Chapter One

Centuries ago there was a war between the species, a war so
bloody and devastating that even after it was over, it was unheard of for
different species to mingle for anything other than business.  Tricia and Adam
were one of the few exceptions; they became one of the most powerful couples
after the war had ended.

Tricia was considered an alpha female vampire among her
species, sought after by every male vampire in the world.  She stood at five
feet nine inches tall, with curves in all of the right places.  Her skin was
pale with just a hint of the peach color it was before she was turned.  Her
hair was a dark and dirty blonde that, and her eyes shown a bright aquamarine.
Tricia loved a good fight; she had spent the entire war right in the middle,
battling every species involved.  That is where she first met Adam, her alpha
werewolf husband.

Adam was six foot five and towered over everyone on the
battlefield.  His muscles matched his height; they were well formed and hard to
the touch, making it easy for him to throw enemies around as if they were rag
dolls.  He kept his chocolate brown hair short and shaggy, so it tickled his
ears whenever he moved his head.  His eyes were a strange combination of brown
and red, almost as if they were carved from leaves in the fall.  Those eyes
watched Tricia for several years, glowing with desire every time he watched her
defeat an enemy, fighting himself because she was the enemy and had no place
inside his mind.  Adam didn’t know it at the time, but Tricia was fighting the
same battle with herself about him.  She loved to watch the alpha move, taking
down enemy after enemy, sometimes a group of them all at once.  Watching him
fight made her blood boil and her body ache to know what he would be like as a
lover.

When the war among the species finally ended, it was Tricia
who made the first move on Adam.  She strode into the werewolf camp without
fear, and walked directly into Adam’s tent.  When she entered she discovered he
wasn’t alone, he was rolling around in his furs with what smelled like a
freshly transformed female werewolf.  Instead of walking away, she calmly
greeted them both, and when the female looked offended at her interruption,
Tricia simply ordered the female to get out.  Once the female refused, Tricia
stepped towards her and grabbed onto her by a lock of her hair and dragged her
out of the tent.  Once the female was outside, covered in dirt from being
tossed to the ground, and crying for the Adam to come and protect her, Tricia
turned around and closed the tent curtains to give her and Adam some privacy.

“Did you want to go fetch your bitch, or have a chat with
me?”

Tricia arched her eyebrow at Adam, enjoying the view of him
lying naked with only a small blanket covering his lap.

“And what would you want to chat about with a werewolf, neck
biter?”

“I bite more than just necks.”

Tricia grinned and winked towards Adam, and he responded
exactly how she hoped he would.  He let out a low growl and she watched as the
blanket against his lap twitched.

“What do you want vampire?”

“To seduce and claim you, wolf.”

Adam was the one to arch his eyebrow after that, of all the
things she could have said, he had not seen that answer coming.

“And why would you want to do that?  We are enemies.”

Adam was growling low within his throat, his mind was racing
with thoughts of having the warrior female, but with the war only over a few
hours he couldn’t help but think it was a trick to kill the wolves’ most
valuable soldier.

“The war is over, there are no enemies anymore.  I watched
you on the battlefield.  You are fierce, a proud fighter, just as I am.”

“So you’ve come to claim yourself a soldier, have ya?”

“I’ve come to claim myself an alpha.”

Tricia was grinning as she stalked towards Adam, and stood
between his parted legs that moved to hang over the edge of the bed as they
talked.  Adam reached up and stroked his fingers along her soft braided hair,
and gazed into her shining eyes.  He couldn’t scent a single lie in the air,
the female spoke the absolute truth to him.

“I think that the alpha will be claiming you instead.”

With those last words spoken, Adam pulled Tricia into his
bed and covered both of them in his sheets.  They spent the entire night taking
turns on claiming each other until both of them were bruised, marked, and
gasping for life.

After that night, no one would ever see one without the
other, they were inseparable.  The stories of their mating spread hard and fast
across the world, and when they finally had a formal wedding, every species was
there to cheer them on for doing the unthinkable.  For most people that was the
end of Tricia and Adam’s story, they had gotten their happily ever after and
would spend the rest of their lives living it.  But Tricia and Adam both knew
that wasn’t going to be the end of their happily ever after, they had much more
in store for each other before they hung up their old ways and settled down for
eternity.

Chapter Two

The strobe lights were flashing all around the room and the
leather cushions of the booths were stick with sweat, alcohol and most likely
bodily fluids.  Tricia didn’t mind though, she leaned back to rest against
Adam’s chest as the both stared out onto the dance floor.  Club Pariah was
their home, not just in spirit but on paper as well.  Adam had purchased the
club for Tricia on her 888 birthday, the buildings address being 888 den
street, and Adam thought it was an entertaining play on words for somewhere
they would settle down.

