Xavier looked at his son, trying to listen and focus on what he had just said. Someone wanted him dead? Well, stand in line Muthafucka, he thought. He had many enemies, but none of that stopped him from doing and being the richest man in the tri-state area. He was well-known by all because of his savvy business tactics, and those who didn’t like him, respected him as the great business man that he was. He didn’t care if people liked him, just as long as he was respected and that fact reigned true on a daily basis when his phone constantly rang with more contacts wanting to do business with him. If this was the reason he used to get his attention, he had better come better than that, Xavier thought admiring his handsome son.

He was dressed to the nines, fresh haircut, nice teeth, clean fingernails and he smelled like a man should, successful. He was impressed but no
t
surprised at how well Tory carried himself with confidence and maturity. He didn’t use Ebonics, slang, or any other stereotypical phrases. He was
all business and that alone captured
his attention.

“Come again young man. What did you just say to me? Do you know who I am? I could have your young ass put to sleep right now. So, don’t come in here with some bogus ass shit and expect me to just take your word for it. I need solid proof and evidence of what you’re saying is true. I have many enemies, so you better be more specific.”

Tory was stunned and impressed with his ol’ man.

Damn, this dude
is gansta! He
got
mad
heart. I may just tell him I’m his son and team up with him. From the looks of things, he is doing rather well for himself. Fuck Mya and Simone

, he thought.
Those conniving bitches are bad luck any ways. Nothing they ever done had been good, so why was he chancing his life by working with them? Yeah, he wanted to get close to his brother and father, but his way was turning out to be easier than what they had in mind.
After he finished giving Mr. X the rundown of things, he politely listened to the plan they formulated together and left the office feeling like a million bucks. He didn’t need his father’s money because thanks to Coffee and Java, he had his own. His bank account had seven figures. If things worked out the way his father had just explained it would, he wouldn’t have to worry about Coffee, t
he organization, Mya, Simone or
that bitch Sugah ever.
He could also declare his love to the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. They could be happy. He had money so they could just buy a small island and move there. They could spend their days happy
, together.
He smiled as he walked to his car and drove off with new hopes that finally being accept
ed
by his father was about to come true.

Chapter 2
9

Mya only cared about money and power. She didn’t care about anyone other than herself. Yes
,
she loved her sister and had done whatever she needed to do to look out for her, but she was tired of that. Simone had caused her more pain than she cared to think about and it was time she repaid her for all the things she done to keep other people from
hurt
ing her. The time when she convinced Simone to run away from home with her because she wanted to be with an older man and how she had received all of his attention instead, made Mya even more upset with her sister.
Besides her sister stealing the man she loved, t
wo innocent girls had gotten killed because of them and Simone didn’t have a clue as to what was happening right under her nose
. She lost Dex because of Simone and Khalil. They
would pay, she thought. Mya
didn’t want to hurt her sister, but if
Simone
got in her way, she wouldn’t be held responsible for her actions. It wasn’
t anything f
o
r
her to hurt those who hurt her
,
and
she
wouldn’t start worrying about that now. Her life was already fucked up, so what more could happen to her? The only thing she wanted was to be happy. To be loved unconditionally by someone other than her sister
.
A
lways
Mya
wondered if Simone ever loved her the way she loved her. All the things she done to protect Simone over the years clouded her mind. Mya screamed. She wanted all the painful memories to go away and never return, but somehow each time she closed her eyes they were there.
Her life was a constant nightmare, which she always got defeated. But not this time, she thought getting up from her reading chair.

Reading had always been her favorite past time
since a child
.
Before Bo came along, their mother would still read to them.
When reality was too hard to bear, Mya sought refuge in a good book.
Slowly she walked over to her dresser drawer and pulled out her pills.
Rubbing the back of her neck, she sighed.
She had to calm down. Looking in the bottle, she noticed that she was in need of a refill. It was time she called him. She hated doing so but he was the only person who could help, without anyone finding out. Why couldn’t she love him the way she loved Dex? He was so good to
and for her, but he was boring,
and impotent.
He was only a few years older than she, but he just couldn’t keep her attention long enough for something more to transpire.
What could she possibly do with a half of a man? She loved to fuck too much to be in a relationship of celibacy. She was still young, tight and her pussy ached for sexual healing on a daily basis. Sure he knew how to fuck her with his mouth
and his fingers were incredible
, but she need
ed
something long, hard, thick and
attached to a man at the end of the night. Her pussy jumped just thinking about the things Dex could do with his mou
th, tongue, fingers and his
dick. She missed him, loved him, and needed him.

