“What the fuck?” Jacob spoke aloud, standing up and pacing around the room. He redialled, getting the same woman. “Look, I wanted to know if it was a possibility. Obviously not, so let’s move on, shall we?” She tried to stop him, but he tutted at her then continued. “I want to book him for dinner, nothing more. It wouldn’t be alone if that makes you feel any better.”
“This weekend?”
“Saturday evening.”
She laughed loudly and Jacob could almost imagine the tears streaming down her face. “Honey, you were lucky to get him last time. Dominque’s booked up for months in advance. I told you, you probably underestimated what I meant, but he’s our
star
escort. The
most
popular. The one
everyone
wants.” She sighed heavily. “He’s cutting down his hours too, so it’s even harder to get him for you. I have similar—”
“No!” Panic rose in him. He had to get Dominque. Allan and Bettina wouldn’t take kindly to him turning up with someone else when they were expecting Dominque. “It has to be him. I could rearrange the date.”
“It really would be a long time. I’ll have to double check with him personally.”
“Could you please let him know Bettina is eager to meet him again? She’s been…” Jacob sighed.
“Oh, her.” The woman laughed. “Oh, I've heard
all
about her. She stalking you too?”
“Is she bothering Dominque? I can speak to her.”
“No-no, sugar. He likes her. Gets to speak his native language. It’s just… you know. You and him…” She sighed. “You didn’t want him. He’s still not got over that fact. He’s very…”
“Eager to please.” Jacob finished off when she paused.
“Sensitive. Easily hurt. You rejected him. I’d rather not book you for him again.”
“I didn’t reject him.”
I craved him so deeply it physically hurt to be next to him
. “You’re his friend I take it?”
“
Best
friend,” she said smugly down the phone.
“Right, so… How about this, if Dominque can fit me in, I swear to be better behaved.”
“How much better?”
Jacob tutted loudly. “Percentage-wise?”
“Ugh. You're hard work. Also, this bondage thingy?”
“The bondage thingy? It was a bad joke. You bothered me.”
“That's not funny.”
“Surely it’s not the most…
exotic
thing someone has requested.”
“Well, no. I’ve heard everything, and I mean
everything
. But we have specialist escorts for those types of things. Dominque’s not on those lists anymore.”
The word ‘anymore’ rang loud and clear in his ears but he didn’t mention it, quickly moving on as if he didn’t care. “So, you’ll be contacting him?”
“Yeah, I’ll call him. Give me an hour.”
An hour. Jacob sat down at his laptop, looking around his sitting room and sighing. It would be a
very
long
hour.

ominque was sitting in the back of a taxi with Angelique after a very stern discussion with her headmaster. “I can’t believe you’ve been knocking off. I mean, how much do I pay for you to go there, and you just don’t turn up? I could have saved a grand with the time you missed. How could you, Angie? You’re lucky they’re letting you sit the exams.”
“I hate it there.”
“No, you love it. You just hate actually doing work. You're so lazy it’s unreal. Well, get this, there’s no trip at Christmas with your friends, and there’s no holidays or spending money coming your way. Not until you get your grades up.”
“No way! You can't do that.”
“I will. I mean, I just did.” The car pulled up and he watched as she stormed off, slamming the door behind her. “I'm sorry,” he apologised to the driver. “She’s… seventeen.”
“Yeah, got one of them at home.” The driver took the cash from him, giving him the once over as he did. “Young to be her dad, aren’t you?”
“Brother.”
He nodded, handing over his change. “Good luck.”
“Thanks.” Dominque smiled as he got out. “I think I’ll need it.”
Angelique was in her room when he got inside, and shouting at her to come down didn’t do any good. He decided to let her cool off while he made a cup of tea. Maybe she’d be all grown up about it and see the error of her ways. Dominque snorted loudly. Yeah, right!
He checked his messages as the kettle boiled. He saw two from Suzie and sighed. Despite cutting down his future bookings, they were still pushing him to do more, but with everything going on at home, he couldn't take the amount of clients he wanted to.
