“Fine, are we almost there?”

“Yes, I’ll put you down in a bit.”

“See, this isn’t fair! You can touch me, but I can’t kiss you.”

“Actually, you’ve kissed me already, Trish. Your lips are still attached to my neck.”

“Oopps, my bad.” I giggle.

“I’m putting you down, now. I’m going to take your blindfold off, but keep your eyes closed, please.”

I just nod. I am so tempted to open my eyes, but I don’t want to ruin it for Jake, so I keep them shut. He pulls me closer to him, my back to his front, our hands intertwine, and both arms cross, resting on my stomach. I think we’re on a boat or something; that thought alone makes the butterflies in my stomach run amok. Then, I hear
Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing”
play over the speakers.

He whispers, “Open your eyes, sweetheart.”

As I slowly open my eyes, I see the wide open water right before me; we are standing at the bow of a boat. I turn slowly to face him and wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him close to me as he envelopes me in his arms. We sway to the music, while gazing at each other. The song moves me to tears, as it conveys how much he treasures our time together, how he wants to be with me forever. When it gets to the part
of thanking God we are together,
he kisses me softly on my lips. I bury my face into his neck, squeezing him tight with all my might. He rocks us slowly back and forth; he cradles my head tenderly, kissing my temple over and over again. I could stay in this moment forever, like the song says.

He whispers to me, “Are you enjoying your surprise?”

“I’m the luckiest girl on Earth because you love me. Thank you for this. I have to say, for the record, I love you more, babe…so much more,” I whisper back.

Shaking his head he says, “I don’t think so, sweetheart. I’ve loved you longer.”

My eyes water because I’m overwhelmed by emotions. I’ve never felt so loved in my life as I do in this moment. I’m afraid I’ll have an emotional overload, as if my heart’s going to burst. I’m amazed by how much he loves me, overjoyed by the intensity of his love for me, deliriously happy that an awesome man adores me. While I’m ecstatic that Jake loves me so unconditionally, I’m afraid. What if our love doesn’t last forever, I might literally die of a broken heart. I don’t think I could survive it. I push that thought to the back of my mind to enjoy this moment. He continues swaying us, whispering sweet words to me, kissing me, embracing me tight, and just loving me. Just us, no one else matters at the moment.

“I hope we stay like this forever. Just…just don’t leave me.”

“I’ll never leave you. Death is the only thing that can separate us, Trish.”

My heart stills when he mentions death because it brings back bad memories of when I lost my dad and Dylan. I’m not ready to lose anyone, especially Jake…not him. Thinking, hearing, or just talking about it freezes my fragile heart; it makes my mind wander into a territory my heart can’t handle…not ever.

“Can I get my kiss, now?”

He chuckles. “My baby can’t wait. What am I going to do with you?”

“How about end my misery and give me kisses?”

So, he does. He kisses me as if he hasn’t seen me in days. It’s all consuming, full of desire and love, but at times too uncontrolled, almost frantic. By the end of the night, everyone is tipsy. We sit down and hold hands, exchanging I love you’s a million times.

I fall asleep on the way home in Jake’s arms, as always. I don’t wake up until the following morning, and I immediately feel guilty. He probably wanted to end the night making love to me. I turn over and see him still asleep. I take advantage of it, just staring at his face. His kissable lips are slightly apart, his face clear of worry lines, his hair messy. I run my fingertips over his shoulder, down to his chest, to his rock hard abs, tracing his V-line, following down his happy trail. I move the thin blanket to have a look at Jake junior when he grabs my hand and pushes me flat on my back, his body over mine.

“What are you trying to do?” He asks in his husky bedroom voice.

“I want to touch you.”

“Why?”

“I miss, Mr. Pointer.”

“What the fuck? You’re calling my dick, Mr. Pointer.”

“Well, what do you want me to call it, Mr. Pecker?”

“You just pissed my dick off, baby.”

“Well, do you want me to call it Rambo instead?”

“Trish, I can’t believe you!”

“What? I don’t like saying dick all the time.”

“You just killed the mood, right now.” He shakes his head at me.

I roll my eyes at him. “Okay fine, I want to touch your dick! Happy now?”

“Because of that,” he points at me, “you can only look, no touching.” His attempt at being serious is not working because he’s snickering like an idiot.

