Chapter 23

Mya watched the way Xavier was watching Sugah and Java. She was furious. He was supposed to be hers’ forever, love her always, like he promised her. Her heart still skipped a beat when she saw him, and he still made her pussy wet thinking about the things he could do with his hands, mouth, tongue and enormous dick. When she first seduced him it hurt when he penetrated her, but once she got used to it, she loved it and couldn’t get enough of it. She didn’t want anyone else to have it. Too bad things didn’t work out the way she hoped they would. Mya wiped the single tear sliding down her face away before turning around. When she did, she stopped dead in her tracks. “What are you doing here? We
shouldn’t be seen together.” The person standing in front of her simply smiled and then walked away. Mya was then able to breathe. Things were getting a bit out of hand, and none of them could afford for that to happen.

Simone entered the room beaming like the sun.
M
ya wasn’t fooling anyone but he
rself, she thought watching her sister. She saw the person who was just in the room with her. What was that all about? Hmmm, inquiring minds wanted to know, and would soon. She smoothed her dress and put on her brightest Kodak smile. She would play along for now. But Mya would get what was coming to her.
“Hey Sis, what’s wrong? You look like you just saw a ghost or something.”

Mya waved her hand. “I’m okay. Why in the hell are you late and wipe that stupid grin off your face. I asked you to be on time and you can’t even do that!” Simone knew
then that
something was terribly wrong with her sister, but she didn’t force her to talk. “I’m sorry. There was traffic because of the fashion event
,
and with all of the parties going on tonight I got here as soon as I could.” Simone looked around. “I see that I’
m
not the only one late. Damn, get off my back
I already have a headache
!”

“What did you just say,” Mya called out closing the gap between her and her weak-ass twin.
They stood face-to-face, staring eye-to-eye.
She leaned her ear up to Simone’s mouth. “What…say what you just said again,” she dared. Simone wasn’t in the mood to fight with her sister, so she didn’t bother repeating herself. But one of these days Mya wouldn’t be so lucky. One day soon that bitch would get what she had coming to her. “
Shh…
Can we just please get this over with. I have better things to do, if you don’t mind,” Simone spat. This got Mya’s attention and the look on Simone’s face spoke volumes. She backed down, which was something she never did.
She had never seen Mya look at her like that before.

“Okay, okay, let’s not get feisty. Sit down. This shouldn’t take long,” Mya said in a c
almer tone. She needed her sister to pull this all off and there shouldn’t be any bad blood between
them
. She didn’t know why she suddenly cared so much, but if she had any chance in getting what she wanted Simone was a crucial part of her plan. “Look Simone, I’m sorry okay! I didn’t mean to snap at you. I’m tired, hungry, and ready to go home. I saw Java and Xavier and nearly caught a case, but I knew that that wouldn’t be any good for either of us. Now, can we please just get this over with! The sooner, the better damn, now please sit
yo ass
down!”

Simone saw how stressed her sister looked and didn’t want to add to it. She sat down and gave her sister a light smile. They were sisters, who truly loved each other and had each other’s backs. They were all they had. “Sorry My, but I had a long day too. And you can’t just talk to me like I’m your flunkie or something. That just won’t work, not anymore. Those days are over.”

Mya looked at her twin long and hard, and then burst into laughter. “I see somebody got some dick last night. Bitch, it must have been the shit because you have never talked to me like this. Dayummm, I ain’t mad at cha though.” Simone couldn’t contain her laughter slightly embarrassed. “
Stop it!
I
t’s none of your business. Now come on. What is so important that we need to talk about right now instead of
at home?”

A few minutes passed before Mya was able to stop teasing her sister. She then got all serious. The look on her face was pure evil, Simone witnessed. “We have got to come up with a plan to get that
bitch Sugah to join up with us. She could be of great assistance and importance to us.
We can get her to do all of our dirty work, that way when the shit hits the fan she can also take the fall.
The question is how? How are we going get through to her? She seems to fit in with the others.
Plus she girl is smart and not just in the books. I can tell. She has been through some shit. I wonder just how old she, she looks young as hell.

This pissed Simone off.
“Mya, what are you talking about? She is nobody, we don’t need her. We can do this on our own, just like all the other times. She will only complicate things.” Simone didn’t like Sugah and didn’t want her anywhere near her or Mark.
She saw the way Sugah wanted Mark.
She had to get Mya to be with her on this.
She was also afraid that with Sugah in the picture, Mya wouldn’t see her anymore. She had been overlooked before and that wouldn’t happen to her again, not if she had anything to with it.
Maybe she should just get rid of Mya and then she wouldn’t have to worry about her anymore. Was her sister getting soft all of a sudden because of who she had just seen leave the room? Was seeing Java and Xavier clouding her thought process? Simone was done allowing others to dictate her life, which only caused her more pain than pleasure. Those days were over.

