He turned her around. She leaned against him, her head on his shoulder, clay in his hands to mold as he wanted. He stroked down her arms and lifted them, planting them flat on the wall in front of her, forcing her over.

Trim thighs were already spread and he lowered his hands down her body, cupping her breasts for a moment before going lower. Dipping his fingers between her thighs, his mouth watered at the warm wetness filling her. Next he would take her to bed and have her before him to do as pleased, for as long he wanted.

He angled himself between her legs, tipped her hips up and eased in. A moan slid from her throat as he filled and rocked her, keeping his fingers on her and adding more sensation.

He meant what he said. He was going to fuck her until she cried out. By her panting already, this wouldn’t be long, thank god. Her back curved, hips cocked up and she met his strokes. Her ass slammed to his hips. Insides gripped and pulled his cock as he filled her again and again.

“Just like that,” he whispered. “Don’t take your hands off the wall.” Because dear God if she moved her hands, they’d likely fall and kill themselves. But what a way to go. He angled her just like he wanted and took her rawer than he’d ever done before. Male driving need and desire overrode everything. There was only the two of them, speeding toward the end. She whimpered. Her insides clenched him, but she didn’t stop meeting his strokes.

He pounded into her, release just out of grasp. His name whispered out of her lips over and over. Her insides gripped him once more and he flattened his hand over her front, grinded against her with his thrusts. Her head whipped back, hair flipped through the air and his name tore from her lips again.

That was the end of him. Hips met his and he held her there, his fingers gripping hard, but he couldn’t make himself loosen his hold as release shuddered from him. Her hands slipped from the wall, her body bent in half and muscles crippled. She was falling, he too. He had no choice but to guide and sink with her until they lay in the bottom of the small tub. The hot spray of the shower rained down. Their bodies were a tangled gasping heap.

Fuck, me
. How in the hell was he going to give this woman up at the end of the week?

He wasn’t even close to being done with her.

She turned in his arms. Her head rested against his chest in just the best, perfect damn spot. He craved her like he’d never craved another woman before, but then, his time was limited. If he had until he decided he was bored, that would be one thing. Not the case with
Lette
, which was why she seemed so different. He wasn’t on his own time, but at the mercy of circumstance.

Nothing more to do with it and a thought struck him. Why did he have to give her up if he wasn’t ready? Hell, Fayetteville wasn’t that far from Little Rock. There were weekends and holidays he could have her. His dad would approve of a girl lasting in Drew’s life a little longer than a couple of weekends. Not like his dad had to know there was nothing here but a physical relationship.

Lette
pressed a sweet kiss to his neck and curled herself a bit closer, as close as humanly possible within the white walls of the tub and Drew knew he had to work something out.

Chapter Ten

Drew stopped at the front door when his cousin called for him. He peeked his head in the kitchen. “Did you say something?”

Riley looked up from the dinner table. “Just wondering if you were coming back tonight or in the morning so I know whether to lock the door.”

Drew considered it for a moment. He probably should come back tonight, but he knew what was in the bed of his truck for
Lette
and that would hopefully make for a late night. “Morning. See you at dawn.”

Riley only shook his head with a grin and returned to his plate.

Drew took that as the end of their conversation and hurried out the door as the last bit of sunlight disappeared under the horizon. It had been another long ass day of work in the sweltering sun, but with
Lette
in his thoughts, he’d made it through.

Every time he strung up another row of wire he’d been that much closer to having
Lette
in his arms again.

As he dug up each hole with post-hole diggers for a new corner post, he’d been that much closer to having
Lette
in his arms again.

The drive into town was quick and he pulled in the driveway of the house. Already he could hear Clyde barking. He shook his head and reached in the back of his truck for the present he’d picked up for
Lette
.

He grabbed the hard plastic and lifted, dumping out rain water that had collected overnight. He had it out and was about to open the door when
Lette
did it for him. Clyde barked at her heels and at seeing Drew, wagged his tail.

Drew pulled his present around in front of him. “Look what I bought you.”

Her brow furrowed. “You bought me a kiddie pool?”

Drew dropped his gaze and maneuvered the pool through the house. The hard plastic creaked on the tile floor, crackling and popping like his heart pounding in his chest, knowing this was crazy. Yeah, he was an idiot. He knew that when he picked up the pool on a whim at Wal-Mart. But he was an idiot who was about to have a lot of fun. A lot of naked
Lette
fun.

“Drew.” He’d give her props, it was a solid attempt at scolding when she said his name, but hell, when you looked like sex on a stick like she did, very little was coming through to him as scolding or disapproving. Especially since she was so very easy to bait and encourage to have a little fun.

“You said you’d never been skinny dipping before and since you don’t like open water, this solves your problem.”

She stood in the empty hall. “I’m not getting in that thing.”

He tapped the yellow rim. Yellow, because he knew it would make her hair and skin glow just like that skirt she’d worn that first night. “Come on. I sprang for the one with the slide. I had to pay an extra ten dollars for that.”

Her lips curled up, but she caught the smile before it took her whole face.

“You know it’s going to be great. We’ll wait and do it after dark.”

She glanced down, the smile got away from her and she walked past. “Fine.”

“You won’t regret it,” he called after her and leaned the small pool against a wall. He’d make sure she wouldn’t regret it. He followed her to the kitchen and home cooked goodness raked through him. “Something smells good.”

