Raven jumped off the bed and ran to the bathroom. I stretched my body down the bed and smiled.
She came out of the bathroom dressed and sat down next to me.
“Now, you won’t tell anyone about this, will you?”
“Nope,” I said and ran my hand up her leg, “not a soul.”
“Good, because if he found out, he might think it was okay to do the same to me.”
“I understand,” I said. “So I suppose you won’t be telling him about this...indiscretion?”
“God no,” she said and stood from the bed. “Like I said, we’re monogamous. Well, it was nice meeting you, Mary. I’ll let myself out?”
Raven walked to the door of the bedroom and turned to me and smiled.
“It was nice meeting you as well, Raven,” I said and closed my eyes.
When Raven left, I got off the bed and opened my laptop. I saved the video and didn’t give myself a moment to back out as I logged onto Aiden’s Cloud service. He always saved a folder just for me to upload special movies I made for him when he was on the road, but this particular video was the most special I ever sent. I watched the green bar count down until the video was uploaded to his folder and shut my computer down.
I sent a three word text to Lucia:
I did it!
and ran around the suite packing my things.
A few hours later, I was in the limo on the way to the airport and I called Devon.
“Hey,” he said when he picked up. “I tried calling you a few hours ago.”
“I’m sorry I missed you,” I said. “I just wanted to let you know that I’m on my way to the airport.”
“Ah, so I presume you concluded your business?”
“Yes,” I said and leaned back against the headrest. “Completely concluded.”
“I like the sound of that,” he said. “So, will I still be seeing you?”
“Oh, absolutely. And sooner rather than later.”
“I can’t wait, Lexi,” Devon said.
“Neither can I,” I said and smiled. “I’ll call you as soon as I get in.”
As the limo pulled up in front of LaGuardia, my phone rang. I looked down at the screen and it was Aiden.
I turned my phone off. What more is there to say?