“Fine, then you can’t touch me, either. Let’s see who can last longer. I’m sure I’ll win this,” I smirk at him and the smug look on his face quickly disappears.

“Really? I don’t think so. You might want to think it over, sweetheart, because I know you can’t resist me,” He confidently says as he places his hands behind his head.

“You’re so full of yourself! For your information, I can resist you. What’s the price?” I narrow my eyes at him curiously awaiting what he’s going to say.

“Whoever wins will decide where and when we have sex for one week.”

I gasp. “I don’t think so! Knowing you, it’ll be places I’m not going to approve of.”

“Let me worry about the time and place, because I’ll win, babe.” He gives me a cocky look.

“Pride comes before the fall. Don’t forget that!”

“Can I have one last kiss before we start this bet?” He looks at me all serious.

I give in, as I always do. I kiss him…no I practically, devour him. I want him to know what he’s going to miss. I’m going to win this.

“And, they finally come out!” Cody announces our arrival followed by him bowing in front of me.

“We left your breakfast in the microwave,” Tami says, exchanging a meaningful look with me.

“I’ll get everything, ok. You want coffee or orange juice?” Jake asks careful not to touch me.

“Orange juice, please.” I smile at him, moving to kiss him, but I catch myself and walk toward the living room after he smirks at me, giving me that you-will-lose look.

I sit down next to Tami watching the food network. It’s her favorite channel; hence, all the delicious food we enjoy. Roxy and Cody are cuddling on the floor, and Brian occupies the recliner, playing with his phone. Jake walks in with our food and sits down on the farthest side of the sofa, which earns him a weird look from Tami.

“Why are you guys sitting apart?” Tami leans forward asking Jake.

“We have a bet.” He shrugs his shoulders.

“What bet?” Brian chimes in, looking at us.

“Ah, we can’t touch or kiss each other. Whoever wins will get to pick the place and time we can have sex for a week. I see office, truck, and pool sex in my future…my very near future,” Jake smugly says, giving me air kisses.

“Oh, you’re in trouble, dude; Trish never fails on a bet. You’ll suffer from severe blue balls!” Cody replies laughing.

“We’ll see,” He mumbles.

“You better win this, sweetie! You better represent!” Roxy hollers.

“Oh, trust me; I got this!” I confidently say.

I hope I sound confident, because I don’t know how long I can last not touching him. I’m so used to cuddling with him when we watch TV or rubbing the back of his neck when he drives. This is going to be a challenge for me. It looks as if he’s having a hard time too, because he keeps glancing in my direction. It’s a good thing I’m holding something; otherwise, I would reach out and touch him.

“Are you almost done, babe?” I ask him for his plate.

“Yeah, can you get me more coffee, please,” He answers, handing me his cup and plate, looking at the TV.

I want to test his resolve and inch a little bit toward him. He actually stands up and moves away from me, standing behind the recliner.

He points at me shaking his head. “Na-ah, stay right there! You can’t tempt me!”

“What are you talking about? I am just asking for your plate, babe.” I innocently say.

I turn around and walk to the kitchen with a smile on my face. This is going to be an easy win for me; all I need to do is tempt him.
Operation Touchy Feely
is now a go. After washing our plates, I decide to change my outfit from jeans and a shirt to my black shorts he likes so much. They make my ass look good, and I pair them with a loose blue tube top. I braid my hair to leave my neck completely exposed. This will be perfect! Why didn’t I think about this earlier?

I strut out to the living room, feeling confident that I’ll win, right now. He’s sitting in the same spot; as soon as he sees me, he closes his eyes and pinches his nose. I act as if I don’t notice his reaction, but I give myself a mental fist pump. I sit down beside him, but not close enough that we’re touching and not too far where someone can still sit between us.

“Brian, let’s wash the car!” He abruptly says.

“I’m relaxing, man,” Brian said, ignoring Jake.

Jake stands up and walks outside, slamming the sliding glass door. Everyone looks at me, and we start laughing so hard. I end up on the floor with Cody and Roxy, while Tami and Brian are bent over holding their stomachs.

“You don’t fight fair, Trish. Are you trying to kill him?” Brian says in between his laughing fits.

“Hey, I’ll do whatever it takes to win!”

“He’ll be in a bad mood!” Tami calls out.

