K waves her over, reaching out to her and pulls a warm blanket from the back of the couch pulling her down next to him. “Drop the robe Angel.” She places her hands on her robe.
Can’t she just come here for warmth?
A little part of her mind protests the continuous dictates, but she pulls her robe apart and lets it pool on the floor. Her slender curves are revealed in front of the warm fireplace.

He is careful to take a moment and look his fill before opening the blanket and inviting her into its’ warm folds. Unlocking the computer he finishes up his work with her on his lap, the computer balanced on top of them. She barely spares it a glance, she could care less. She’s grateful as always to be wrapped in his warm solid embrace, the evil wet edges of what was done to her receding from around them as she’s enveloped in the blanket and his warm arms in front of the fire. It’s like the storm outside recedes and all she can hear is the sound of the warm crackle of the logs burning, along with the warm smell of his soap and the shampoo he uses to wash his hair and the thick smell of aftershave in the curve of his strong neck. The arm holding her and not the computer curves around her bottom and cradles her thigh giving it a firm massage as well. All of this puts her at ease. but K can see she is still a bit restless.

"Do you have to leave tomorrow?" His heart skipped a bit at her question. He liked that she was doing less and less to hide the fact that she welcomed his company when he was here.

"Yeah, if you want to keep eating." He said, joking and being serious at the same time.

“Well...I do." She responded. The light from the fireplace glowed in her eyes and the television flashed as it reflected off of her pretty face.

"That's good,” he said. “especially considering I do all the cooking." He added with a smile.

She laughed. "Do you want me to cook?"

"No," he said, looking back at the TV. "I like to cook."

“I've never liked it." She said. "At home I..." and then she stopped herself -
home
. Sometimes she tried not to think about it...

He looked at her, then caught on. "I
will
let you go Francine."

"I know." She said believing him, but still looking down.

"Then, what's wrong Angel?”

“Will I ever see you again?” She asked softly. He knew he had to be careful now, it must have taken a lot for her to ask. In fact his was a bit surprised by the question. Didn’t she understand how precious she was to him? He couldn’t understand why she wasn’t beating guys off with a stick. Then he remembered the plants, the reading. She was shy, and these circumstances while tragic had taken her out of her comfort zone. This he knew was a good thing and a bad thing. Good, because she obviously felt more free and easy with him out here, just the two of them, but bad because, well, it was just the two of them. Could they even work in the real world?

He thought about the life that was waiting for him when he got back, he had been dating someone before he left, but made sure that he ended it before going to look for his sister and getting involved with The Organization. What kind of life did she want? Would he even fit?

“Would you like to?” He countered, nervous as hell about her response.

She shrugged a bit. “Yes.” She finally answered. He felt his heart soar and then sunk like a feather to the earth.

Sadly he said, ”I don't know Angel.” There were still things he hadn’t told her, and she didn’t know him, not really.

"Why not?"

“Lets talk about it later okay?” He said knowing she’d allow the topic change, she was tired and scared of the storm, but he knew her determined mind would bring it up again eventually, it was just her way.

This was a reprieve, the conversation was far from over. She wasn't pushy about anything, but in her there was a determined steel will as great as his or anyone else he’d ever met. She was like water on a rock when she got a campaign going; soft, but forceful. She'd only ever even raised her voice to him one time - teaching her the error of her ways had been fun. He cock stirred remembering it.

He floated back to how she had entered the room, shivering in his arms.

“How about some mulled wine?”

“Mulled wine? You can make mulled wine too.” She smiled. “There are a lot of different recipes. How do you make yours?”

K’s look became mischievous, “I’ll make one, and you tell me what you think, OK? He disentangled himself from the blanket and even though Francine missed his warmth she was too intrigued to be disappointed. She wanted to follow him into the kitchen but then heard his warning. “Stay put submissive, or I’ll come back and put you in slave position.”

She plopped back on the couch next to his computer. It shined up at her, temptation a shiny silver rectangle. Begging for at least one tiny peek.
Oh yeah, like I’m falling for
that
again.
Ignoring it she turned away curling back under the blanket and leaned her head on a pillow against the back of the couch.

Soon K returned with two mugs of very fragrant dark red liquid. The smell was like ripe plums and cinnamon and smoke rose from the two white mugs. K gathered her back onto his lap before enveloping her with his warmth. Tentatively Francine held the warm liquid up to her nose and sniffed. It smelled delicious, like cherries and cinnamon. She took a sip, it was warm and smooth and eased down her throat.

“That taste really good - Klaus.”

He smiled "Klaus? I promise you that's not it."

After a few more quiet sips she frowned down at her mug. "I think you put vodka in that toddy." She said feeling VERY relaxed.

“Klaus is a German name, weren't you going for
Russian
?" he adds with his sexiest Russian
R.

"Oh yeah." she said looking confused. “Well, I'm sure the Germans like their Vodka too, Master."

He smiled again. "I-" she looks at him her heart in her eyes. "I just wish you'd tell me." He looks back, terrible regret in his eyes.

“Francine..." he cradled her pretty face in his big hands giving her hazel eyes the most intense look, so much behind his dark eyes.

"Sir?" she responds. Then she kisses him, The toddy had emboldened her. her kiss is sweet her whole heart is in it and it melted his. When she broke it off they were both breathing heavy. There were so many things she wanted to say and
Sir
was not it. Her thoughts were jumbled by the toddy and his overwhelming presence, along with the vulnerability of her naked body. She imagined herself an eloquent linguist. The right things rolling off her tongue, her thoughts flowing bright and free like water through a mountain stream. She’d talk and the result would be the same as when he asked her pointed questions. He’d answer before he could think about it and he’d have her answers. She’d start with,
Who are you? Why did we meet the way we did? What were you doing there?
WHO ARE YOU?

