He continues to move steadily in and out of me while rubbing the erotic area, filled with an intense bundle of nerves.

I can barely breathe.

I can’t talk.

I can’t...

A cool sensation skates along my skin and heat builds from within. Foster begins to push into me faster and his thumb works its skillful magic. My body takes over my senses—and within a flash—I’m crying out moans of orgasmic bliss and quivering intensely. Foster grasps my thighs and thrusts into me hard, fast and with fury, reaching his own orgasm shortly after my own.

Panting, he leans forward, touching his lips with mine. “See what I mean?”

“No.” I blink, still in a bit of a haze. “I fucking felt it.”

He chuckles and I smile in return before kissing him again, full of gratitude. Part of me wants to ask how or why he knows so much about the anatomy of a woman, but it doesn’t matter. I’m happy to be the recipient of his research.

“Holy fuck!” a male voice stumbles behind Foster.

Startled, Foster and I jerk upright, looking for the intruder, finding Wolfgang and Joel staggering out of the living room and into the hallway.

“Sorry,” Wolfgang shouts from the other side of the threshold. “The front door was wide open.”

Slowly, Foster and I turn to face one another.

We smile.

We laugh.

“It’s okay, Wolfie,” I call back. “Our mistake.”

There’s a span of silence giving my heart a moment to calm.

“Let us know when it’s safe to come back in.”

Foster kisses my forehead. “Just give us a few seconds.”

“Sure.” Wolfgang pauses. “Hey, Foster. Nice ass, man.”

So, there was a little hitch in the evening, but Evelyn and I were able to get dessert on the table in plenty of time, with the help of Wolfgang and Joel, before the rest of our guests arrived. It has definitely been one of the more memorable nights of my life with my fiancée, which is saying a lot because she’s always full of surprises and out-of-the box ideas.

As our guests begin to leave, we say goodbye to Graham and Lilliana, and then Chandra and Jeremy, once again telling them congratulations on their engagement. Wolfgang and Joel are the last to bid us farewell.

“Well, it certainly was a memorable evening,” Wolfgang says to Evelyn and I as he shrugs into his coat.

“Yes,” Joel concurs, offering me his hand. “Thank you so much for dessert and allowing me to crash in on your event.”

“Of course,” Evelyn says. “Anytime.”

I wrap my arm over her shoulder. “Next time we’ll be sure to shut the front door.”

“That would be advised,” the professor agrees, jovial. “Wouldn’t want anyone walking in on anything private, now would we? It could be quite an embarrassment.”

“It certainly could.”

“I’ll meet you in the car,” he says to Wolfgang before exiting our place.

Wolfgang hugs Evelyn and then shakes my hand. “Thanks so much.” He peers at the woman in my arm. “I knew you were a minx.”

She laughs. “Get out of here. Go on and braid Joel’s hair.”

He blanches. “How did you...?”

“You’d be surprised what these eyes have seen. Some things are just more blatant than others.”

“Fair enough.” He kisses her cheek. “Night, you two.”

Wolfgang crosses the threshold and I shut the door, locking it behind him. When I turn around, Evelyn is nowhere to be found.

“Evelyn?”

“In here,” she calls.

I wait in the kitchen with my hands behind my back. Foster turns the corner and approaches me, appearing completely exhausted.

“Long night, huh?” I comment, joining him at the kitchen island.

“Very.”

I press my chest to his. “You know, I haven’t forgotten about how you broke tradition earlier this evening.”

“What do you mean?”

Raising my right hand, I dangle the mistletoe between us. “You still owe me a kiss.”

“What I gave you earlier doesn’t count?” He wraps an arm around my waist. “I think I went above and beyond. I gave you more than kisses. Didn’t you like it?”

“I absolutely loved it, but that doesn’t count. You have to do it under the mistletoe.”

“Then, I guess it’s time to rectify the oversight.”

Sliding his hand up my arm, Foster holds the mistletoe with me above our heads. He gently seals his lips to my own, making my heart pound profoundly within my chest. I close my eyes and cherish the way he kisses me senseless, making sense of everything, like only he can do.

SPECIAL THANKS

T
o all of my supportive friends, family, and readers—a little more time with Evelyn and Foster would have never been fathomed, if it weren’t for your love of them. Thank you.
