They both laughed loudly and Cailen pressed a kiss to my forehead.

Alick sobered a bit before he asked, “May I ask if you knew the man that was murdered in the house, then?” I could tell that he felt uneasy asking the question truly worried that it would hurt me.

I sighed. “Unfortunately, yes. It was my grandfather.”

Cailen’s grip got tighter and Alick flinched. “I’m so sorry, Emberly. Truly. I didn’t mean to bring that up. I can be a daft prick sometimes.”

I laughed. “I guess I see where Cailen gets it then.” They both smiled but were obviously still worried about my state.

I waved them off. “Really, its ok. Amazingly, it is easy to discuss with you two, I guess because we share a common link. I don’t know it just doesn’t bother me anymore.”

The words stilled me as soon as they left my mouth. I couldn’t believe they were mine but they were utterly truthful.

Cailen smiled so sweetly then brushed his lips across my knuckles. “It’ll only get easier now, Gemma.”

Nodding I sipped the remaining amber liquid. “Ok. Enough of that shit are you going to pour me another or shall I remain parched?”

Alick gave me the biggest toothy smile as he nodded and grabbed my glass. He freshened all our drinks and we carried the decanter out onto the roof top patio. We sat there for hours laughing and talking about their years of woman trolling and devilish ways. I learned that Cailen had never brought a woman home nor introduced any to his family.

A silent thrill shot up my spine knowing I was the only person to have that honor. And honestly I could say the same thing. My father went to his grave never seeing me in love.

I had been engaged at an earlier age but it was more for convenience than anything. There was never love it was more infatuation. It didn’t last long and we went our separate ways. I still saw him on television occasionally campaigning with his beautiful wife and 2.5 kids.

Alick was fastly becoming one of my favorite people. I realized something about myself that night. I had the ability to relax and once that happened I was pretty fucking likeable. We traded barbs back and forth until the decanter was empty and we all had a nice buzz. Alick had the wonderful idea of hitting the local pub. Cailen perked up and I could only sigh and go along because his jubilant reaction to a simple gesture made me happy.

We stumbled from the house and began walking up the street. Alick spoke to nearly every person we passed. Apparently his charm worked on everyone. We landed at this pub just down from his house.

The lights were dim and the smell of beer permeated your nose. Cailen pulled a stool for me and sat beside me with Alick on my other side. Apparently it was an unspoken rule that men sit beside a woman and not each other.

I continued my current trek and ordered another Glenlivet. Cailen and Alick each ordered a Scottish Ale and we sat back continuing to flood our heads with alcohol.

At some point Alick grabbed my hand and pulled me onto the open floor to show me how to flail about to Celtic tunes. I have to admit I had a blast out there twirling and stomping.

When I was sweating buckets Cailen eased in and claimed my hand. He pulled me close and buried his face in my hair.

“I love you, Gemma.” He whispered.

I pull back to stare into his eyes. “I love you, too.” I gave him a crooked smile then added, “And your sweet ass, too.”

He ran his hands over my ass and forcefully gripped my cheeks. “That would be a ditto on my part, beautiful.”

Then he kissed me and I swear to God the temperature in the room rose twenty degrees. I was panting when he pulled back and basically popped his collar in proudness. I snorted.

He pulled me back to the bar and I noticed Alick was staring at us with a huge smile plastered to his face. I wasn’t sure if it was the beer or us that put it there but it was infectious.

“So Alick, where is your better half?” I asked as I drained the last contents of my glass signaling for another.

He grinned. “Well it sure as hell isn’t standing beside you.” He joked looking at Cailen. Then he brought his eyes back to mine as he added, “Actually I was married for five years but she passed away a few years ago.” His trailed off into space and he reached for his beer.

I stretched my hand over and touched his arm. “Oh, I’m so sorry, Alick.”

His responding smile was full of appreciation.

“Thank you, Emberly. It’s ok. I’m finally able to smile again and I know that’s what she would have wanted.”

I had to actually blink back tears and I realized that I was turning into a fucking sap.

I sipped my drink again before I asked, “Do you mind if I ask what happened?”

He took a deep breath and I saw the tension in his jaw before he answered, “It was car accident. It was raining that night and she was coming to pick me up from a show when another car pulled in front of her and she lost control sliding into a tree.” He stared into his beer for several moments before he offered in a choked voice, “We’d just found out that morning we were having a baby.”

My heart actually broke for him. I didn’t think I just wrapped my arms around his neck and whispered, “Alick, I am so very sorry. If I can ever do anything for you, I am here. All you have to do is ask.” I pulled back and let my eyes reassure him.

He ran a finger across my cheek and smiled. “I might take you up on that, sweetheart. Thank you.”

I smiled back and patted his hand. “I mean it. Anytime. Cailen’s family is my family.”

I felt a hand wrap around my waist and nearly pull me off my stool. In one motion I was basically sitting in Cailen’s lap. He took his hands and wrapped them around my face.

“Marry me.” He breathed.

