“Enough. Let me out of these,” she whispered.

“Uh-uh.”

“Please. I want to touch you. I want you inside me.”

Two fingers spread her juices down to the crack of her ass and she jerked. “As enticing as that sounds, we do this my way.” One finger found the ring of muscles and she clutched her cheeks together to forestall his apparent path. “Ever had a man here before, Liss?”

Only in my dreams.

“No.”

“Soon, baby.” Two fingers slipped inside her ass and her eyes rolled back into her head.

His wet tongue licked from vagina to clit until he toggled the hard nub and fucked her ass with his fingers. Her toes started to tingle as her climax built. God, she wanted to come.

“Not yet.” The mouth and fingers disappeared and she almost screamed in frustration. “Close your eyes.”

Not knowing what else to do, she did as he instructed.

“Just feel, baby.”

His lips wandered across her nipple, making it stand up and beg for his mouth.

“So responsive.” The rough pad of his tongue rasped over the sensitive peak and she arched toward him. The hum of her vibrator reached her ears just before he slipped it across her clit.

Her pussy quivered and filled with a need so strong, she couldn’t stand it anymore.

“Come for me.”

Stars burst behind her eyelids at his command and her whole body lifted toward the sensations he caused as she moaned and whimpered before her climax exploded through her.

“That’s it, sweetheart.”

After several moments, she realized he’d stripped off his clothes and she could feel the coarse hair on his chest as it rubbed against her sensitive nipples. His cock bumped against her pussy and she wiggled her butt, trying to get closer.

“Do you want this?” He pushed slightly inside her and she moaned softly. “God, you are so hot. You burn me with your heat.”

More. More.

“Drew, please. Fuck me. Fuck me hard.”

With a growl that sounded more like a wounded animal than human, he pushed inside her and she swore he must have touched her heart.

Unable to wrap her legs around his hips, she could do nothing more than feel. His pelvis crashed against hers. His cock filled her to the brim until she felt another climax boiling below the surface. Her vaginal walls clamped down on his cock and he groaned.

“That’s it, baby. Milk it. Aw fuck! You feel so good.” He rode her hard for several minutes before he said, “Come with me, Liss. Ride the wave with me.”

His mouth dove for hers and swallowed her cry of satisfaction as he moaned with her and she felt the spasms of his own climax.

* * * *

Her head lay cradled in the crook of his shoulder as she threaded her fingers through the hair on his chest.

“You never told me how or why you came over here that first day.”

He sighed and sat up, forcing her to let him go. “I can’t, Liss.”

“Why? This isn’t right, Drew. How can you make love to me like you have and ignore the secrecy between us?”

The phone rang on the bedside table. Trapping the sheet over her breasts, she tucked the end underneath her arm and reached over to grab it after the second ring.

“Hello?” With a sharp inhalation she said, “Security breach? What the hell are you talking about?”

He could hear murmurs on the other end of the line and unfortunately, he was sure he knew what had been said.

“I’ll be right there.” She hung up the phone and reached for her clothes.

“What’s wrong?”

“There’s been a security breach at the office. I need to go see what’s going on.”

Grabbing his jeans from the floor, he stood and slipped them over his hips before he buttoned them and reached for his t-shirt. “I should get going anyway.”

A moment later, she stood in front of him, her palm flat against his chest. “We need to talk, but it seems every time we do, we get interrupted.”

He grasped her wrist and kissed her palm. “I know.”

“Come over tomorrow and we’ll talk. Okay?”

“I can’t tell you anymore than I already have.”

Frown lines appeared between her eyebrows and she chewed her lip a moment before she said, “You’d better figure out how because I’m not taking no for an answer again. There’s something going on here and I intend to find out what.”

One eyebrow rose at her demanding tone, but after a flash of defiance, she dropped her gaze until he put his finger her under chin and forced her to look at him again. “Such obstinate behavior will get you five more swats.” His hand skimmed across her ass cheek where he’d spanked her earlier and she sucked in a startled breath. “Of course, since you seem to enjoy it so much, I’m sure you won’t mind.” Wrapping his hand in her hair, he tipped her head back and her lips parted on a gasp before he swooped down and slanted his mouth over hers in a demanding kiss. After a few moments, she returned the kiss with so much fire, he fought to control his desire to take her back to the bed and to hell with the shit that was about to hit the fan.

