Cop phoned the transportation department and got the detail in front of Bob. Tayler was looking at the vehicle details report from the other side.

“ My god. Bob.. Rag was right “ Tayler almost screamed.

Bob could not understand what he meant.

“ Look Bob .. In the report if you read registration number N017 reverse way it reads like LION” Tayler kept on repeating.

Bob asked for the evidence chit. He read it in the reverse way.

“ Yes LION if read reversed way ..Is N017..” Bob agreed.

That means for last so many days we were looking for “ LION “ instead of looking out for “ NO17”.

Now Bob could find some dots emerging. He decided that with this evidence he could directly read the lady’s house , take her in preventive arrest. Any delay will alert her.

Bob and Tayler had decided to raid the lady’s residence late in the evening when the market street becomes somewhat silent. The arrangements to raid the house was done. The necessary permissions from the higher ups were obtained.

The team was waiting for the time to start the action.

Chapter 24

Uprooting the Evil Spell

Patrick and Ursula spent the next 2 days in Delhi visiting various places and doing some shopping. Paul and Liz also joined them for shopping. As promised to the kids Ursula purchased some clothes, toys and lot of sweets for them. The group left Delhi on Saturday morning via Frankfurt and reached USA safely. During this travel Ursula and Patrick was still thinking about Baba Guru Nath and rituals they underwent. Their inner mind was telling that the rituals would help them to get rid of the evil spell once for all. On Sunday morning they reached Mandeville.

In the last 15 days, front lawn grass had grown up. Patrick told Ursula that he will first set right the lawn and then only will go for showers. Ursula was more eager to place the lemons on the center table in the living room. As soon as she entered the house she kept those two sermonized lemons on the center table. She was exhausted due to the long air travel and went into the kitchen to make some coffee for both of them.

After the Coffee Patrick started leveling the grass with a lawn mower while Ursula got busy in cleaning the living room and kitchen. In the afternoon they had a light lunch and both of them had taken a quick nap. The kids were expected to arrive next day with their Grandma from Jersey.

In the evening both of them went to the Wall Mart to buy the provisions and vegetables. On the way they had dinner in the restaurant. As they approached home, Patrick started thinking whether the trouble would again start from night or Baba Guru Nath’s siddhis will stop the trouble from the evil spell.

That night the William’s put on the light for the whole night while they slept. Patrick had a peaceful night without any trouble. In the morning he woke up early and got ready for going to the factory. Due to fifteen days stress buster break due to sightseeing in India and also break from the torture of the evil spell, Patrick was looking fresh and energetic. Ursula could sense this. After breakfast he left for the factory.

At around 10 am, the kids with their Grandma returned from Jersey. As soon as Ursula opened the door both the kids hug her.

“We missed you mom” Both the kids told Ursula.

“What you and Dad brought for us from India “Victor asked.

“Lot of stuff .First get freshen up and then I will show you “Ursula told them. The kids obeyed.

Till noon Ursula and her mother was discussing about the India trip. Ursula narrated the sightseeing, the covering of various historical monuments and the overall impression of India. She also shared with her Baba Guru Nath and the rituals they had undergone. Meanwhile Kids were busy checking the clothes, toys and the sweets which was brought for them.

“Ursula do you believe that someone will come to pick up those lemon? “ Ursula’s mother asked.

“Mom I am sure. Baba Guru Nath explained the logic also “Ursula replied.

However Ursula’s mother was not convinced. She thought how a yogi situated thousands of kilometers away from USA would be able to stop the trouble.

In the afternoon when the doorbell rang, Ursula thought either a courier or a Postal delivery boy might have come to deliver the letters as they were not at home for last 2 weeks.

However she was surprised to See Sandra at the entrance.

“How are you Ursula? ‘ Sandra asked,

“Good. Please come in.” Ursula replied.

“I had just come to this area to show one property to my prospective client so just thought of dropping in to enquire about you “Sandra told,

“It is nice of you “Ursula replied.

Meanwhile Ursula’s mother also joined them. Ursula introduced her to Sandra.

“What will you like to have Sandra Coffee or cold drink?” Ursula asked.

“Ok I will have coffee provided you also give me the company “Sandra responded...

“Sure “Ursula agreed and went to the kitchen.

Ursula’s mother meanwhile started talking with Sandra.

“How is the home business nowadays? “ Ursula’s mother asked.

“Not so good” Sandra replied however she was looking disturbed and she was having a look at all over the place,

Sensing that Sandra is somewhat uncomfortable Ursula’s mother stopped the conversation and started the TV sets.

Ursula came into the living room with 3 cups of coffee. All of them had coffee and after a brief chat Sandra left the house.

After half an hour when Ursula came back to the living room, her mother was still watching the TV show. Suddenly Ursula’s attention went to the center table.

“Mom, where is the second lemon, It was there just half an hour back “Ursula yelled.

Ursula’s mother also noticed the second lemon missing.

“Mom have you seen someone picking up the lemon? “ Ursula asked,

“No Ursula I was watching the TV show “her mom replied.