Mya popped two small blue pills into her mouth, swallowing them easily. She had done this too many times to remember
, so there was no need for water
. Having anxiety wasn’t something she was proud of and after almost having
a nervous breakdown
a
month ago
before moving back to the states, she finally agreed to see a doctor, hence meeting him.
She closed her eyes remembering their first encounter.
She had been shopping at the Farmer’s market in town and saw him, standing there, looking good enough to eat. A local was telling her about a doctor, because her headaches had gotten worse over the weeks and she asked around for someone she could see for help. He was dressed in shorts, flip flops and a muscle shirt, which showcased the guns he called arms, and an amazing ass. Mya smiled just thinking about the many times she gripped that ass. When he turned around and caught her watching him, he flashed the most incredible smile, with perfect teeth. He had dimples that kissed his cheeks, making him look boyish and innocent. He nodded at her, slightly tilting his hand of dreadlocks to the side. The next day when she went to see the doctor she was referred to, she was shocked to learn that her handsome stranger, from the farmer’s market was him. They hit it off immediately, but things slowed down once she learned that he couldn’t use the nice, thick meat, resting between his legs. She didn’t want to accept that fact and tried several times sucking and stroking it, only to be disappointed as well as see the look of disappointment in his eyes.

He pleasured her every other way he knew how but that wasn’t enough for her. She found herself in the arms and beds of total strangers to fulfill her sexual desire. She knew it was wrong, but didn’t care. If she wasn’t happy, she would do anything within her power to make that happen. That was one of the reasons she and Simone fled the island. Her carelessness and free-spirit attitude almost landed her six feet deep. The pounding of her head brought tears to her eyes.
Mya took a deep breath to calm down.
He had consumed enough of her thoughts. It was time to stop taking trips down memory lane. Nothing good ever came from doing that, she thought. She rubbed her temples, but that only made her dizzy. She wanted to scream again but thought about
Simone
. What if she was in the house?
Now was not the time to fall apart, especially being so close to completing her master plan!
No one
else
knew of her need for medication, and she planned on keeping it that way.
Mya popped another blue pill into her mouth. She felt herself calm down a bit.
Taking a deep breath, her head stopp
ed
swimming and she wasn’t as dizzy as before.

Suddenly she heard the front door open. Running into her on-suite bathroom, Mya splashed cool water on her face. She didn’t want Simone to see her out of control nor learn of her taking medication. That
wa
s simply not an option. She was and had always been the strong one. Taking meds was a sign of weakness and she was anything but weak. Patting her face with a white washcloth, she finally emerged from her bedroom
, but not without first making sure her medication was put away back in her hiding spot
.
No one could find out, no one, especially her sister.

Simone was in the kitchen swaying from side-to-side
to the sound of Reggae music,
in front of the stove cooking something that smelled delicious. Mya watched her beautiful sister, smiling. She loved that woman so much. It pained her to know that if her plan didn’t go well
,
they would no longer be together.
Their years of living in Jamaica were being displayed by her sister’s dance moves right there in their kitchen. Mya felt the urge to join her sister, but she wanted to use her movements on a man instead. She always got horny when she danced and since she didn’t have one on hand at the moment, she decided to just keep her composure.
Simone did look good gyrating her hips and ass like that. Mya didn’t know how well her sister could move. If men saw her move like that, they couldn’t help but have hard dicks in her presence. That was something she would pay better attention to. No dancing for Simone in the presence of any man she wanted to seduce that day or
ever
. “Damn,” Mya said watching Simone move her hips and ass in circles going down to the floor, doing a pussy-pop and then
working her way back up again. ‘
This bitch should become a stripper and make us more money. She would clean up and make them other no da
ncing whores get a real 9 to 5.’

Mya continued to watch Simone dance to the sultry island music. She knew that she was a great dancer, had been told many times, but Simone was a natural. She did things with her body
with
poise, confidence, and with a naturally sensual ability. Where did she learn how to move like that? Mya credited her movements from early sexual encounters and practicing in front of the mirror, but Simone was amazing.
T
heir mother had enrolled them in dance classes when she had to get a second job
, when they were younger
. They were naturals, the
ir
instructor told them.
The art of dance was still one of Mya’s favorite joys. When they ran away from home, they left their dance classes too
, but after meeting Jade, they could afford to restart taking classes
.
Once things got hectic and her little plan became reality, they were forced to leave behind dancing yet again.
Every now and then Mya went to a dance studio to see if she still had it. Each time she was the center of attention, receiving applauses from everyone is attendance. She was once offered a full-scholarship to Julie Art, which she had to turn down
because although she looked young, she was way passed the age of becoming a professional dancer
. That was the only part of her life that she regretted not pursuing. Dancing made her feel alive, innocent, and human. She and Dex used to dance all the time in and outside the bedroom.

Simone must have heard her footsteps because she turned around and smiled at her. “Hey Sis
sy
, what’s up!
You startled me.
I am making your favorite meal tonight. I wanted to do something special for you for taking such good care of me over the years. I want you to know that I truly appreciate having
you as my sister…my twin
…my best friend in this entire world
. Now, come on in here and sit yourself down. Dinner will be ready soon.”
Simone danced around the kitchen again, inviting her to join in.
Mya smiled at her sister and walked into the kitchen, taking a seat at the island.
Her head was beginning to hurt
again
so she didn’t dance with her sister.
She should have never taken that third pill. The last time she did that, she slept for three days and when she woke up, she felt like shit. How could she be so careless, Mya chastised herself?

“Did you say something, Sissy,” Simone asked turning to face Mya. Something was up with her sister. She looked tired, like a little girl. What was going on?
