday dealings in the office.
The past two days have been a blur. One minute I'm telling off our investors, the next Jax is giving me all his money and asking me to marry him. I’m getting married. Me, of all people, is getting married. I was never the little girl who daydreamed about her future wedding. My only daydreams were of kitchens and recipes. I’m about to start renovating and building a new business and all I can think about is walking down the aisle dressed in a beautiful white gown, holding a bouquet of fresh cut flowers, and Jax looking handsome in his tuxedo as he waits for me at the end of the aisle.
I am hopelessly in love with my sweet reformed bad boy. Who knew a one-nightstand could turn into a lifetime of happiness.
I’m probably going to have to give my first born to Jen for dragging me down to the club that night. If it wasn't for her pushing me to go I never would have met Jax. Just thinking about him is making a big goofy grin stretch across my face.
“I think I got it all boss lady. And don’t worry, I am going to take good care of your baby,” she says with confidence.
“I’m not worried at all; you are more than capable of running this ship.”
“Thanks boss lady. I'm going to go finish up the ad for the new assistant manager position before the lunch rush gets here.” She flashes me an appreciative smile then collects her things and starts for the door, only to be stopped by a six-foot-four wall of lean muscle known as Michael, my sous chef.
“Good morning Jackie, how are you darlin?” he asks with a big goofy grin.
“I’d be a lot better if you weren't in my way,” she snarls.
Michael raises his hands up in surrender and moves out of Jackie’s way. She storms off in a huff.
“So, she’s a little ray of sunshine this morning.” He laughs, stepping inside my office.
“I think she is still pissed at you for hitting on her girlfriend.”
“Hey, how was I supposed to know that gorgeous redhead was Jackie’s girlfriend? So what did you need to see me about boss?” He slumps down in the chair across from my desk, running his fingers through his thick light brown hair.
Michael was the only chef I interviewed when I opened Bennett’s. He walked into my kitchen with his intense blue eyes, chiseled jawline flecked with a day’s worth of stubble, an adorable southern twang in his voice, and a cocky confidence that had me loving and hating him. He won me over after preparing the best plate of shrimp and grits I had ever eaten. He’s young and ambitious and a bit of a flirt, but he is a beast in the kitchen. Which is why I hired him on the spot, and I know, without a doubt, he is going to take Bennett’s to the next level.
“So I have some exciting news. We got the funding to open the new restaurant.”
“Congratulations boss, that’s fantastic.”
“Thank you. Now the reason I wanted to see you is because I am officially handing over the kitchen here at Bennett’s to your capable hands.”
Michael leaps out of his chair, punching his fists in the air and excitedly shouting, “Are you serious? Head chef. I’m going to be the new head chef?”
“You are a talented chef, Michael, and I trust you to take care of my baby,” I assure him. Giggling to myself at his reaction.
“I promise I won’t let you down.” He strides around my desk and lifts me out of my chair and gives me a big bear hug. “Thank you, thank you.”
“You’re welcome, Michael. Now can you let me go? I can’t breathe,” I groan. Feeling like the air is being squeezed out of me.
He releases me from his vice like grip. “Sorry boss.”
“Your new position starts tonight, which means you need to go get started on the dinner menu. And also, I need you to kiss Jackie's ass, get on your knees and kiss her feet, do whatever it takes to get her to like you again. I don't want any drama around here. Okay?”
“I will win her over again, I promise.” He gives me a reassuring smile.
“Good. Now get to work, you have a kitchen to run,” I order.
“You got it boss.” He salutes me, then turns on his heels and heads back to the kitchen.
I sit back down at my desk, and just as I start looking through my emails, I hear a knock on my door. “Michael, seriously, get the menu done.” I look back at the door expecting to see Michael, instead I'm met by the sad eyes of my brother, Grayson.
“Grayson, what are you doing here?” I stumble over my words.
I cringe slightly when he steps further inside. After our last meeting, I don’t know which Grayson I am going to get today.
“Lex, I am so sorry for how I have behaved. I’ve been a selfish asshole and I am sorry.” The tears begin to well up in his eyes. I haven’t seen Grayson cry since our dog died and it’s breaking my heart.
I get up from my chair and walk around my desk and wrap my arms around him. “Pippa told me everything, about the party and what Jax offered to do and...” His voice cracks. “…that he proposed. It ripped my heart out that I wasn't there to see it.” He hugs me tighter. “I still see you as my baby sister and I know I have to stop. You are a strong, caring woman now and that is how I need to start looking at you.”
I've been so preoccupied with the restaurant and getting engaged it never dawned on me Pippa would have mentioned everything to Grayson.
“You are the reason I am so strong. You helped make me the person I am today, and I could never thank you enough for that,” I sob into his shoulder. “You’ve always been there for me, and I will still need you in my life. It’s just now I have Jax and he loves me and I love him and we are starting our lives together now. I really need you to be okay with that.”
“I know Jax loves you, I could see it in his eyes that day at the house. I know he’s going to support you and take care of you and you are going to take care of him. I’m really happy for you and Jax. I’m so sorry, can you ever forgive me?”
“You’re my brother, of course I can forgive you. Besides, I need you to walk me down the aisle,” I say matter of factly.
“You want me to give you away? What about dad?” he asks, taking a couple steps back.
“I love dad, but you are the one who deserves the job. You’ve been more than just a brother to me, you’re like a second father. So will you give me away?”
“It would be my honor.” Grayson pulls me back for another hug.
It feels like a huge weight has been lifted and all is right in the world. No matter how big a pain in the ass Grayson can be, I will always love him.
“So now that we are speaking again, can you make your big brother a plate of your famous banana chocolate chip pancakes? I’ve missed those damn pancakes.”
“Come on big bro, let me make you some pancakes.”
