“Psykhe, come here for a moment.” It was Gilgamesh that called me. He was one of their immortals, a warrior just like us meant for the same destiny. I acknowledged him and walked to where he was. He sat with two others that I had never met before.

“I will introduce you, this is Alulim and Lugalbanda. They are like us immortals. I’ve finally convinced them to come here. The Greeks are known for their parties.” He smiled to them. “I’m glad that you and your sisters proved me right.” He continued as I sat down with them.

“How is everything on your end?” I asked, wondering if maybe they have seen a shift in Diavolis behaviour.

“Why?” asked Gilgamesh.

“Are you here for more than a few days?”I asked.

“We’re here all week.” Gilgamesh replied.

“I want you, Alulim and Lugalbanda to come to our home for dinner, we have much to discuss.” I offered.

“And what of me? Can I not come?” Enki smiled and lifted me up and before I could protest, hugged me. “It is nice to see you again.” He smiled contently.

“It’s nice to see you too.” I answered happily. “Enki, you are always more than welcomed in my home. I will be more than happy if you come with them.” I winked.

I heard a loud commotion coming from behind us. It was Akhilles and Herakles, a few of the new guests had asked about my sisters. I guess they both had enough and finally claimed my sisters as their lovers. They announced how proud they were of them and then quickly took away what was theirs.

Hephaistos stepped up only when one of the gods asked Enki to speak to me.

“She is my wife, if you feel the need to speak to her, you should ask me!” Hephaistos said in their language.

The god bowed apologetically and that’s when Hephaistos took me by the hand and intertwined our fingers. He looked at me, his eyes half crazed with anger as he pulled me away from everyone’s prying looks.

‘Did you have to wear that?’
He thought.

“Why? I can’t? Are you going to control me now? Have you forgotten who I am?” I fired back.

I didn’t realize where we were going until we were far enough that I could no longer hear the music. He stopped in mid stride and turned to me.

“I’m so angry with you, but we will deal with it later. Right now, I’m going to punish you for putting me through that. I will do what I please and you will have to deal with it.” He bit out, as I looked at him curiously.

He then pulled me into his arms and kissed me hard, his lips claiming me, his tongue sweeping thought my mouth. I was about to enjoy the moment when I felt him bite my lower lip, he then pulled away and led me to a large tree. He leaned me up against it. My heart was now beating uncontrollably. He then pulled my dress up. He slid his two fingers roughly inside me, making me yelp in pain, I then began to soften. His touch melted my core.

“Now you are ready.” He breathed his hard words into my ear, making me melt further. It was then that he slid himself into me. He moved hard and slow.

“This is about me claiming you.” His voice was haltering. “Hold onto the tree.” He barked.

I grabbed the two branches above me and held on. He held me from my waist and pushed himself harder into me. I had never felt like this before. It was exciting how much he took control, I could feel myself going higher, just when I was about to completely let myself go, that is when he came.

He then let go of my waist and slid out of me. I felt shocked and upset. I looked at him, wondering why?

“It’s your punishment. Do you think I want everyone to see you like this? You are mine, only mine.” He snapped. I regained my composer as I fixed my dress.

“I won’t stop being this way.” I yelled.

“I know.” His face softened as he spoke, “and it’s that part of you that I want to control the most, but I can’t. That’s why I desire you so much.” He took my hand and led me through the forest out to the path and walked me home.

When we made our way back, I could hear Eirene yelling, she was upset.

“Do you think that I’m some goddess and that I’d be ok with you having women hanging off you, feeding you drink and food?” She didn’t leave him time to respond. I turned the corner and walked through the gate. “Enough! Just go!” She snapped, as she waved her hand at him. She stood her ground, her eyes nearly in tears.

Hephaistos took my hand and tried to lead me passed them, but I stood still. I knew she wasn’t in a good place, I could hear her thoughts. ‘
Why, why did I give my heart to this stupid brute, why?’

Herakles, tried to explain himself, but she wasn’t hearing it. “I’m not of the old mentality, if this is what you want, than go out and get it. I will not be cheated on or treated like a common woman, now get out.” She hissed. Herakles didn’t leave, but sat right back down. Eirene had had enough and left for her room.

Hephaistos tugged at my hand, but I nodded no. I let go of his hand and walked over to Herakles.

“She’s angry” I commented.

“Yeah, she is. But why?” He asked.

“Herakles…” I stopped, carefully choosing my words, not wanting to give away too much of her thoughts to him. “You are her only weakness. With you she losses all thought. I think most of her anger stems from a fear of losing you and that she may not be good enough.”

“Not good enough?” He said perplexed. “She is far more special to me than anything.” He fired back.

“I know, but to her she is a mere immortal, a tool, a weapon. You are a demi-god that has lived and seen things that she will never experience. I think she thinks you may grow tired of her.” I smiled and waited hoping my advice would help my sister.

“It’s because of everything that I have seen that I know she is the one for me.” He declared.

He stood up and walked into our home. Hephaistos and I followed him. He went to Eirene’s room, while Hephaistos and I continued to mine.

Hephaistos opened the door and walked in, as I closed the door behind me, Hephaistos finally spoke up.

“Do you feel the same way? Is that why you could so easily explain it to him?”

I was facing the door still holding onto the handle. “Yes, at times I do. It’s difficult to expose yourself in hopes that it may last, especially for my sisters, who have never loved before.” I turned to face him now. He was leaning up against my fireplace, he arms crossed. His eyes were a bright green, his skin glowing with the light of the fire. “So it’s easier for you, because you have loved before, that’s why you have no insecurities?” He walked over to the mirror. Was he going to leave now?

“Yes and no. With you it’s far more different.” I said softly. I didn’t want to mention Leonidas name. It felt uneasy for some reason.