They had a four bedroom, 3-bathroom condo on top of the
club, and had their club segregated into several of its own sections including
five private backrooms.  Tricia handled designing the entire condo and club,
she wanted specifications that a normal contractor wouldn’t understand, such as
her water resistant tiled rooms.

Tricia and Adam had created the club to cater to paranormal
species as well as humans, letting them mingle and enjoy each other, but had a
strict no secret policy.  Everyone knew what everyone was, and if you tried to
claim to be another species, you were banned from the club.  Adam tended to be
a little stricter about it when a human was involved, but he had a secret soft
spot for humans that only Tricia knew about, and she enjoyed his soft spot for
humans.  They often took one or two lovers at the end of every night to spend a
day fooling around with then, more often than not those lovers were humans.

Adam loved Tricia beyond sanity, but he enjoyed the feeling
of warmth the human females could provide while they all made love.  Tonight
was the same as any other night; they were going to spend the entire night in
their booth, looking for someone that made their blood boil and then offer to
take them upstairs right before closing.  Adam wrapped his arm around Tricia’s
shoulder and pulled her tighter against his side, his free hand sipping on a
glass of dark alcohol.

“Anyone worth noticing?”

“Not yet.”

“We could always move to the back rooms, watch a show, or
put on one ourselves.”

Adam was growling into her ear and pulling her harder
against him.

“Are you really in the mood to watch someone else having all
the fun?”

Tricia was practically moaning her words, feeling Adam’s arm
wrapping tighter around her.

“Like I said, or put on a show ourselves.”

Adam’s voice grew huskier and deeper with every word he
spoke, letting Tricia know he was running out of patience, they had been at the
club all night searching for someone and nobody interesting had shown up.

Tricia decided to extend Adam’s patience by teasing him a
little, she was in the mood to have an extra person that night, and wasn’t
going to give up until she found someone.  She pulled out of Adam’s grasp and
turned to face him.  She moved her leg over his thighs to straddle him and
wrapped her arms around his neck, forcing his head to turn and gaze into her
eyes.  She began grinding down against his lap, feeling the reason for his
impatience.

“Little earlier to already be this worked up, isn’t it?”

“Have you seen my wife?  I’m this worked up every second of
the day.”

Tricia grinned and leaned in to press her lips softly
against his, his free hand moved up to the back of her head and pressed her
deeper into the kiss, their tongues swirling around and dancing with each
other.  Tricia moaned into Adam’s mouth and ground herself harder against his
lap, her hands moving from around his neck to his shoulder.  She snuck her
fingertips up into his sleeves and dug her fingernails into his shoulders,
pulling at the flesh as the continued their embrace.  Adam growled when he felt
the cool air caress his fresh scratches, thrusting his hips up to grind back
into Tricia as she teased him.

“It’s time we go home, Neck biter.”

Tricia grinned and leaned forward, dragging her lips in
small kisses along Adam’s neck as she purred.

“Neck biter?  Is that wishful thinking wolf?”

Adam only growled as he felt Tricia dragging her fangs
barely across his flesh, teasing him with thoughts of her sinking into his
neck.

“I have proof that that is exactly what you are.”

Adam wrapped his arm around her hips and tugged her tight
into his lap, grinding himself against her to let her feel the full extent of
his arousal.  Tricia grinned against his neck and sunk her fangs in half way,
causing the smallest puncture as her tongue twisted around her fangs to lick at
his neck.  Adam’s hold on her became tighter as soon as her teeth pushed into
his neck, his body trembling with need as he felt her feeding off of him.

“You better intend to finish me.”

Tricia pulled away from his neck and glided her finger
across the wound to wipe away the last drops of mess she had made, licking her
finger as she gazed at Adam.

“I always do, my love.”

“Now, right now.”

Adam was still growling, his hand discarding the drink to
grip both her hips and hold her against his lap.

“My poor impatient wolf.”

“Tonight is a bust, let me take you home.”

“Five more minutes, and then we’ll close for the night.”

Tricia grinned and leaned into Adam, kissing him softly
before pulling away.  She didn’t want to give him another opening to deepen
their embrace, her resistance was wearing, and she wanted him just as badly as
he wanted her.

Five minutes.”

Tricia loved it when he agreed with her; it was always
unknown who was going to win when they had opposite desires, their alpha
natures fought against the fact that they would do anything for each other.
Winning was considered a very large prize for either of them.

“Thank you love.”

“Mmhmm.”

Adam leaned back against the booth seat and mumbled, he
checked his watch every thirty seconds to see if Tricia’s five minutes were
up.  When they reached her five-minute limit, Tricia sighed in defeat, nobody
had stumbled into the club that seemed interesting enough to take home.

“Home, now.”

“Definitely.”