When he finally lifted his head, he kissed her nose and stepped back. “Go deal with your issue and I’ll see you tomorrow,” he said even though he knew when she found out what he’d done, she’d probably never talk to him again.

Chapter Five

“You fucking bastard,” she yelled when she opened the door. “What did you do, Drew? How did you breach the security in the elevator so that someone could get into the offices after hours? Only a select few have the key to it, but you managed to get a copy or something, didn’t you?”

“Lissa.”

“Don’t Lissa me, you son of a bitch!” Her hand came up so quickly, he didn’t have time to react as she slapped him hard across the cheek. Before she could slap him again, he grabbed her wrist, pulled her against his chest and pinned her hand behind her. The other one came up and he anchored that one as well.

“I didn’t have a choice, Melissa. They were going to kill my sister.”

Her startled gasp echoed loudly in the foyer. “Kill her?” she whispered, her breath caressing his lips and he fought the urge to kiss her senseless.

“Yes, kill her.” In a silent battle of wills, they stared each other down for several moments before he said, “Will you let me explain and not here in the doorway?”

“Now you want to explain?”

“Do I have a choice now?”

She shook her head and he released her before he followed her into the living room. He took a seat on the couch and he noticed how she moved to the other side of the room like she was afraid to be too close.

A sigh escaped his lips and he raked his fingers through his hair.

This isn’t going to be easy. She’ll never trust me again.

“My sister Caroline got involved in an affair with a guy. He’s the son of the owner of Cockrill Enterprises.”

Her eyes widened in shock. “Jonathan Cockrill?”

“Yes.”

“He’s a bastard and ruthless to boot.”

“Not as ruthless as his old man.”

She rubbed her arms and crossed them under her breasts. “What’s this got to do with me?”

“They want Marshall.”

“They want my company?”

“Not necessarily your company, Liss. They want to take it down.”

“Well they can’t have it. Bastards!”

“They don’t care who they hurt in the process. You, me or Caroline.”

“Explain.”

He stood and began to pace, running his fingers through his hair. “Caroline is married.”

“Damn.”

“Yeah. She and Matthew are having problems. They have been for some time. She met Jonathan when she went out of town for a convention about six months ago. They started a pretty wild affair but when she went to break it off, Jonathan threatened to tell Matt if she didn’t keep seeing him. When his old man found out about it, they pinned Caroline and told her they would kill her if she didn’t help them take down Marshall Enterprises.”

“I don’t understand. What connection does your sister have with Marshall?”

“Caroline Vincent is my sister.”

“You’ve got to be kidding me.”

“No.”

“She’s my CFO.”

“I know.”

“Shit, Drew. This is like something out of a bad movie. Corporate espionage?”

“Yeah.”

“How do you fit into all this besides being Caroline’s brother? Where do I fit into this?”

“You were the means to the end. I found out about Mandy’s surprise for you from listening to Brad’s conversation with her. I already told you that. I figured if I could get your key to the elevator and make a copy, they would have access to the offices without anyone knowing. I don’t know what they took or what they did. All I had to do was get your key.”

“They tried to tap into our current projects that we were working on. Buyouts of smaller companies, but luckily my IT guys are on top of it and when they tried to access the computers, it locked them out.”

The tight knot in his stomach released slightly before it clenched again.
They didn’t get what they wanted. Now what will they do?
“Fuck.”

“Yeah.” She rubbed her arms before she said, “Maybe Caroline just need to tell her husband what she’s done and get it out into the open. If they don’t have anything to blackmail her with, then they’ll have to figure out some other way. You’ll be off the hook.”

“If it were only that easy.”

“It is that easy, Drew. Now that I know what they are trying to do, I can stop them through my own channels. I have connections, too. Connections they don’t know about.” A moment later, she grabbed the phone off the counter and held it out to him. “Call her. Call her now. I want to talk to her.”

