Fifteen minutes later on the ride home, Shane drove and had Becky’s number, even a date that
evening, as Sebastian was smirking and asked, “Hey, you don’t need me to go on the date to help
out?”
“Very funny brother”.
“I know” and Sebastian laughed for the first time since Mandy’s accident. .
A few days go by.
After the ruckus, Sebastian had caused over the young boy that attacked Mandy.
Another dark haired boy that was an inmate had questioned Mandy’s attacker and told him,
“Well Wiley boy number one, got sort of a rough payback, huh?”
Chapter 23.

Shook hands laughing and the dark haired boy gives such an evil smile and added, “The rest
will be even better, ripping their hearts out!” The other boy just looked at him.
Both boys become silent, the dark haired boy had tears and mumbled,
“Paw?”

Later that evening, Shane rushed out for his date with Becky, dressed nice and Sebastian
stood by the back screen door yelling, “Sure you don’t need my help?”
The following night in the bar, it seemed that life does move forward.

Shane and his two brothers with Rodney all pointed grinning looking onto Sebastian standing
by a very attractive young woman that had shoulder length dark auburn hair and wearing tight
blue jeans with a red turtleneck sweater tightly surrounding her large busty figure.
She also had on high heel clog shoes.

She was very pretty and seem Sebastian sure noticed, as they both were talking he even
laughed some and sure seem to be into each other, as Sebastian was actually blushing.
Behind the counter, Brenda and Paul Gene were very busy and definitely noticed their boy all
smiles after almost four months.
Brenda even giggled at her boy glowing finally.
Then Brenda’s happy expression turned quickly into eye rolling, as a fight just had to break out
and very bad.

Especially, as Shane comes flying into the bar counter and Paul Gene said, “Hey boy, please
stay far from the windows”.
Out of breath, “Oh yeah paw, right, it’s just my face about to get broke”.

Pointing her finger at Shane, “You’re a darn fibber looks like Sebastian’s face is about to
break”, said Brenda looking at Sebastian down on the floor and a man kicking him directly in his
face.
Suddenly, another man charged Shane over the counter and drinks fell, upset, Brenda instantly
threw her hands up saying, “Later I am gone”.
Shane was punched repeatedly and yelled, “Hey see maw, I don’t lie my face is breaking too”.

Therefore, Brenda walked away fast witnessing her boys taking a beating and hurried by
blood squirting, glanced back and saw it was from Saul taking punch after punch and rushed to
the back doors then heard Shane yelling out,
“AW, I’M BURYING YOU DUDE!”

Hurrying to get out the bar Brenda even covered her ears then reaching the doors Brenda did
run out and walking to the big old house in back.

Feeling a bit relieved and folding her hands she said, “Aw, no place sweeter than home”.
Luckily, Brenda left because it was a battle actually and her boy’s faces become a bloody mess, as
they gave their all fighting trying their hardest to overcome.

However, the men they fought against, were mighty rough and Paul Gene feared his boys
might take a loss with this one.
Especially, as Sebastian was tackled down to the floor again and the man on him swung
powerful punches repeatedly straight in Sebastian’s bloody face and for the first time ever
Sebastian shouts,
“GET HIM THE FUCK OFF ME!”

Paul Gene stood worried first time ever and felt like Brenda and wished one of the other boys
could help, but they become punching bags too.
Bleeding badly, Seth heard his brothers shouting, “ENOUGH!” He had enough of this fight too,
and rarely liked to use his moves, but it was time.

Right as Seth spun around throwing a roundhouse kick and the man flew into the wall, Seth
finishes him off, and was going to help his brothers that endured enough pain and were furious
at this point and they took over.
Paul Gene let his deep breath out saying, “That’s it boys, end this crap!”
The crowd in the bar stood in shock at first, but now was cheering the Wiley’s on.

Brenda was home sitting by the kitchen table eating a donut and asked, “Oh Ella these are
fantastic, try one?”
Putting her hand up, “No thank you, I am huge”, replied Ella looking at the box filled with an
assortment of donuts.
Waving her hand, Brenda added, “Aw sugar one donut won’t hurt”.
“I won’t eat just one”, said Ella smiling and Brenda giggled taking another bite.
The back door opened and Paul Gene walked in, Brenda looked at him saying, “Why you home,
it’s only 10:30”, and he replied, “Aw closed the bar down tonight”.
“Why?” Brenda was worried.