He paused seeing who wanted to book him. Jacob.
The man had been on his mind since they last met, but the last thing Dominque expected was to see another booking. He sent a one word reply back. Why? Then he waited as he made his tea. He got a quick reply back.
Date only. Down to your new BFF Bettina hassling him.
Oh. Dominque understood immediately. He’d wondered if she would call Jacob up pressing him to meet up again. Bettina had talked to him regularly over the last two weeks, and despite the fact he liked her, he couldn't be honest and meet up with her knowing how things were with Jacob. He thought he would give it another month then say they’d split up, but now there was this date. The date he didn’t have to take.
I don’t know. This Saturday? It’s so soon. No time to plan and no sitter for the evil one
I’ll do it if you want to fit him in
Let me think about it xxx
Dominque thought hard for half an hour, and then decided to do something he only did when he had to play a specific role. He asked for Jacob’s direct contact details and booked the date in with the office.
He decided to set the date in stone by emailing him. This way there would be no confusion and he would have the details in writing to refer back to later. After putting together a professional, but short email, he pressed send, reading back his email and feeling more nervous than he usually ever did. When he received a reply back ten minutes later, he opened it up, biting his nails as he read it.
Good Morning, Dominque,
Thank you for contacting me regarding our next meeting. I appreciate you fitting me in on such short notice, and that you understand the situation with Bettina.
I’ve included the restaurant’s name where we will be going, but I’d like to collect you from your hotel and arrive together. The meal is booked for eight, so I’d like to pick you up at seven. It’s smart casual—no dress code this time. Please forward me the details of where you will be staying.
As for specific details of what I require from you, there’s just one. To be yourself, or at least the Dominque I met the last time. As before, I don’t require anything other than companionship for the evening, and unlike last time, I promise you will be back in your own bed by midnight. Unmolested and pleasantly full.
I’m available on here if you need any further information.
Regards,
Jacob.
Dominque sipped his tea while he reread it for the third time. No sex again. So Jacob hadn't changed his tastes, the date was just to fool his friends. He shook his head and typed back a less professional email
Jacob,
You could be setting yourself up for a long play with this one. Do you really want to continue this? It could end now. People break up all the time. I would still be professional and never speak of our business arrangement, and continue my friendship with Bettina separately. I'm concerned this could end up being a regular thing, and I don’t think you want that with me.
Plus, it would cost you a fortune. :D I’m happy to continue, but will understand if you change your mind.
D.
Dominque knew of men who paid for a regular companion, but it was much more than Jacob wanted from him. They usually involved an escort playing the full boyfriend role, sex and everything else. It was still a fantasy for the client, and in most cases they would never meet anyone like the men they paid for, but like all relationships, they develop the longer they exist.
Some escorts only worked for one client, set up in their own place and paid a monthly fee, left to do as they please most of the time but jump when they’re needed. It appealed to Dominque once, but you receive a lot less money overall. It could be something he would think of now, especially without the sex. That way he could just be friends with the client and find someone else. Maybe this could work out to his advantage.
I’m willing to continue with this right now. Obviously I don’t want this to continue for much longer, but I’ve had little time to think about it. Perhaps we can discuss this further on our next date?
Jacob.
Dominque sighed. He felt for Jacob being stuck in such an awkward position. Hopefully things would be better between them this time. It must be horrible paying money to spend time with someone you really didn’t want to be with.
But, at the end of the day, it was his money, and he could choose to spend it how he wanted. He just didn’t strike Dominque as the type of person to waste his hard earned cash, and he was positive any money he gave to Dominque would be better spent on his charity work. Maybe that's what this was all about though, getting more money or something from the big guy. If Dominque thought he was helping in that way, then things seemed easier.
He sent through the name of the hotel he would be staying in, the one where they always stayed when they had dates in London, then called Suzie up to fit Jacob in and asked her to stay the night with Angelique. He’d have to spend at least Saturday night there.
