Chapter 3

Dinner consisted of steak, potatoes, grilled asparagus, and fruit salad. They all ate happily while Eric’s father and Luke caught up.

“So how’s the girlfriend doing?” the father said inquisitively.

“She’s doing great. Mom and Laura have lunch about once a week too.”

“That’s good. The women need to stick together. They find empowerment that way.” He cleared his throat. “Is she taking good care of you?”

Luke chucked. “Excellent care of me. She makes sure I eat and stay on top of my laundry and brings me food. She loves to cook and bake.”

“She still needs to give me her recipe for pumpkin bread!” his mother chimed in. “She brought me some the other day and it was heavenly!”

“She should make you her chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. They’re my favorite!”

“To be fair, you’ve always liked chocolate chip oatmeal cookies,” Eric protested.
“Laura’s are the best I’ve ever had, though. Soft and gooey but nice and crisp on the ends. Exactly how I like them!”

“That is pretty impressive if they are your favorite. Maybe you should bring us some sometime.”

“I’m sure she would love to make you all your favorite treats. She really does love baking.

“Oh goody! Have her make me some brownies!” Brownies were the father’s weakness. He always had like Laura, but felt she was sometimes a little ditzy at times. Luke had admitted before that she definitely had her moments, but despite that, she was the best girlfriend he’s ever had.

“Do you think, since you said she would probably bake us all something, she could make almond poppy seed bread?” Eric asked timidly.

“I don’t see why not. She’d probably love to.” Luke took a large bite of potatoes. Laura may make his favorite cookie, but he loved his mom’s homemade mashed potatoes. Laura couldn’t even make better for Luke’s taste buds.

Chapter 4

Laura had spent the day alone, enjoying her quiet time. Between Luke and her sorority, she hardly had any time to herself. But today she had just a few errands to run without anyone else, and she desperately needed a manicure and pedicure. She was training for a zombie-themed run with two of her sorority sisters and her feet were beginning to kill her. Her hands were calloused from her culinary classes; who knew wielding knives and breaking down animal carcasses all day could cause so much damage and strain to her hands? In all her life, baking never did that to her.

Her errands went by quickly. She needed to buy large paper for banners for the sorority house, glitter and paint for the letters, and new scissors. Surprisingly, the nearby office store had everything except the glitter. They could go without it, but it was what the sisters wanted. She had to go to a few more stores until she finally found it at a party store. After that adventure, she felt she was definitely ready for the nail salon.

As she sat in the massaging chair, one lady scrubbed her feet with a sugar scrub while another rubbed her hands with almond oil. The scents emitting from the oil was relaxing to her; she never was a fan of lavender for relaxing. While there, she contemplated baking more cookies, this time for the sorority girls. She would have to make over one hundred cookies, though; the sisters could eat a lot when they weren’t counting calories. She decided against the idea and instead decided to take a nap when she got home. Today she was going to do what she wanted to do for herself, not anyone else.

After the nail salon, she went to a sushi bar and ordered two rolls to eat by herself for lunch, finished her meal with green tea ice cream, and then went home for her nap. She slept peacefully for the remainder of the day.

**********

It was dark by the time Luke got home. He originally wanted to surprise Laura in her room, but since it was past nine, he decided against it, since the sisters had strict rules about guys coming to visit after that hour. Instead, he went to his own room. Just as he sat down at his computer desk, he received a text. “Hey, you home yet? I just woke up, but I haven’t gotten a text from you yet.” It was from her.

“Yeah, I just got in. I’m not planning on sleeping soon. Did you want to come over?” he typed back. He put down his phone and began browsing the web. In a minute, his phone beeped again with a new message.

“Sure. Let me shower first then I’ll be over,” the text read.

He decided he needed to shower too since he hadn’t since he and Eric had sex and he hadn’t really properly cleaned up. “Okay, I want to shower too. I’ll see you soon.”

Luckily at this hour, the showers were clear, so he was able to get in very quickly. He washed his body but gave extra care to his butt and its hole. Most of the semen was out by now, but washing it helped get rid of the remaining taint. He let the droplets roll off of him as he stood there in the silence, not thinking about anything in particular, allowing the water to pound his back.

He decided he didn’t want sex again tonight, so to reduce the temptation he enclosed one hand on his lengthy cock and began stroking it up and down the shaft while he used his other hand to steady him on the wall. The wetness from the shower lubricated it well, so his hand easily slid over it. He moaned in unison with every tug, gaining momentum. He was jerking off fast until he ultimately came all over his hand and the floor.

He rinsed off thoroughly then dried off. He wrapped a towel around his waist and went to the mirror. He examined his face, concluded he needed to shave tomorrow and went to put on his clothes. He had gone from gray sweatpants to red and black plaid pajama pants, keeping today an overall comfortable day. He brushed his teeth and then went back to his dorm room.

He headed back to his dorm room, wearing only pajama pants and his towel around his neck. Half way through the hallway, he heard a “Hey! Over here!” and looked to see his girlfriend standing there, wearing blue pajama pants and a black camisole. She ran up to him, threw her arms around his neck, and gave him a kiss on the cheek. When she released him, she asked, “So how was your day today?”

“It was good. We didn’t go golfing though. We went back to the house and played video games.”

“Typical. Let me guess, fighting games?”

“Yes, but to be fair we haven’t played any of those in a long while.”

“Sure, you haven’t,” she teased.

“My mom also wants the recipe to something you made her the other day. What was it?”

