Grandma's watching

Lewisville, Texas

My story begins when I was a little boy. My mother and I lived with my grandparents. Well my grandmother became very sick with cancer and had been in and out of the hospital for about a year or so. When it was getting close to the end she wanted to go home. The doctors sent her home and within an hour she had passed away with all her family around her (one thing I need to tell you is that my grandmother was only 36 years old). My mother grabbed me and we ran out of that house as fast as she could run.
Me being so young not really knowing what was happening. We stayed with friends for a couple of nights before returning to my grandparents' house. What happened next would change my life forever!

That night I slept in the room with my mother. We were awakened by a noise in the hall and it was getting close. Then all of a sudden the door opened and there she was standing there in white, floating about two inches above the ground. She was looking right at us. Our eyes fixed on hers and she softly said everything is going to be ok, then faded away.

With my mother in tears, she turned and hugged me as tightly as she could. My mother only had a few years to get to know her mother. She needed closure. This was the first but not the last time my grandmother visited me. I will tell more stories later. And by the way, she died on January 13. It was a Friday.

In The Fog

Dallas, Texas

If you read my first story, then you know I moved into an old house, but it was new to us. Strange things continue to occur, and my sister continues to make up crap that only happens to her.

It was late and my friend's mom was driving me home from cheer practice that ran a little late that night. It was foggy and humid, a horrible, yucky-feel night. My friend, Olivia, was in the backseat next to me when she pointed out a figure in my driveway.

It was slumped over and limping towards the front door. I thought maybe it was my brother. I don't know. I wanted to make sense of this. The only reason you could see it was because of the motion sensor lights outside my house. We pulled into my driveway in time to see this thing dissolve into the door. “What the...?!” is all that ran through my mind.

I invited Olivia and her mom in for a while, but Olivia's mom refused my offer and said it was late and she should start on dinner. By the tone of her voice, I could tell that wasn't the reason she wasn't willing to stay. I talked to Olivia though, outside on the porch for about 2 or 3 minutes. I was begging her to stay the night, that I didn't have a good feeling of staying alone in my room tonight. She shook her head, and said something wasn't right, that she couldn't stay. I begged her again, only to get the same answer. She told me she'd text me later, and practically ran off my porch and into the passenger seat of her car.

I waved goodbye knowing tonight would be a long night. I just remembered, I had forgotten my bag in Olivia's car, which contained my house keys...and my cell phone. I guessed I wouldn't be talking to Olivia tonight, or anybody else for that matter. I knocked on the door quickly, not wanting to stay outside alone another second! My sister, Savannah, opened the door and pointed out that I was late. Just then, a voice I will never forget had said something I would also never forget. "Let me out!" It was a voice that didn't have a gender decided tone. I couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl, a man or a woman, a child or an adult. I jumped at the sound and blew it off as the wind, since the voice was faint and light and I didn't want to deal with anything paranormal that night.

I hurried to finish my shower because I did not feel safe alone that night. Before I could even get shampoo into my hair, Savannah screamed.

“Oh no, not again,” I thought. She did this often, but I turned off the water, threw on my towel, and ran to where I heard the scream. No one was there. Savannah wasn't even in the house.

I saw a note on the table that had stated how she was out with her boyfriend Colt.

What?! She left me here in this death trap we call home, alone? My mom and dad were working overtime so we could move.

I re-read the last line over again, "Call in emergency. Any emergency." That meant she was expecting a paranormal experience tonight, and she left me! So, naturally I called her, begging her to come home as quickly as possible!

I changed into my pajamas and curled up in a ball under my covers waiting for Savannah to return home.

Where's my brother? You may wonder. His was at his buddy’s house.

"Jenna," the voice spoke my name.

My head popped up and I began to shiver. A gust of cold air had blown through my room.

"Leave me alone, please!" I begged of the spirit. "Please, just go away! Please!" I was crying now.

"Jenna," it said again.

