“Baby, we want to take care of you. We especially want to take care of you more than anything now,” Tyler said with a huge smile.

“What’s going on? What did Dr. Monroe say today?” Jenna was feeling sick to her stomach again. She had already had a trip to the bathroom where she couldn’t hold down her breakfast she had earlier today.

Nick looked at her with a smile on his face as equally enthusiastic as Tyler’s.

“Honey, were you aware that when taking your birth control pills together with the antibiotics, they counteract each other? The birth control pills are ineffective when taking antibiotics.”

“What the heck are you talking about?” Jenna looked at them in confusion.

“Baby, Dr. Monroe told us you’re pregnant. You’re going to have a baby, our baby, Jenna.”

Jenna felt herself crumble to the ground before Tyler picked her up and sat her on the couch. “Pregnant? But I was told I couldn’t get pregnant.”

“Honey, you told us you never went in for any of the tests they wanted you to do. And you said you and Jeff never tried again to get pregnant. You just never gave your body a chance,” Nick said with love in his voice.

“I’m sorry I ran out on you both. I love you so much. That was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Please forgive me?” She looked at them with tears in her eyes.

“We love you, too, baby. We came to bring you and our child home with us.”

Nick looked into Jenna’s eyes and said, “I love you, Jenna. We always knew one day you would come home and it would be worth the wait.”