When her four badly battered boys walk in, their shirts were torn and completely covered in
blood. Including their face, as eyes were swollen shut they just looked a bloody mess.
“MY BOYS!” Cried out Brenda trembling and Ella took one look screaming,
“OH MY GOD!”
She literally passed out from such a horrifying site and they all screamed “Ella!”

A few minutes later, Ella opens her eyes, felt a cold cloth on her head, she saw Brenda sitting
next to her and asked, “What happen?”
Rubbing Ella’s hand, she replied, “You passed out dear over the boys beaten up”.
“Are they okay?”
“They will be”.
Frantic, “Will be, where are they?” Ella asked with tears rolling.
“The hospital honey, seems my boys got roughed up pretty bad this time I do not know nothing
yet”.

Tears rolled and Ella turned over gripping the pillow tightly she asked, “Who carried me in
here?”
“Sebastian actually, that was very concerned about you falling on the floor in your condition, but
he got to you first”. Ella was quiet and Brenda remarked, “Lord, I worried he would trip holding
you, because his eyes are practically swollen shut, but they all look bad, worst I ever saw with my
boys”.
Softly spoken, “Only Sebastian?” Ella in tears.
Putting her hand by her face, “Oh no, all my boys eyes are swollen shut”, replied Brenda upset.
Bowing her head Ella was silent and noticing her frown, Brenda added, “All four were in here
before they left, but did not want to scare you again, figured they should clean up first”.
“I’m worried about them Brenda, I love them”, patting Ella’s leg, “I know you do sugar and my
boys sure love you”, said Brenda with a smile.
Ella gives a slight smile, Brenda noticed and added, “My boys were sure worried about you
falling, bet they still are and cannot wait to get home to you”.
One hour later, Brenda words exactly, as her four boys showered and cleaned up first then stood
near the bed Ella lay on, she just looked at swollen black eyes and was glad they are home.
Looking at the four badly beaten Wiley boys, Ella had tears roll and said, “You all scared me
something awful tonight”.

They remained silent and she wiped tears saying, “I love you guys”, and she cried heavily.
Saul sat on the bed saying, “Hey calm down”.
“Yeah relax Ella the baby”, added Sebastian.
“We are all right Ella”, said Shane then Seth said, “We love you too Ella girl”.
Paul Gene and Brenda become teary eyed.
The Wiley boys once again survived taking a very rough beating that night and proved their
strength to the extreme, as they actually won in the end.

Throughout the night, as Ella slept, Saul entered the bedroom checking on her, he had two
swollen black eyes and stood a few minutes, yawned then walked out.
Number two, walked into the bedroom a half hour later and Shane had a black eye that was
swollen shut, he said, “Sleep tight Ella”, and walked out of the room.

Sebastian walked in around 4:00 am, and stood next to the bed, he could barely see as his face
was sure battered.
He mumbles, “Aw, Ella you scared the heck out of me falling on the floor with the baby, thank
god everything is okay”.
Blurred vision he strain looking at Ella sleeping for a few minutes, and sniffled turning around
walking out.

One hour later, Seth was the last to enter Ella’s bedroom he had a swollen black eye and
busted lip and walked over to the bed, saying, “Sleep sound my beauty, I love you”, and turned
around walking out.
Come morning their paw had to have the windows replaced to the bar, many tables with a new
pinball and cigarette machine.
When Brenda saw her battered boys she told Paul Gene might have to shut the bar down a
second night they all can’t afford to get in a fight like that?
Therefore, Paul Gene closed the bar down that Saturday night, first time this ever happened.
Since it was a weekend, they all went to the movies and Ella was happy to have a night out.
Furthermore, Samantha was in good hands with a close neighbor that lived next door, sweet
middle aged woman, Deloris that had many grandchildren and adored Samantha.
In the dark movie theater, Ella sat in between Saul and Shane, as she could not help to giggle at
Shane cramming popcorn in his mouth.
Brenda could literally hear him and mumbled, “Good grief, acts like he never ate”, and Sebastian
ignored him, as Seth smirked.

Two hours later, the Wiley’s left the movie theater and made it back home, Paul Gene walked
up on the porch, Brenda said, “Hey y’all I’m going to get Samantha”.
Paul Gene’s eyes become huge and Brenda headed next door when he yelled, “NO BRENDA!”

Noticing the front door cracked open, his boys stood on the lawn asking, “What paw?”
He turned around looking at swollen eyes and said, “Door is open, check it out boys”, and all
four hurry inside, as Ella stood on the lawn asking, “What?” Trembling.
Brenda rushed up next to Ella asking, “What is going on?”
“Someone must have broken in”, replied Paul Gene.
Wide-eyed, “WHAT!” Brenda yelled with her hand by her mouth.
“What if the burglars are still inside, they can’t fight no more”, said Ella shivering.

