He smiled in approval as she slipped on the new flats he had purchased for her. “I’m ready,” she said with a little bounce.

Mitch laughed and wrapped his hands around her waist. “First, we are going to go shopping then we will get married,” he said.

Nairobi’s eyes widened as she realized that he had been telling the truth when he said they would be married today. She did not know what married in America really meant and she wondered if she would be able to handle the job. As they walked down the stairs, she found herself wondering what the women in this country did. There was no water to gather, no fields to work, and no animals to care for.

“What is my job?” Nairobi asked Mitch as they headed out to his car.

Mitch looked at her confused. “Your job?” he asked.

“Yes, what do I do?” she said, trying to find the right words.

“You just spend time with me and have fun,” he answered her.

“Have fun,” she laughed. “American girls just have fun?”

They got into the car and Mitch explained how many American women chose to have jobs of their own while others chose to have children and how still others who were lucky like Nairobi did not have to do anything but enjoy life with their husbands.

Nairobi did not understand how she was supposed to have fun, but she was willing to try. She wanted to make Mitch happy and if he wanted her to have fun that was what she was going to do. Mitch took her first to the hair salon and had her hair treated and styled. She had never worried about being beautiful before, but as she looked in the mirror she felt beautiful. The stylist also showed her how to do her own makeup and Mitch bought her everything that she needed.

The next stop was a huge mall. Nairobi stayed close to Mitch when she saw all of the people. She had never imagined that so many people would gather in one building. She had never seen so many people in all of her life and the thought of losing Mitch in the crowd scared her.

Mitch picked out tons of outfits, had workers pick outfits out for her and after a few hours Nairobi was exhausted. She did not understand why women in this country loved shopping so much. It was more work than she had ever done and she did not understand why she needed so many clothes, but it seemed to make Mitch happy.

Once the two of them finished shopping they grabbed a bite to eat and were back in the car again. This time they were headed to a place that Mitch called Las Vegas. He told Nairobi that it was a few hours away and that she could rest if she wanted.

He had his hand on her leg when she fell asleep and she could feel the heat from his hand warming her thigh. There was something about the way his hands felt on her body that warmed her completely. Soon she was nodding off. Mitch could only imagine what a toll all of the changes she was dealing with must be for her. Not only was she in a new country she was being exposed to completely new foods and a totally new culture. He hoped that she would adjust soon so that she was not so easily exhausted.

It took several hours of driving before they arrived in Las Vegas. When they finally did arrive it was dark and the city was completely lit up. Mitch did not want Nairobi to miss seeing the city so he gently shook her to wake her.

She rubbed her eyes and as soon as they adjusted she began to look around and take in all of the sights. She reminded him of a kid in a candy store and the smile on her face was all he needed to know that she really was happy.

They found a small chapel and got married before he took her to a few casinos and a show. It was late before they checked into their hotel, but the two of them were bursting with energy. Mitch grabbed a few things out of the back of his car before they checked in and they headed up to their room. Mitch had booked the presidential suite, thinking that the honeymoon suite was a little tacky.

Nairobi had never been in a hotel before and Mitch knew that he could have gotten the smallest room and she would have been happy, but he wanted to show her all of the finer things in life. When they arrived at their room, Mitch took their new clothes and bags to the bedroom and walked back into the front room. He found Nairobi, looking at all of the furniture, running her hands over the wood and smiling.

She turned to him. “I feel like a princess,” she said, with tears in her eyes.

It was that moment that Mitch realized that she was more to him than just a mail order bride. The two of them had a deep connection that he had never felt with anyone else. He wanted to not only spend the rest of his life with her so that he was not alone, but he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her because he loved the person that she was.

Mitch walked up to Nairobi and wrapped his arms around her, “You are a princess,” he said to her, “You are my princess and you will always be treated like a princess.” Nairobi looked up at him with a huge smile on her face. Her dark brown eyes full of trust and love. Mitch pressed his lips against hers and kissed her passionately. He pulled at her dress until he had it lifted above her waist.

He pulled his lips back from her and continued to lift the dress over her head until it came free and he could let it fall to the floor. Underneath the dress Nairobi wore nothing and Mitch smiled as he told himself that he needed to show her what a bra and panties were for.

Mitch ran his hands down the front of her body until they reached her breasts gently, he flicked both of her nipples with his thumbs, causing them to become hard and stiff. Mitch lowered his head and sucked one of them into his mouth. Nairobi let out a quiet moan as he caressed her hard nipple with is warm tongue.

