Jackson shook his head. “I have to tell you that I’m surprised you fell for her so hard. She’s really more like me.”

“She’s smart, beautiful, accomplished, giving, and dove headfirst into our lifestyle. Why wouldn’t I love her?”

“I guess maybe because we didn’t pick her together.”

Derek shrugged. “You had carte blanche to select anyone for us.”

“Well, yeah, for the weekend. Not for the rest of our lives. I woke up that next day, and the initial feeling of dread over the quickie wedding didn’t last long once I spoke to her and got to know her. But I really felt like I’d betrayed our partnership by failing to wait until you at least met her before doing something so permanent. Even drugged to the gills.”

“Do you have memories of that night?” Derek asked.

“No. The only memories I have are of all the video feed cobbled together by Clay. It is very surreal to watch yourself and have no memory of actions you so obviously did.”

“I’m sorry, Jackson. I know you loathe having a loss of control like that. It must be like being mind-fucked to watch that video.”

Jackson shrugged. “The thing that surprises me most is that I have come to not exactly regret it.”

“Really? Why?”

He pointed at the bathroom door. “Because what if we hadn’t ended up together? If we hadn’t gotten married and the hotel personnel hadn’t steered us to my suite, we might not have stayed together. If we hadn’t been drugged, I’m not sure she would have stayed with me.”

“I disagree.”

“Why?”

“Because she told me she saw the DRMC show in Vegas. She liked it. She was also very intrigued by double-penetration sex. She still might have come along with you and experimented with us even if you hadn’t been drugged.” Derek crossed his arms, certain in his assessment.

“Maybe.”

“The purple streaks intrigued you, didn’t they? I know how you are, Jackson. There is not a doubt in my mind that you would have tracked her down like a bloodhound after a fox and introduced yourself for us.”

He shrugged, as if not quite convinced of his prowess with finding women.

Derek tried again. “Why don’t we go in and ask her? We need to check on her anyway.”

Jackson nodded. “Wait. What is our plan to keep her?”

“Not sure yet. I didn’t want to get my hopes up. I was afraid you might feel trapped by the unexpected marriage.”

“We won’t be able to get the annulment before she leaves. So if she won’t stay longer than the end of this week, we set up a time to meet her out East and lure her back.”

“Good plan. Maybe she can be convinced to come back if she misses us too much.”

“Maybe we tell her to stay with us until we find out what her stalker’s plans are. If he goes back East and hangs around her home or work, then her time away didn’t do anything.”

“Fine. But first let’s show her what life would be like here in Colorado.”

“Good idea.”

Derek pushed open the door to the bathroom. “Knock, knock. Are you still above the waterline?”

Alexis lifted her hands up out of the water. “Yes. Barely.”

Jackson crowded him, and they both spilled into the large master bathroom. “Ready for some company?”

“Yes. Thank you for giving me some time to unwind. I’m ready for that back scrub now.”

“Excellent. And perhaps we could join you in the tub.”

“Well, there is certainly enough room.”

Jackson and Derek shed their clothing quickly and joined her in the tub. Derek slid in behind her and started massaging her shoulders before settling into the water. Jackson draped her legs over his thighs and rubbed her small feet one at a time.

After about ten minutes, she said, “Okay, you’re both hired.”

Derek slid his hands from her shoulders, down her arms, across her belly and to the prize between her legs. He stroked her clit. She wiggled against him. Given that she still had bruises on her face and a split lip, Derek obviously didn’t plan to have sex with her. But he certainly intended to help relax her further.

Jackson bent over and sucked her nipples as Derek slowly stroked her clit. She writhed and moaned against him. The sexy sounds she made each time he rubbed her clit warmed his soul. He wanted to keep her safe and happy.

She suddenly stiffened and cried out in what sounded like pleasure. He would never get tired of hearing her come.

Derek kissed the top of her head and thought about how they could easily keep her forever.

* * * *

Alexis relaxed back into Derek’s strong arms after a sweet, lovely climax. Jackson played with her nipples until the final wave of pleasure rode through her. He then settled back against the tub and held her hand.

Derek had already whispered that they weren’t going to have sex with her. She loved them, and the spirit was willing, but her body hurt absolutely everywhere.

The warm bath had helped to ease most of the pain out of her muscles, and now with an orgasm relaxing her limbs, and two hot husbands attending her, life just didn’t get much better.

Alexis planned to spend her time here discovering what it would be like to chuck her career and settle down with two husbands. She was not quite as convinced as they were that it was a good idea.

Tomorrow she planned to call and extend her vacation for another few days so she’d have a full week here with them.

A week should be plenty of time to discover if this luxury life was even a possibility.