My heart stopped and my face locked in shock. I never thought I would hear those words again and I wasn’t entirely certain I ever wanted to. The thought of forever with one person had me breaking into a cold sweat and my heart palpitating. Everything had happened so fast and I couldn’t help but worry that his declaration was based on the alcohol and not true feelings.

I stared at the floor, panicked. He pulled my face to his.

“I will teach you that life shouldn’t be over analyzed. You are buzzing with indecision and doubt right now, I see it in your beautiful green eyes. I can promise you that this is something I’ve been thinking about and it’s not the alcohol, Gemma. I love you. I want to be with you, forever. I won’t be hurt if you say no but I wanted you to have all the facts before you make your decision, love.” He traced his lips over my cheek.

Am I fucking crazy? I mean, I barely knew him but I felt like I’d known him my whole life. No one has ever made me feel so complete and happy. We fit in every way possible.

All I know is that when I was away from him I nearly broke apart. I never wanted to feel that again. Hell, I couldn’t survive that again.

I slowly lifted my eyes to his face and straddled him in his seat cupping his face.

“Fuck yes I’ll marry you.”

I thought he was going to strip my clothes and screw me right there on the bar. He literally attacked me and Alick let out a big yell.

“Drinks on me! My brother is getting married and I hope to fuck she knows what she’s doing because he is a giant ball of complication.” He screamed as beers started sliding down the bar.

I laughed but Cailen ignored him running kisses up and down my neck.

“If he thinks you are a giant ball of complication he has no fucking clue what he’s getting into with me.”

Cailen moaned. “I know exactly what I’m getting, Gemma,” He groaned into my neck as he continued to assault my shaky control.

I just sighed and rolled with the punches grabbing his lips and pretty much committing indecency right there at the bar. He gave absolutely no compliant and Alick patted me on the back for good measure.

Finally I slid back into my seat and picked up my glass to celebrate the one thing that was utterly going to shake NYC.

We pretty much shut the bar down and barely made it back to Alick’s house. I was doubled over laughing when he tried to force his key into a neighboring door that was black not red and about four times smaller. We were hammered.

When we finally stumbled inside, Alick pointed to the guest wing and Cailen smiled.

“Good night brother. If you don’t mind I’ll be taking my bride to bed now and I plan on fucking her until she begs me to stop.”

I laughed out loud.

“I think it’ll be you that begs tonight, bagpipe.”

He growled and pulled me tight against his frame. “Do your best, love. Fucking work me over.”

I winked at Alick who was smiling like a mental patient. I grabbed Cailen’s hand and pulled him in the general direction as he groped my body. Eventually we found the bedroom and I barely made it through the door before he was ripping my clothes off and raking his hands over my body.

When he got to my bra I heard a sigh come through his lips and watched as he slid it from my shoulders. A huge smile crossed his face when he saw my nipple rings and began battering them with his tongue.

He really does have a freak flag that flies high over his head.

But tonight was going to be my way. This was my moment and I was going to show him what I liked. I placed my hand on his chest and pushed him toward the bed knocking him onto the mattress. I walked back over and picked up the scarf I had around my neck and turned to saunter back over to him.

He was watching my progress as he licked his lips. I pulled his underwear off and slid him back against the headboard. I took both hands and positioned them tying each arm to the wooden posts. He never questioned it but I could see he was fighting hard not having the ability to touch me and please me.

That was my favorite part.

I pressed my nipple ring in his face and watched the hungry gaze cover his eyes. Oh yes, this was going to be epic.

I licked his lips and met his tongue inside his mouth and tasted every part licking and teasing. I moved to his ear and let my tongue caress his earlobe as I hissed my need in his ear. His groans were loud now. I traced my hands over his chest and took his nipple into my mouth swiping its hardness. I could feel his back arching and his legs tensing.

That is the draw to kinky sex. Men can’t stand not being in control. They often rush the good stuff just to get a quick thrill because that’s just how they are wired. But, when the woman takes that control it becomes a near obsession for most men because the thrill and the high of release when it finally comes is nearly unbearable.

I claimed his gaze and let him watch me trail down his body with my tongue as he shivered. The fact that he is nearly hairless all over made me absolutely slick. When I reached his bellybutton I could feel his cock twitch. I smiled as I watched his eyes basically devour me as I went further down.

When I finally reached his cock it couldn’t have been more erect. I reached down and removed my panties and crammed them into his mouth. His eyes rolled back in his head as I continued to palm him and lick every part of his shaft. The tremors flowing from his body made me shiver with anticipation.

I took everything he had into my mouth and worked him over. He writhed under my touch and I worked harder. Each time I reached the tip I heard a muffled moan.

On my last trek up his length I felt that familiar stiffened posture right before he is ready to release and I pulled back and smiled.

Then I climbed on top and claimed his gaze before I slipped my folds over his cock and I’m not sure who screamed louder but it was the singular most gratifying moment of my life. I rocked down not able to wait and enjoyed the sensation of feeling him roll so deeply within me that I swear my reproductive system sang to me.
