“Fuck you B.” He grabbed his shit and sped out the driveway.

“I finally did it.” I made the call to Hitta.

“How did he take it?”

“Not good.”

“Now, you can move on with your life and find someone to make you happy.”

“Yea, but I’m going to need to leave the state to do that.”

“Nah, don’t do that. Then, I won’t be able to see you and get our smoke on.”

“I know. What are you going to do?”

“Well first, I’m about to do the same thing you did with this chick. Then, I think I’m going to lay low for a while and take a much-needed vacation.”

“Good for you, Hitta.”

“You know the invitation is open for you and Madison.”

“I know, but with my sister’s about to have her baby, and I don’t want to be far. Plus, you already know what would happen.”

“Who said that I didn’t want that to happen?”

“Boy, cut it out and handle your business. I’ll be here if you need to vent afterwards.”

“You got it B. I’ll hit you up later.”

Why in the hell couldn’t I have ended up with him or any other good man? An asshole was placed in front of me, and it was fun at first, but I have a daughter now. I don’t want her growing up thinking the shit her dad is doing to me is ok. I would think he’d want the same, but I guess not.”

Monty

I’m not trying to hear that shit B talking. I know she wants to go back to fuck my boy but that ain’t happening either. Hitta’s girl told me she saw a text message but never told me what it said. The shit pissed me off, and I met her up at a hotel and fucked the shit out of her. Who knew her childish ass took pictures and started sending screen shots of our conversations? I got to Hitta’s house, parked behind him, and walked to the door. I could hear a bunch of arguing.

“Wait. You’re telling me you fucked my boy raw, and you don’t know if you’re pregnant by me or him?”

“Why the fuck do you care? You still sleeping with his girl; I saw the messages.” I stood there waiting for his answer.

“What? These messages.”

“Yup. Those.”

“You dumb ass fuck yo. If you look, Monty’s girls number is under Burgundy. This B has a picture to her number. Yea, her name was Barbara, and that’s who I’ve been fucking with for the past year. Yes, what Burgundy and me did was wrong, but neither one of us pursued one another after that. She’s in love with that man, and you sleeping around with him on some revenge shit when you had the wrong woman.”

I felt bad, because I knew exactly who Barbara was, and they had messing around for a while.

“Yo, Sharon this shit is over. Every time I turn around, you in bed with the next nigga. What you and him need to do is get checked since y’all both bed-hopping.”

“You’re not leaving.” Was all I heard, and then, a gun went off. I kicked the door in and she was standing over Hitta’s body with the gun in her hand.

“What did you do? Call 911.” I yelled, and her ass didn’t move. I had to make the call myself.

“Take care of my kids man.”

“You’ll be fine. Don’t talk like that.”

“Get me something to put pressure on him.”

“I’m serious.”

“Is he going to die?” I heard one of his sons ask as they stood over my shoulder looking down.

“Nah, he’s good man. Go sit over there with mommy.” I took the gun and put it under the couch. The EMT’s got him to the hospital in record time.

“Get to the hospital. Hitta got shot.” I yelled in the phone to Chase. We stayed at the hospital all night waiting to hear something. The doctor told us he was shot in the chest, close to his heart, and that he was in ICU. I saw Barbara walking in crying holding a baby girl that looked just like his boys. Barbara was a white woman in a black woman’s body. She had red hair, piercings in her eyebrow, and all up her ear. Her body was banging, and she had an attitude problem, but she loved the hell out of my boy. I had to figure out his code to get her number to call, which was his birthday.

“What the fuck you doing up here?” She snapped as soon as she saw me.

“What the fuck you mean? Why wouldn’t I be?”

“Boy please. Hitta told me about the mistake he made and how you kept doing it. I told him to stop fucking with you, because you’re a selfish ass nigga, but he said you was his boy.” That’s the second time someone called me selfish; it got me thinking that maybe I am.

“Barbara, I’m not about to go there with you.”

“Hi, Chase. You must be Spring.”

“Hey Barbara.”

“Yes, I’m Spring. Is that Hitta’s daughter?” I saw Andrea lift her head up and walk in our direction.

“Yes. She looks just like him, doesn’t she?”

“Yes. Can I hold her?” She passed the baby to Spring, and Andrea swung on her. Chase and I ran over to break it up but not before Barbara gave her a good ass whooping.

“Yo, my boy up there in ICU, and y’all out here fighting.”

“Your boy? Was he your boy when you were fucking me?”

“Bitch that will always be my boy. You’re just an easy fuck that anyone with a dick can have.” I was standing in her face yelling.

“Which one of you is Barbara?”

“I am.”

“Hi, I’m Nurse Williams, and he’s awake asking for you.” Sharon had this dumb ass look on her face. Ten minutes later, Barbara came out with tears running down her face and reached for the baby.

“Are you ok?” Spring asked rubbing her back.

“Yes. Hitta wants to see his daughter, and the nurses said it was ok for a few minutes.

“Is that why you’re crying?”

“No. When I got to the back, he gave me a kiss and asked me to get his jeans. He made me look in the pocket and I pulled this out. He proposed to me, and I said yes.” The size of the rock had to be over five karats.

“Oh my, God. Congratulations. I’m happy for you. We have to exchange numbers now that you’re engaged.” Spring was rubbing that shit in Andrea’s face. She didn’t care for her since her sister told her we were still sleeping around. She left her two boys standing there and stormed out the hospital.

“Yo, how are you going to leave your kids and their father is laid up?”

“He wants to get married to that bitch, then they can take care of those kids together.”

“What the hell is wrong with you? Those boys need their mother. You need to get out of your feelings and go get them.”

