She watched him, a look of wonder in her coffee colored eyes, her mouth a perfect ‘oh’, her cheeks flushed, her body glistening with sweat. Her moans were louder than they had been before, and he increased the pressure on her bud and she threw back her head in a guttural groan that precluded her internal muscles clamping down and milking his cock. Unable to take another heavenly second of this sublime torture, Brent forgot the horses and let himself go, reaching the edge of the abyss before falling into oblivion and collapsing on top of Casey.

He pulled her trembling body close as he rolled over to his side and tucked her head under his chin. He couldn’t catch his breath, the air had been sucked out of the tiny living space and he just knew his heart would pound out of his chest. Brent pulled her body as close to his as he could and rode out the waves of emotion that threatened to pull him under. He wanted to shout from the rooftops so all of Serendipity would know she was his.

He was a goner.

Chapter 8

C
asey had a hard time catching her breath, and she could tell Brent felt the same. He was just as undone by this experience, if the way he held her was any indication.

She’d never experienced anything close to what had just happened with Brent. She knew some women had orgasms, but she’d never had one during sex, and certainly not right after oral sex. Not two in a row. And not so quickly, either. Jees, Brent had just barely touched her and she was shattering under his mouth.

She inhaled deeply, trying to put a finger on her emotions. Was this love? Or was this just great sex? She’d thought she’d always loved Brent, even when she was so hurt after his rejection, she’d loved him. She’d always thought of him with a sharp pang that she called love, but right now? Right now, she ached so deep she wanted to weep. It was as if something inside her had been bottled up so tightly, and Brent unscrewed the top, spilling it all over her insides.

She was hit with a welling of emotions so intense that she didn’t know what to do with it. Something beautiful was beginning. She could feel it. Did she profess her love? Should she compliment his prowess?

A firm kiss on the top of her head brought her thoughts back to the man whose neck she was pressed against. Brent. The smell of his desire still emanated from his pores, just as it pumped through his veins, pulsing on his neck. She felt his Adam’s apple bob against her lips. Her tongue snaked out and tasted it. Salty. Yum. She licked her lips and a groan escaped.

Brent’s chuckle swept over her like waves rushing in at high tide. She turned her face up to his, still not sure what to say. The look in his eyes stopped her brain from thinking anything altogether. His pelvis found hers and warmth pooled in her core at the idea of doing this again.

“Stay with me tonight, Case. Please?”

He could ask her to lick the bottom of his boots and she’d do it. She nodded eagerly. He stood, pulling her up with him and then picking her up in one lithe motion. She wrapped her hands around his neck as he stalked to his bedroom and laid her gently on his bed, before slowly lowering himself on top of her.

“I’m going to make love to you again, Casey. And then we’re going to do it again. I’ve waited twenty years for this, and I’m not going to waste it.” He kissed her, a tender kiss that took her breath away. It wasn’t the urgent kiss of earlier, it was the lazy kiss of a man who had all night long. She whimpered as she deepened the kiss, opening her mouth and kissing him back, pressing her breasts to his chest as his hands roamed her body.

They fulfilled his promise, making love twice more, tangled limbs, rocking torsos, eager lips. When the emotions got too powerful, they even wiped each other’s tears, holding each other tightly. They climbed precipices and came crashing down together, entwined in each other’s psyches. They were two parts of one soul united that night, as they fell asleep, a mess of sweaty limbs and tangled sheets.

When Casey woke to sunlight spilling onto her face, she looked around the room. She hadn’t forgotten where she was, there was no hope of that. Brent had woken her up often enough in the night, with his kisses and caresses, that she’d been hyper-aware of her surroundings and who she was with.