He had three days until his next date. Three days to sort out shit with Angie and hopefully calm himself with a coffee and a gossip with Kieran. He would put the sexy blond doctor to the back of his mind. Or try to, because it hadn't worked so far and he had two weeks. There was something about the man, and Dominque knew what it was but didn’t want to think about it. It was the dominance. The control, the caring nature he had within him, but kept so distant from people.
The man had layers which Dominque wanted to peel back, but he knew he shouldn’t. It couldn't get too deep. It was a rule, a big one, and one he had lived by for the last six years. Never care for a client. Closely followed by never trust a client.
No matter what they said or did, Dominque knew there was always a selfish reason behind it. They played a part with him. Just as he did with them. They were never real and so they never got the real Dominque, but Jacob… He was different. He didn’t play a game with him. How he treated Dominque, he treated everyone else.
That’s why Dominque had let his guard down and slipped into his real life persona. Using his real name didn't help, of course, but he had little chance to think of another and it slipped out. So now he was using his real name with a client, and that was a first. Hearing Jacob use it was too much. Dominque reacted like he would do at home and it shook him up.
The whole night was a mess, but he was positive the next date would go better. He just had to prepare himself for it this time.
J
acob waited patiently in the lobby of the hotel Dominque was staying at, acting like he was calm and collected when really he was more nervous than a teenager going on his first date. He repeated firmly in his mind this wasn’t a date, it was business. Despite living in a fantasy world where he’d imagined fucking Dominque for the past three weeks, he wouldn’t let it happen. It couldn't. He didn’t have sex with anyone outside of the scene. He didn’t have time to train a new sub. He didn’t want to get emotionally involved with someone he paid for. Those were the big reasons running over and over.
“Jacob.” The sweet voice behind him poured over Jacob like thick honey, coating him and holding him captive in his stance.
Jacob turned slowly, meeting those big chestnut brown eyes of Dominque’s with his own and offering a curt smile. “Dominque.” He held out his hand, but Dominque quickly moved forward, kissing his cheek, and he found his hand resting on the firm flesh of Dominque’s hip.
“We’re not business buddies. We’re playing a role.” Dominque smiled as he stepped back. “Generally, boyfriends don’t shake hands when they haven't seen each other in three weeks.”
“If this was real, and we hadn't seen each other in three weeks, I would expect more than a peck on the cheek.” Jacob smiled wider, trying to make amends for how brutally he treated Dominque on the first date.
“Well…” Dominque checked his watch. “We have thirty minutes to spare and my room’s just upstairs.” A perfectly shaped brow tilted upwards suggestively, thick bottom lip toying between his teeth as a hooded gaze met Jacob’s and heated him up to an almost volcanic level. Dominque laughed when he met Jacob’s gaze. “Don’t panic, I won't bother you with extras. I know what I'm here for.”
“Thank you.” Jacob adjusted his collar, loosening it a little. Flirting wasn’t going to improve his already excited state. The thought of hoisting Dominque over his shoulder and storming upstairs for rampant, animalistic sex made his traitorous cock stiffen, and he was overly aware of how tight his pants became over his length.
All he had to do was look at a picture of the sexy brunette and he got hard. Embarrassingly, he'd jerked off looking at the picture on Dominque’s profile, caught up in his fantasies with the many things Jacob needed from his body.
He coughed slightly, sliding an arm around the slender waist of his date and moving them to the door. “Bettina has been a constant bother. I'm sorry to hear she’s been the same way with you. I hate causing you issues, but then I guessed you enjoyed her company if you gave her your number. I didn’t even get that.”
Jacob winced. That last bit wasn’t supposed to slip out, but it bothered him. He’d even considered coming up with some wild lie so he could get it from Bettina.
“I don’t hand it out to everyone for obvious reasons.”
“No, and I understand that.”
Sort of.
Jacob tutted inside. Of course Dominque shouldn’t hand out his personal details. It was an irrational emotional response which he had to let go of. “That's good to hear. I would hate to think of clients bothering you.”