“No, I don’t want any kids. I never did. Monty, I’m not girlfriend material. I love fucking different men; the kids and Hitta were holding me back from doing what I wanted.”

“You selfish as hell for that.”

“Selfish, said the nigga fucking his best friend’s girl. You had a good woman at home like I had a good man. The difference is Hitta was in love with the idea of getting out the game, getting married, and having a bunch of kids. From what I hear, your woman only wanted you, but you wanted everyone else, so nigga don’t call me selfish when we’re in the same boat.” She chucked the deuces up and left the hospital.

Hitta

Yea, no one heard from me the entire time, and that’s how I liked it. I didn’t allow too many people in my business, but now, I’m caught up in this love triangle between my boy, his girl, and my ex. I was happy to see Barbara when she walked in, and even more when she accepted my proposal. She stole my heart a long time ago and she had my daughter. I couldn’t leave Andrea, because she always threatened to take my kids if I did. I was ecstatic when Spring told me she left the kids.

I was still pissed off with Monty for the shit he was still doing, but then, I owed him my life, because I wouldn’t be here if he wasn’t there. I been out the hospital for two weeks now and was staying with Barbara, my daughter, and my two sons. That scandalous bitch up and left them. I was thankful my fiancé took them in without me asking.

I met Barbara a year ago in the club. She was sitting with another woman, and they had just gotten off work and stopped in for drinks. I usually never went to the bar that early, but I was meeting someone there. She had on a red pencil skirt, a black blouse, and some black red bottoms. I figured she had money, because not all women could afford those type of shoes. I sent her a drink over, and she returned the gesture.

“Thanks for the drink.” I heard in my ear as I was getting ready to walk out.

“It’s all good, Ma. Matter of fact, here. This is for the rest of her night.” She handed the money back and told me my money wasn’t needed. She and I exchanged numbers, and I found out she was an investment banker and worked in New York four days a week. At first, she wasn’t feeling me because she didn’t want a thug ass dude that would be back and forth to jail.

Two months later, after a few dinner and movie dates, we finally had sex, and she was hooked ever since. Don’t get me wrong, she had a nigga stuck off her sex game too, but Andrea was the reason we didn’t go further. This woman would cook for me, give me back rubs and do anything else I asked. It was like she and I were made for each other. I explained to her what happened between me and Monty’s girl, and she said she understood but to make sure it didn’t happen again. I probably would’ve pursued Burgundy more once I found out what he was doing, but I loved Barbara, and she was still in love with Monty.

“Hey baby; the kids are asleep. I’m about to jump in the shower, you good?” I told her yes and flipped through the channels.

“I have something for you.”

“Oh, yea. What do you have for me?” I ran my hands down her back and found her spot in the middle.

“This.” And she slid down on my man.

“Shitttttt.” She rode me until we both came. Yea, B had some good pussy, but Barbara had some shit that even if I was to fuck with B, I would still come back to her.

“Let me taste that.” I licked my lips and gave her multiple orgasms until she tapped out.

“I love you Barbara.”

“I love you to Hitta. Now, I need some more dick.” We went at it until the pain kicked in, and I couldn’t take anymore.

Spring

I was lying in with Chase Jr., who we nicknamed C.J. when his father came in and stole him from me. He was two months old now and spoiled as hell. I went back to work last week, so we hired another nanny to take care of my son and niece. B seemed to be a little depressed now that she was finally through with Monty, who had been to the house every day and night since Hitta got shot. He would leave with Chase to handle business and come right back home with him. I think he was trying to prove to my sister he was doing what he had to, to get her back.

It was pretty funny if you ask me; he would come in the house, and she would go straight upstairs leaving him with us. He would try and sneak in her room at night, and you could hear her yelling to get out, and when he wouldn’t, she would kick Chase out my room and stay with me. He was not giving B up without a fight. He sent her flowers to the office every day and made sure to send her a text saying he loved her and was sorry. She may not say it, but I think he was getting to her, because last night he went to her room, and she didn’t kick him out.

“Um, what was Monty doing in your room last night?”

“Ugh, he’s driving me crazy. I asked him to keep an eye on Maddy, so I could take a shower, and when I came out, he acted like he was sleep and wouldn’t get up. I’m done arguing with him. Why the hell doesn’t he take his ass home?”

“I think it’s because he wants to be with you and only you. Can’t you tell, shit? He’s out with Chase in the morning and is right behind him when they get back.”

“Too little, too late.”

“Girl, cut the shit. You know damn well you miss his ass.”

“It doesn’t matter if I did or not; he doesn’t deserve me.”

“You’re right B. Let me talk to you for a minute.” Monty was standing at my bedroom door. She rolled her eyes and left the room with him.

I got up and went to find my man and my son. He was feeding him in the living room with some kid show on.

“You still think he’s paying attention, huh?”

“Yup. You know they say kids can hear, and they pick up shit quick.”

“Yea baby, but he’s only two months old.”

“Never too early to learn.”

“You’re a mess, but I love you.”

I left for work around nine, and B said she would be there later, because Madison had a doctor’s appointment this morning. I hit the alarm on my truck and took the elevator up to my office. I sat down checking my phone messages and emails.

“Is that my baby?” Was the last thing I heard before I was hit over the head with something?

Chase

Spring left for work this morning, and I stayed home with my son. I had a few errands to run so I had the nanny keep an eye on him until I got back. I sent B a message reminding her that she was keeping C.J for the weekend. I made plans for us to fly out to Miami for the weekend. I know Spring is going to have a fit, because it was her first time away from the baby, but we needed it, and I think those two needed time to themselves to work their problems out too.
