Chapter Five

“Oh come on, don’t look at me with innocence, Madison,” Adam said.

“You know I’m not Maggie, his wife.” Madison looked at Sophie, who was now standing beside them.

“Of course. I was playing along, Silly. God, Maggie would never even look at me, let alone kiss me. The stuck-up bitch!”

“Sophie, please that’s my wife you’re talking about,” Adam snapped.

“Like you give a fuck about her. If you did, why did you ask me to come here tonight and help you seduce Madison?” Sophie replied.

As she left the bathroom and headed for the stairs, she spotted them, waiting for her on the next landing up.
