“You have the most inappropriate sense of humor,” Logan remarked, heading toward her, damp washcloth in hand. He knelt in front of her and pressed the wet cloth to her inner thigh.

“I should be doing that,” Connor muttered. “I’m the one who did that to her.”

Rolling his eyes, Logan continued upward, gently dabbing the rag on her tender flesh. “And I’m the one who’s cleaning her up.”

Lexie shook her head. “Really, you guys, it’s not that bad.”
God, just enjoy the attention and stop whining.
On a second thought, she sighed and leaned her head against Owen’s shoulder, fingers entwined with Connor’s. “That feels wonderful, Logan. Thank you.” How many men would do what Logan was doing right now—cleaning up her slippery mess from making love with his brother?
None
. And it was all because he cared about her.

Luckiest girl in Wyoming.

After Logan finished, she saw him grudgingly eye Connor then sigh. “You should get some rest, honey.”

They were leaving? “You’re not going to…?”

Logan shook his head. “Not tonight.” She looked over at Owen who was nodding in agreement. “Logan’s right, darlin’. Much as it pains me to admit it, you’re probably too sore to take all three of us tonight.”

Just like that, she was going to have to spend another night alone. Was that how it would always be?

She was about to ask the question when Owen rose and issued Connor a pointed stare. “First time ever being jealous of my own brother.”

Bewildered, she listened as Logan answered. “It’s only fair that you and Connor spend the night together. Tomorrow, it’ll be me or Owen.”

So that was their game. “Will you pull straw then, or do I get to choose who I sleep with each night?”

“The decision will be ours, although we’ll always take into consideration your feelings on the matter.”

She whipped her head to Connor. “Did you all agree to this beforehand, before I even came here?”

“We did.” His tone was hard, uncompromising like Logan’s.

Lexie stared at Owen now. “Really? I don’t get to decide who I spend the night with?”

“Calm down. There’s no other way to do it. We’ll trade off time with you since most nights you won’t be fucking just one of us, but all three.”

She slapped a hand to her head. “You guys are insane. I swear to God, you guys have to be crazy.”

“I believe we told you this from the beginning.”

“I know,” she whispered, “but damn I never expected it would be so…” She struggled to find the right word.

Logan glowered. “You mean you assumed we’d end up letting you have your own way?”

She pursed her lips. “Maybe. My way could be good, too. Why can’t the three of us sleep together?”

An awkward silence filled the room until Owen dropped a kiss on the top of her head and smiled. “You think about that one for a while.”

“What did I say?” she asked innocently.

Connor stroked her hand. “You were joking, weren’t you?”

“No, I wasn’t.” She gawked at them both. “It’s a king-size bed. It’s big enough. I don’t see a problem. Do you?”

“God, almighty,” Logan blasted. “Lexie, the four of us will never share a bed. I love my brothers, but in no way shape or form do I wish to be closer to them than deemed necessary.”

The door clicked, and she turned to Connor. “Guess this means you have me all to yourself tonight, Kincaid. You happy?”

Why was she suddenly feeling nervous? Then again, if she’d been left alone with Logan or Owen after what she had done with them, the same nervousness would have settled in, after the gravity of her situation had time to sink in. These men were now a part of her. Connor more so than the others.
For now
.

He drew her into his arms and laid her on the bed. Another minute to undress and he was beside her, their heads resting side by side on the pillow.

“I thought for sure you were going to choose Logan or Owen to be your first.”

Lexie grinned. “Well, Logan was my first in a different way.” God, she was cruel bitch to bring that up. But it had to be said. For as long as she didn’t give her heart to them, there was still time for any of them to change their minds and once they did, she would be all right, okay to move on with her life.
I hope.

Connor shifted so her head rested on his shoulder. “You’re worried that it bothered me to see you with my brothers.”

“That’s no secret.”

He laughed in the dark of the bedroom. “No, you’re not one for secrets. I can promise you, you don’t have to worry. I meant what I told you the other night. You’re good for us, baby. It doesn’t just feel like we’re living each day for the ranch. I know Owen and Logan feel the same way, too. They’re happier, Logan most of all, and it’s all because of you.”

“I feel the same way, but I guess that’s strange. A woman isn’t supposed to want or need more than one man. I have you, and you’re everything I’ve ever wanted, but…I’m selfish, and it’s not enough.”

“Is it because you see something in Logan and Owen, too?”

She nodded. “Yes. Maybe we’re all messed up in the head. I want all three of you, and none of you have a problem sharing me. What do you think will happen when people find out about us?”

His chest rose heavily. “Ah, who knows? More important, who cares? People in this town care more about being paid and feeding their families. Unless they want to turn on the hand that feeds them, they’ll know better than to get involved in what doesn’t concern them.”