Trepidation rolled down his back.
Could it be that easy to walk away from all this?
“Let me use my cell. She probably wouldn’t answer if it showed your number on her caller ID.”

“True.”

Fishing the cell from his pocket, he flipped open the phone, scrolled through the numbers until he found Caroline’s and hit talk.

“Hey, baby brother. What’s up?” Caroline said.

“Hey sis. I need to put you on speaker phone.”

“Why?”

“I’m at Melissa Gordon’s house.”

“Drew…”

“Can you hear me, Caroline?” Melissa said.

“Yes, ma’am.”

The worry in her voice concerned him.

“Drew has told me what has been going on. I don’t like the fact that you’ve been blackmailed into cooperating with the competition, and I’m furious that your brother has been dragged into this.”

“I don’t understand.”

“Drew and I have become close in a way. And he’s told me what he had to do to help you.” Her gaze met his across the expanse of the room. Understanding and something else twinkled in her blue eyes.

“I want to see you in my office first thing tomorrow. And Caroline?”

“Yes, ma’am.”

“Bring your husband.”

“But, Ms. Gordon, he doesn’t know about this.”

“I understand, Caroline, but he will after tomorrow morning. Either you tell him today or I will tomorrow. Your choice.”

Damn! She’s hot when she’s in her element and controlling the movements of those around her.

His gaze skimmed down her chest and her nipples puckered against her top. He licked his lips and she shifted her stance.

“I’ll see you at eight.”

He heard the phone click as Caroline hung up and he sighed.

“I want you there, too.”

“Me? Why?”

“You’ve been instrumental in dragging me into this so you’ll be involved in getting your sister out of it.” She folded her arms over her chest. “You owe me.”

“I do?”
“Yes, you do.”
“How so?”

“You used me, Drew. I don’t like being used as a pawn in a game I don’t know about.”

He stood and moved toward her while her eyes widened the closer he got. “What happened between us had nothing to do with Caroline, Matthew or the company you run.”

“No?” She took a step back.

“No. We’re good together, Liss. Like it or not, you want me.” He skimmed his hand over her nipple and she sucked in a ragged breath. “You want me controlling your every sexual fantasy.” She stood her ground when he ran his tongue across her bottom lip. “Punishing you when you don’t do what I tell you. Warming that pretty little ass. Fucking you until you scream my name.”

“I don’t,” she whispered, but it held no conviction.

“I told you not to lie to your Dom, little sub.”

She whimpered and he smiled before he slipped his hand across her flat stomach. Little did she realize how dilated her pupils were, how fast her breathing had become or how she leaned toward the heat of his hand.

“Oh yeah. Face it, babe. You can’t deny it. Your body betrays you with every whimper, every breath. You love having me tame you, taking control away from you and making your body sing for mine.”

Her shoulders straightened and she stepped back. “Get out of my house, Drew.”

“Is that what you really want?”

Nervously shaking palms skimmed over her arms and she whispered, “Yes.”

With one light kiss to her lips, he turned around and headed for the door. She’d come to her senses after they talked to Caroline tomorrow. His whistled confidently as he headed for his truck, sure he would be taming Melissa Gordon again come tomorrow night.

* * * *

Melissa sat behind her desk with the three other people sitting in the chairs across from her and the company attorney standing next to her.

“Did you two talk, Caroline?”

Her Chief Financial Officer dropped her gaze to the hands in her lap before she whispered, “Yes.”

“And?”

Caroline shot a glance to her husband sitting next to her. Matthew Vincent was a handsome man with his brown curly hair and bright green eyes.

It’s no wonder Caroline is married to him.

“Can I answer that?” Matthew said.

“Of course.”

“Caroline told me what she’s done. I don’t think it’s any of your business what happens in our private life, Ms. Gordon, and I resent the fact that you’ve dragged us into your office to discuss this.” He stood and tugged Caroline to her feet. “Unless you plan to fire her from her job, we’re leaving.”

Melissa’s admiration for the man grew as he defended his wife, no matter the fact that she cheated on him.

“Sit down, Mr. Vincent. There is more in play here than Caroline’s indiscretions.”