Placing her arms around Ella that was terrified, Brenda told her, “Relax sugar my boys can and
sure would to keep this family safe”.
Standing by the open door Paul Gene remained silent, as the women worried.
All of a sudden, the sound of glass breaking with the boys yelling, Ella shook badly and holding
onto her Brenda feared all this would put Ella into labor.

Pointing toward the house, Ella asked, “What’s going on in there?” Shaking his head Paul Gene
replied, “Don’t know yet?”
Panicky, “Well call the cops”, said Ella putting her trembling hands against her face.

“Maybe we should?” Brenda adds hearing her boys shouting.
Putting his hand up, Paul Gene said, “Be still just wait”, and Ella asked, “For what, them to be
slaughtered?” He shook his head mumbling, “Aw would never happen girl”.
Shaking like a leaf, “I’m scared, I could never lose them Brenda”, said Ella in tears.
“Aw honey you won’t, my boys are strong, don’t you know that by now”, and Ella just shook her
head not replying, as she waited for the Wiley boys to come out.
After a few more minutes, Saul comes out onto the porch holding a cat and said, “Aw fool here
forgot to lock the door”.
Sneezing, “Heck my eyes, I thought I did”, said Shane suffering.
Sebastian stood next to him snarling and Seth was giggling, because Shane was allergic to cats.
Paul Gene asked, “No signs of anything else?”

Three boys shook their head-meaning no, as the fourth sneezed in a row.
Paul Gene looked at the females and said, “Coast is clear”, and Ella asked, “You sure, someone
could be hiding in a closet?”

Now Saul snarled saying, “Nah, we checked them, under beds too, think I’m dumb like Shane”
that sneezes saying, “Hey that was rude”, and sneezed again adding, “Get that dang cat away
from me”, Seth was laughing.
With his burly arms folded, “So true”, remarked Sebastian.

Setting the cat down Saul walked into the house and Shane rushed in fast, now Sebastian
laughed and Seth asked, “Hey maw can we keep the cat always wanted one”, suddenly yanked
into the house by Shane, saying, “Aw trying to kill me”, everyone laughed..

Later that night, after the whole family reassured Ella that she was safe, she was in her
bedroom having trouble sleeping and still rather scared.
Pulled the pink comforter up to her chin mumbling, “I hear footsteps?”

Her eyes become huge when she saw the door handle turning and ready to scream, Saul
walked into the bedroom and Ella let her deep breath out saying, “Thanks, you scared me to
death”.
“Sorry”, he replied walking towards the bed, she asked, “What do you want?”
“I think you know the answer Ella”, that thought ew and said, “Get out before I do scream”.
Saul sat down on the end of the bed and she said, “Seriously Saul, I told you to leave”.
“I don’t want to”.
“Fine sit there, but I’m tired”.
“Aw come on Ella, you act like I’m always on you”.
“No not on me, but many others”.
“All right would you just stop”, said Saul and starts rubbing her leg over the covers she thought
unbelievable he comes to me horny only.

Leaning further on the bed closer to Ella, “I’ll keep you safe”, added Saul grinning at her,
and looking at his badly beaten face she replied, “I’m not scared”.
“Yeah right”.
“Please go Saul”, that hung his head saying, “Tonight was sure nice going to the movies it felt
like a date”, and Ella knew what he was getting at, sweet talking bull.

Suddenly, the shutters to the window rattled, Ella jumps saying, “Oh god hold me Saul!”
Instantly, Ella was nestled in Saul’s arms that held her tight.
Quietly, “Do not hurt me”, said Ella.

Holding tighter he kissed the top of her head and said, “Aw no baby, I’m gonna make sweet
love to you?”
“That’s not what I meant Saul”.
“I know just let tonight happen okay, no worries”.

Ella thought, no just my heart broken again, as Saul was kissing her neck and Ella could not
help but melt, because Saul was very good and sure had enough experience at satisfying a
woman.
He had to tell Ella a few times during the hot passion of love making, “Keep those moans down”,
she couldn’t help it.

However, sad to say a few days later, Ella found out that Saul took some woman to the movies
she was very upset, knowing that he would hurt her again and sure did.
She sat on her bed crying heavily saying, “How can he do this to me, after the other night it was
truly magical”. Tears flow and she added, “Only for a moment”.
“I will never hold Saul’s heart and he will always break mine”.
