It could not be found anywhere. This made no sense. There
had been no cleaning crew in. The room service dishes were stacked inside, not
out. Nothing but Palmer left the room.

“Do you think Jonathan took it?” asked Caitlin.

“Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt, I guess,” said
Jennifer who kept looking.

She wondered if the fact that the piece of paper that
reflected Palmer Ideas’ promise to employ, went missing was Palmer’s way of
going back on his word. She sat on the bed and dialed.

“What are you doing?” asked Caitlin.

“I am calling him. I just want to hear it from him that he
doesn’t know where the paper is,” said Jennifer.

But Palmer didn’t answer.

Chapter Five

Caitlin more than Jennifer was bummed out that Palmer didn’t
answer the telephone or return their contacts for days. They had to make a
collective decision to just not call him.

“I think we were screwed. Literally,” said Caitlin.

“Okay then,” said Jennifer. “We still need to find work. We
aren’t having luck in our field. Shall we just go for anything? Like waiting
tables or tending bar?”

“That actually might be kind of fun. For the summer. Keep
looking in the meantime,” said Caitlin.

They thought it was hilarious that they landed employment
with a restaurant chain that had them wearing teen shorts and Lycra T-shirts. They
started immediately. Weeks went by since their stint with Jonathan Palmer.

The twins worked hard but the charm of the job wore off
fast. They were looking forward to the close of a shift. They were going to go
home and rethink their summer plans. The manager approached them with the news
that a large party had just come in. The restaurant needed Caitlin and Jennifer
to wait on the party. Caitlin cursed through gritted teeth.

“This is not happening,” she said.

“It’s money,” reminded Jennifer. “When this is over, we’ll
go somewhere and I’ll buy you a drink.”

As she and Caitlin helped the hostess push together tables
for the large party, Jennifer spied reflections in the restaurant windows. Those
looked like employees from Palmer Ideas. Now she was with her sister. She was
livid. That was if Jonathan Palmer was among the guests. Otherwise, she
conceded. She had nothing against these people.

Finally, the tables were ready for the last minute guests. Jennifer,
Caitlin and the hostess passed out menus. Jennifer broke out her notepad and
pen to take orders, when in waltzed Jonathan Palmer. She was so so cold.

Their eyes met. Caitlin joined in. The three of them stood
mutely and connected in a way that only the three of them knew about. What was
so infuriating was that Jennifer and Caitlin had to be polite.

“Thanks for taking us so late,” said Palmer. “We’re
celebrating.”

“Congratulations,” Jennifer said, cutting him off. “Shall we
start with drinks?”

The service of the party was by the book. Neither Caitlin
nor Jennifer made an error or let their anger towards Jonathan Palmer interfere
with their professionalism. Even on this level. They connected in the kitchen
and decided together to take the upper road.

When dinner done and the bill paid, the party complimented
them directly and to their manager. But as they were clearing the table,
neither Jennifer nor Caitlin could find the tip. It wasn’t on the credit card
slip and it wasn’t left on the table. They asked their manager. He was at a
loss. No one gave him a tip either.

That was it. Jennifer stormed out in the parking lot hoping
to find just one person from the party. She was going to tell all. Tell them
how their boss spent several kinky hours in a hotel room with her sister and
her. How he was into spanking. She was going to tell all.

As images of those hours with Jonathan Palmer rummaged
through her head, she was nearly immobilized with passion. She had turned
herself on with recalling the erotic session. When she shook herself from her
daze she saw, leaning on the end of his car cool as could be, Jonathan Palmer. Jennifer
charged him, raised a hand to slap him. He caught it mid swing, drew her to him
and kissed her hard.

He didn’t even try to hide it. Jennifer’s body lilted up
against his. Palmer glided his powerful hands down the length of her spin to
grip her buttocks. He kissed her lazily, sweeping his wet hot tongue deep
inside her mouth. The touch of his tongue went straight to her core. She was
aching and wet for him. But she was struck with anger towards herself for
letting him taste her when he had broken their deal. She pulled back.

“Hey,” she scowled. “You took the contract. You just ripped
us off on the tip.”

He looked at her with that hungry, hot, dominant glint. “I
had to be sure.”

“Sure of what?” she replied suspiciously.

“That if I pissed you off enough you wouldn’t go blab about
what happened between us,” he said.