“How? How is it different from that king?” He hissed.

I never wanted to lie to Hephaistos, but I needed to choose my words carefully. I didn’t want him to be angry with me anymore.

“First of all, don’t call him that.” I said.

“Call him what? That king” He raised his voice.

“His name was…” I stopped and waved my hand not wanting to say his name. “For me it was young love, love at first sight. It was fast, lustful, and innocent and it ended, just as quickly. But with you, it’s unrivalled.” I felt myself embarrassed, like I was exposing my private thoughts that were mine alone.

“So I’m different.” He said cynically. “Why is it that I’m always different?” He shook his head and lowered it. His was voice full of resentment.

I realized now that he was the one who was feeling insecure, that his loneliness, his feelings of being inadequate were showing.

“Why Psykhe?” He walked over to the chair in from of the fire and sat himself down. “Why am I never good enough?” He voice was hoarse almost broken.

I slowly walked over to him. My heart ached for this man.

“You are different.” I lowered myself to my knees to face him. He was hunched over his face low.

“For me, you are my truth. You are something that started slow and entered my heart like a quiet whisper, before long, my soul could only yearn for you. With you the reality is incomparable. I may have let Leonidas in a small part of my heart, but you are in every part of me. You own my soul, my mind and my entire being. I had no choice, but to give you all of me.” I placed my hand on his and held it tight. “Don’t you understand? I’m yours, you own me.” I breathed. He reached with his other hand and took my hand and placed it on his cheek. With his eyes closed, he nestled his face into my palm and kissed it.

We stayed in that moment, the fire’s flame glowing around us. I waited, hoping my words spoke to him. He finally opened his eyes to see that I had been looking at him this whole time. He smiled gently.

“Come.” He lifted me and walked me over to the bronze mirror. He took my hand and we both walked through. I had expected to reappear where I always had in the front gate of his home, but not this time, this time we walked into his room.

I had barely seen his room the last time I was here. I finally was able to take everything in. It was twice the size of mine. In one end there were hundreds scrolls and a large table with papers all over it. It was lit with what looked like hundreds of little floating lights. Close to it was a large hearth with a lounging chair, to the other end was an enormous bed with linens and pillows.

As I inched into the center of the room, I could see that the walls were taken over by windows that had large white linen drapes that rustled with the wind. I felt relaxed and at ease. I looked back and Hephaistos was still close to the mirror.

“Why are you still there?” I asked.

“I’m just waiting for you. I want to see how my room looks through your eyes.” He smiled.

“It’s very nice. I like it very much. Can I sit?” I pointed at the lounge chair.

“Don’t ever ask me, you do what you want.” He said calmly. “I have some work do, so just wait for me.” He added.

I sat on the chaise and lied down, I stretched and slowly let sleep take me.

I was awoken to Hephaistos taking me in his arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

“Are you done?” I asked sleepily.

He kissed my neck. “Yes.” He whispered.

He laid me down on his bed and slowly tried to take off my dress. I smiled at his effort. I rose up and opened my eyes and lifted my hands up into the air, waiting for him to lift my dress over my head.

“No.” He said.

“Why not?” I grumbled. I was tired of this whole day.

“Put your hands down.” He ordered I placed my hands back down. He sat in front of me and tilted his head to one side. I looked at how gorgeous he was. He reached for my face and leisurely caressed it, he then touched my hair. He slowly yanked out the pin that held my loose bun. He used his fingers to loosen my hair.

“There.” He murmured.

He let his hands drop to my shoulders and gently slid them down my arms, moving them to my waist. He then pushed me up onto my knees. He freed my dress from underneath me and slowly glided the dress over my body. It passed my thighs, over my waist, and finally over my head. The feeling of the soft silk soothed my skin. I sat in front of him naked, he eyes glowing.

You are so tempting.
’ He thought, as he was biting his lower lip.

As strong and as fearless as I was, in front of this man, I felt timid and shy. I started to breathe heavier as he sat watching me. He leaned in and lifted his one hand. With his fingers, he began to trace my skin.

You are so soft.
’ His thoughts whispered. I closed my eyes enjoying his touch.

My head fell back and he reached my throat, slowly touching it with the tips of his fingers, until he reached my chin. My head fell forward and I open my eyes to watch him. He moved in closer. He gently moved his thumb into my mouth.

‘Suck!’
His thought commanded.

I began to twirl my tongue around his thumb, with every twist I gently suck, my lips wrapping around it. I could hear him moan, his green eyes disappearing being taken over by his desire. I felt a new feeling of power. I instinctively moved towards him, as I placed my hands on his shoulders and pushed him down on his large bed. I straddle him, slowly moving my hands around his large broad chest tracing his large chest branding. I could clearly feel him, but I didn’t want him inside me just yet, I slowly lowered myself down to his waist, kissing and licking him as I moved.

I finally reached him and saw how much I affected him. I licked my lips wanting a taste. I nudge him with my nose gently, feeling his soft skin, taking in his scent. I opened my mouth and slowly moved all the way down taking him in. Every movement I made, made him moan, I took my time learning what he liked by his reactions, licking him, like I did his thumb. He began calling my name, but I didn’t stop, I wanted him, I wanted to do this. I liked the hold I had over him.

“No!” He bit out and lifting me up and placed me on the bed.

He laid there for a moment threading his hand through his hair, he then turned over to me and without any hesitation, immersed himself into my wet folds and began moving. He then placed his finger back into my mouth and I began to mimic the moves I was doing to him before. My body reacted to his.

“Keep licking me!” His voice was hard. When we both were about to succumbed to our climax, I bit hard on his finger. He lay on top of me. Both of us breathing heavily, his kissed me gently as he wrapped his arms around me. He moved his head so that his ear was on my chest.