He moved his other hand around her back and pulled her into him. She could feel the hardness that was growing in his pants pressing between her legs. She knew that his desire for her was strong. Nairobi placed one of her hands in his blonde hair, gently rubbing his head as he continued to suck and flick at her nipple, allowing small moans to escape her lips.

Mitch wasted no time and quickly slid his hand between her thighs, feeling the moisture that was building. Nairobi squealed at his touch and jumped where she stood. Her eyes began to flutter as he found her clit and began to rub it gently with his finger. Her body stiffened as she tightened her grip on his head.

Mitch released her nipple from his mouth and raised his head to look at her. He wanted to see her reaction to his touch. Nairobi moaned as her fluids dripped from her slit. He slid his finger down her and teased her opening. He felt her body tense up even more.

“Let’s go to the bed,” Mitch whispered in her ear. He could see the fear in her eyes, and gently kissed her. “I promise I am not going to hurt you,” he said before leading her to the bedroom of the hotel suite.

Once they were in the bedroom Mitch stood in front of Nairobi with his hands on her waist. He pushed against her, causing her to back up until her legs hit the bed. Mitch continued to push, making her lay on the bed. He looked down at her, her trusting eyes looking up at him and began to take off his own clothes.

As he undressed Nairobi moved up onto the bed, placing her head on one of the pillows. She spread her body out across the bed, allowing him to take in all that she had to offer him. When Mitch unzipped his pants, allowing his cock to be free, her eyes were drawn directly to it. It was much larger than she had expected and Mitch could see the fear growing in her eyes. He let his pants fall to the floor and stepped out of them before climbing on the bed.

He positioned himself between Nairobi’s legs, pushing them far apart. He bent down and began kissing her trying to help her relax as he pressed his throbbing cock against her opening. He knew that he was going to cause her some pain, and went slow for her benefit. He began pumping against her opening until the tip of his cock slid inside. He continued the pumping until he stretched her pussy and was able to enter her inch by inch.

When he was finally completely inside of her he looked into her eyes. Tears were welling up and he could see the confusion. “It gets better,” he promised.

Nairobi nodded her head, unable to speak. Mitch slowly began thrusting in and out of her until she began to moan. He reached down, in between their flat stomachs, flicking her clit. The louder she moaned the faster he pumped into her until he was on the brink of coming.

Nairobi felt his cock swell even more inside of her and her legs began to shake. She grabbed for the sheets, not sure what was going on. She had never felt this much pleasure in her life. Nairobi arched her back and her pussy began contracting around his cock.

Mitch groaned, pumping fast into her, causing her tits to shake just before he released his hot cum into her body, completely filling her up. Mitch fell down on the bed, catching himself with his arms, before he fell onto Nairobi. He kissed her neck and chest, then kissed her passionately on the lips before sliding his cock out of her.

Mitch rolled off of her and laid on the bed, both of them trying to catch their breath. Nairobi looked at Mitch smiling. “Now I am your wife,” she said, still breathing heavily. Mitch wrapped his arm around her and the two of them fell asleep completely naked in each other’s arms.

The next morning they headed for the mountains. The drive was long, but they spent time getting to know each other. Nairobi told Mitch stories of her childhood. How she had grown up and how her mother’s only dream for her was to come to America.

Mitch talked about growing up in America and realized just how lucky he was. Even his worst story from his childhood sounded a million times better than anything Nairobi had been through. He felt bad and wished that he had been able to save her sooner.

He thought about all of the girls that were in South Africa and everything that they went through each day. Not all of the conversation was serious. They joked and played with each other, pulled over to eat and make love when things got heated between them. Mitch had wondered if he would be able to keep up with her in bed, but each time he saw her naked body he knew that he would never have that problem.

The two of them arrived in the mountains late in the evening. Mitch had booked a private cabin for the two of them for a month. The first week the two of them rarely left the bed. They only stopped having sex long enough to eat, sleep and shower before they began again.

It was the second week when they finally walked out of the cabin and began to explore. Mitch could not get over the way that Nairobi looked at him. There was nothing but love in her eyes and she did not want to be away from him. When he would tell her that he was going to go grab food or other supplies she was sure to go with him. He did not even have to ask, and that made him happy.