She dipped her hands in flour and grabbed a mass of dough on the counter. “Chicken soup. Momma’s recipe.”

He followed her around the counter and peeked in the pot on the stove. Creamy white broth bubbled. A spoon was beside the stove. He picked it up and stirred, bringing carrots, potatoes, and bits of chicken to the top. Shellie made home cooked food and it was really the first time he started having it on a regular basis. He thought maybe it was this small town mentality making the women do that kind of cooking, but then,
Lette
wasn’t from here either.

He reached out for a carrot, only to have his hand smacked.

“No sneaking bites.”

He brushed off her flour fingerprints and stood behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist. “But I’m hungry.”

She swayed against him and a small, satisfying purr rumbled in her chest. “You’ll have to wait. I’m almost done with the noodles and then it’ll just be a few more minutes.”

He blinked and looked at the blob she was folding in her hands. “That’s noodles?”

“Yep.”

“What’s wrong with the kind in the box at the store?”

“Nothing. Until you’ve had these.” She was turning the dough in her hands, huffing, really seemed to be getting a workout.

Clyde whimpered at her feet and she turned, pointing down at the clueless dog. “No. Go away. You already ate my cookies this morning.”

Drew frowned. “You had cookies.”

“Yes. I made a batch of cookies, ran to the bathroom real quick only to come back and find the plate empty and chocolate paw prints on the counter. On the
counter
!”

He grimaced. “A hungry, untrained dog.” He reached down and grabbed Clyde’s collar. “I’ll go crate him so you don’t have to worry about supper.”

She nodded and went back to flipping and turning the white ball. Drew ran Clyde to his cage in the living room. He tried explaining that he couldn’t eat people food without it being offered, but by the tilt of the dog’s head, it wasn’t sinking in.

Drew returned to the kitchen and what he really wanted. And it wasn’t any damn vegetable.

“Wash your hands before you touch anything.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

She slanted him a look as he washed and dried his hands.

“Tip though, I wasn’t coming back here to play with the food.” He cupped her shoulders and smoothed his hands down her lean arms. “I want to play with the cook.”

“If you want to play with the cook, you can help me fix dinner first. Hands in the dough.”

He gave in and followed her arms down, over her hands and took the dough. She pulled her hands back and he worked the dough as she had. Turning it, folding it, pushing it.

She slouched against his chest and leaned her head back on his shoulder. “Mm. Thank you. My arms were getting tired.”

He turned the dough over. It was tougher than it looked. “I can imagine.”

She sprinkled a bit of flour over the dough and his hands. He turned it. White clouds puffed up in the air as he worked for a couple of seconds and then it all blended through.

“Let me see it.”

He released the dough only to grab her and bring her firmly against him. Her bottom pressed against his hardening cock. Her thighs flush to his. He trailed soft kisses behind her ear and down her neck. “I thought of you all day.”

“Did you?” She was working on the dough again. Her body jerked and rocked against his as she worked.

“You have the softest hair. After you fell asleep last night, I ran my fingers through it for an hour before I finally nodded off. And your skin is like butter.” He dropped the back of his hand down her arm.

“Butter?” She stopped and glanced over her shoulder.

“Mm-huh. Smooth, soft, creamy, sweet.”

She flopped the dough out on the counter and handed him the rolling pin. “Roll.”

He pushed the utensil away with a backhanded swat. “You roll. I want to keep touching you.”

“I can’t work with you saying this dirty stuff in my ear.”

He tried to look offended. “I haven’t said one dirty thing.”

Her hand flicked up I the air. “It’s not what you’re saying, but how.”

He grinned. “You’re hearing things. If I wanted to be dirty, I would just say I want to reach under that short skirt you’re wearing and see if you’re wet and waiting for me.”

She stilled, listening. Waiting for more.

Oh, he’d take that challenge. “And I bet you are. I bet your warm center would coat my fingers. Your thighs would squeeze my hand as I turned my finger up inside you and rubbed that spot I know you like. And your eyes would be big as I lifted my hand and sucked your taste off each one of my fingers. What do you think?”

“I…”

He grabbed her hips and pulled her flush to his and let her feel what she did to him. “You would want me to clear that kitchen table and set you on it. Forget taking your clothes off. By the time we got to that part, you’d just want it. I’d stand between your thighs, tear your panties off and fill you in one thrust. You are wearing panties, aren’t you,
Lette
?”

A swallow audibly moved down her throat.

“Aren’t you? Wearing panties?” He slid his hands down the soft cotton of her skirt. His blood was pounding through his ears as he lifted his hands along her bare thighs, raising her skirt high enough, but not enough to see. He pressed kisses to her neck and left a teasing bite to her ear.

His knuckles were slapped with a wooden rolling pin for his efforts.

Lette
stepped out of his arms. “Roll, mister.”

He sighed rubbing his sore knuckles. “Yes, ma’am.” He kissed her neck. “I like it when you’re bossy.”

“Does that mean I should order you around more often?”

“Anytime you like, sweetheart.” He winked. He put the rolling pin on the dough and started rolling. “And
Lette
?”

She paused at the sink while washing her hands and looked at him.

“I will find out if you’re wearing panties or not, but I can wait. And think about it. Picture your swollen flesh and wonder if it’s naked. From this moment, that’s what I’ll be thinking about until I see.”
