"Because she wants to" He shrugged. "Makes everything easier for us. You better go and ring your Dad to tell him." He stood up and grabbed the phone. "I'm taking a shower. When I get back it better be done and dusted." He placed the phone down on the breakfast bar and left the room.

Fucking knob head.

I looked down at the phone... I had a feeling my father was going to kill me. Guess it was now or never. I grabbed the phone and dialled his number. My heart was racing just by the ringing tone.

"Hello" answered a voice.

"Dad!"

"Georgina, what do you want?" I rolled my eyes. What a pleasant greeting. Then I realized I hadn't spoken to him since that lunch when he was here. That wasn't good even for my standards.

"Love you too" I laughed.

Get on with it
...

"How are you?"

Why did I say that?

"Do not get me started" he grunted. "Have you heard about your sister? Only gone and got herself pregnant by that brain washing bastard. Well, if they think I am going to pay for it they can think again. I'm not made of money. Is that why you're calling?"

"NO!!" I shouted. Wow, I was going to be an auntie. Not like I would ever see the baby. "I have something to tell you.."

"Oh no not you as well! Why are you girls stupid?"

"Dad I am not pregnant" I laughed "I am getting married" I cringed. The line went quiet. That was not a good sign. "Dad? You still there? Dad!!!" I sat down at the breakfast bar. He was obliviously thinking about it.

"When?" he finally replied.

"Two weeks... 26th of May..."

"What?" He screamed. "Caitlyn you have to talk to this one." I heard Caitlyn take the phone off Dad.

"Hello" she said. It was nice to hear a friendly voice. "What's wrong  Georgina?"
How did she know it was me?

"I am getting married on the 26th May and I want you both there" I cried. "Will you talk Dad round and get back to me."

"I'm not paying for it!" I heard Dad say in the background. I rolled my eyes he couldn't be happy for anyone. Both his daughters were going through life changing experiences and all he cared about was MONEY!! Typical everything  always boiled down to money with him.

"Okay sweetie. I will do my magic" I could hear her smile down the phone.

How I wished she was my real mum! She took great care with me and my sister. Always made sure we had everything we needed and supported us when times got hard. My thoughts turned back to the visit  to my mother's in London. She was nothing to me any more. Why had she told Blake? There was no way she was coming to my wedding.

"Thank you speak soon. Love you."

"Love you too" the line went dead.

I looked at the phone in my hand. There I had done it. It was official I was getting married to  Blake. I wasn't sure how I felt about it. Everything had changed too quickly. My head wasn't catching up to speed. I rested my head in my hands. It was all my fault... My stupid fault. I had been stupid and greedy. I had hurt Blake and it had affected him. I needed to wake up and smell the coffee. I had to be everything Blake wanted to me. I did love him dearly, we had history and I couldn't just throw that all away. Certainly not for Maxwell.

Ha, he never loved you!
Laughed the voice in my head.

If he did he wouldn't of gone off with another  woman the next day. Hearing that phone call hurt. I bet he did it on purpose to rub it in my face.

"All done" I looked up and Blake was standing in front of me.

A towel wrapped round his waist and his perfectly sculpted body out on display. His blonde hair was wet and pushed back from his face. He was a beautiful man. Any woman in their right mind would be stupid not to marry him.

The butterflies started in my stomach it took me by surprise. I hadn't felt them in Blake's presence in a while. Well if Maxwell could move on quickly so could I.

I stood up pushing Blake into the kitchen side. My mouth found his and I kissed him hungrily. He tasted good. My tongue went deeper into  his mouth. He picked me up and placed me on the breakfast bar.

"Oh my god George!" He said as he pulled away. He was breathing heavy and trying to catch his breath. He placed both hands on my face cupping it and staring longingly into my eyes. "I've missed you. Where have you been?"

I ran my hands through his wet hair. "It doesn't matter" I whispered. "I'm back and I will never leave you again."

I pulled his mouth back to mine and his kiss turned more intense. I had missed him too. The tingle feeling began to run through my body and that longing in my stomach began. I needed him and I needed him now. I pulled away, jumped down off the bar and slowly undid my skirt. It fell to the floor. I looked up at Blake and he was giving his wicked smile. I could see a bulge poking through the towel.

Yes! I still did it  for him.

His hands moved round and grasped my arse. In one swoop I was back on the breakfast bar, he dropped his towel, he pulled my knickers to the side and he entered me deeply.

My head fell back with gratification. It felt lush him being inside me. This is where he belonged. I wrapped my arms round his neck and kissed him. I never wanted his mouth to leave mine. He began to slam into me fast. He was out of control. It wasn't long till he found his release and filled me up. He hugged me hard. I didn't mind that I hadn't orgasm. Just the thought of him claiming back my body as his was the best feeling in the world.