On the fourth week at the cabin Nairobi began feeling sick. On Wednesday of that week Mitch woke up to the sound of Nairobi sobbing in the bathroom. He jumped out of bed and ran to her. She was sitting on the floor with her head over the toilet crying. She looked up at him.

“I am dying,” she sobbed.

Mitch sat in the floor next to her. “What’s wrong?” he asked.

Nairobi turned her head suddenly and began throwing up. Mitch reached up and took her hair in his hand and slid the other hand down her back. “You aren’t dying,” he said, smiling at her. Nairobi wiped her mouth and then her tears and looked at him.

“What is wrong with me?” she asked.

Mitch wrapped his arms around her. “I think you’re pregnant,” he said, smiling.

Nairobi’s eyes widened as she looked up at him. She did not know what to think. In her country, it was not a good thing to become pregnant and she was not sure how he would react. Mitch could not have been happier. He kissed Nairobi on the forehead before pulling her onto his lap.

Mitch had never felt so much love for a woman in all of his life and he hoped that he could be the man that she needed and the man that their baby needed.

Mitch knew right then that he did not care what anyone said about him ordering Nairobi. She was his life and she was the best decision that he had ever made. He was going to do whatever it took to make sure that she was happy. He decided that he would talk to her about bringing her mother over from South Africa. She was the only family that Nairobi had ever talked about and he wanted his wife to be happy.

He did not want her to worry about what had happened to her mother or wonder each day if her mother were alive. He also knew how important it would be for her to have her mother with her when she had the baby. When he suggested it, she smiled, and they touched, and soon they were back in the bed, naked and sweaty.

He smiled as he looked at Nairobi bouncing up and down on his lap. He grabbed her breasts as they jiggled and listened to the small moans that were escaping her lips. As she came she bucked wildly against him, causing him to fill her once again. They both knew that nothing would ever come between them and as Mitch wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her down his shaft she knew what love was.

THE END

Her Unexpected Billionaire

Chapter one

I sit here looking at it, salivating at the chance to savor the taste and I know that the urge will be too much of a temptation to walk away from. It mocks me and I reach for it, only to catch myself before I go too far. It’s not time and I have to refrain from indulging in this culinary delight. I’ve always been overanxious and even at Christmas my parents would come down and find me already tearing into things. This was no different, and that package was sitting there, waiting for me to do something about it.

“I don’t know what you’re waiting for, Vivian. We both know that you’re not going to be able to hold out for the next hour.”

It was only 11:00 AM and my dinner was my favorite Chinese meal of all time. It was the only place in the city that I’d found Chinese food that had rivaled what I had when I was in China. It was run by this little old couple that knew exactly what they were doing and they prided themselves on being authentic.

“Brad, I can hold out for as long as I have to.” Brad was my assistant and I felt lucky that I had poached him from my old firm. I’d walked away from a six figure salary that could’ve easily become even bigger, if I was able to keep my mouth shut. Unfortunately, my good sense won over and I walked away, before I became the monster that each and every one of the oters in that building had become. They didn’t care about the little guy and they would step over them, just so they could earn a bigger paycheck.

Being African American, it was quite the adjustment to go it alone. People weren’t willing to take me seriously and I had a lot of work to do to earn their trust. I’ve been on my own for the past five years and I can honestly say that I can look in the mirror and respect the person that I was looking at. She might’ve been a little older at thirty-five, but she was wiser and had finally found that she wasn’t just doing it for the money. I had a few more lines around my eyes, but nothing that a bit of makeup couldn’t cover.

“Vivian, I’m not going to be surprised if I come in here in the next teb minutes and see you already eating without me. You’ve never been one to resist something that was delicious. I don’t even dare bring you those blueberry scones anymore.”

At the very mention of those delicate treats, my mouth started to water and I turned my attention towards the Styrofoam container that is still warm to the touch. “Vivian, try to have some restraint.” This was my only remaining vice. I had quit smoking when I left my other firm. That was five years ago and I still crave that cigarette. That sweet release of toxic fumes was still tempting after a long day’s work.

“Brad, for once I am going to wait until noon. You wait and see. It’s just a matter of will power.”

He smiled, most likely knowing that I would never be able to take myself at my own word.

When I entered into a courtroom, people didn’t take me seriously. Maybe they thought that I was too dainty at five-six, one-thirty-five, with long black hair that went down to the small of my back. Maybe it was the kindness of my emerald eyes. With all of this going for me, I would lull them into a false sense of security. Once I got going I was a pit bull and I had no problem taking down a corporation for illegal dumping or any other atrocities.