Jennifer blinked. She was shocked. That was it?

“So then you’ll honor our deal? Why would you if you had to
prove you could trust us instead of just trusting us,” she argued.

“Take it or leave it,” he replied sternly. “Let’s face it,
you didn’t trust me either.”

“You broke our deal,” she challenged. By this time Caitlin
joined them in the parking lot,

“Did I?” he asked her.

She laughed. “Of course you did. You took our contract and
you wouldn’t answer our calls. You didn’t follow through on your word.”

“I said I would hire you. I didn’t say when. Technically I
haven’t broken my word. Maybe someone needs to teach you a lesson in patience.”
His voice was low and scolding.

“Whatever,” she replied, feeling a little foolish, though
she wasn’t completely buying it.

“We were just celebrating absorbing a small marketing firm. You
may be familiar with them. I brought the team here on purpose because I believe
in one of your rambling voicemails you mentioned you were reduced to working
here,” he said.

Jennifer and Caitlin continued to listen.

“And I announced to everyone that I wanted to hire you two. I
showed them your portfolios. I had the guys from the company we acquired
testify as to why they wanted to hire you. My people had to see for
themselves,” he said.

“And what did you say to them? Look how cool they are when I
don’t tip them?” scoffed Jennifer.

Palmer shook his head and smiled. “I think someone wants a
spanking. What do you think Caitlin?”

“I think I want the job you promised. Save the games for the
bedroom,” she answered.

Jennifer raised her eyebrow. “We have side work. We need to
go back into the restaurant now.”

Palmer pulled out his wall. He handed a bill to each of the
sisters. One hundred dollars to Caitlin and to Jennifer.

“You can start any time,” he said. “I know it was fun and
games to both of you. It was to me as well. But it also kind of meant something
to me. I would like to see you two again.”

“What happens when or if we start work?” Jennifer asked. “Are
you going to be saying things like that?”

Palmer cut his eyes at her. “Good night ladies.”

Jennifer looked at Caitlin whose look said she was feeling
the same way too.

“Jonathan wait,” said Jennifer. “What are you doing tonight?
We can be done with here in an hour. Can we come over?”

“I would love nothing better but I am a little tired. Do
what you’ve got to do for this employer. Come with me to Palmer Ideas or not. Let
me know. Either way please keep in touch. Oh and girls,” he paused. He looked
them up and down. “Nice uniforms.”

Jonathan Palmer got in his sweet little vintage Jaguar and
drove away. Jennifer and Caitlin finished up their shift. They went back to
their apartment, discussing the pros and cons. They could actually support
themselves for now on the restaurant job.

“We could start our own business,” said Caitlin

“Crossed my mind too. If we go to work for Jonathan, we
can’t fool around with him,” said Jennifer.

“I miss him,” admitted Caitlin.

“So do I,” said Jennifer.

She did. Thinking about him now, especially that she knew
that he was just testing them, Jennifer ached for him. Craved him. It was kind
of a ridiculous position to be in. She couldn’t have a relationship with a man
and share him with her sister? She wanted him too.

The twins showered and crashed. They were exhausted from
work and from hashing out the possibilities of their future.

Their next shift at the restaurant didn’t start until four
p.m. Even though they had just gone to bed, they woke briefly just after
sunrise to see that it was indeed a beautiful day.

“Hey,” Jennifer nudged Caitlin, for they had shared
Jennifer’s double bed. “Let’s go down to the pool. We can sleep there.”

Caitlin grumbled. She woke slowly. Jennifer forced herself
to wake up and change into her bathing suit.

“Come down. I am heading out.” said Jennifer.

She gathered up her smallest bathing suit and went into the
bathroom. She brought her cell phone in. Even though she shared everything with
her sister, she flipped on the fan for privacy. She propped up her cell phone,
set it on a timer and posed in her bikini.

She bent over and grabbed her ankles. The pose flexed her
glutes in the most spectacular way. The backs of her legs were taut and smooth.
They met the dip formed by the curves of her buttocks as they rose from her
thighs. Her sweet pink lips were showcased by the muscled, curvaceous cheeks. It
was a great shot. She sent it to Palmer.

Next, she oiled up her legs and around her bikini line. She
videotaped herself shaving. She sent that to him as well. She dressed, slipped
some shorts over her bathing suit, packed up some fruit and water and went to
the pool.