The hard truth was, she didn’t miss her job like she thought she would. If she were there, she’d likely be on the road somewhere, staying in much less luxurious hotels along the eastern seaboard. What might it be like to give up her vagabond existence and settle down with two amazing men?

There was something to be said for home and hearth, especially Jackson and Derek’s home and hearth. Their house was huge and beautiful, and had spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains from almost every window.

After the water cooled, they dried her off, carried her into the spacious bedroom, and tucked her into a huge, custom-made, king-sized bed.

Alexis said good night and promptly dropped into the deepest sleep of her life. She didn’t dream. She didn’t stir. She didn’t even wake once during the night.

She did, however, rouse the next morning feeling like her old self again.

The bruises on her cheek hadn’t faded as of yet, but her split lip was much better. She’d be healed in no time.

There was a note on her pillow that Jackson and Derek had left to attend a business meeting. And that they’d left a Russian nanny behind to take care of her if she needed help.
Russian nanny?

They’d hung up all her clothes, and her carry-on suitcase resided in the immense closet all by its lonesome like the last kid waiting to be picked for dodgeball. Her purse and prepaid cell phone that Jackson had gotten her while they were in Vegas rested on the nightstand next to the bed. Her company cell phone was still in her dresser back in her apartment.

She freshened up, got dressed, and went to find the Russian nanny, or discover if they were just joking. She thought she heard something from the direction of the kitchen.

“Hello,” Alexis called out. She looked over the stair railing into the large living area below as she descended to the first floor.

“Hello,” an accented voice called back from the front of the house.

Alexis came down the last few steps and saw a young, beautiful, blonde woman exiting the kitchen, wiping her hands with a towel. Even with her hair pulled back from her face, she looked like a fashion model.

“I am Valentina,” she said formally, and approached. She stuck out her hand.

Alexis shook her hand, feeling the strength in her clasp.

“How do you feel?” she asked in that lovely, accented voice.

“Good. Better. Thanks.” Alexis didn’t want to ask her if she was the Russian nanny, but Valentina saw the paper in her hand from Jackson and Derek.

“What did the note say about me?”

Alexis smiled. “Uhm...that you are my Russian nanny.”

She rolled her eyes, shook her head with a slight smile, and rattled off something quickly in Russian under her breath. “I made food for you. Come and eat.” She pointed to the kitchen.

“Great. I’m starving.” Alexis followed Valentina to the vast kitchen. They’d gone straight to the bedroom last night and she’d missed a tour of the house. Seemingly miles of gray granite and cherry-finish cabinets stretched everywhere. There was a large island in the center with a sink, and every appliance down to the coffee maker was stainless steel.

“Derek and Jackson have a very nice kitchen.” Valentina stirred a large pot of something steaming and delicious smelling on the stove.

“I’ll say.” Alexis didn’t cook much, but she had spent years with her mother who did. Her mother had made sure she knew the basics in case she ever changed her mind and got married.

“How do you know Jackson and Derek?” Alexis asked.

“They are good friends of my two husbands, Dillon and Wyatt. We live very close.”

“Dillon? Is he a doctor? I think I met him when I was in Las Vegas.”

“Yes.” Valentina nodded. “He told me you were drugged...and other things.”

Alexis nodded. “I guess the whole world saw me and Jackson in the fountain.”

Valentina smiled and nodded. “Yes. I saw the video on the Internet. It was very surprising to see him so...animated. He is obviously in love with you.”

Alexis felt heat rise in her cheeks. “Perhaps, but he was under the influence of drugs in the video. I’m not sure it’s enough to lose my career.”

“What career do you have?”

“I’m a pharmaceutical representative for a company in North Carolina.”

Valentina’s eyes widened. “Interesting. I work for a pharmaceutical company, as well.”

“Here in Colorado?”

“Yes. I like it very much.”

“Do you travel a lot?”

Valentina shook her head. “No. I work in the laboratory. However, if you decide to stay, there is a job opening available. There is no travel with this job, though.”

“I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks.” Did she need to travel to be happy? Maybe not.

“You are welcome.” Valentina turned back to the stove and soon ladled something into two bowls.

After a very hearty meal of stew courtesy of Valentina, Alexis went to call her employer to extend her vacation.

She decided to call a coworker first to discover if anyone had even missed her being gone.

“This is Jenna. How may I help you?”

“Hey, it’s Alexis. Have you missed me?”

“Oh my God in heaven, Alexis!” Jenna was easily excitable, but Alexis hadn’t expected her to be quite so exuberant.

“What’s going on?”

Suddenly Jenna’s voice went very quiet. “The proverbial shit is hitting the fan.”

“What? Why?”

“That video of you and that delicious-looking man in a Las Vegas fountain has the upper brass freaking out.”
