Of course it was a happy occasion, but I couldn’t help reflect on the perilous state of my own marriage.

The whole family was devastated by Jack’s MS diagnosis, but his response has been truly inspiring. Here he is receiving the Medal of Hope award for his charity work at the 2013 Race to Erase MS gala.