“Roxy, you better not do that to me, or I’ll walk around naked, balls swinging, if I have to!” Cody yells.

I follow Jake outside, making sure to give us enough space for me to run, just in case he goes crazy on me. I have to prepare myself for the onslaught of words he might spew out, considering I just made him mad.

“Babe, what are you doing out here? Why don’t you come back inside?” I ask calmly, trying to hide the smile that is ready burst any minute.

He has his back facing me; as soon as he hears my voice, he places his hands in his jean pockets.

“Trish, just go inside, please. I’ll be there in a few, alright,” He says in a clipped tone.

I approach him and stand next to him, leaning forward a little bit to check if he’s having some technical difficulties with his Mr. Pecker. He instantly faces the other way when he sees me stand next to him. I know what he’s hiding from me, and I’m debating whether to tease him about it, or not. I take my chances and just go for it.

“What? You’re trying to hide your boner, babe?” I chuckle.

“Leave me alone, Trish,” He says sounding really irritated.

“All you have to do is say the word.”

“Not a chance. I want to win this bet,” He huffs out.

“Alright, have it your way. You might want to take care of that in the bathroom, honey, it looks as if you’re really, uncomfortable,” I taunt him.

He turns around, and his eyes lock with mine; he gives me that panty dropping, knee buckling smile he knows is my weakness, and I almost cave in. I feel as if he were hypnotizing me with his stare. I immediately snap out of my Jake inflicted trance and walk back inside the house. Damn, that was close! Geez, I have to change clothes to get a reaction; and he just looks at me, and I fall apart. If I’m not careful, I’ll lose this bet.

Tami and Roxy are in the kitchen preparing lunch when I walk in. Roxy tells me the four of them are betting on who’s going to win. Apparently, there’s a pool of five hundred dollars to whoever wins. The stakes just got higher since Roxy and Cody have a side bet of Roxy giving Cody a blowjob if Jake wins. I don’t know if I should throw it just to teach Roxy a lesson, but then again, knowing her, she might just enjoy it.

“If lunch is ready, bring it outside!” Cody yells from the deck.

I’m really not hungry since we ate a late breakfast, so I just grab a banana on my way out. I guess the guys are helping Jake out, because they sit him between the two of them. I snicker to myself, thinking I can do other things to get his attention, then I realize the banana I am holding…perfect prop! I put my hands behind me, trying to hide my secret weapon.

“Trish, aren’t you going to sit down? Sorry, you can’t get close to our boy, here,” Cody goads me, slapping Jake’s shoulder.

“That’s okay, Cody. I don’t have to be close to him to get a
hard
reaction.” Putting emphasis on ‘hard’ as I smirk at him.

Without warning, the three boys take their shirts off, and I just about pass out. Well, Tami and Roxy included. I blank out for a while, not knowing what to do next. Damn, I didn’t think of this. Jake is now shirtless in front of me, my traitorous eyes instantly roam to his chest, hard abs, broad shoulders and back to his chest. Holy crap!

“Cat got your tongues, ladies?” Cody chuckles.

Oh no, no cat’s got my tongue! I’m thinking more like my warm tongue wrapping around his hard pulsing dick! Shit! I hate giving head, but my crazed-self strikes again! Best idea…ever!

Jake never makes eye contact, in fact, he’s busy eating his food and talking to Brian about some shit I can’t even understand, because at the moment, my mind is not working properly. Roxy gives me that you-better-do-something look, and that’s all it takes for me to go into action mode.

Roxy stands up and tells me to sit down right in front of Jake, while she takes the seat next to me. This is perfect for what I have in mind. I show Roxy the banana I’m holding under the table, and she gives me a small nod and smile. I start peeling the banana, even before she gives me my signal to start
Operation Payback
. Right on cue, she gives me the opening I need.

“Trish, you’re not going to eat?” She asks innocently.

“Nah, I don’t feel too well,” I say.

Jake looks at me with concern in his eyes, and what perfect timing.
He falls for it, hook, line and sucker!
I put the banana very slowly in my mouth, pushing it as far as I could and pulling it out ever so slowly, biting the tip off. I’m looking at Jake the whole time; his reaction is priceless. It takes everything in me, not to laugh. Even the boys are silent; Cody is speechless for a change. Three point shot right here…bam!
