wasn"t exactly what they"d expected. But once they tried it,

they loved it. Many came back for a second slice, not that

anyone was counting.

Then there was more dancing, this time only with

Magnus. His new husband was very gracious about giving in

to what he wanted to do, and Lance loved him all the more

for it. Magnus didn"t like dancing very much, but he was

obviously willing to give Lance what he needed at that

moment. The music was too good to sit still.

It was early evening when they decided, by mutual

agreement, that it was time to make their escape. They were

going to stay at the Hotel J on Nacka Strand for their

wedding night. It was a boutique hotel, the views of the water

were magnificent, and their honeymoon suite with its

Jacuzzi was one of the best in the city. Their flight didn"t

leave until the next afternoon, so they"d have time to enjoy

the room.

Unless they got stuck in the bed, which was not

something Lance would object to.

Jakob put on a brave face when they hugged him.

“We"ll see you in a week.” Magnus kissed the boy on

both cheeks. “Be good to
Farmor
Carine and
Farfar
Enar,

okay?”

Jakob nodded.

“We"ll miss you.” Lance hugged Jakob and gave him two

more kisses. “Thank you for giving us a week on our own.

We know it"s hard for you, and you"re being very good about

it.”

“I love you both.” Jakob smiled and stepped back,

holding onto his grandparents" hands. “Have fun together.”

Lance had tears in his eyes when they got into the limo.

Jakob was the most special kid he"d ever met.

The final words of the ceremony came back to him when

he leaned back into the soft leather of the limo. He linked

hands with Magnus, and they smiled at each other, their

focus back on them as a couple for a while. He was really

married to Magnus now. It made him happier than he"d

thought possible.

When they"d made it inside their room, their bags placed

on the special rack, Magnus swept him off his feet and

deposited him on the bed in one elegant move. He loved that

his husband was so strong. Yet, when they started to

undress each other, he was so gentle that Lance was out of

breath with anticipation before he was even naked.

A long hot shower was next, and washing, then drying

each other was added to the foreplay. By the time Lance was

back on the bed and Magnus started to give him an all-body

massage, he was already melted. Except for his cock. That

was so hard it almost hurt, and Magnus"s loving attention to

it and his now well-lubed asshole didn"t exactly help.

“Baby, please.” Lance looked at his new husband with

all the pleading he could muster. “As much as I love what

you"re doing to me, I don"t want to come until you"re inside

me. Especially our first time as husbands.”

“God, it makes me hot when you call me your husband.”

Magnus pulled his fingers out of Lance"s clenching hole,

moved over him, and put his legs on his shoulders.

It looked like the other man was getting ready for a good

pounding.

Finally!

Magnus entered him slowly, making sure he was okay.

But he didn"t want slow and careful at this point. He needed

fast and furious. Remembering how excited Magnus got

when he circled his hips when they fucked, Lance started to

move in little teasing circles that became bigger the farther

in Magnus pushed his hard cock.

Älskling
!” Magnus"s voice sounded desperate, and the

other man stiffened as he tried to hold it together.

“Fuck me, husband.” Lance grinned when Magnus"s

eyes widened.

“Fuck.” Magnus stared at him for a moment, still

motionless.

When he pulled out and pushed back in, Lance heaved

a sigh of relief. Magnus started thrusting into him with such

force, that he began moving across the bed. But the other

man slid his arms under his shoulders, grabbing him so that

he wouldn"t move, and kept the speed and depth of his

thrusts up at unbelievably satisfying levels.

Lance wasn"t going to make it for very long. He held

back with everything in him, wanting this to last forever, but

it was too much.

“Magnus!” He came so hard that his whole body shook

as hot spurts of semen decorated his chest.

“Lance!” Magnus started shaking with his orgasm and

filled Lance"s still-clenching channel with his hot release.

Magnus collapsed onto his side, pulling him along so

they were still linked as closely as possible while they caught

their breaths. Aftershocks prolonged their pleasure, and he

enjoyed the companionable silence.

“Wow.” Magnus grinned as he grabbed a small towel

from the bedside table and carefully cleaned them up a little.

“I didn"t think that sex with you could get better. But I

proved that theory completely wrong just now.”

“I know what you mean.” Lance cuddled in, putting his

head where it belonged, so he could listen to Magnus"s

heartbeat. “I guess that being married supersedes all the

known Mistletoe Effects. And we"ve tried a few.”

“Oh, yes.” Magnus kissed him, then settled in for a nap.

“Knowing that married sex is the best sort of sex possible,

nicely concludes our Mistletoe Experiment, don"t you think?”

“I couldn"t agree more.” Lance smiled, completely at ease

with himself and the world.

Spending the rest of his life with Magnus at his side was

better than any scenario he could have come up with.

Mistletoe or no mistletoe was no longer the question. How to

make his husband happy was the new challenge.

About the Author

SERENA YATES is the pen name for a night owl who starts

writing when everyone else in her time zone is asleep. She

has loved reading all her life and spent most of her childhood

with her nose buried in a book. Although she always wanted

to be a writer, financial independence came first. Twenty-

some years and a successful business career later she took

some online writing classes and never looked back.

Living and working in seven countries has taught her that

there is more than one way to get things done. It has

instilled tremendous respect for the many different cultures,

beliefs, attitudes and preferences that exist on our planet.

Serena likes exploring those differences in her stories, most

of which happen to be romances. Her characters have a

tendency to want to do their own thing, so she often has to

rein them back in. The one thing they all agree on is the

desire for a happy ending.

She currently lives in the United Kingdom, sharing her

house with her vast collection of books. She likes reading,

traveling, spending time with her nieces and listening to

classical music. She has a passion for science and learning

new languages.
