That's when I realized it was that guy Jake I
had talked to on the phone.

I did not want to speak to him only so I went
and took the speaker microphone from the reception desk.

I made a small fake cough to have everyone's
attention. I first waited for a dramatic effect I guess you could
call me a drama queen, then I got ready to tell them the news that
would either break their hearts or make them the happiest people in
the world.

I then
announced to the congregation in front of me "your grandfather is
alive and in good health."

Everybody started screaming in joy and giving
each other hugs. Some people I don't even know started also giving
me hugs and kisses. I felt like I was in the scene were people were
getting ready to die as the world was about to end, but then they
are told they are not going to die. Little did I know there's some
truth to that thought.

All that joy in me was shattered when I saw
that Gorgeous guy Jake I was now in love with... Ok mostly crushing
on, wrapping his arms around the waist of some hot blondie and they
looked like a couple.

I started thinking to myself I should have
known that a guy like that might already be taken. I even felt a
twang of jealousy when I saw the hot blondie give Jake a kiss on
the cheek. I wanted to hate her but I could not as she looked like
a nice person and was one of the people who hugged me.

I guess you could say I felt like a broken
hearted girl and wanted to shift into a mouse so I could creep out
of here. Literally!

I ignored them even though I was hurting
inside and I started talking to many people who were mostly
thanking me for saving their old man. This made me feel like I was
some super hero who's just saved the world as everybody was
complementing me on my hard work.

I noticed that most of the people had pale
skin and some similar features like Jake; I just thought to myself
maybe it's in their family gene. I was then surprised to see body
guards standing by the hospital door so this made me curious to
know which important person had visited the hospital.

Just as I was about to go and find Mike so I
can ask him about this, I noticed that the gorgeous guy I mean Jake
was staring at me. He then let go of the hot blondie he was holding
and started walking towards me and this made me check my back to
see if he is walking towards someone else behind me.

After I checked behind me I was surprised to
see him standing in front of me and really close. I had to fight
the urge to touch him knowing he had a girlfriend... that hot
blondie.

He first looked at me in a confused
expression then his next words surprised me.

"I was wondering if you would like to go and
eat dinner with me at a restaurant." He then asked me in that
melodic alluring voice of his that was very hypnotizing.

I mean he had a girlfriend and just because
he was gorgeous that did not mean he could date two girls at
once....or maybe he could.

So I rudely asked him

"Why?"

"I just want to thank you for saving my
Grandad." was his wonderful reply.

"I was not the only one who saved him why
could he just not take the whole operation team to dinner." I
thought to myself.

I declined him nicely and I told him "I'm not
hungry." but my stupid stomach deceived me and made an embarrassing
rumbling noise. He looked at me with the, I know your lying
expression then I ended up being forced to agree.

"Stupid Stomach!" I mumbled grumpily to
myself.

"I have to go and change into my normal
clothes." I told him first as I was still wearing my uniform.

I went straight to the changing room and I
took longer hoping he might just get the message and leave me
alone.

But "Nooooo." just as I was about to go home
thinking he was gone I saw him standing by the exit door waiting
for me and looking as gorgeous as ever.

"Wow today I don't know how many times I have
said the word gorgeous."

I then noticed him chuckle after I thought
that.

"How strange." I thought to myself.

I also noticed that the guards who were
standing by the exit door were gone and this made me feel a little
bit disappointed to think I did not get chance to meet this
important person.

"Its all Jake's fault." I mumbled to myself.
He looked at me with intense eyes just as I was coming to him that
it was making me feel nervous.

"What is Jake`s fault." he then asked me
innocently.

I was really surprised that he had heard my
mumbling so I just replied "nothing."

I first looked around hoping the blondie does
not see me as I knew I would not be happy if I saw my man going to
dinner with another woman.

Just as I was looking around I then noticed
Mike looking angrily at us but especially at Jake. His eyes were
blazing red with fire it was like he wanted to kill Jake but was
restraining himself. He looked very scary more like he wanted to
turn into a monster.

"Maybe his jealous of Jake." I thought to
myself as an excuse while I sensed something much darker about Mike
but did not want to look into it.

I also noticed Jake looking a bit agitated as
he noticed the way Mike was staring at us. My senses had started
sending warning bells that something strange was going on but I
ignored them.

"Men you can never understand them." I
thought to myself referring to Mike maybe being jealous while Jake
escorted me to his car.

Chapter 4

My jaw literally dropped when I saw us
heading to a car which cost the same amount as a mansion. I should
say it looked very expensive. He noticed my surprised expression at
his car and just flashed me an angelic grin which almost made my
legs feel all jelly.

Before I could open the car door he quickly
opened it for me.

"What a gentlemen or maybe he was just trying
to prevent me from putting a dirty little spot on his precious
expensive car." I thought to myself. It’s not like I was jealous of
his car or anything.

After I thought that I noticed him with a
smirk on his face like he trying to suppress a laugh. Maybe I had
said that aloud but I'm pretty sure I had not.

On the ride we were both quiet so I looked at
him for permission to turn his precious radio on. He nodded so I
started listening to one of my favorite stations and could not
resist singing in tune to some of the songs.

"You have a nice voice." he suddenly talked
to me. I just replied "thanks" while a big smile formed on my face
as he was the first person to tell me I have a nice voice. I guess
it was because I never actually sang in front of any person.

"So where are we going?" I then asked
Jake.

"To the golden cuisine restaurant just around
the corner." he replied me casually. Hmm I've never heard of it but
oh well there is a first time for everything.

