After dinner, and a few more drinks, Matt turned to me with a devilish grin.

He crooked his finger, "Come here."

I swiveled on the barstool a little to the right. "Why?"

He looked startled for a second, then recovered. "Because I want to kiss you."

I felt myself blush at his confidence, but then a second later I felt his hand pulling me off the stool, and toward him. He opened his legs, guiding me to fit in between them. His hands wrapped around my waist, as he gently kissed my chin once. "I gotta tell you, Paige, these fucking dresses you wear are hot. I swear your name and these dresses are all anyone can talk about at meetings." His hand slipped down, caressing my bare leg. "What do you mean?" I whispered.

His other hand found my other thigh, and I could feel my dress slightly lifting. "It's nothing. It's just some guys have mentioned you at our frat meetings. I'm just glad it's me and not them that gets to see what's underneath."

I started to step back, but his hands were too strong, lifting me onto his lap, forcing my legs to go on either side of him.

His mouth smashed into mine before I could even form a sentence to tell him how good the dinner had been, or to clarify what he just said. But, my guess was he didn't care right now.

I could hear his breathing growing, heavier, rougher as he rocked up against me. My first thought was to jump off, run, but I forced myself to stay in his arms, my mouth on his. His hands grabbed onto mine, pinning them to my sides, his erection digging into me as he rubbed into me a little more. "Damn, Paige," he mumbled into my mouth as he lifted me into his arms. My legs started to lower, but he scooped them back around his waist as he walked toward what I could only assume was his bedroom. He tossed me onto the bed, covering my body at once. My head dropped to the side as he started kissing my neck, moving toward my neckline. The first thing I noticed was a box of condoms, and a jar of Vaseline on the nightstand. His mouth was dangerously low, hovering just above my chest, a place where I had yet to let anyone go to since that night. "I..." I whimpered.

Matt cupped my face with his hand, turning my head to the side, whispering, "Shhh."

"We need to talk about this," I protested against his lips.

He nodded, his lashes lowering over his eyes. "What's there to talk about?"

My lips started to tremble as fear ripped through me. "I need to go home. Can you take me home?"

He pushed up onto his hands, staring down at me. "Is that what you really want to do? Or, are you just playing hard to get." He slipped his hand up my dress, running his fingers across the top of my panties, sliding his fingers underneath a second later.

I pushed him off of me, and for a second I thought I might be in trouble as he gaze turned from desire to downright pissed. "You're serious? You want to leave now? I thought..."

My head was shaking, my fingers trembling, my voice cracked as I answered, "Yes, please."

He sat up abruptly, hanging his head down, and running his fingers through his hair forcefully. "I can't fucking believe this. I know girls like you, Paige. But, I'm going to tell you right now what kind of guy I am. I'm the kind of guy that expects something on a date. Christ, I'm twenty-one fucking years old, and still dealing with little girls." He looked back at me, and even though I didn't want to, I looked him dead in the eyes. "Screw it, let's go. I'll take you back. But, don't expect another phone call from me. I don't play this kid shit anymore."

I was speechless.

Hurt, confused, annoyed, relieved were just a few of the emotions that coursed through me on the ride home. We'd been seeing each other for a few weeks, and this had been the first time Matt behaved like an asshole. Matt never said a word to me the entire time. But, he mumbled to himself, like he was talking himself down from something.

Once back at the dorm, I jumped out from the seat. Before I could even look for my card to get into the building, I heard the sound of his tires squealing out of the parking lot. These were those moments where I really missed home and a big ass tub to lose myself in.

Once inside, I took the steps to my floor going over the night's events in my head, wondering what I was going to do when I saw him on campus, and how he'd react. My hand just reached for the door, when I noticed the familiar blue scarf that Ellie wrapped around it to let me know she was on a date. She always seemed to be on a date. I slinked down the few flights to head outside. I hated to bother him, but he was all I had.

BEN

Chapter 7

It was Friday night, I had Michele down to her smoking hot red underwear, in her dorm room, when my phone rang for the third time in a row. She was on her knees, then stopped, looking up at me, "Maybe you should just get it."

"No way. They'll leave a voicemail."

We started going at it again, all hot and heavy. Her mouth was sucking me off like it was a piece of corn on the cob. This girl had got it going on. I was about to blow, so I flipped her off me to get on top of her, slowly slipping her underwear down her legs, when my cell rang again.

I reached over to the table without looking at the caller I.D., hitting the answer button. "What the fuck do you want?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, Ben. It's me, um, it's Paige."

I practically leapt off of Michele. "Don't be. I didn't know it was you. What's up?"

She sniffled, and it sounded like she was trying to muffle a cry. "P, I said what's up?"

"Do you know where Tommy is? I really need him to come pick me up."

"Did you try calling him?" I asked, keeping my voice low and my back to Michele.
"Yeah, like ten times. He's not answering."

"Where are you?"

"I'm at the dorms. My roommate is using the room for the night, if you know what I mean, and I have nowhere to go."

I sighed heavily, peering over at the bed. I did know.

Even though I had been looking over at a very naked Michele, my hard-on instantly went out the window the minute I heard Paige's voice. Michele curled her finger to lure me back in bed, but I shook her off.

"I'll be there in ten." I hit end, then turned to Michele. "Something's come up. I gotta go."

She jolted upright. "You're leaving me, to go after her? It's Tommy's cousin. Let him deal with her."

I shook my head. "That's exactly the point. It's Tommy's cousin, and he's like family to me."

"I don't get it."