The next thing I remember, Jeremy, my brother woke me. I was lying on the floor in the basement outside his bedroom door. How did I get there? I have no idea. But I believe that thing we saw in the fog had something to do with it.

Want to Know Who He Is

Klein, Texas

I first started seeing just glimpses of something. Then one night while I was in my room getting ready for bed, he walked by my door and looked at me. Of course I freaked out, thinking that someone had gotten into my home. My husband was at work but on his way home so I called him on his cell phone (frantic). He told me to calm down and get my gun! I checked the house and there was no one here.

My husband arrived home and checked the house himself, being that he is a police officer. I finally calmed down and went to sleep after taking a muscle relaxer (I was that terrified).

I started to see him more often after this incident. He would be standing off beside me, or would pass through the room I was in. I had been told by several people not to communicate with him, because it could be evil. In spite of their advice I felt it appropriate to say something. I sat on my bed with a cover around me shivering with fear as I started my conversation. I asked him he was here, and if there was something I could do to help him. I asked him to never touch my children or me! I waited for a reply terrified of what would happen.

About the time I was ready to think he could not communicate with me, my computer came on with the word "HELLO" bouncing around! My computer was in sleep mode and would never come on unless I restart it or take it out of sleep mode. I was about ten feet away from it at the time.

My husband and I decided we would not tell my children. But to my surprise, one of my children had been experiencing the same thing I was, but was afraid to tell anyone. I think he thought I would think he was crazy, because I thought the same thing.

Since then, it has made it’s presence known to everyone except my husband, but then again, my husband is never home.

He works all day and an extra job until midnight every night during the week. My dog even sees him: Patches watches someone walk around our home. I see him raise his head and move it as whatever he is watching moves from one side of the room to the other.

He even picks at the kids - when they are doing their homework he pushes their pencils off the table (they don't roll they get pushed without rolling, almost like sliding).

I've taken my house shoes off when getting in my bed and in the morning they will be turned around so I can just slip my feet right into them. I have a big stand-up mirror in my bathroom where I pluck my eyebrows... one night I was doing this and he tilted the mirror so I couldn't see. The mirror is hard to tilt. I keep it tight so it won't wiggle around. I'm not afraid, and my children say they are not afraid either but we are very curious...

Guardian Angel?

San Antonio, Texas

This happened in the year 1961, my oldest son Daniel was only about 1 year old. My wife and I had only been married a little over a year and I was working the second shift, my wife and my son Daniel were at home by themselves.

The time was about 2:00 a.m. I received a telephone call at work for me to go home as soon as possible, my wife's voice was shaking and she was scared. When I got home I sat down with her and she began to tell me what had happened that night.

The night was hot and humid and I had purchased a small air conditioning floor unit and placed it in the bedroom; my wife told me that she was fast asleep and the baby was lying next to her on the bed.

For some unknown reason, she awoke and saw my son standing next to the a/c unit like trying to hide behind it. My wife told him to please come to bed and lay next to her and as she started to pat his side of the bed, she realized he was there already. She turned and looked at the a/c unit and still saw my son there. The apparition started to disappear from the feet up until he totally vanished.

After my wife got over her shock of seeing two babies is when she called me at work. To this day I think about her experience and wonder if that other baby was his guardian angel or what?

Haunted Dream?

Beaumont, Texas

Okay so for about two weeks now I've been dreaming about this baby. It looks pale and dead and something tells me it's an unborn older sibling.

It scares me to death because its eyes are pure red and it walks around in my dreams.

I always wake up hearing things moving around my room and I'm sweating and crying. Then I hear a baby crying. It's been happening every couple of nights, always at 3 o'clock.

This was freaking me out! I asked my mom if I had an older sibling that died as a baby, but she gave me a weird look and it took her a while to say no and she kind of looked upset. I think she knows something about this dead baby that's haunting me.

If anyone has any similar experiences and knows what's happening please comment.