“So what do you suggest we do Mya, because I am really not understanding you right now? What’s going on with you sis, talk to me?”

“Fuck! You are making my ass itch Simone. Stop with the twenty fucking questions, shit! There is nothing wrong with me. I am only trying to look out for us in the long run, that’s all. Maybe we should discuss this later, at home. I’m suddenly not in the mood to be in the same room as you. I can’t even stand looking at your face right now. Just go!”

Simone didn’t know what to say or do. She looked at her sister like a lost puppy, although evil thoughts soared through her. Soon, she told herself become getting up and leaving Mya to herself. “What a waste of good sperm,” she heard Mya say to her back as she walked out of the door with her head held high but her heart racing. It took everything within her to keep from
rushing Mya and clawing her eyes out.

Chapter 24

Sugah got home and crashed. She was beat, yet still on cloud nine from the fashion show.
Everything was amazing, the clothes, the runway, the lights, the cameras, and all the people watching her. Sugah couldn’t stop thinking about the way being the center of attention fed her ego. She wasn’t one of those people who needed acceptance from others, but it felt good to be seen, admired, oohhed and ahhhed over.

Sugah also thought about how everyone got along with her mother. She couldn’t wait until they all got together for brunch tomorrow after church. She thought about what her mother said when she pulled her to the side before she left. How did she know? Her mother never missed anything, and Sugah shouldn’t be surprised, but yet she was. Was it that obvious? Was the chemistry between her and Coffee that noticeab
le? Sugah closed her eyes. She c
ouldn’t get him off her mind. Her mother knew that
he was the one who had her nose and pussy
wide open. “He’s nice looking, Baby”, her mother whispered about Coffee.
“I don’t know what you mean, Mom,” was the only thing Sugah could say. “Sure you don’t,” Charlotte responded laughing at her child. They hugged and kissed each other on the cheeks without saying another word. Sugah smiled. She never got anything passed her mother.

The ringing of the phone captured Sugar’s attention. She glanced over at her clock, wondering who was calling her so late. “Hello,” she answered. The other line was silent until she heard his voice. It wasn’t the “him” she wanted it to be, but she was somewhat happy to hear from Mark.
He was growing more and more on her.
But why was he calling her so late? That was strange. He never called her at night, and certainly but this time of night. A red flag immediately went up.
“What’s up superstar,” he said with laughter in his voice.

“Whatever Mark, we both know that that isn’t true. How are you?” Sugah smiled despite herself. She tried not to be dragged into the hype, but it was hard. She liked all the attention and Mark
wa
s making her feel special, important and she craved those feelings.

“I’m excellent now that I’m hearing your sexy voice. I
just
wanted to call and congratulate you on such an amazing event. Everyone around town is talking about the “new girl” as they refer to you. Sugah, you were awesome tonight!
I couldn’t keep my eyes off of you. And the way you worked that runway just…man…was like amazing.
Wow!!! I didn’t know you had it like that. What are you doing?
And why didn’t you tell me you were a model? Now it all makes sense to me.

“What are you talking about? What all makes sense
to you
now?
You lose me. I don’t know what you mean.

Sugah was getting slightly annoyed with Mark’s comments, but she pushed those feelings away. He meant well, or did he? Suddenly she thought about seeing him with Simone, wondering if he was only pretending to be her friend, instead of being genuine. She listened to Mark before jumping to further conclusions. “What Mark, I’m listening”, Sugah said with a slight attitude. Mark didn’t care.

Chill out girl. I didn’t mean anything by it. I mean I have questions, but now
that
I know h
ow you are able to afford the car, the new clothes and I haven’t heard you stress about money once, like all my other college friends
, I don’t have to wonder
.
You could have just told me. I
wouldn’t have treated you any different.” Sugah didn’t know how to take what Mark said. She didn’t know if she should be offended or find it as a compliment.
Sugah couldn’t help but smile again
, despite her gut telling her to be cautious
. “Oh, I don’t know about all that but thanks anyway. I was just getting ready to shower.
It’s been a long day, and I
…am…ready…to…
relax.
What’s up?”

“Sounds exciting,” Mark said. Sugah didn’t like the way he said those words but remained silent. She didn’t want to push Mark away, considering she knew she would need him to find out inf
ormation about Simone and Mya. “I guess it w
ould be after a long, tiring day.”

Mark sensed the tension in Sugah’s voice and quickly changed the subject. “I didn’t mean to upset you. I just wanted to see if you made it home safely after all the parties you had to attend tonight. I wanted to tell you how happy and proud I am of you. Don’t take what I say to heart. It’s not even like
that with us. You my girl and I wouldn’t want to change that by becoming more than that. Like I said, I was only calling to check in on you. I’ll
l
e
t
you get back to whatever it was that you were doing. I’ll see you in class on Monday. Maybe we can grab a bite to eat or something.
Have a goodnight my friend.