"I love you Georgina Dawson" he hissed.

"I love you too Blake Waterman."

I was on tender hooks as I entered Maxwell's office holding his morning coffee. He was doing something on his computer. He looked up. His handsome face was a mess. Bruises under his eyes and a white strip across his nose.

My heart dropped it was my fault he looked like that.

I  placed his coffee on his desk. He hadn't said one word to me this morning and it was hurting. I was just about to leave when I got the urge to say something. I spun round and looked at him.

"Yes, Miss Dawson" he snapped not taking his eyes off the computer. "Something the matter?"

"I was just going to ask how is your nose?" He looked up, his eyes wide open and that cold stare. I didn't like it when he gave that stare to me. "It looks pretty bad" I added. "Is it painful?"

"Why do you care?" Maxwell huffed. "Since you didn't give me any warning it could of been avoided. I had to cancel an important lunch meeting to go and sit in A and E for four fucking hours!" His eyes went back on to the computer. "Is that all?"

"Yes, Mr Thomas" I took that as my cue to leave his office and return to my desk. I sat down in my chair and looked at my own computer. I was pretty sure Maxwell was over me now. After getting him punched in the nose I doubted there was no love there any more.

I sighed it didn't matter now. I was getting married. Shit! I hadn't rang Amy to meet up and help me choose my dress. I didn't think Maxwell was going to leave his office any time soon. I grabbed the phone and dialled her number.

"Hello Amy" she sang.

"Amy, its Georgina. What are you doing Saturday?" I asked.

"Nothing. Why?"

"I'm getting married on the 26th May and need help getting a dress. Will you help me?" I looked up and Maxwell stood over me. Still with the cold glare.

Busted!!
I laughed. That was his line.

"Okay, why so rushed?" she sang.

"I gotta go tell you more later" I put the phone down and looked up at him. "Mr Thomas?"

He raised an eyebrow and handed me a folder. "26th huh? Congratulations. If you have time can you retype these letters and send them off." He headed to his office. "By the way if you're going to make phone calls... Please do it in your own time. After all this is a workplace and you don't need any more distractions." With that he slammed his door.

Fuck!! He was angry.

By lunch I had completed my task. I had a few messages to give Maxwell. I had been putting it off for a while. Looked like I had no choice now. He hadn't left his office since he flipped out. Maybe I had seen the true side of him? The big bad boss who was going to make my life hell. I hoped not I liked working here. I had got to know nearly everyone and we all made a nice team.

I got up from my desk and grabbed my notepad. I walked over to his door.

Prepare yourself I told myself. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

"Yeah!" he yelled. I could tell by the sound of his voice he was still pissed off. I entered and gave him a massive grin. He didn't return it and glared back down at his computer. He had been on that thing all day that was unlike him.

"Miss Dawson?" He grunted.

"Just thought I would come and give you your messages before I go for lunch." I placed my note pad on the desk. He grabbed it and discarded next to him. "Did you want me to get you anything while I'm out."

"No!" he snapped. "Go to lunch. When you get back I need you to make some phone calls and reschedule some meetings." He looked up and gave his smile. "As you can tell by the state of my face....." He made a circle with his finger around his face. "Not exactly in a position to see anyone. Wouldn't want them to get the wrong idea."

I looked down at my hands. He was was really dwelling on this.

"I'm really sorry. I had no idea Blake was going to come in and do that. I did have a go at him.. If that's make anything better" My voice trailed off.

What was I saying sorry for?

He had the affair with me too. Blake had hit both of us. Which when thinking about it I would of done the same too. Any normal person would.

"Let's not talk about it again. Golden rule, Miss Dawson... Golden rule!" He hissed through gritted teeth.

This man was so annoying. Why didn't he just say what he really wanted to say. He was behaving like a child who couldn't get his own way. He was really beginning to get on my nerves and treating me like a naughty school girl. I was  a 25 year old woman and he was a 31 year old man. We were adults and we should start speaking about like adults. I could feel my temper a merging.

"You know what?" I yelled marching over to his desk. I placed both hands on the desk and leant over directly in front of him. "I'm not sorry about your face."He sat back in his chair and crossed his arms. "You would of done the same thing to the bloke who cheated with your girlfriend!"

"Fiancée" he corrected a little smirk appeared on his face. Now he was laughing at me. The nerve of this man.

I stood up and crossed my own arms. "Well, that is the correct term.... Anyway, can you stop acting cold towards me. We have to work together and if this is beginning to become a problem I will have to leave."

He began to run his fingers over his lips. That mouth again. I wish he wouldn't do that. He knew it was distracting.

I looked away he had to hear this. "And I don't want to leave. I like working here. I like all the people here and I actually like you as my boss." There I could finally breath.