It was her every fantasy come true. She had dreamed of Brent nearly her entire life, even after she’d married. Granted, she didn’t think of him constantly, not after she’d married Kevin. But after Brent had left for college, Casey had entertained fantasies of him coming home for Thanksgiving and professing his love for her. They would have a long-distance relationship until she could join him at college. When that never happened, she’d gone off to college on her own, a different one from Brent, as she didn’t want the reminders of his rejection. But she’d kept the fantasies. Even after meeting Kevin, after she’d boxed up the fantasies and put them on the top shelf in the corner of her mind, she’d still pulled them down to relive during dark times of her life. The what-ifs of Brent kept her going when Kevin wasn’t speaking to her after another failed pregnancy attempt. She admitted to herself that she’d subconsciously compared Kevin to her idea of Brent, and Kevin had always measured up just a tad short. Sometimes a lot short.

But that was then. Now that she’d really experienced Brent, Kevin wasn’t even in the same galaxy.

Brent’s tiny bedroom was filled with well-used, comfortable furniture. There was a scratched up chest of drawers in the corner, with a blue, chipped porcelain bowl on top, presumably filled with man things: old pocket knives, spare change, old keys, and a couple of arrow-heads. The nightstands had mismatched lamps on them. The chair in the corner held a set of clothes that had been removed, possibly clean enough to wear again. There was a laundry hamper in another corner, overflowing with dirty clothes. Lined up against the wall, next to the hamper was a pair of polished cowboy boots next to a worn out pair of Redwings.

Wondering where he’d gotten off to, Casey stretched her delightfully sore muscles before swinging her legs out of bed. A shower was in order, as well as locating her clothes. She walked into the living room to get her underwear, and froze when she saw Brent on the couch.

Apparently, he’d already been out to the barn, because he was dressed in the clothes he’d worn yesterday, faded jeans and the T-shirt that showed off his ripped abs. He was sprawled on the couch, leaned back, arm thrown over his head, and his dirty boots propped on the coffee table. Images of his naked torso above her while they’d made love last night filled her mind. She swallowed thickly and entertained thoughts of more. His chest rose and fell rhythmically, and his lap called to her.

Tiptoeing, so as not to wake him prematurely, she crept into his lap and leaned her still nude back into his chest. His arms came around her, as if they were made to wrap her in his essence. His strong embrace made her want to snuggle in for the long haul.

“I didn’t realize I’d fallen asleep here.” His sleepy voice in her ear sent a thrill down her spine, and she wiggled her hips in his lap with a giggle.

“I didn’t realize you’d leave the warm bed so early this morning.” She turned her head and kissed his bicep through his T-shirt, breathing hot air onto his skin.

He responded with a growl, and shifting her slightly, he raised one arm behind his head and tugged the T-shirt off.

“I want to spend the day naked with you.”

“Mmmm.” His tongue snaked out to lick the skin of her neck, and she relished the goose bumps that rose. “I have to go back early this afternoon. Mom’s coming home today, and I have some work to get done. But my morning’s free.”

One of his hands caressed her breast, tweaking the nipple slightly. She looked down and noticed bite marks and a rash from his stubble on them. She wondered where else he’d marked her? Arching her back into his caress, she moaned her encouragement, grinding her hips into the bulge that sprang up under her.

His hot lips grazed her back. “Lift up and let me take off my pants. It’s suddenly real hot in here, and I’m feeling overdressed.” He was kicking off his boots, and when she rose, he dropped his jeans to the floor with Casey’s help. When she stood, his hands on her hips dropped to her butt, and he squeezed. “You have an amazing ass. I want to fuck you while I watch it bouncing on my dick.”

She’d never really liked vulgar language. Kevin watched porn, and she’d tried to watch it with him, but the language had gotten to her. Listening to the porn stars say they wanted to fuck women’s pussies had never really turned her on.

But she’d never heard the words come out of Brent’s mouth before. When he said it to her, she could feel moisture almost dripping out of her. It made her feel like a goddess, and she shivered with delight.

“Don’t hold back, Brent. Tell me how you really feel,” she managed, wryly.

“Oh, I’m holding back, Sweetness. I don’t want to scare you.”

“You can’t.” She wasn’t sure if he was serious or not, but the pained noise that escaped his throat told her he was in fact, holding back. His calloused hands on her body made her quickly forget.