On purpose she left her phone in the apartment. But not
before texting Caitlin who had been asleep really when she talked to her, about
where she was. If Palmer replied, she was going to ignore it. She was glad he
had always intended to hire them but Jennifer felt like playing a game back at
him.

Jennifer jumped into the pool water. It was refreshing and
relaxing. She laid herself out on a chaise. She fed herself iced cold water
melon and sipped water. The sugar in the fruit helped her nestle down into a nap.
She had only had a few hours of sleep and the little bit of activity, made her
sleepy. She dozed.

A big giant cloud blocking the sun woke her after she had
hit a deep and sound slumber. Jennifer awoke thinking she was about to be the
victim of a thundershower. She sat up and saw the tall and delicious Jonathan
Palmer was the culprit causing the shadow.

“Good afternoon,” he said with a smile in his voice.

His thick sandy hair was disheveled. He wore chrome mirrored
sunglasses, loosely buttoned cotton shirt and faded shorts. Jennifer thought he
was beautiful.

“Hi,” she said groggily.

Caitlin was reclined on the lawn chair next to her. She was
in her bikini and oiled up for sun bathing.

“Is this yours?” he lectured her gently.

He showed her own picture on his cell phone. She nodded.

“Sure looks like me,” she grinned.

“Is that the way you answer my questions?” he asked in a
pretend stern voice.

“Oh yeah,” she replied deliberately being disrespectful. “I
mean yes sir, they are me.”

He eyed her like she had crossed a line. Like he was going
to punish her.

“Where’s your bathing suit?” Jennifer asked him. “Sir.”

“Roll over on your stomach please. You need sunscreen,” he
said.

Jennifer rolled over and submitted. Palmer untied the back
of her top so that if she lifted up she would be naked from the hips up. He
spilled the contents of the sun-heated bottle onto the middle of her back. He
worked it in tenderly but firmly into her muscles.

“You’re good at that,” she murmured.

He had an amazing touch of massage. He turned to tend to
Caitlin. Jennifer watched as Palmer touched her sister. She suspected that they
had been together before they came down to the pool.

“Does that feel good?” he asked Caitlin.

Caitlin sleepily nodded. Palmer’s hands glided all over her.
His fingers disappeared in between her legs. Jennifer’s sister’s spine arched
in delight of the sensation he gave her. He turned his gaze at Jennifer as he
felt up Caitlin.

Jennifer thought he was so wicked in a delicious way. Just
one look at him and she was entranced. She was hot. She was hungry. He must
have known it. He leaned over to her and kissed her hungrily.

“Can we please go upstairs?” she whispered.

“You guys go,” mumbled Caitlin.

Palmer took Jennifer by the hand. They walked across the
surround pool area into the bottom floor of the apartment building. As they
passed the laundry room, he whisked her inside of it and closed the door. He
leaned her over his knee and spanked her with three hard-enough swats.

He lifted her upright, supported her while she got her
footing. The surprise and the touch of pain was exhilarating. She staggered
with drunken arousal.

“You okay?” he asked.

“Yeah,” she said. “I need you now. Here.”

Palmer looked her in the eye as she craved him. “No,” he
said. “Not now. But soon.” He walked her back out to the pool. He kissed them
each on their heads and walked to his car. Jennifer was incensed. She scurried
after him.

“What the -?” she demanded.

He turned on his heel. He raised an eyebrow. He had a grin
on his face but he warned her. “Better watch how you talk to me,” he said,
fisting her hair. He kissed her.

“Why did you come over here if you were going to tease me?”
she asked.

He took a deep breath. “Sort of the same thing you did to me
with those pictures. I was at the gym. You completely ruined my work out. Now
you have to suffer the consequences.”

“Well so do you,” she answered, folding her arms across her
chest defiantly.

“Yes and now,” he said. “Remember there are two of you.”

His words hurt. He saw that.

“Hey,” he said, raising her chin with his finger. “It’s just
a game. I like you a lot. But we have to stop once it hurts in a way it’s not
meant to. Clear?”

“I am fine,” she said.

“I’ll say,” he winked. “Take your medicine. Look forward to
seeing you again.”

“So no more pictures?” she asked confusedly.

“Oh my God yes. You are an artist,” he said.

Finally, Palmer got in his car and was gone.