“Oh, the pumpkin bread? Sure thing! I’m glad she enjoyed it so much!”

“Yeah, that.”

“I would have you to tell her that I’ll write down the recipe after finals, but I know I’ll probably see her before you do.”

“Yup, you’re basically right. Although I am going to try to make an effort to go visit more.”

“Good, because she misses you.”

“I know.” They made it to his dorm room and he opened the door open for her. “After you, my lady.” She walked in and went to go sit on the bed.

“Gary is gone again?” she asked inquisitively. Gary was the guy Luke shared a room with, but Gary was never around. His girlfriend lived off campus in an apartment so he stayed with her most of the time. She was 21 so she often had alcohol around, whereas he was only 20 so he couldn’t legally get it. In a few ways, it seemed to be a relationship of convenience to Luke- Gary had a place to stay off campus and get booze, whereas his girlfriend wasn’t alone, not to mention the sex that was easy to get. It worked out well it seemed.

Luke and Laura were the same age, both 20, but loved and cared for each other deeply. They had known each other since they were eight years old and had been together since they were seventeen. Their families even loved that they were together. They even had their fights, but they had never considered breaking up before. That was why the secret between Eric and Luke desperately needed to stay a secret.

“Yeah, he’s rarely here. Only when him and whatshername fight.”

“I think her name is Jill.”

“And she’s not important enough for me to remember.” He kissed her mouth slowly. “What did you want to do tonight?”

“Oh, I figure we can just talk or watch a movie. I just hadn’t seen you all day and I probably wasn’t going to sleep since I slept all evening.”

“Why did you sleep all evening?”

“I just wanted to take a nap. That’s all.” She looked at him innocently.

“Alright then. Well, what kind of movie did you want to watch?”

“I figure I would let you choose. You always let me pick the movies. I’m in a very ‘go with the flow’ mood right now. Up for anything! So it’s your pick.”

“We could go for a drive then. I’m not really that tired right now either and not sure I want to see a movie.”

“Okay, and if you do start getting sleepy, I can always take over the wheel.”

“Yeah, let me put on a shirt and we can go.” He liked being shirtless, but seatbelts were very uncomfortable with no shirt. He threw on a white cotton shirt and grabbed his keys. “Let’s go.” She hopped up from the bed and followed him out of the room, out of the building, and to his car. He opened the passenger side for her and she got in, and then he went around and going into the driver’s seat. Then they took off.

There were no other cars on the road, so he could go anywhere without the worry of annoying traffic. He decided to start driving up towards the mountains. It was quiet and peaceful there, and since the mountains were populated with people, there were a lot of safe places to go where animals wouldn’t bother them.

They found a deserted cliff that out looked the city. “Is this…?” Her voice trailed off, realizing the location, as they got out of the car.

“Yes, it’s where we first kissed.” He hugged her from behind and kissed her ear.

“Why did you bring me here though, of all places?”

“Just because. I figured it would be peaceful here and a nice place to sit and talk. Besides, it’s been awhile since we’ve come here.”

“True.” She rested her head on his shoulder. “Thanks. I always love coming here. The view is incredible.”

She broke away from him and took a few steps forward, feeling around to make sure she didn’t trip on anything. She was heading to the log that was left on its side for people to sit on. He took her hand and followed, stabling her if she lost her footing on some leaves. They got to the log and sat down next to each other. He put his arms around her and held her close, keeping her warm. “So I’ve been thinking…”

“About? Good or bad?”

“I don’t know. About us, though. It’s about how you don’t go see your mom that often. When we have a family of our own, will you become distant from us, too, after awhile?”

“No, of course not. I’m not distant from my parents on purpose. I am just busy with you and school. I also try to spend time with Eric to keep him socializing and getting out of the house. You know me, I just stay busy. My degree is taking a lot out of me, too.”

“I guess so. You sure it’s not the college life changing you?”

“Promise. It’s just how much time I have to put into my classes. You’ve hung out with me plenty of times where you had to deal with me working on projects, or homework, or something else regarding school. I feel bad because I’m sure it bores you. I’m invited to parties all the time but never go because I don’t have time. I just go to your sorority parties when I can go, and even that’s been rare lately.”

“It’s okay.” She lifted his arm and kissed it. “As long as you’re bettering yourself. But if it interferes too much with our future family, I’ll be upset.” She huffed. “I’m not even happy about how you don’t see your mom more often as is.”

“I promise I’ll go visit her more often. Maybe I’ll bring my laundry and do it over there instead of doing it on campus.”

“Don’t you dare make your mother wash your laundry!”

“I wouldn’t. Although, she probably would do it if it meant me coming over more.” He kissed the top of her head. “But I won’t, don’t worry.”

“Good, because I would find out if you did.”

“And then I would never hear the end of it from you. I know you, and you side with my mother entirely too often in matters with me.”

“We just want what’s best for you, but to be fair, we think you’re doing pretty well on your own. So you’re fine, for the most part.”

“What do I need to work in, then?”

“Eating habits. More water. Visit family. That sort of stuff.”

“My eating habits get better when you’re around.”

“Yeah, but you want cookies with almost every meal!”

“It’s not my fault your cookies are so delicious! You could just stop making them for me, ya know?”

“But I enjoy baking and would feel bad if I just stopped.” She giggled. “You might go through withdraws, too. I can’t have that blamed on me!”

They continued talking about nothing in particular throughout the night until they started to get sleepy. When they decided to go home, he drove and they both slept in his dorm room, happily snuggled up to keep warm.