Why the hell was I still putting up with her? Especially if she was going to go all girlfriend mode on me. "You don't need to." I yanked on my shorts, and tossed on my T-shirt. "And, do me a favor? If you're going to be like this. Lose my number."

With that I jogged out the door. If she couldn't get me helping out Paige, she never would.

When I got to her hall, she was sitting outside the front doors on a bench with her head in her hands, slumped over. I cleared my throat. She looked up, and immediately I could tell she'd been crying. I squatted down in front of her, brushing her hair back out of her face. It was all wet and sticky from her tears. "Hey, what's wrong?"

She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. "It's nothing."

"Did that douchebag do something to you?"Anger filled my voice.

"Drop it Ben. I just want to go to bed. Can I sleep over?" She looked at me with her big green eyes, and it was my undoing.

I grabbed her hand, hoisting her to a stand. "No problem. C'mon."

The whole ride back she stared out the window being super quiet, which gave me time to think this one through. Where the hell was she going to sleep? I guess she could have my bed, but that left me riding the couch downstairs, and I don't even like to sit on that thing. Every guy in the house had bagged someone on it.

We walked into the frat house, and immediately three guys in the front room pounding beers, looked at us. I forgot I was still holding her hand from when I helped her out of the car. "Dude," Paul shook his head. Everyone knew she was off limits. Not only because she was Tommy's cousin, but now she was considered Matt's girl. Even though Matt lived off campus with a few other brothers, it was no secret that they'd been spending time together.

I dropped her hand. "It's not like that."

I mean, I was sure it looked like it, especially when I led her up the stairs and into my room. A room I shared with Jack and Tommy. Luckily for me, neither was back yet, which gave me time to get whatever was bothering her off her chest. Cause if Matt played her, brother or no brother, I'd kick his ass. I was all for bro's before hoe's, but not when it came to Paige. She was the only exception.

"Thanks for picking me up, Ben."

I shrugged. "It's no problem. Do you want something to sleep in?"

She looked so innocent standing in front of me that I had to blink a few times just to make myself stop staring. "Do you have some boxers and a shirt?"

I walked toward her, with my hands on my hips, and probably the most ridiculous grin on my face.

"It's time you know something about me, P. I go commando most of the time, or wear boxer briefs. So, I don't have any. But, I can give you a shirt." I rummaged through my drawers, yanking out one of my favorites, then tossed it over to her.

"I'd let you wear Tommy's, but he and I kind of do the same thing, and before you ask, you don't want Jack's boxers."

She sheepishly smiled. "The shirt's fine. Thanks."

She started to lift her dress over her head. "Whoa! Let a guy turn around." Holy shit! She literally almost stripped down in front of me, and like an asshole, I stopped her and turned around. What the hell was wrong with me? I'd wanted to see Paige in nothing but her birthday suit since the first day I met her. I was turning into such a pussy.

"Sorry."

Two-seconds later she said, "You can turn around."

So I did, and almost dropped dead at the sight of her.

It was almost impossible to fight the feeling in the pit of my stomach, making it harder to breathe. I was caught up in her smile, just crushed by the way she looked standing in front of me. You always read, or heard about guys saying shit like, my girl looks the best in my white button down shirt, or my Jersey, and nothing else. Damn, if they weren't right. I thought my heart had just permanently shut down.

She started to walk over to Tommy's bed, pulling back the blanket. "What are you doing?"

She turned around, her eyebrows knitted together. "I'm going to bed."

"You can sleep in mine. He should be home soon. I'll take the beanbag."

Her eyes moved to the corner of the room, then back to me. "You're going to sleep on that little thing in the corner?"

"Well, I'm not sleeping on that nasty couch downstairs."

"Thanks!" She said. I let out a breath, as she slowly made her way over to my bed,

pulling the covers back. As her knee moved to get in, the shirt lifted, and I caught a glimpse of her barely there pink underwear, and the curve of her backside.

Fuck me!

It had been five minutes and I still couldn't get comfortable. I wasn't sure if it was because Paige was half naked in my bed, or if it was the beanbag.

I was moving around like crazy, trying to find that sweet spot when I heard her sigh. "Ben?"

I rose up on my elbow. "What?"

She pulled the blanket back. "We could share. I feel bad." I really, really knew I should have said absolutely not. My head was screaming at me to stay put, but once again I found that I couldn't say no to her. Besides, the fact that I
wanted
to sleep next to her. I was pretty sure that I was totally fine with just sleeping, and nothing else. When had I ever just slept next to a girl?

I held my hands up. "I promise to be on my best behavior."

She laughed softly, "Knock it off. I trust you."

I scooted in next to her. I'd always hated this since it was a twin bed, but now I was thanking God it was so fucking small. I flipped on my side to face the floor, because I knew if I faced her, I'd be sporting a boner in no time.

"Ben?"

I paused, too nervous to move from being so close to her. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all?

"Can I ask you something?"

I still hadn't turned. I was trying to focus on my breathing. After I gathered my composure somewhat I asked, "Sure, beautiful. What is it?"

She tapped my shoulder. "Would you look at me?"

Fuck!

"It's dark. I can't see you anyway."

"Please?" She begged.

What could I do? I'd be a total prick if I said no. Even as I turned over I knew it was a colossal mistake, but my body kept moving even though my brain was telling it not to, until our noses touched. The warmth of her freshly brushed minty breath hit me immediately. And, I swore if she asked me to jump off a mountain right then, I probably would.

"If a girl wouldn't sleep with you, would you just toss her aside? I mean, you know...not date her?"