Recently, I had been turning my attention towards contractual law and that was what I majored in at law school. I guess I was lured away from my morals by big money and promises of becoming a partner.

I had dusted off those contractual law skills and found that I was finally finding my niche. Word of mouth was where I got most of my clients. I would not stoop to the level of advertising on a park bench or the side of a bus. McKenzie law was now synonymous for helping those small companies to survive in this dog eat dog world.

I have a client that just hired me to make sure that their interests were my main concern. They told me that they thought that this big company that wanted to merge with them was trying to pull a fast one. They had given me the contract and I had gone over it with a fine tooth comb. If I wasn’t that damn good, I probably wouldn’t have found it. There was a fine print amendment that said after the first year that if the smaller company didn’t reach a certain level of productivity than the bigger company could take it over without any monetary supplement. That was in layman’s terms and it took me a long time to unravel the legal jargon that this company’s high priced lawyers had put together.

I had a meeting with that company’s owner and I was going to unceremoniously tell him that this was never going to fly. He wasn’t going to like it, but he was going to have to live with the fact that we were going to have to come up with something that would benefit both companies and not just one.

I looked at the photo on my desk. The smiling face in the picture had always brought a tear to my eye. She was always going to be my little girl, no matter if she was in heaven or not. Her death had hit me hard and I think I finally realized that God does work in mysterious ways. Her loss afforded me the opportunity to look at myself more closely. At the time I had been working my nails to the bone just to continue the party line making the rich richer and the poor poorer. I wanted to be better than that and make Angela, my little girl, proud of me as she sat looking down from her cloud above.

She would have been ten years old today and I have this tradition of one small cupcake with boiled icing on top. It was my little girl’s favorite and here it was sitting on my desk, as a treat after a meal that was fit for a queen. I had to give myself credit for holding back for as long as I did. It was ten minutes to noon, when I finally couldn’t take it anymore. By the time Brad came in just a few minutes later, I was already polishing off the last noodle.

“I knew it! I should’ve gone with my instinct and came in here earlier. At least you saved the best part for last.”

Brad and I were able to work together and even flirt a little. He wasn’t even gay. He wasn’t my type, and he was already married anyway. I’d met his lovely bride and we had gotten along famously. He was completely void of hair and I’d heard him talk often about swimming professionally. The stubble on his cheeks was cute. If he hadn’t been married, maybe I would have tried something. Eaten him up like I was going to eat that cupcake.

“I think that we should share that in the memory of your daughter,” he suggested.

I cut it straight down the middle with a very sharp metal letter opener. I passed him his piece and we raised our halves in salute to her memory. We savored that small morsel and then we sat in silence for the next five minutes in silent prayer. I was holding onto my cross and I was reliving those memories that made it easier for me to get up in the morning.

“I know that I’m early, but this is the only time that I have.” I raised my head and came face to face with this giant of a man. He was wearing this charcoal suit with a red power tie that was meant to intimidate. His dark hair was cut short and he looked every bit the professional that I was. “If you can’t do it now, then I can’t do it at all.”

He was obviously trying to usurp my authority and take control of the meeting. What he didn’t know was that I had the smoking gun and I was going to lay it at his feet and see what his reaction was going to be.

Chapter two

He stood by the window with his hands behind his back, trying to get underneath my skin. It wasn’t working and yet he was still trying to play the big man on campus.

“Mister Young, I thought it best that we meet in private, so that we could go over this contract. I use that term loosely, because we both know that it’s not worth the paper it’s printed on. You’re used to getting your own way, but I can’t in good conscience allow you to play fast and loose with this company’s future. They hired me to do a job and I have given them my word that I will make sure everything is aboveboard. You know as well as I do that your lawyers have a way of making those that don’t know legal jargon scratch their heads. Unfortunately, I do know what they were trying to say.”

He turned and I could see that he was well put together and that he was no stranger to a gym. “Miss Mackenzie, I think that we can agree that negotiations are a bit tricky at the best of times. I’m sure that we can come to an arrangement.” He pulled out a blank check and put it on my desk in front of my beloved Angela’s face. “Whatever it takes to sooth your conscience.”