Like me for instance.
The scent coming from Dominque was spicy and heavy, and Jacob leaned in closer, taking in the distinctive smell of him. He’d missed that unique smell and he had barely any time to become accustomed to it. He hardly knew this man and yet he was drawn to him in a way he had never experienced before. Never had he craved another like Dominque. It frustrated and excited him at the same time. “You look lovely.” He rolled his eyes back then clamped them closed soon after.
Dominque slowed but didn’t stop walking. Obviously Jacob wasn’t the only one surprised to hear that little compliment slip out. “Thank you. You look very handsome yourself tonight.”
Jacob had spent far too much time over his outfit, going through several options before he eventually grabbed a pair of light grey, fitted trousers, pairing them up with a T-shirt and a suit jacket. Smart casual was his thing and he felt good. He was irritated he'd spent so long choosing what to wear, and he hated he’d chosen something clingy which showed off his gym toned body. Maybe he was trying too much, but looking over Dominque beside him, he wasn’t the only one who’d dressed that way.
It was a warm evening, and Dominque was wearing what had to be designer jeans. They rested low on his hips, encasing his bubble butt in all the right places, and hugging his slender legs. God, what legs. So long.
Jacob was so busy checking him out he walked past the car and had to stop abruptly, turning them both around and sighing. “Sorry. Busy day. I'm not quite with it.”
“It’s okay.” Dominque was beside him as Jacob opened the door to the passenger side. “You work hard. I can imagine how tiring it must be for you. You should be at home resting.”
“I will be, just not for another four hours or so.” He ushered Dominque inside and blew out a slow breath. This was going to be a
long
night.
As he drove off, encased in his BMW, the smell of Dominque was so enticing he felt like pulling over, climbing over the gear stick and attacking his mouth. Kissing, he didn’t do. Not with anyone, but with Dominque…
He looked over at him, sitting there so perfectly, hands laid in his lap, head tilted down as he looked at the view of the busy roads slipping by. Those lips pouted naturally, and they were so pink, lush and full, begging for a mouth or some
other
body part inside him which Jacob couldn't think about right then.
“Have we really not seen each other since the last time, or have you other ideas?” Dominque’s question dragged his mind from slipping further into the gutter, and he cleared the huskiness from his throat before he spoke.
“I would think we would have met up during those weeks.” Jacob hadn't given the plan much thought. He wasn’t going to mention it, but obviously Bettina would ask them. He couldn't imagine having Dominque as his and not seeing him at every available moment. “But then we both work and there’s the distance to consider.”
“Perhaps we spent the last weekend together.”
“That works with me. Here or in Leeds?”
“Were you seen out at the weekend?”
“Nope.”
“Then here will work for me. The less I talk about home the better.”
“We should have thought of another city for you to live in.”
“Usually I would develop a character for times like these, but it was a spur of the moment issue. Like the name.” He smiled, then his mouth opened up in a cute O.
“What about your name?”
“Dominque
is
my name.” He looked over at Jacob. “My
real
name.”
“Oh.” Jacob nodded. “Okay. Well, if it’s any consolation, I like it a lot.”
“Thank you.”
“Suits you.”
Dominque smiled softly before he looked out of the window again.
Jacob took a short breath, flashing his gaze from the road to Dominque before he spoke again. “Your friend, the lady who answers the phone at the office…”
“Suzie,” he offered.
“Yes. She mentioned certain… She said I’d upset you.”
Dominque pursed his lips tighter, but didn’t say anything.
“I wanted to apologise for how I acted the last time we met. It was a shock seeing you there.” He cleared his throat a little. “I was very proud of you that night, Dominque. You pleased me a lot.”
Dominque blushed as he slid his eyes over and looked through those heavy lashes. “I'm glad I pleased you in some way.”
Oh, there are many ways you could please me, Pet. So. Fucking. Many.
“You're very good at your job. Obviously you know this, so does everyone by the way you're booked up. You must be a superstar of the escort world. I guess I didn’t realise how lucky I am to have you with me.”