Why can't you be with me?

But already, his hand is between her traitorous legs and they're foolishly eager to part for him, her needling, practical thoughts already falling from her mind at his skillful hands.

Outside the blizzard continued to rage, but it’s furious noises had already eased into the background behind the crackling fire and her contented sigh as she took another sip of her mulled wine. “What’s in it?” She asked, her last shot at finding purchase.

“Red wine, cinnamon and herbs”. He said quietly.

“It’s really good.” she said sadly, one more thing for her to miss - later. He moved his hand from between her legs and placed it on her mug, but she tugs on it, gently reclaiming it before she swallowed the last drops before letting him place the empty mug on the coffee table before them. The rich elixir seemed to warm her whole body making her feel more and more content and at ease.

“Better?” He asked. His hand had slipped inside her blanket and had cupped her breast his fingers pulling at her nipple until she gasped.

He worked his magic on her again, she felt her mind drifting, lost as the passion rose inside her. Lost to his kisses where her neck met her shoulder, a soft lick and then a bite that went straight to her groin. The feel of this teeth sent a charge straight to her core that heated her up like pavement on a hot day.

“Yes sir.” The wine had her complaisant, like putty in his hands and she could feel her legs ease apart, all too ready to open for him. Taking that as his cue he moved his hand back down her body and cupped her bare mound letting her feel the heat from his palm. Then he captured her lips in a hot searching kiss, using his tongue to get a taste of her and the wine until her head swam. He just held his palm against her so large and so warm until she pushed up against it until finally he eased a finger into her moist heat allowing his thumb to gently rub her clit in slow circles.

“Feel good?” he asked.

“Yes sir.” He knew she liked that.

“Tell me.” he asked in his low husky voice.

“That feels good sir.”she gasped. She felt him place his fingers deeper back inside her heat and press against the cluster of nerves just inside her opening now massaging her g-spot making her arch her back, the blanket falling from one shoulder, her mouth opened in a pant. Unable to wait any longer he opened his pants rolled on a condom pinned her beneath him and entered her in one stroke.

The feel of his clothes against her naked body was erotic and restrictive at the same time. Being unable to touch him was just another way to dominate her as he moved slowly in and out of her eager body pinning her hands above her head when they tried to reach under his t-shirt.

“Not without my permission
submissive
”. She whimpered, wrapping her legs around his sweat pants, missing the feel of his skin on hers. Switching to a one handed hold for her wrist he reached down with one hand for her clitoris and pushed against it as he continued to stroke her hungry weeping, pussy.

“Sir, sir?” she heaved out, she could feel herself starting to beg now.

“Yes Angel?” he asked, then before she could form the question in her mind pinched her swollen clitoris and she could feel herself shaking apart from the inside as she strained against him, his restrictive hands his heavily muscled body. Her orgasm combined with the mulled wine and the late hours proved to be too much and soon she was fast asleep.

K looked at the sleeping form beneath him waiting for his own heart to slow. He’d never experienced anything like he had with her. He thought of how chilly she’d been when first came in, now she had a fine sheen of sweat from their lovemaking. Her chest rose and fell with every breath, the blue dot hiding beneath her hair. He didn't want to think about how much he’d miss her. How much of a coward he was, not even knowing how to say goodbye. He wasn't going to take her again before he left, but she had come in tonight vulnerable, reaching out, needing him. He had been unable to resist. It was all so unfair, to both of them, but especially to her, even he knew that.

For a moment he imagined again that she was
his
for
life
. That theirs was a normal relationship under normal circumstances and that she had chosen
him
, to be with him over all others and that their relationship had not been a result of a one fucked up occurrence after another. He just hoped she wouldn't spend the rest of her life hating him. As he picked her up to take her back to bed where he’d do his best to ecstasy and forgetfulness he knew that for now that was the best he could hope for.

Chapter 23

The second day turned into the third and Francine rolled over in bed alone. She wouldn't be for long. He would return to her this morning, 72 hours was fast approaching. Something inside of her always kept track. She hated that, but she couldn't seem to stop it - the compulsion to keep time
tick tick
.

The sun rose clear and cold. She ate breakfast alone and watered her samples. She listened to music. She read from her Kindle app. She got a lonely and strange feeling. Than at precisely 10:42 am as she looked out the front window and down the lonely deserted drive her collar snapped and fell to the floor from around her neck. The security system at the door beeped and the lights changed as it disarmed itself.

Francine’s heart froze in her chest as she looked at it the broken collar lying on the floor. Slowly she reached down then straightened before she could touch it and walked slowly to K’s study. The door stood open like it had for so many days before. She paused before entering, the cabin quiet now around her; like a lover holding it’s breath before finally giving up it’s secrets. She rounded the corner slipping through the door and looking at the far corner to her Master’s dreaded safe. As promised the door was propped open.

She trembled as unable to stop herself she padded over, the flip flops silent on the floor. She kneeled reverently before the safe and looked inside. Right on top of a stack of warm clothes and other items she found an iPhone. She lifted it off the stack, it was already wrapped in a white Lifeproof case. Francine had never even held one before now, she’d always just taken the phone that came free with subscription, or used a pre-paid service.