He was trying to bribe me and I wanted to slap him across the face, but I thought it better that I play with kid gloves. “Do not even pretend to know who I am, Mister Young. I can not be bribed and there is no number that is going to make me betray the confidence of my client. I would like to tell you where you can stick that check, but I don’t think that you’ll like it much.”

He sat down and he crossed his leg with his two hands firmly planted on top of his knee. “Come now, Miss McKenzie. We both know how hard it is for a woman to make it in this profession. It has to be doubly hard for an African American woman.” I couldn’t believe that he was using that card. “This would make your life a whole lot easier and all you have to do is look the other way.”

With each word that was coming out of his mouth, I wanted to wrap my hands around his throat and choke him, until there was no life left in his eyes. “Oh, I see…you thought that since I was a woman and Black that you could walk all over me like a doormat. I can assure you that that’s not gonna happen and the sooner that you get that through your thick skull, the better off the both of us will be. Now, I may not like you. Actually I despise everything that you stand for, but that’s beside the point. It doesn’t mean that we can’t work together. I would really like to tell my clients that you are being reasonable. If not, they’ll take their business elsewhere. I’ve done my research on you and your company and we both know that you’re not the one that’s helping them. In fact, it’s the other way around. Your numbers have been stagnant for the last three years and you need this new product to make yourself a growing concern again.”

I was wearing a very tasteful black pantsuit, the picture of a competent attorney,  and if he was looking to give attitude, then he was going to get it back tenfold.

“Nobody talks to me like that, young lady. I’m not sure if I should like it or hate it. Let’s say for argument’s sake that you’re right and that my company is in a financial crisis. I don’t see how that matters and if this benefits your clients, then why wouldn’t you go to bat for them?” He was good. He was trying to turn it around and was doing a pretty good job of it.

“I would love to make this work for all parties concerned, but we’re going to have to go over this contract and make some drastic changes. There will be no flowery words and no legal jargon that’s going to make my clients look at it and wonder what the hell they are getting themselves into.” With the way that his company was floundering, it wasn’t any wonder that he hadn’t declared bankruptcy. “You can see that I can speak my mind with the best of them.”

I was waiting on pins and needles to see what his response was going to be. I half expected him to tell me where to go, but his demeanor had slightly changed and softened somewhat.

I think he was using that awkward silence to see if I was going to say something, but I was not going to fall for that kind of bait. Instead, I looked at my mahogany desk and remembered it being in my father’s study. It gave me back a sense of family and even though my parents had died, didn’t mean that I didn’t think of them fondly. I had a lot of loss in the past twenty years, but I was strong and confident. I had come out on the other side relatively unscathed.

“I am willing to concede to go over the contract, but I don’t want to do it in a stuffy office. I’ll come by around six and we can go to dinner and go through this in a more pleasant setting.”

I’d never been attracted to White guys, because they really didn’t know how to approach a woman. Brothers were more blunt with their intentions and you knew where you stood from the moment that you saw them playing with those gold chains around their neck.

Before I could even respond, he was already out the door, leaving me completely tongue tied and wondering what the hell happened. It started off with animosity and a back and forth exchange that was quite heated. Now we were going to dinner together and frankly I couldn’t stand the man.

If that was true, then why was I staring at his ass and wondering what it would look like with my teeth imprints in each cheek. I shook myself from that naughty thought. I don’t mix business with pleasure.

“Are you OK, Vivian? I heard what he said to you. I bet it took a lot for you not to kick him square in the balls.” Brad made me smile and then I burst out laughing with no idea where it came from.

“I will admit that I was this close, but he surprised me. I guess we’ll see what happens when I go to dinner with him and then go over this contract. If he thinks that he is going to seduce me into siding with him, then he’s sadly going to be mistaken.” I still couldn’t believe that I was going to dinner with. I do have to say that his company was unique and their service was certainly something that people could use. Unfortunately, he did not believe in advertising and word of mouth was only going to get him so far. He needed to get his name out there and I had a few ideas about using social media to make that happen for him and my client. I knew it worked, because I had done it for my business.

“You can’t be serious,” Brad remarked. “Going to dinner with him was the last thing that I was expecting to hear from you. You like to have home field advantage. I think that he just tricked you into a compromising position.” I hadn’t thought of that before, but it did stand to reason that he would want to change the venue. This way, he could use that to his advantage. What he didn’t know was that I wasn’t going to play that game. This would be nothing but a professional meeting, even though I was thinking of him in a more Biblical sense.
