“Oh please, she probably isn’t even with him,” I say as I call her name through the house.

“What room did she sleep in?” Liam asks, looking anything but happy.

“The one across from the bathroom,” I say as we head in that direction.  I knock on the door, but there’s no answer so I turn the handle to open the door. “Holy shit,” I yell as Liam slams t
he door shut.  “Oh my God, get that vision of Kenz and Spence out of my head,” I plead.

“I knew it,” he says laughing.

“If you knew it, why did you let me open the damn door?”

“They didn’t say anything so I figured maybe they weren’t in there,” he says still laughing, “It’s okay babe, I’ll make you forget everything you just saw,” he says as he pulls me down towards our bedroom, which is at the end of the hall.

“Please, please make me forget,” I say as I start unbuttoning his shirt.

“Sorry you t
wo, not yet,” Brody says smugly from the doorway.

“Why not?”
I whine.

“We need a few more pictures.”

“Well, we aren’t really going to have everyone in them,” I say quickly.

“Yeah you will, Quinn already busted in on Kenzie and Spence and told them to hurry up, she’s givi
ng them ten minutes to get downstairs,” he says laughing, causing Liam to laugh too.

“It’s not
funny,” I retort.

“Sure it is babe, who would have thought those two would ever hook up?”
Liam asks laughing.

Ugh, I don’t care, let’s go,” I say as I drag Liam back down the stairs.

Kenzie and Spence come down a few minutes later, looking like they were on their best behavior.  Not a hair is out of place on Kenzie’s head.

“We need to talk then,” I whisper to Kenz as I’m heading towards Lily and Liam.

“Sure,” she says as she follows me.

We get picture after picture and before long, my mom and dad are taking Lily for the night.

“Are you going to be al
l right with her not being here?” Liam asks worriedly as he shuts our bedroom door.

“I’ll be fine, plus it’s not like she’s far.”

“True, but no running down to get her, you are mine tonight, all mine,” he says as he saunters towards me looking all kinds of sexy.

Tonight we make love for the first time as husband and wife and I couldn’t feel more loved.

(Chapter Eleven 8 Months Later)

At
graduation, I get to walk across the stage, knowing I would not be here if it weren’t for my family and friends and Liam.  This last year, having a baby and still being able to remain caught up in all of my classes was extremely hard, but with everyone’s help, I’m here.

“Congratulations baby,” Liam says as he kisses me passionately
, not caring who’s watching.

Get a room,” Brody jokes before coming over to us.

“We did it,” I say as I give him a hug.

“We sure did.”

“Sweetie
, did you and Liam think any more about moving back to Delaware?’ Mom asks.

“We can’t
Mom.  I took the job in Michigan where I get to interview different athletes.

“Baby
, you can interview me anytime,” Liam says smugly.

“I was hoping I would get to s
ee this precious little girl more,” Mom says sadly as she kisses Lily’s head.

“We will visit as often as we can, plus you can come here too,” I say
, hoping that smooth’s things over.

“Sounds good, I can work with that.
  I need to get some pictures,” she says excitedly, handing me Lily.

“Hey sweet girl.
  Mommy loves you,” I say staring into my blonde haired, blue-eyed daughter who looks more and more like her daddy every day.

“Daddy loves you too,” Liam says as he kisses her on the head, “And I love you too,” he says before kissing me.
  “So, I’m thinking we should tell them.”

“Today?”
I ask surprised.

“Yeah
, why not?” he asks with a look.

“I don’t know, I hadn’t really thought about it.”  We are interrupted for pictures and once they are all over with
, I couldn’t be more thankful.  After we’re done, we all head back to our house for cake and conversations.

Hey everyone,” Kenzie says interrupting everyone, “I have some news to share with everyone,” she says looking nervous.

Suddenly
, Spence stands up and walks towards her.

“What’s going on?” I ask being nosey.

“Spence and I got married,” she shouts in excitement.

“Married?
When?” I ask as I stand up and rush towards her to see that she does in fact have a wedding band and ring on.  “Holy shit, congratulations,” I say happily.

“Damn
, I didn’t know you two were that serious,” Liam says, as he slaps Spence on the shoulder.

“Yeah, we kind of kept it quiet.”

“I mean, we figured something was going on after our wedding when we, well you know, but why didn’t you say anything after that?” I ask surprised.

“We didn’t know if it would work
, because he’s here and I was in West Virginia.”

“So
, what now?” I ask confused.

“I moved in with Spence.  So
, it looks like we are all living in Michigan,” she says excitedly.

After all the congratulations
, I look at Quinn who’s sitting on the couch near the corner looking upset.

“What’s wrong?”
I ask as I approach and take the seat next to her.

“Nothing.”

“Try again,” I say calling her out.

“You guys are all married and happy and I don’t know if Brody wants that with me.”

“Why wouldn’t he?  He loves you?”

I know, but you guys are all married and you have Lily and I want that too,” she says softly.

“Y
ou are going to have that.  We just graduated today, you have plenty of time to have kids and get married.”

“I know, I guess I just
feel a little jealous.  I’ll be fine.”

“If you aren’t
, tell me, I’m always here for you.”

“What’s going on?” Brody asks as he comes up to us.

“Just girl talk,” I’ll be back, I say as I head off in a different direction.

“We are not telling anyone,” I say quickly to Liam.

“Why not?”

“Because your brother needs to propose to Quinn first.”

“Is he planning on doing that?” he asks, looking confused.

“He better hope so,” I state matter of fact.

“Babe, what happened?” Liam asks worriedly.

“Quinn feels jealous of us all getting married, us having Lily, she wants her own start.”

“Hails, I know you love her, but we aren’t going to stop our news because she’s a little jealous right now.”