His hand traveled up her chest to her neck, grabbing her chin between his fingers. He turned her face toward his and kissed her fully, while re-arranging their bodies so he was on top of her on the couch. “You have no fucking idea how long I’ve wanted this, do you?” His voice rasped against her insides, turning her into a trembling mess. “How long I’ve wanted to be inside you, make you mine?”

Casey couldn’t breathe. The sound of his voice was like corduroy, rough and smooth at the same time. She swallowed thickly, suddenly feeling shy. She shook her head. “No. But—”

His mouth on hers stopped all thoughts of finishing her sentence. Never mind that she was willing to do anything Brent wanted her to. She was consumed by his kiss, a kiss of dominance, of passion, of possession. His tongue in her mouth claimed her with its force, and gave Casey an idea of what Brent meant when he said he’d dreamed of them together. When he pulled back, they were both breathless, and Casey was more turned on than she had been last night.

Against her will, her hips gyrated under him, grinding against the erection pressed against her, in a vain attempt to alleviate the pressure building inside her. He groaned in response and buried his face in her neck.

His stubble raked against the smooth flesh of her neck, eliciting a hiss of pleasure at the contact, and her fingernails scratched against his back, scrabbling for purchase as she quickly succumbed to the loss of control she was feeling. Brent’s tongue snaked out, licking her skin before he sucked on it until she wanted to climb out of her skin.

His rough hands palmed her breasts, tweaking her nipples to stiff peaks as he plunged inside her slick heat, filling her with a groan. Brent’s mouth crashed down on hers, kissing her into oblivion while his hips thrust in and out of her, stroking her insides, quickly bringing her to a shuddering climax. He drove in a few more pumps before his own soaring climax sent him gasping back down to her shoulder. It was quick, but it was also organic, the mutual attraction between adults culminating in a primitive joining as ancient as time.

As if reading her thoughts, Brent spoke in a rough whisper. “Christ, Case…I can’t control myself around you. I’m like a monkey, all primal need and absolutely no fucking control.”

“It doesn’t seem possible does it?” She was looking at his ceiling, breathing through her mouth, and the words came out of her in a rough whisper.

“What doesn’t seem possible?”

“That we could make each other feel like this. I’ve never felt this way with anyone else. Just you.” She felt his stubble stretch into a smile against the sensitive skin on her neck.

“I’ve never felt this way about another woman, either. It’s always been you, Casey.” He mumbled between kisses on her neck.

His words shocked her though. “Always?” She pushed him back until he was above her, looking down. His smoky gray eyes were focused on her face, dark and intense.

His finger stroked her jawline. “Always.” He clasped her hand in his and brought it up to his mouth. “I want you to see something.” Brent stood in all his glorious nakedness and tugged her up with him. He led her into the bathroom.

Shutting the door, he motioned to a full-length mirror hanging on the back. His arms wrapped around her and he rested his chin on the top of her head. “Look.”

All she could see was him. His cheeks ruddy and flushed with great sex. His broad shoulders peeking out from either side of her head, as she leaned against his stone pillar of a chest. The hair on his toned legs as they stood on either side of hers.

“Look at yourself, Casey.” His voice held a hint of amusement, as he’d followed her train of thought.

She saw a woman in the mirror that was a stranger. Her hair was wild, in a lovely freshly-fucked way. Her cheeks were also flushed, but her body was covered with hickies, stubble rash, bite marks, and slight bruises. Her body in the mirror shuddered with need and her cheeks flushed further.

“You’re mine, Casey. Those marks on your body are marks I made on you.” He turned her so that she could see the continuation on her backside, her butt and her back, as well as the backs of her legs were covered. “When these fade, I’ll put more on you. I want you to remember me when I’m not around. I’ll fuck you till you’re sore, so that the next day, you will have a constant reminder of what I can do to your body.” His hands went to her cheeks and spread them wide, exposing her most intimate of places to the mirror. “Someday, when you’re willing, I’ll make love to you here, and expose you to new, unknown pleasures, and then you’ll be thinking of me for days, every time you sit.” He turned her again so that she was looking at him in the mirror, while his finger connected the dots of his marks on her body, leaving a rash of goose bumps in its wake. “Mine, Casey Stewart. Mine.”