Just as we arrived he opened the car door for
me to get out.

I've been living in this town all my life and
I did not even know a place like this existed.

There was a long line of people waiting to
get into the restaurant but just as I was about to enter the line
Jake gently pulled my hand and led me straight to the door.

When he touched my hand I swear felt
electricity surging through my body causing me to experience a nice
burning feeling and all twinkle inside.

"Why was this stranger making me feel like
this?" I thought to myself.

I looked towards the door Jake was leading me
and I had to rub my eyes to make sure I was seeing correctly as the
door looked like it was made of pure Gold.

There was a big and strong bouncer in front
of the door who looked really scary and surprisingly he did not
stop us from going in. The restaurant looked expensive and the
walls were also painted in gold. All the customers were dressed in
expensive clothes and jewelry making me feel like a bugger among
Royalty.

Even the waiters were better dressed than me
as I was just wearing casual clothes, my pink blouse, black jacket,
my blue jeans and sneakers. I guess you could say I was not a
fashionista but I really did not have time for clothes.

I just wore what I felt comfortable in. In my
own defense I had thought I was going home after work not to some
elegant golden cuisine restaurant.

Suddenly I heard Jake whispering in my ear
sending chills around my body,

"I think you look great." In that deep
angelic voice of his.

Wow I thought to myself, Is this guy a mind
reader? Then I dismissed the thought as I was fluttered by his
comment.

Meanwhile....

Unknown POV

"Your majesty." one of my guards dared to
speak.

"How dare you interrupt me when I'm
thinking?" I angrily snapped at him while sitting on my throne
chair. I paused to cool down so I did not end up getting my hands
dirty in the process of killing this bastard.

"Voice your reason for interrupting me!" I
shouted at him.

The guard just stood there first afraid to
talk.

"If you don't talk or if your reason is not
good enough..." An evil grin spread on my face as I told him,

"I promise to end your pathetic useless life
through an eternally painful death."

This caused him to speak,

"Sorry your majesty but there is a visitor
asking for your glorious majestic presence." "What for?" I snapped
at the guard.

"He says he has urgent valuable information
for you."

"Bring him in." I commanded the guard. Just
as he was going "wait!" I shouted causing him to stop and look at
me.

"If this person does not give me valuable
information just know that I'm making you kill your wife, kids and
your parents first in cold blood then yourself."

A smile formed on my face when I saw fear in
the guard's eyes as he knew I meant it and I liked it when I'm
feared.

"What are you waiting for, go and bring me
the visitor." I told the guard as he seemed to be just standing
there looking at me in shock.

"Yes your majesty." he bowed and went to
bring the visitor. A young man came in and he seems to be afraid
because of his body language. Well he better be afraid because I
was going to slowly butcher him or burn him alive if he wasted my
time for nothing.

"What's your name and what do you want
beast?" I asked him bitterly.

He first bowed then responded while
stuttering "My name is Mike and," He paused for a minute causing me
to shout at him.

"Don't waste my time you dumb idiot beast,
just tell me the valuable information you have!"

"It’s about the Vampires." he quickly
muttered.

That really got my attention when I heard the
word "Vampires." I loathed each and every one of those filthy
bloody creatures within every inch of my body.

"What about them?" I urged him to
continue.

"They came to the hospital and one took a
girl with him." he replied.

"A girl you say, what's her name?" I
curiously asked him.

The man looked like he wanted to avoid my
question meaning he knew this girl or liked her.

"Tell me now or you shall face my wrath!" I
angrily commanded him as I was not here to entertain some love
struck idiot.

"Yes Master." he answered like a puppet from
my commandment.

"It’s Sonia Clemton."

Just by hearing the Surname "Clemton." a loud
angry scream erupted from my mouth while causing the man in front
of me to burst into flames.

The restaurant was divided into two sections
the VIPs area and the normal area. Jake led me to the VIPs area and
I thought to myself how much money does this guy have?

But then we did not go to the VIPs area
instead we went upstairs to a private room which had a great view
of the ocean as the front walls were made of glass. The side walls
had aquariums and I could see fish and even a shark.

I had never seen anything like this and here
I thought places like this existed in movies only. There was
already a table made for him and a waiter waiting for us.

Jake looked at me while I was mesmerized at
the beauty of the room then he pulled a chair for me to sit and
ordered food for us speaking to the guy in Chinese. Once the food
arrived I dug in and it was delicious.

I had never tasted food this good. To tell
the truth I did not even know the name of the food I was eating. I
might just have been eating a dog or snake and not even know it but
then again even knowing that I would still eat it.

I started thinking to myself maybe there was
a prank or a joke this guy was playing on me. If there was I was
going to have fun kicking his butt because I had watched many
episodes of WWE wrestling. Plus I could not shape shift into
anything as there might be cameras so I would need my wrestling
skills.

This time Jake really started laughing and I
thought to myself what's funny?

So I checked my teeth to see if there is
something on them and I found nothing. So being annoyed I ask
him,

"What’s so funny?" and he looked at me and
answered in his deep alluring voice,

"Your thoughts are funny."

I rolled my eyes at this guy.

"Yeah right like you can read minds." I
jokingly added.

He started laughing again and this time it
was a deep angelic laugh and I found it really sexy.

He then leaned towards me across the table
and said,

"Sonia Clemton you are also even funny when
you talk."

I did not know whether to be angry or
fluttered that he thought I was funny but I liked the way he said
my name. My heart had tugged when he had slowly said each
syllable.

"So what's your full name?" I curiously asked
him.
