She hadn’t been kissed like this in a very long time, and it felt wonderful to be touched this way again—with Jordan. She knew she was getting caught up in the moment, but at this point, she didn’t care. Cassie liked the way his hands caressed her body, turning her on in places she hadn’t experienced pleasure in a very long time. She wanted to feel like her body was alive, and that was how Jordan was making her feel. Cassie was his for tonight, and that was something she did not want to change.

“Mm,” he murmured into her ear as his penetrating kisses trailed along her neck. “You haven’t changed since the last time we did this.”

Cassie shook her hair free from the elastic band keeping her it in place so that it cascaded out around her shoulders and down her back. “Ssh,” she said to him, “don’t talk. Just kiss me.”

No matter how much of a bad idea getting up close and personal with Jordan probably was, she couldn’t find the courage to voice aloud how much of a mistake it really was.

Her head was telling her one thing and her heart was telling her another but in the end she knew she could never back away from the burning desire to be with Jordan even if just for tonight only.

He had no idea how much she wanted him right now. She was being turned on in all the right places and needed to feel Jordan inside her.

Cassie knew she was contradicting herself in regards to admitting she and Jordan couldn’t be together again but at this point, that was getting blown right out the window. He was setting her world on fire, like old times.

Jordan lifted his head, staring into her pretty blue eyes, realizing she needed this as much as he did—maybe even more. He couldn’t resist the urge he had to make love to her right now. He was weak against the temptations.

Then in one swift move, he picked her up as she hooked her legs around his waist, and set her down on the kitchen countertop. Her legs curled around him like she was inviting him into her.

She played with the little bit of hair at the back of his neck as he began to explore every inch of her body using his warm mouth and strong hands. His nimble fingers worked through the buttons of her shirt, eager to get it open and toss it to the floor.

Soon enough, the shirt went, and Jordan was burying his face into her cleavage with kisses as he used his hands to snake their way around her back, slowly unhooking her bra and freeing her sweet breasts.

Cassie slipped her hands underneath his t-shirt, running them up and down his back and helping him to take it off, pushing it over his head until Jordan was shirtless too. His muscular torso felt so good against her soft flesh.

Oh God, she was on display for her ex-boyfriend and emotions were running high. Her body wasn’t like it had been the last time he saw all of her. For one, she’d had a baby, so her body had been stretched to make room for her son, and labor wasn’t as easy as she would have liked it to be. Jake was delivered by caesarean due to his heart rate precipitously decreasing, and it would have been dangerous had they waited to deliver him naturally. She had the scar to prove it.

Jordan’s hands roamed her tummy, and his touch sent heat through Cassie’s body like she was on fire. His finger traced along the only scar she had, and Jordan knew it was something he hadn't seen before.

His gaze lifted from where his finger traced to her sparkling eyes.

“Is this—”

Cassie cut him off before he could finish, putting one finger to his lips and shushing him. They both knew what it was.

She nodded her head. “Yes,” she mumbled into his neck.

He pulled her back, then his mouth plunged down onto hers once more as his kisses intensified, becoming more passionate than before.

“Oh, fuck, Cass, I’m sorry I wasn’t here for you,” he moaned into her mouth.

She cupped his face in her hands, staring into his apologetic eyes. She couldn’t be mad with him.

Not now.

Not when she was craving his touch like it was the air she breathed.

“It’s okay. You’re here now.” Her hands slipped to the waistband of his jeans and she fiddled with the top button, which was surprisingly trickier than it used to be. Once she got it undone, one of her hands went down the front of them, instantly coming in contact with his very welcome member. Jordan shuddered at her touch. He’d always liked it when her hands paid close attention to him with long, slow strokes. Her warm, soft hands felt incredible on him.

Jordan pushed against her, slowly grinding against her body. He could feel her warmth down below, and he hadn’t even gotten there yet. The build-up and knowledge of what was to come was obviously enough for the both of them to feel unbelievably aroused by each other.

Her body may have changed, but her needs had not.

She wanted him just as much as he wanted her.

Despite how much of a mistake this
togetherness
probably was, their bodies were telling them just how much they wanted and needed to be together.

The remaining clothes they were wearing came off until there was nothing but a scattered mess in the middle of the kitchen floor.

Their mouths fused together avidly, Jordan’s tongue seeking refuge inside Cassie’s, and then he continued to blaze a trail of mouth-watering kisses down her body until he got to her breasts, taking one nipple in his mouth and slowly but surely nipping it with his teeth, making Cassie yelp out in pleasure. His other hand caressed her other breast softly before he found her warm wetness, rubbing her gently and slipping one finger inside. He dipped in and out in a slow movement, which only inclined her need more and more.

The anticipation was killing her. She was eager to feel their bodies together again.

Cassie arched her back, curling her legs around him even tighter, and clenched her fists together in an effort to restrain the arousal she was feeling. She threw her head back and her long blonde hair cascaded down her back radiantly. Her whole entire body was begging for him to be inside of her. She needed him now, and she didn’t care she was now on full display from him. Nothing was left to the imagination, nor could she shield herself from him. His caramel skin fit perfectly against her paleness. His mouth found hers again, his tongue seeking entry into her mouth while his hands explored her every curve. Jordan liked the way her skin felt—smooth as silk. Her touch sent shockwaves through him. She always could make him feel as if he was a rush of fierce fire that was waiting to be alighted.