“I want to be here.”
“You don’t have to lie.”
“I'm not. I pick and choose who I take on. It’s easy to do that when you have a back list to choose from. I only take on those who I want.”
“Why me again after last time?”
Dominque smiled, dropping his gaze to his hands. “You didn’t want sex.”
“Oh.” Jacob turned his attention back to the road.
I’ve never wanted to fuck someone so badly in my entire life.
“I guess you have a lot of sex.”
“Yes.” Dominque smiled, one which didn’t reach his eyes and Jacob felt his stomach twist in response to the confusing emotions Dominque was displaying. “I do.”
There was that steel rod again up Jacob’s spine. He cursed himself for feeling such a white hot jealousy when he had no right to. “And it makes it easier choosing those you actually want to have sex with, I guess.”
“That’s not the be all of how I decided, and it’s not the money either.” Dominque bit his lip while he thought. “It’s still a job. It’s still choosing from men I’d not meet in my real life.”
“Men you wouldn’t choose to be with otherwise?” Jacob’s protective streak was becoming more apparent as they continued the conversation, and the thought of Dominque being with men he didn’t want, or enjoy, made Jacob flush red, sweat prickling his forehead.
“No.” Dominque quickly looked at him, perhaps sensing his temper rising, his hand almost moving to Jacob’s thigh, but stopping as he second guessed himself.
“Hey, don’t worry. It’s fine. We’re eating, not fucking—”
Unfortunately
. “—so don’t feel bad.” Jacob was still bristling about the fact Dominque chose him so he could have a break from sex. Like he didn’t want him for sex, but then did he actually want any of the men he fucked? “I'm thinking it would be nicer for you to be with men you wanted, who you found desirable.”
Me perhaps.
“It does, and I have men who I enjoy.”
Tell me who so I can beat the shit out of them.
“That’s good, but not all of them?”
“That would be an impossible task.” Dominque smiled.
“Do all your dates usually end up with sex?”
Jacob, why are you doing this to yourself?
“Yes.”
“And how many have you been on this week?”
For fuck’s sake, Jacob!
Dominque glanced at him. "It’s not the done thing to discuss that with clients.”
“A faux pas, I know, but as we’re not fucking…”
I really, really need to get him in bed. Or pull over and just do it in the car.
Dominque thought for a few moments, then seemed to be calculating in his head. “Five. Five different men anyway.” He looked into Jacob’s eyes again. “That’s a slow week.”
“Right.”
Right? Fuck no. No one should be touching him.
“And on a busy week?”
Jacob, you’ve had it wrong all these years. You’re no Dom, you're a fucking masochist.
“It could be double.” He rubbed his forehead.
“Ever added up how many me—”
“Please don’t.” Dominque looked from him and shut his eyes. “I haven't, and I don’t want to know.”
“Are you safe?”
“Always.” The reply was curt and a little sharper than Jacob had heard before.
“But mistakes happen.” Jacob was worried instantly about the amount of people Dominque had seen.
“We’re tested regularly. It’s a rule, one we all follow. Some of them don’t wear condoms, but I do. All the time, every time. I’ve never been with anyone without one.”
“Every client or…”
“Anyone. I’ve never been with anyone bare.”
“Wow!” Jacob grinned at him. The thought of being inside him naked, of being the first to fuck and come inside him. It got him stiffer than he liked in the small environment.
“I'm probably safer than you’ve been.”
“Ah well, I'm older, so…” He stopped. Even having ten years on Dominque, he wouldn’t come close to the numbers Dominque had been with. “I’ve not been the safest person when I was younger, but I am now, I have been for a long time. Like you, I don’t have sex without one. Not for over sixteen years.”
“Oh.” Dominque chuckled. “Wow! Do you miss it?”
“Yes.” Jacob answered so fast they both laughed. “Sure. I mean the condoms are super thin now, but it still feels great to actually
be
inside someone.”