“But no one except Ms. Sandra had come to us during the whole day” mom commented.

“Mom let us first check with the Kids “Ursula suggested. She knew both kids had the habit of picking up the things and keeping somewhere else.

“Victor, Sophie Please come in the leaving room? “ Ursula called from the leaving room.

“Have any one of you have picked the lemon from here? “Asked Ursula.

“No Mom we are playing with our new toys” kids replied back and ran towards their room.

“Ursula when you entered the Kitchen, I tried speaking to Ms. Sandra but she was looking uncomfortable. So I stopped the conversation and switched on the television “Mom supplied additional information.

Ursula now got suspicious of Sandra. No one except her had visited the home during the day. Besides as per mom she was looking uncomfortable.

“Had Sandra taken that lemon with her?” Ursula asked herself

“If yes then according to the Baba Guru Nath She is the one behind all this trouble “Ursula thought.

She spoke about her suspicion with her mother who supported her logic. They decided to wait for Patrick before deciding any further step.

Patrick returned in the evening. When Ursula told her about Sandra’s visit and then disappearance of the sermonized lemon, He also got suspicious about Sandra.

“How can in last 3 months, she got time today only to enquire about us?” Patrick asked the question and answered himself.

“Because she knew that some positive energy had stopped her evil spell and under the pretext on enquiring about us she visited us and taken the lemon with her” Patrick reasoned.

“But Ursula why should she be behind us? She helped us the get the deal. We also paid here service charges” Patrick asked Ursula as he could not find any reason why Sandra should be behind him.

“Patrick even I don’t have the logical reason but if Baba is right then she was the one who took that Sermonized lemon as no one else had visited us.” Ursula replied.

“She was looking uncomfortable when I tried to speak her “Ursula’s mother supported Ursula.

“Let us give a try. Baba Guru Nath told us to follow the person, observe him or her and then catch him or her while doing the evil spell. “Patrick told Ursula.

Patrick and Ursula left the kids with Grandma and started for New Orleans in their car. Ursula was carrying the second lemon with her as instructed by Baba Guru Nath.

They first reached Sandra’s office. The office was locked as it was already 7 pm. They tried to get Sandra’s address from one of the neighboring shop which was still open. The lady at the counter informed them that Sandra leaves near the Market Street in Stella apartment but was unable to give exact house number.

Ursula and Patrick drove to the Market Street. In next 10 minutes they were at the basement of Stella apartment .From the home owner’s information board put up in the basement they could found out Sandra’s flat number. She was living in flat 34 at the third floor. Ursula and Patrick took the elevator and reached the third floor. They did not face any difficult in locating the flat no. 34.

The main door of the flat was locked however they could see lights on inside.

“Lets us knock on the door “Patrick suggested.

“Please wait. We must not hurry “Ursula cautioned him.

Ursula could find one window of the flat open but was covered with window cover. Both slowly moved towards and window. Patrick could see the living room from the gap between the window covers.

“There are 2 woman inside including Sandra “Patrick whispered to Ursula.

“Just wait and check what they are doing “Ursula suggested.

Sandra was inside with her Voodoo Queen Kerran. Sandra and Kerran knew each other for last 10 years. Sandra had taken her help 2-3 times on various issues.

Patrick could see clearly what was going on inside the room.

Patrick could see Sandra sitting in front of Kerran. In between them she could she a flat panel placed on the ground with candles burning and a doll like structure placed at the central. He could also see one Lemon placed at the side.

“Ursula I could see some Voodoo ceremony going inside .I could also see the lemon at the side “Patrick whispered to Ursula.

“So what Baba Guru Nath told us is coming true “Ursula whispered in Patrick’s year. Patrick just nodded.

Now Patrick and Ursula could also hear the conversation going on between Sandra and Kerran.

“Sandra, it seems William’s had taken help of someone who had given them protection against the spell we arranged “Kerran was telling Sandra.

“But Kerran try to neutralize the cure so that we can again revoke the spell “Sandra was urging.

“Sandra, Last 1 hour we tried. It seems that they had taken help of someone who is practicing Haiti Voodoo or some other powerful magic “Kerran replied.

“At least neutralize the energy in the lemon “Sandra urged.

“Tried but it seems it is highly sermonized and my powers are not able to neutralize the same “Kerran almost accepted her inability.

“Can we take someone’s help to neutralize the lemon and invoke our spell” Sandra asked anxiously.

“Let me think. I suppose there is another Voodoo queen which practices Haiti Voodoo in a nearby town we will have to take her help “Kerran suggested.

Patrick and Ursula could hear the conversation going on inside as it was loud enough to be heard by both of them.

“Should we call police? ‘ Ursula whispered.

“Ursula Police will not interfere immediately. They will listen to us and then start the investigation and if they find that some harm is involved then only they will act. As such Voodoo practice as a part of religion is not illegal “Patrick explained her in slow voice.

“What should we do then? “ Ursula asked.