She was perfect for him.

Cassie placed her hands on Jordan’s hips, kissing his lips sweetly as she snaked a hand down to his manhood, making Jordan softly groan in appreciation of her touch. Feeling her hands rubbing against him was an amazing sensation, and it only intensified how big he already was.

She could see just how much Jordan wanted her. He was hard as a rock.

“Now,” Cassie insisted, urgency filling her voice. She wasn’t sure she could wait any longer.

Jordan took one look at Cassie’s ready face and knew she meant it. With his arms embracing Cassie’s small frame, he picked her up, his hands cupping her bottom as she locked her legs around his middle, and together, they lay down carefully onto the floor. Jordan positioned himself as he lay on top of her, carefully propping himself on his arms so he wasn’t putting all of his weight on her.

He took his time rediscovering Cassie’s body as he made his way down between her thighs. When he reached his target, he worked her with his tongue, smiling to himself as she let out a hushed moan. He couldn’t help but grind his lower body against the floor, anticipating what he was going to do to her. He increased the pressure until she hit her highest peak, continuing until the muscles of her legs weakened around him.

Jordan and Cassie drew their hands together, fingers interlacing as Jordan climbed over her and entered her slowly, gripping her hips gently with his other hand. He started out slow, pushing in and out of her at a gentle pace. Then Cassie began moving her hips in time with him, dragging her free hand up and down his back, gripping him for support as she kept up with his rhythm as his thrusts became a little more intense, a pool of sweat forming on his forehead. Her voice wept a soft moan as she noticed the look of longing in his eyes. He knew exactly how to make her feel good, as if her body was his instrument to play.

They were electrifying together, giving her a toe-curling sensation as heavy breathing filled the kitchen. Jordan continued to hit her spot in just the right way, their mouths fusing together with mind-blowing kisses and pushing each other over the edge until both couldn’t hold out any longer. Cassie quickly reached her climax and exploded, and as her body tightened around him, Jordan thrust a couple more times inside her before he too exploded when he heard his name cry from Cassie’s lips.

C
assie and Jordan lay entangled on the floor together; she rested her head in the crook of his arm, which was wrapped around her shoulders, and their hands entwined with each other’s.

“I guess we just christened my kitchen,” Cassie purred mellifluously, wearing nothing but Jordan’s button down shirt he had pulled around her. Jordan had pulled only his jeans back on, leaving his tattoos on full display for Cassie. She used one finger to slowly trace around his tattoos, a thought popping into her head about what they meant to him. She had never imagined Jordan being the type of man to actually get a tattoo, let alone four, but now she had to admit, he looked good with them.

Jordan grinned brazenly. “Mm, I guess we did. Any regrets?”

Jordan looked down at the same time Cassie looked up at him; their eyes collided, locking onto each other with a deep and momentous stare.

Cassie gave him a doe-eyed look, shaking her head. “I don’t think so. Should I be regretful that you’re the only guy I’ve ever truly been with like that?”

For the first time, Cassie really meant it; she didn’t regret what had just happened between them.

Jordan was stunned. She was a gorgeous girl, and even when they dated, she’d always gotten attention from guys. “No other man has been with you how we were?”

Cassie shook her head. “Not even close,” she answered quietly. “I guess I’ve had other priorities in life. Besides, I don’t do that kind of thing with just anybody—they have to have my heart first.”

Jordan had her heart. He was flattered to know even after all this time she still cared deeply about him.

“So...your bedroom has never been christened either then?” Jordan winked at her with a twinkle in his eyes as his fingers combed through her shiny blonde hair.

Cassie laughed, knowing where he was going with this. She had often wondered how things would have progressed between the two if they had stayed together rather than broken up, and right now, Cassie liked to think she and Jordan would’ve been together the way they are right now. She knew it was probably something people like Gabby would laugh at if she were to confess her deeper desires, but she didn’t care. Their bodies lay tangled like nothing or anyone could ever come between them.

“Nope, never, but I’m willing to change that.”

The words escaped her mouth before Cassie realized what she offered her ex-boyfriend, but Jordan didn’t seem to mind. She was seductively teasing him without even trying, and Jordan liked every inch of this side of her. He bowed his head down, placing his thumb on Cassie’s chin and giving her a soft but sensual kiss on her lips as his other hand cupped her bare bottom.

Suddenly, Cassie slapped her hand over her mouth in shock.

“Oh, shit!” Her eyes scanned the kitchen, looking at the pile of clothes they’d made on the floor.

“What, babe?” Jordan asked, nuzzling his nose around Cassie’s ear with a smile as his arms lovingly wrapped around her body.

She relaxed and tucked herself further into his embrace, blissfully enjoying this warm moment. “Nothing, I guess. I just hope Jake doesn’t wake up and come out to get a drink of water. If he does, he’s in for a huge surprise that he’s never seen before.”

“Does he have a tendency of doing that?”

Cassie shrugged her shoulders. “Sometimes, but thankfully, it doesn’t happen a lot, and I think tonight’s festivities wore him out enough to make him sleep through the night.”