He was right. The majority of workers in Oak Creek were employed in the sugar beet factory, and many of the men found work, even if it was temporary, on the ranch. The only person she knew for sure who would give them problems was Deputy Warren. Thankfully, she hadn’t seen him since their encounter in the jail cell.

“Any more questions?”

Lexie smiled, hearing the humor in his voice.

“Just one. Are we going to make love again?” She was half serious, half joking.

“You’re not too sore?”

“A little, but I liked the way it felt.”

Connor nodded and grinned. “I bet you did. We’re going to keep you filled with cock, Lexie. That’s one thing you won’t have to worry about.” He circled his hands around her waist, lifting her on top to straddle him.

“Your first lesson in riding bareback.”

Chapter Eleven

Lexie gave herself a quick once-over in the hallway mirror before dashing out of the house. Logan was already behind the steering wheel of the Cadillac SUV beeping the horn.

“You know
nothing
about women.” Lexie sank into the leather seat and glared at him.

Shifting her gaze toward the back row, she smiled at Owen and Connor who each sat beside a tinted window.

“I’m marking down tonight as our first official date. The four of us.”

Owen chuckled. “You ever been to the Bull’s Eye Club before?”

Lexie shook her head. Who would’ve taken her? “I didn’t think this place would be my sort of thing, but I guess you could say I’m open to a lot of things now ever since you guys bulldozed your way into my life.”

“It’s one of the best clubs around without having to drive into a bigger city. You’ll like it.” Owen winked at her.

“What about you and Logan?” she asked, looking between Connor and Logan.

“I’ve only been there one or two times,” Logan said. “Owen is the regular there. Don’t be surprised if you encounter members of his fan club,” he added drily, looking back with an eyebrow raised at Owen.

Owen shrugged. “Lexie knows she’s the only one that matters, don’t you, darlin’?”

“All I can say is, when I start stepping on your feet, I hope you don’t go running off to the girls in your fan club.”

Connor started laughing. “Are you trying to say you can’t dance?”

“Well…I wouldn’t say
can’t
. That’s a strong word. The last person I danced with was my father, and that was just me as a child doing whatever and crushing the poor man’s toes.” She tapped her chin. “I guess that doesn’t really count, though.”

“Yeah, but they usually have a lot of dances at the local high school. Didn’t you attend any of them?”

“Hmm. Being the only black girl in high school, you’d think I’d have them lined up at the door, right?”

Expressions blank, she knew her sarcasm had escaped them. “Um. That would be a no, Kincaid. Seems even the lowest have their standards and hence the reason why Princess Alexa Grey was a very horny twenty-two-year-old virgin, just waiting for her three princes to ride her into the sunset.”

Logan lifted an eyebrow at her while keeping his focus on the road, but it was Owen who snorted and said, “As of last night, Connor’s the only one who’s had the privilege of riding you.”

Was he jealous? Logan, too? “Is this a reminder?” she asked in a hushed tone.

His features hardened. “More like a warning. The only reason me and Logan didn’t approach you this morning was because we knew Connor had more than likely fucked you a few more times during the night…what we would have done.”

“So, in essence, you were giving me time to heal?”

Owen nodded.

“I see. And if I told you and Logan that I was still sore, not in the mood tonight?”

Logan glanced over at her. “That’s not an option. You should always be in the mood to accept us.”

Words that would signal alarm bells in any sane person sent her temperature rising. Yet she kept on pushing. “Isn’t that the same as forcing me?”

“This is different, honey. If your cunt isn’t always wet and ready for us, then my brothers and I are doing something wrong.”

Hmm. He did have a point. Who was she to argue if they wanted to keep her aroused?

By the time they pulled up to the club, Lexie was ready to kick back, step on some boot-clad toes, and shoot a dagger or two if needed at any woman who dared to set her sights on Owen…or Connor. Logan, too, for all his surly goodness.

* * * *

Normally, Owen came alive from the attention of the women in the club. A month ago, on his last visit, he had taken up the offer from one of the women, bringing her back to his truck. As soon as he’d opened the door, he slammed it, escorting her back into the club. The woman would have just been a pitiful substitute for the chocolate beauty he had been thinking of all the time.

Now that Lexie was here with him, instead of the usual rooster in the henhouse act he’d put on, it was more embarrassing than anything else. He didn’t want his girl to have to deal with any of the sluts he’d fucked in the back of his pickup.

“Come on.” She grabbed his hand and dragged him off to the jam-packed dance floor. “You’re my first victim for the night.”

They pushed past the throng of couples crowding the dancehall, Owen taking brief notice at a brunette who was bent over, ass upturned and grinding against her companion.

“I’m not doing that,” Lexie warned, her gaze following his.

Owen crossed his hand over her ass, rocking his hips into her center. “Not right here, but you will before the night is over.”

Before she had a chance to answer, the music tempo sped up, and less than a second later she somehow managed to stumble over her own foot.
