About the Illustrator

S
vetlana Fictionalfriend is a Russian illustrator with a background in mathematics. She is a self-trained artist and has an interest in butterflies, moths, and the horror genre. Give her caffeine, and she shoots off like one of the rocket models she could program for you.

Video games and the work of Tove Jansson have played a crucial role in the development of Svetlana’s style, and she appreciates art that gives you pause and makes you shiver.

She is a vegetarian and has a special fondness for cats. These two facts may or may not be related. You should try her biscuits sometime.