“But,”

“No but’s babe, it’s not happening.  Let’s go,” he says as he leads me towards the center of the living room. “Can we have everyone’s attention please,” he asks as everyone turns to look.  “We have some news of our own to share.”

“You’re moving home?” Denise shouts.

“No Mom, sorry,” he laughs.

“Haley’s pregnant?” My mom asks.

“No Mom, I’m not pregnant,” I say, surprised that my mom would say such a thing.  “But my husband is moving back to Michigan permanently.”

“What do you mean?” Denise asks confused.

“I talked to the coaches and I’ve been traded to Detroit, which is great for us; now I’ll only be forty-five minutes away.”

“Are you guys going to move to Detroit?”
Brody asks.

No,” I answer bluntly.

We are going to stay in Ann Arbor and I’ll make the commute for games and practices,” Liam says.

W
hat about your job?” Quinn asks, looking at me.

“I’ll continue working,” I say, looking confused.

“So, you aren’t moving?” Kenzie asks looking hopeful.

“No, we are stay
ing here. Liam may need to rent a place near Detroit, but we aren’t moving there,” I say standing firm.  I have no desire to live there.

Denise and my mom decid
e they want a few more pictures.  We get one last one, which has the Masters family and the Lawrence family along with Quinn, because she is family too.  It’s amazing how so much good and bad has happened over the last few years, yet over time, all the bad seems like a distant memory.

Epilogue (1 Year Later)

“Hey beautiful,” Liam says as he enters the room carrying our daughter.

“Hey you, is he nervous?” I ask as I make silly faces at Lily.

“Not at all, more excited than anything,” he says as he hands Lily over to me.

“Hi Prin
cess, are you ready for today? I ask as I give her kisses.

“Where’s Quinn?”
Liam asks.

She’s finishing up getting ready.”

“You look beautiful,” he says as he leans down to chastely kiss me.  “And you squirt, how are you doing in there?” he says as he rubs my belly.

“He’s quiet today,” I say feeling thankful.  “Only four months to go,” I say with a look.

“I love you pregnant baby,” he says as he takes Lily back.

“I’m not trying to have a football team Liam.”

“We could, I’m all for it,
” he says with a sexy smirk.

“Then you can
carry them for nine months and give birth, we’ll see how much you like it then,” I say with a straight face.

“Okay, okay, not a football team, maybe just five,” he says with a smile before kissing me.

“Oh my gosh, if I gain any more weight, this dress would not fit me right now,” Kenzie says as she walks into the room with Quinn right behind her.

“You look great,” I praise.

“Ha, yeah right, I look like a blimp with this bump.  How come you look so cute pregnant and I look like a whale?” she whines.

“You don’t look
like a whale,” I say laughing, “You look very cute.”

“I don’t feel cute,” she complains.

“Well, you are.”

“You look radiant Kenzie,” Liam says trying to make her feel better.

“Don’t be a smartass,” she says as she walks into the bathroom, causing Liam to laugh.

Kenzie
, is eight months pregnant and obviously, not always loving life.  But she’s happy and she and Spence are really good together, so I couldn’t be happier for them.

“It’s almost
time,” Liam says as he kisses me farewell.  “See you in a few minutes.”

Are you ready?” I ask Quinn.

“I’ve been ready,” she says excitedly, beaming for her wedding day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“I can’t believe you are finally married,”
I say happily to Quinn.
“I know,
but I couldn’t be happier,” she says grinning.
“You look like you’re glowing.  I’m going to get you some champagne and me some sparkling water,” I say as I stand up.
“Make it two sparkling waters.”
“What?  Why?”
“Just because,” she says with a shrug.
“Are you pregnant?”
“Yes, but please don’t say anything,” she says worriedly.
“How far along are you?”
“Fourteen weeks.”
“Holy shit, that’s awesome,” I say excitedly as I hug my best friend.
“Thanks,” she says with a smile.
“How long have you known?”
“Quite a while,” she says looking guilty.
“And I’m just now finding out?”
I ask with a look.
“We had so much going on with the wedding, I
’m sorry.”
Its fine, everything turned out great, so now you get to sit back and grow,” I say laughing.
“We’re all going to have babies around the same age,” she says with a smile.
“I couldn’t be happier.”
“Couldn’t be happier about what?” Brody asks.
“Congratulations,” I say with a wink.
“You told her?” he says with the biggest smile.
“Told who, what?” Liam asks as he approaches.
“I’m
gonna be a dad,” Brody boasts proudly.
“No shit, congratulations,” Liam says as
he gives his brother a man hug.
“This is wonderful news,” I say excitedly.
We sit and talk for another thirty minutes before Liam interrupts, “Babe, we need to get going.”
“Already?”
Quinn asks.
“Yeah,
we’re leaving for our honeymoon.  The season starts back-up for me in two months, so I plan to make good use out of what I have left,” he says with a wink.
What time’s your flight?” Brody asks.
7:15 p.m.
“And you’re taking Lily?” Brody asks with a look.
“Yes, she is our daughter,” I say laughing.
“Rebecca, Rob, and Cara are leaving
too, so they said they would watch her some nights, so I can take advantage of my wife,” Liam says proudly.
“It’s not taking advantage if your wife wants it,” I retort.
“Yes, I know my little nympho.  Let’s go,” he says as he threads his fingers with mine.
“We can watch her too,” Quinn says happily, “We’ll be there tomorrow afternoon.”
“No, it’s your honeymoon too, you guys enjoy it,” I say with a smile.
“We are all going to hang out you know,” Brody says.
“Maybe you guys are, but when we don’t have Lily, I plan to have my wife under lock and key,” Liam says with a straight face.
“Such a caveman,” I joke, shaking my head as I stand up.
“You love me.”
“Yes I do,” I say to my sexy husband, then turn to Brody and Quinn, “We will see you two tomorrow in paradise.”
