Cooper let out a disappointed sigh, at Nate's word she glanced around the room, and saw everyone smiling and clapping at them. “Yeah I think we should.”

Nate placed her back on her feet, opened the box still clasped in his hand. He lifted the ring out, reached for her left hand and slipped it on her finger. His gazed held hers. “Forever.”

Close to tears once more, Cooper blinked them away. “Forever.”

With her hand still clasped in his, Nate led her out of the cafeteria ignoring the commotion he'd caused. All he could think about was getting his woman home and into bed. When they reached his car, he gave her one more long lingering kiss before he helped her inside the vehicle.

“Nate I've missed you.” Cooper admitted when he was seated beside her.

Nate cupped her cheek. “I know sweetheart I've missed you too. Now come on let's go home. You have a lot of making up to do.”

Her laugh came out in a husky rush, sending desire and need swimming through her veins. “Well then drive man, drive.”

And Nate did, he drove home in record time and the moment they entered the penthouse, he swept her up in his arms and carried her to bed. Clothes were removed in seconds and shortly afterwards only the sound of soft moans and flesh meeting flesh could be heard.