Tricia pulled Adam into a deep kiss and rubbed herself
against his side, she was done waiting and wanted to take her wolf home and
satisfy him.  Just as she pulled away from his lips in order to climb out of
the booth, Tricia caught a scent of someone delectable.  Her eyes wandered
across the dance floor and the bar, searching out the creature that swarmed her
senses, and finally she found her.  Tricia reached out and caressed Adam’s
chin, turning his head she aimed his gaze onto the woman standing near the
entrance.  Tricia was grinning as she heard Adam’s growl of approval caressing
her ear, she was definitely coming home with them.

Chapter Three

Tricia slid out of the booth first, Adam followed quickly behind
her as they both watched the young woman that just entered their club.  She was
a small, frail looking creature.  She seemed to be about five foot three, light
in weight and hardly any curves.  Her hair was a brown that matched Adam’s and
it was pulled back into a perfect French braid.  Her eyes were a deep sea green
with flecks of blue and gold sparkled within them.

Adam leaned in and nibbled along Tricia’s neck while she
continued to watch the woman, her eyes trailing her all the way to the bar.  Tricia
watched the woman order as she nodded towards the bartender, letting him know
that all the woman’s drinks were on the house.

She could see the woman leaning over to ask why her drink
was free and the bartender nodded towards Tricia and Adam.  When the woman’s
eyes connected with Tricia, she smiled and raised her drink in appreciation.
Tricia knew that was her invitation to go and speak with the girl.  Tricia
reached behind her and caressed Adam’s side, tilting her head to the side to
let him have a decent taste of her flesh before pulling away.  She wiggled her
ass towards Adam as she walked away and headed to the lower platform of the
club where the bar was stationed.  Tricia leaned against the bar and laced her
fingers together as she smiled up at the woman.

“I’m glad you like your drink.”

“Oh I love this drink, it’s my favorite when I come here.
Did you know this is the only bar that makes this right?”

“Is that so?”

Tricia arched an eyebrow with her question, her grin
undeniable as the woman complimented her bar.

“Mmhmm.  Shame really, this drink is by far the best on any
menu.”

“I might have to disagree with you on that.”

“What is the best on the menu then?”

The woman looked intrigued as she turned to face Tricia more
directly as she sipped on her drink.  Tricia reached out her hand and caressed
the girls face, tucking a stray strand of hair behind the woman’s ear.

“That’s a secret.  Perhaps I’ll tell you one day.”

The woman turned her face away to hide the flush of pink
growing across her cheeks.

“Does your club keep many secrets from its patrons?”

“How did you know it was my club?”

“I’ve heard other’s talk.  I don’t come here often, but when
I do the owners seem to be on everyone’s tongue.  They all want to be chosen,
whatever that means.”

“Are you curious to know what that means?”

“Maybe.”

Tricia reached out her hand and offered it to the woman.

“I’m Tricia.”

The woman looked skeptical about accepting the woman’s hand,
but decided to slide her small hand along the hand Tricia offered.

“Brianne”

Tricia closed her hand around Brianne’s and pulled herself
into the crook of her neck, letting her lips caress along Brianne’s ear.

“I would like to show you.”

Tricia could feel Brianne trembling as her words coursed
through her ear.

“I umm…I don’t think so.”

“Aww, why not?  Don’t like me?”

Brianne was continuing to blush, her body swaying back and
forth as if she were trying to decide whether to step towards or away from
Tricia.

“I don’t usually…”

“Go home with Vampires?”

Tricia finished her sentence for her, Brianne could only nod
as she tried to hide her face again, worried she had offended the owner.

“There is a first time for everything, and if it scares you,
I can promise there will be a werewolf there to protect you.”

“There would be two of you?”

“Mmhmm, that’s the deal gorgeous, two for the price of one.”

“I’ve never…”

“Been with two people at once.”

Tricia grinned, she loved the idea of fresh meat.  Most of
the lovers Adam and her took home were eccentrics like they were, it was rare
to find someone somewhat inexperienced within their club.

“Yeah… I’ve never done that.”

“Well let me be the first to expand your world of
possibilities.  Pretty please.”

Tricia was smiling her most seductive smile at Brianne,
hoping her glowing eyes could convince the woman to join Adam and her for at
least one night.

“I don’t know…”

That was when Adam snuck up behind Tricia and put his arm
around her.  He rested his chin on top of shoulder and grinned at Brianne.

“I promise to protect you from the big bad Vampire.”

Brianne couldn’t stop herself from letting out a little
giggle.

“Ok.”

“Yeah?”

Adam grew excited when he heard Brianne give in.

“Yeah sure, why not right.”

Brianne finished off her drink and flashed them both a
smile.  Tricia leaned her head back to whisper something quietly into Adam’s
ear, only making his grin grow larger.

“I think we should take you home before you change your
mind.”

Tricia nodded to agree with Adam.  She reached out for
Brianne’s hand again and when she felt the dainty fingers lace between hers,
she spun the woman around and wrapped her arm around her shoulder.  Tricia
waved to the bartender as she led Brianne around the bar to the door that led
to their condo.
