ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Charlotte Gordon has published two books of poetry, When the Grateful Dead Came to St. Louis and Two Girls on a Raft. She received an undergraduate degree in English and American Literature from Harvard University and a PhD from Boston University. She was a postdoctoral fellow at Boston University and has taught at many New England schools and colleges, including Boston University, Salem State College, The Glen Urquhart School, and The Waring School in Beverly, Massachusetts. She currently lives in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
